Pros: "Flew United out of Sioux Falls. Check in took forever. United employees were miserable. Did get some help from a very nice TSA woman. TSA check in was a nightmare. Almost missed flight. Complete chaos. The sat on runway for 40 minutes waging for luggage to be loaded. Almost missed connecting flight. Just plane horrible. Very helpful stewardess however."

Cons: "A five hour flight and you only get a mini pack of mini pretzels and a soda. The boarding was made an hour late, the United employees didn’t seem to care that a line formed ine hour before. Two people near me were blasting their smartphones listening to music and/or playing games with their smartphones but without earphones and not one person from the crew told them to shut it up."
Cons: "United flight ord to pdx was long, crowded, and typical minimum United standards. The seats barely recline and the headrest is very uncomfortable. I always dread flying United."

Cons: "All flights were awful. None were on time. I paid for economy plus aisle seat but was put in economy middle seat anyway. Asked for refund and was sent to 3 different people. The final person, a gate agent for my departing gate, Peggy Hunter, told me that she has 35 years experience and she knows everything about United Airlines’ processes. Told me the only way I might get a refund is to submit online but that paying extra for a seat upgrade doesn’t mean I will actually get one and that I should read the fine print on the ticket. Had previously spoken to another gate agent who had told me that I could ask for a refund at the departing gate. Wifi didn’t work. On one of three delayed flights had to beg for water to take my medicine. I will make extra efforts to avoid using this mediocre airline."

Cons: "I had a basic economy seat. Even though I had seat 7D I was zone 5 to board. Because I was basic I was not permitted to bring a bag. I wasn't able to check in. I had to go to the desk to prove I didnt have a bag to check. When I got on the plane because I was zone 5 there wasnt any space above for my personal item and the staff was rude and unhelpful. Never again."

I had to get off the plane and go show them our confirmation info and where we had already checked in for the flight. Still took anther 15 minutes and they where very rude until they realized their mistake...."

Check in attendants almost gave my seat away to a person with a dog, even though there were four other passengers without baby's flying. Then flight attendant yelled at me for "picking" the bulkhead seat- a seat that was given to me after united had taken my seat away earlier that day. I could go on and on. We won't be flying united again and I'm telling my friends with children to do the same."

Cons: "I didn't like how we left more than two hours late. United always pulls this kind of thing. The flight was overbooked, so we weren't going anywhere until people volunteered to take later flights. To allow enough time for someone to volunteer, aircraft maintenance was 'required', a scenario I have seen on a few other United flights. Honestly, I will never fly United again and am cancelling my future flights in favor of taking the train instead. It takes eight hours instead of a theoretical 1.5 hours, but at least it is reliable and not much worse than the ACTUAL time it takes to fly United. Worst airline ever. Barf."

Pros: "When I landed in Denver, I needed a wheelchair. The gate where I landed was a LONG way from the gate where I needed to board for my flight to Billings. The person wheeling me didn't think we'd make it to my gate on time----she practically had to run!! As we passed an agent, she asked if they'd call ahead to let them know I was coming. The agent told her they wouldn't hold the plane for me if we didn't make it. I don't know if they did, but I was the last person to board. Thank God!!!!"
Cons: "The person wheeling me to my gate to Billings couldn't find anyone on a cart who get me to my gate faster & on time. I feel that more of them should be available to those of us who need to go such a long distance to our next gate. We barely made it in my wheelchair and had I had to walk that distance, I NEVER would have made my flight to Billings. Also, agents should be able to contact a gate to let them know that a person is having difficulty getting to their next gate!!!"

Cons: "First of all I've taken quite a few trips and i normally fly Southwest. Southwest service is always great. I had change of plans and hadon't to fly delta; the crew and the pilot were very rude. I was in the lobby area and i was standing when the pilot of Delta passed by he bumped me and literally growled at me, the boarding process a crew member became frustrated with a family boarding. The plane ride was uncomfortable i am 6'3" tall and had no leg room or shoulder room."
