I spent more money to like where I was sitting. I’m so disgruntled at all of the airlines and their “efficient” cramming and packing in as many passengers as possible. I’m continuously panicked now due to claustrophobic feelings in planes. Trying to go to the bathroom and literally touching the walls as I try to move about is so disgusting. Bumping every single elbow and shoulder as I was down an aisle is so awful too. And I’m not a large person. Anyway. Clearly my complaint will change nothing so I’m not sure why I’m even writing this.

It takes forever to get out to the gate, and you have to go through Security, Immigration and sometimes a second more intense security (which we did). If you need to get your VAT refund on purchases, add at least ONE hour. 30 minutes to get the approval stamp in one line, and 30 minutes in another line to get your refund."

Pros: "It was worth while upgrading to premium plus for the first time I was actually comfortable flying the crew is always kind and caring and the food was. Better than usual. Unfortunately Heathrow employees board handicapped people and the are horrible. They didn't come to board us until the plane was 75 percent boarded which is just unacceptable for a wheelchair user who cannot stand. BA had to stop boarding to get us aboard the plane with the help of BA crew who are great."

Pros: "I loved the extra room in the seating, great seats too. Plus the personal TVs and movie selection was fantastic!!! However, 1/3 of the planes TVs did not work. Luckily, my row of TVs did work and we had an empty seat between my daughter and me , so when my son's TV went out he sat in my row which did work. Great plane, once everything is fixed!"

Pros: "My wife and I have flown on many airlines. This was one of our best experiences. All the staff that we came across were ridiculously helpful and very understanding. Despite us getting held up in traffic and running quite late, staff members of both American Airlines and Qantas were extremely calming and reassuring the whole way through. Flight was extremely comfortable and entertainment was fantastic. Made the trip really easy."

Cons: "One flight attendant in my section (23H), plonked food down on the tray with a curt, "passengers-are-a-nuisance" attitude. Her male colleague, when I asked about a spoon for the tub of ice cream said "It's there. If you can find it, you can eat it." I am a 71 yr old woman, and was shocked to be spoken to with such impertinence. Had I not already been travelling for16 hrs, having started the day in the Occupied Territories, I would have reported him to the senior person on board. I was just too tired."

Pros: "So there was a lot of turbulence because of storms and we ended up in a holding pattern over the airport and then stuck on the tarmac when we landed. The captain and crew were very professional, offering us all the information available and explain current plans. It wasn't the best flight ever but the people handled it professionally and clearly."

She asked for a wet towel and the flight attendant was snarky but went to get one without even looking or asking to see what the problem was. Her entertainment console wasn't working so they reset it but instead it reset mine (two seats over) they did this again and I let them know it was resetting mine. I was told that I was not in the seat they were resetting for ...I inquired if perhaps they should try to reset mine and see if it would, in fact, fix hers..it did. When she slipped off her shoes the carpet was soaking wet. This was a really crummy, crummy flight."

The air conditioning wasn’t working in the back of the plane so it was over 80 degrees the entire flight. The seats were so small I barely fit in them and for reference I’m 5’7 and 150 lbs. I will never fly United again
Good schedule, on time, no delays and made good time to our destination. Text updates were good and I like the Boarding passes in my iOS Wallet. Text showed updated info before the wallet so there was a few minutes of confusion. Only issue with flight was one of our landings which was so rough it startled me awake.

Cons: "My seat was broken and wouldn't stay in upright position. This really pissed off the passenger behind me. Crew kept telling me to put my seat upright, I kept having to tell them the seat was broken. Old airplane with no in-seat entertainment. they advertise on the seat that you can watch all their entertainment content for free, but then you have to pay for wifi to watch so it's not free then, is it? Every movie or show requires "additional software" so you have to purchase internet to do the download. This is an 11 hour flight, I would have appreciated being able to watch a movie or something without forking out $30. Flight was delayed, so we were low on time to make our connection. I asked a flight attendant twice if we could get help deplaning early or at least get moved up some rows since we were in the very back of a 747 (there were plenty of vacant seats). They said no, and told us that customs would only take a minute and that the other united flight knew we'd be coming and would wait. I don't usually fly united; other airlines typically will actively take steps to help (like moving connecting passengers to the front shortly before landing) if they are the cause of the delay. Customs had only one agent working and we were pretty much last in line so that process took over an hour. Just moving us 10 rows forward before landing would have made all the difference because our connecting flight closed its doors and taxied for takeoff less than 5 minutes before we arrived. They had some united employees guiding and directing a couple of passengers that were going to be late for a connection to LAX, but no help for those of us connecting to portland. Customer service didn't even offer a verbal apology. Last time I flew with united, I also had a terrible experience for different reasons. I did not intend to fly united for this flight, but I purchased tickets through and for Lufthansa, and this flight was regrettably operated by united. Another thing I don't like - the food was horrendous. It was a breakfast sandwich that was advertised as "hot and fresh" on the packaging but was served straight from the refrigerator. I was in the middle seats with one person to my left and two people to my right. Everyone took only one bite and threw away the rest. Just don't bother serving the food if it's going to be that bad, it's very wasteful. I always appreciate a hot towelette after a long overnight flight. United offered no such thing which was a first for me. Regarding boarding: they called us all up to line up in boarding groups and then we had to stand in line for 65 minutes. I have a bad back and had to sit on the carpet to avoid being last in line and not having space for my carry on bag. Would have been nicer if they would have just let us sit in the chairs at the gate in comfort until they were ready to board."

I had to spend the night in a crappy room at the Ramada while others on my same flight got luxury hotels. I got a crappy $20 voucher for food that only got me crappy over priced snacks. It wasn't enough for dinner and breakfast. Since my flight was delayed I missed and lost money to the circus. 1 had purchased tickets for my 5 children my husband and I for a total of $400. The show was at 11 am and I arrived at Richmond at that time. Your airline sucks. To make it worst on my way to Aguascalientes I got stuck in Houston for the night and half a day because yall delayed flights due to snow that never happened. I had to before for food vouchers because I had already gone over my budget with the delay. Overall it was a horrible experience."

My baggage did not reach with me and they promised to deliver it with in next 6 hours and it turned out that they took more than 18 hours to deliver my baggage to my home. My entire day got wasted waiting for this baggage to reach me. Poor communication made me wait and watch the door every hour. I tried to reach and get some information on when that baggage would reach me but no body knows."
