Pros: "Pilot made up time from Montrose to Dallas. 737 is more comfortable than some of the planes in use currently."
Cons: "Pilot or co pilot never spoke once. Was as if there was no pilot"
Cons: "flight was delayed two hours because they couldn't find a single American airlines employee to sign off on some log book.sat on tarmac two hours because no one could sign a piece of paper!!! so obviously we missed our connecting international flight to dublin. called american customer svc, they made us call british airways, british airways said we had to call kayak, kayak said we had to call American. thanks for all the great customer svc. this is why everyone hates flying and all airlines are garbage. then finally in chicago american customer svc desk said they rebooked us on a British airways flight the same night, we traversed (ran) the entire chicago ohare airport only to find out british airways said we were not on that flight, were completely full and we had to go back to american. literally had to leave airport to get on train to go back to american terminal. they swear we are now (the next day) on this aer lingus flight despite our inability since last night to try and check in to that flight because aer lingus website doesnt work, no one answers their customer service number and their ticket counter at airport doesnt open until noon. suffice it to say we are still not on a flight to Dublin, ive missed an entire day of a limited vacation, and i will NEVER fly american again."
Pros: "Awfully rude flight attendants Took multiple buses I guess American doesn’t pay good money to the airports"
Pros: "Regular updates from captain. I was very satisfied!"
Cons: "Little leg room."
Cons: "Lines are very long and the check-in staff are not good at their jobs. For example, I arrived 2 hours early and they ended up letting half the line cut in front, which made me barely make my flight."
Pros: "Considering the price we paid for our tickets is the the only drawback I keep coming back to when I think about the VALUE of what I paid for.the entire flight. The overall experience was good throughout; from the airport on both ends of the journey to the actual inflight experience. I'm not sure how much of an influence the airline has on the airport part of it all, but the check-in process was good. The self check-in machines for AA were a little "buggy" and difficult to navigate but helpful staff was readily available as were the short lines. I am 6'2" and was impressed that I had adequate leg room in my seat."
Cons: "We paid a lot for our tickets even though they were purchased months in advance. Then when it came to seat selection, there was none. Our party of three, which was husband and wife plus friend, were all seated separately. We could have opted for "pay extra" seating, but even that did not get us together, so we opted out."
Pros: "Went smoothly as it should."
Cons: "Entertainment system didn't function well but that could have been more an airbus issue."
Pros: "eh, mediocre but usual service from a US airline. Just enough to get you from point A to B, but you’re exhausted once there."
Cons: "too little leg room, and quite uncomfortable seats, couldn’t relax and was cramping from being unable to move more than an inch."
Cons: "Boarding at Terminal 3 gate A8 was slow and a single line makes for a lengthy process."
Pros: "Great aircraft, UK staff kindly assisted to get us family seating near each other"
Cons: "Flight network sent an incorrect name to the airline and i had to go under so much trouble the day before just to correct itz"
Cons: "Plane had not been cleaned"
Pros: "Flight crew very friendly."
Cons: "No entertainment so 1 star rating. Kind passenger switched seats so I could sit with my husband and son. Would have had to sit behind them if not for her. Paying extra for isle seats was a surprise."
Cons: "They misplaced my luggage and it did not arrive in Boston"
Cons: "The plane was older and seat room was pretty bad. Under the seats was more open though."
Cons: "Delayed. We were unable to change the flight to sit together. Staff not very helpful"
Pros: "easy on and easy off. ontime."
Cons: "a little more room between people and more padding in the seats. also delta used to have a screen in each seat and you could see where you were and how far you have gone and so on. could also see more and music."
Cons: "The seats are so uncomfortable"
Cons: "Boarding was delayed 30 minutes, with no explanation. Upon arrival, another airplane was in our gate, resulting in an additional 30 minute wait, buckled in my seat on the tarmac."
Pros: "Bad weather came in n I was rerouted on Time"
Pros: "The AC was set at the right temperature, not too cold, not too hot, just perfect! We got to the destination sooner than expected!"
Cons: "Pay to seat next to my husband, our seats were separate before check-in. Not happy about this."
Cons: "Flight was canceled, so our young family had to spend the night in the airport because they couldn't give us a decent option to get back home. Second time we have had problems with AA"
Cons: "I didn't get ANY flight status reports until I had arrived and was at my destination for the night!! American did a fine job. I got updates TODAY on my flight and baggage claim for yesterdays flight form you!!! Your service sucked balls!!"
Pros: "We boarded on time and arrived early. What more can ya ask for? Fairly easy ride. Free entertainment on board, movies and shows! Awesome."
Cons: "The speaker that the pilot used was static-y, hard to understand. No free wifi option. Rough landing."
Pros: "Friendly people, seemingly short flight, as I slept part of the way. A lot quicker than driving from upstate New York."
Cons: "Again, hard to hear announcements, and I was unaware that non-alcoholic beverages were complimentary. Ride was a little rough, awakening me numerous times"
Cons: "There was no food offered. The stewardess was not happy to be at work."
Cons: "Luggage did not arrive with us"
Pros: "The crew was very nice"
Cons: "Tvs broken for a ten hour flight. No power outlets for electronics. Unacceptable"
Pros: "A short flight that was even shorter because we arrived early. Luggage arrived promptly at Baggage Claim, too. American has flights between Chicago and New York practically every hour, which is very convenient. They might as well have a shuttle. Gate staff and flight attendants friendly and helpful. Love the upgraded individual consoles for the entertainment."
