Travelers 12 and over who are arriving from countries with PCR testing capability will be required to take a PCR test within 96 hours prior to travel and take another test on arrival. Certain airlines are covering the cost of this test whilst others may not.
Travelers 12 and over who are arriving from countries without PCR test capability will be required to have a test on arrival. The test costs USD $100 and is covered by some airlines. Travelers will be required to self-isolate, and must take a second PCR test 72 hours after arrival at their own expense. If both tests are negative, no further self-isolation will be required.
From December 22, travelers from the UK will be subject to supplementary COVID-19 measures in addition to the ones already in place. They will be required to take a PCR test at Beirut International Airport upon arrival (which is provided at the airline’s expense), and then self-isolate at their accommodation for 72 hours before taking another PCR test and wait in self-isolation for the results. If both tests are negative, they may leave self-isolation. The same measures apply to Lebanese and resident foreign nationals arriving from Iraq.
Travelers arriving from Syria, Turkey and all African countries, must proceed to their accommodation and quarantine for 48 hours, until they receive the results of a PCR test conducted at the airport.
Travelers arriving from Iraq must have a hotel reservation confirmation for 72 hours for either Golden Tulip Hotel, Kanaan Hotels, Lancaster Hotels, Radisson Blu Martinez or Radisson Blu Verdun. This does not apply to nationals and residents of Lebanon.
Travelers who test positive will have to self-isolate and follow Ministry of Health guidelines.
Travelers who left Lebanon for a period not exceeding one week will be exempt from PCR testing on their return.
Travelers are required to download the Government of Lebanon application "MOPH Ma3an" on their mobile phone and complete a health declaration form before departure, and must have insurance for their whole stay in Lebanon, which will cover in full the costs of medical treatment in case they test positive for coronavirus.
Travelers are subject to a 7-day quarantine. The first 48 hours of quarantine must be spent at a Government of Lebanon approved hotel, while travelers wait for the results of their PCR test on arrival. When they receive their airport test result, if it is negative, they may move to their accommodation. They must continue to quarantine at their accommodation before taking another PCR test (that they must arrange yourself) a week after their arrival. If both tests are negative, they may leave quarantine. Diplomats and their families, official delegations and UNFIL officers are exempt from the quarantine measures, as well as those who have received the COVID-19 vaccination, on the condition that they have proof of vaccination and take a PCR test on arrival as a precautionary measure.

Pros: "I had never heard of Qatar Airways before I booked a 24hr flight to and from Sydney, Australia. I only did this on the suggestion from a friend that stated Qatar Airways was "alright". So for the price I thought what the heck! I was extremely pleased with the service from the cabin crew. They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips."
Cons: "Other rude or snotty passengers taking up the crews time and attention for no reason. But as I stated in the "positive" side of this review, the crew handled these impolite individuals with a smile and polite attitude. Kudos to Qatar Airways."
Pros: "First time flying on Qatar and must say that the crew was excellent. One of the best crews I have ever flown in the last 22 years of New York - India sector. Special mention for HAIFA my hostess for flight QR702 on April 12th. She was the best hostess I have ever had!"
Cons: "The food wasn’t bad but since I flew Etihad in July 2017 from New York to Abu Dhabi to Mumbai and back my memories were fresh and Egihad’s food was definitely a notch higher."
Pros: "I fly a lot, and I notice when things go well. There is nothing I can complain about with Qatar; their equipment is up-to-date; their service is first-rate; their record for on-time departures and arrivals is excellent, and their food is good! I will gladly fly with them in the future."
Cons: "I am a very experienced traveller. I always book an isle seat, especially for long flights (this was 12 hrs.), so that I can get up and stretch my legs etc. The couple sitting beside me were upset that I did not take the window seat. When it came time to sleep, the wife stretched out over her husbands legs, who was sitting beside me. This meant her feet were coming on top of my legs, and her legs were forcing her husbands legs into my space, touching my leg - I had to put a pillow between my leg and his leg. I asked the Qatar hostess if she could please ask the couple to change their positions, so that my seating space was respected, resulting in no body touching. The hostess replied that she was not permitted to ask the couple to change their positions and be more respectful. Fortunately there was another unreserved isle seat and I was able to move. Due to the fact that airplanes have become cultural melting pots, thousands of feet in the air, I think it would be peacefully beneficial too all, if a very discreet announcement could be made at the beginning of each flight regrading seating etiquette, respectfulness towards others etc. this could also be printed in the flight magazine. Thanks in advance."
Cons: "Food was awful and two out of four family members have been sick. One on each flight"
Pros: "Best service ever from the crew. Flight on time."
Cons: "Extremely small leg pitch"
Pros: "Very professional ground staff and cabin crew; very genuine and trained well. However, the first class food is absolutely subpar. Entertainment choices were great though & the lie flat seats are fab!"
Cons: "The food"
Pros: "Service was on point. The crew was very helpful."
Cons: "Did not know what Vegetarian Jain meal should taste like! Even goats and sheep woud not have liked the taste of this special meal. Fortunately, cabin crew member was kind enough to give me a regular Hindu veggie meal rather than my pre-selected Vegetarian Jain meal (VJML) - DO NOT CHOOSE VJML on Qatar, unless you wanna faint from the horrible food! The tray was dirty! Co-passengers in the row behind me were also complaining The audio lead of my headphone would not go into the outlet in the seat armrest! So I had to use audio from neighboring (empty) seat and sync it with video from screen for my seat. What a pain!"
Pros: "Landing and botding is safe"
Cons: "light breakfast and light snacks for an 8-hour flight? come on!"
Pros: "Got upgraded to Business Class :-)"
Cons: "Not much of Movies options to watch"
Pros: "Let's just say there was nothing I didn't like"
Cons: "I have no comment"
Pros: "I liked the organized boarding prosecution, everyone was seated by the boarding zone so there were no mess and no fight over who gets to go first in the plane. the food was good too, again vegetarian options and very good quality. I"
Cons: "I did not like the entertainment because it did not work well!!!!!"
Pros: "Flawless boarding, service, food."
Cons: "We arrived 2 hours and 40 minutes late due to technical issues with the aeroplane. We were kept informed and we arrived safely, so this is a nibir complaint."
Pros: "Staff were polite and helpful. Flight was smooth and on time. Overall very good considering length of flight and difficulty of accommodating such a large crowd for such a long time."
Cons: "Meal service was very disappointing. 16 hour flight with one meal at the beginning, one meal at end, and a small, rather unappetizing hot pocket like sandwich in between? And snack offerings were ice cream, potato chips, candy bars and a few apples (ran out of apples). Need more healthy options. There needs to be a more full meal/snack offering around the half way mark if you are going to keep people from grumbling."
Pros: "Mi única incomodidad es que el vuelo iba repleto y fue imposible dormir en ese mínimo espacio de un asiento. Pero eso no es culpa de ellos, supongo..."
Pros: "Nothing really"
Cons: "Food was really bad might as well have junk food."
Pros: "The best service"
Cons: "Nothing bad to say"
Pros: "Quick and easy boarding and decent crew."
Cons: "Food wasn't great, but edible. No options for a vegan who didn't choose a vegan meal as the flight was booked last minute. Unhealthy food."
Pros: "Flight attendants are helpful from Doha to New York."
Cons: "Take the bus from the plane to the terminal in Doha. It was a hassle .from Doha to Dhaka was 3hours delayed without a notice."
Pros: "Everything was great except the plane from Doha to Beirut it was too small with no seat screens and bad c music channels and non-comfortable seats !! :( otherwise everything was great !! I like Qatar airlines and don't hesitate to travel with them again Thank you"
Pros: "The flight crew was polite. The plane was clean and comfortable. The food was well timed and delicious. They explained everything in full, and were extremely apologetic when there was one short delay. All of my planes were for the most part well timed (we had one short delay)"
Pros: "The aircraft was kinda old.. There was no usp plug to charge ur phone. . This was an issue for me. . I was out of charge and i wanted to make some calls after landing"
Cons: "I never made it to the Yerevan to Doha flight, because Qatar Airways did not get me to my destination in time. They had an emergency landing in The Azores, after turbulence and several passengers got injured, when the pilot failed to warn passengers to put on their seat belts and they flew into the air, hitting the ceiling before falling down. One passenger had a heart attack. Once they de-planed us in The Azores, not a single Qatar Airways employee helped us on site anymore. Passengers were left in the hands of hotel and airport staff. There was very little communication with the passengers. A relief flight was supposed to come in 12 hours. It did not come for another 35. After the emergency landing, some passengers noticed that a wing looked defective. The disruption may not have been due only to bad weather, but a defective plane as well."
Pros: "Friendly cabin crew"
Cons: "Economy class seats and the food table"
Cons: "I had to go through 4 passport inspections by Qatar, was that really necessary? 3 of them within 10 min. 1 before the security check at the gate, 1 after and one more just before boarding."
