I followed the baggage allowance explained on kayak website and on Aerolineas Argentinas. I took a bicycle which is free and i pay $100 to packed it as Aerolineas wanted. When I arrived it was a Delta flight and they told they don't allow bicycles and that i had to play $150. Aerolineas website and kayak clearly says that bicycles were free on my flight. I show the agent my ticket and that no where it said delta to consider what he was saying since it is an alliance but i was not informed about it. He said no and after wait there for a while before boarding i kindly ask to speak with a supervisor and the denied it and disappeared. I request a refund of my fee to you for providing incorrect information."

This was a hassle in and of itself, but the flight was also on New Year's Eve and ended up getting us to Buffalo about 20 minutes before midnight, which was a bit disappointing when I had made previous plans for the night. No luggage. They told me it was still in Chicago. Upon finally receiving my bags, I find them full of sawdust and sand, and several items damaged. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again, and I will highly recommend to my friends and family to avoid them like them plague. Horrible service! Nothing but a run-around and not once did the agents apologise, even after admitting that my problems on this journey were due to a mistake made by one of their agents."

I usually pick American over other airlines even if the price is slightly higher but after this last fiasco I doubt I will fly with them again. From the start of the trip there was a delay. I was told that I would have to stay in a hotel in Charlotte because I would miss my connecting flight. I agreed and waited for my flight that was nearly 2 hours late. I arrived in Charlotte and retrieved my bag as instructed and went to the counter. The lady then stated that it was probably best if I tried to get on the last remaining flight even though it showed sold out because "there have been delays all day and plenty of people have been missing their connecting flights". So I rechecked my bag and headed to the game. This flight was delayed, as it was the last for the night, so that all the connecting flights could be made. Okay, that is fair enough....even though I didn't get to board and now I no longer had my bag as this is now on the plane. 30 minutes after the plane left I finally get my voucher for motel along with a $12 voucher for food that can only be used in the terminal restaurants......which are now closed for the night. After 30 minutes of trying to contact the hotel for shuttle information I was advised that they were no longer taking airline vouchers. I , again, approached the ticket counter and I was advised that I "would just have to wait because there are no rooms in the system at this time." And none of this instruction seemed professional or accommodating. After another hour I was approached that now there are no other options in their system for accommodations and I would have to pursue options on my own. So......the higher priced one way ticket just became $100 more at no fault of my own."

I called and someone got my onto an earlier flight, but when we showed up at the gate, we found out she hadn't finished the transaction and now there weren't enough seats for us. We were supposed to land in RIC by 2, but by the time we got a flight (which was again delayed), it was almost 10pm. The only helpful person I dealt with was John, who took my call to get us on another flight."

Cons: "Was asked to check my carry on bag, because the flight was full. Meaning they sold the seat I purchased for my wife (who was unable to make the flight). I did so, but when I looked in the overhead bin after the flight, it was empty. When we arrived in Denver, I waited at the baggage carousel, watched everyone pick up there bags, until there were only 5 or 6 bags going around. I then went to a counter behind the carousel and asked about my bag. I was only then told that my bag had been there the whole time I was waiting."

Most people are very understanding of the fact that flights were cancelled or delayed because of this, but members of the UA were short with customers, making unprofessional facial expressions at people who were stressed out because they were trying to reach their destinations, and some staff was even ignoring customers in a long line to have personal conversations with one another or texting on their cell phone."

When time to board their was a line of 30 people getting new seat location before they could board the plane. A seat location I had for 3 months and checked in Ft. Myers 8 hours earlier was occupied so I was told very rudely to get in line behind 30 people to get new seat location. It took over an hour to board plane before take off. There was non English speaking customers who received no help boarding plane finding seats because crew was laughing joking with other passenger. They tried to put a non English speaking passenger in exit row. I paid $25 to check a bag to find passengers getting free bag checking at gate."

Cons: "A stewardess yelled to get my dad off the plane because he was "drunk". This was not the case, he is on medication and needed to take it. I was very hurt and embarrassed because I was already concerned for my dad and there were many people on the plane. It was disappointing."
Cons: "Outgoing flight was delayed by 18 hours. Cancelled my inbound flight and purchased a last minute flight with another airline and still haven't received a refund."

I will no longer fly frontier. I do have to say the staff we very kind and professional."

We had to take a detour to Philadelphia instead of NY to refuel, which took an extra hour and a half. They gave us no snacks/vouchers in the mean time. We ended up arriving at 10pm instead of the original arrival time of 4pm."

Cons: "I didnt like the fact that the flight was delayed and a notification wasn't sent to my phone. I had checked the status that night when I checked in and early in the morning and the system said that the flight was on time. It wasnt until I reached the airport and the lady behind the baggage counter told me that the flight was delayed for two hours. I went to go eat with my daughter at the Chilis restaraunt. I figired since the flight was delayed why not have some lunch and head to the plane an hour before take off time. I left the restarant and went through screening. One of the TSA memebers asked me why was I going in so early when the flight was on delayed. I let them know that the flight was suppose to be taken off in an hour so they let me through. As I'm walking through the terminla they have someone walking bu asking if anyone was getting on the frontier flight. I told them that I was on that flight and they told me I needed to hurry up because the plane was about to leave. I became nervous ans started running down the gate to make it to the plane. I'm running with a two year old so Im pretty sure that you can only imagine how difficult that was. Once I reached the gate I was out of breath and it was suppose to be eight minutes before we took off. However we sat on the plane for about another thirty minutes before we left. I feel as though the communication with the airline is not there 100% and if you are sitting in an airport you should be able to hear the update especially when they are not planned ir taking place at a time that is different from what was already relayed."

Cons: "There was no indication received that Frontier required a check in of 45 minutes ahead of the flight time. And even though I was 2 minutes shy of that time, Frontier crew still did not allow me to check in. RIDICULOUS!!! No other airline has this bogus requirement. In addition, Frontier doesn't give an option for rebooking for another day, which may require an additional fee (as other airlines do). The only remedy for missing a flight is moving to Frontier's next scheduled flight (that is, the next day for a trip from Atlanta because Frontier only has one flight leaving Atlanta per day). Of course, this didn't work for me because I needed to be in New York on the day of my scheduled flight. $200 DOLLARS GONE!! In conclusion, I will never book another trip with Frontier. Also, I will never use another source to acquire a ticket because that source may not provide me with certain requirements for the airlines it sells for."
Cons: "I booked because of the cheap rate. Only to find out at the airport that they charge 25 for carry on luggage...I knew they charged for checking luggage but for a carry on?! ridiculous. Adding those $50, price is the same or more expensive than other better airlines. There was no food whatsoever. Almost 4 hr flight and no food....the food they sell is basically snacks...not even a sandwich. The seats are insanely thin and hard. Entertainment? You have to pay for that. Never seen this kind of horrible service. I lost my flight coming back from NY because of the bad weather conditions. The airport was insane, we got off in the middle of the freeway because cars were not moving and started running. I left 3hs30 before my flight and still lost it...thats how crazy it was. Not only they didnt offer any help, they wanted to charge penalty and put me on a flight 4 days from then. Tried calling and explaining, no one cares. Never flying this company again"

Some frontiers are worth exploring. This one holds nothing but shock and dismay. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."
