Very short leg - too short for any meals/snacks or entertainment.

I’m biased. I work at the airport and within these systems so I know how to be effective. On top of that part though everyone was friendly and helpful. Both legs of my trip were on time. My baggage was handled with care. Alaska’s part of my experience was top notch.

The TSA pre check with photo linked to Alaskan airlines was extremely fast & convenient.

My suggestion is that they should provide USB-C charging ports for modern cell phones.

With saver fares on Alaska, you are treated like a 2nd class citizen. Last to get a seat-most likely in the middle. Last to board. By then all overhead bins are taken. It’s sad to see Alaska treats its customer like India’s caste hierarchy. I’m in Portland Oregon. So I have to Alaska. Otherwise, I wouldn’t fly on them again.

The flight was delayed by 2 hours for “routine maintenance”and because of that I arrived much later iso my Uber ride home was $100 when it’s normally $50.

The airport crew and on board experience was fine. The problem with Alaska air is that there is zero customer service over the phone when you’re trying to buy your ticket or change anything.

More or less, this seemed like a mismanaged group of great people who would crush at this job, if only they were given the resources to do so.

I enjoyed the feet space in comparison to other airlines. The snacks were also better, great service and the pilot greeted and said hi which made me feel safer.

I have Precheck. Flew HPN to DEN and return this past weekend. Delta didn't attach my Precheck number to this trip. So it was waiting in general line especially in Denver. Unavailable.

Original flight was delayed, then cancelled and the gate staff did not expedite rebooking. Also, no instructions were given that a ticket number was needed before being called to facilitate rebooking. This could have been much more organized.

Two delays on two separate planes with parts they could not easily find and replace.

Checkin was good, fllight ws good. Onlly complaint is lack of foot on 6 hour flight from Seattle to Boston. Snacks were flimsy - chips and cookies. could have offered something more substantial for such a long flight. I know you can buy food in airport but for the price you pay for a ticket, they should step up for the passengers.

The entertainment they offer could use some games, and maybe they could add some cookies to the snack menu. And the automated messages are a bit repetitive. But it was comfortable temperature wise and the seats were comfortable. The crew is very polite and helpful

I felt scammed. The priced advertised was different than what I paid. I paid the whole some online. I then got a call 20 minutes later saying I need to paid 70 more person. She said the price online is not the guaranteed price.

Delayed 3 times in a row for 4 hours total. Incrementally pushing back the flight claiming gate delays but they eventually changed the actual plane, due to technical issues. This strategy to avoid compensation to passengers is unprofessional.

I like the web site, prompt notifications, website checks in process, and airport check in. The flight attendants are attentive and polite. The return flight was 2 hours late and reason vine doesn't sound like an unplanned and unexpected issue (scheduled plane maintenance).

Our flight was delayed almost 3.5 hours (some of the issue seemed to be weather-related, yes) but NOTHING was offered as an conciliatory gesture for this delay. No food offering or any additional drink offering. There is no entertainment is available on any screen behind the seats. The airlines are so quick to penalize customers for slightest requests for comfort- seat changes, complicated baggage allowances, seating zones which are utterly dehumanizing (ZONE 9? after Zone 4- why? This is so clearly meant to be a message to those that do not have 'loyalty' to this airline to make a distinguishing line in the sand. There is such a lack of humanity in the way people are corralled in and spoken to. So, I don't think airlines should be all that surprised when those some dehumanizing corporate treatment is returned to them when asked. The flight on the way into Calgary was scheduled to arrived at 9:25 and we arrived at 12:45 AM. It is not okay. I would think TWICE and possibly once more before booking with them again. Their overhead bins are small and limited so they bully you into either paying for a $90 checked bag or gate check a lot of people's bags. Often on their website there is no carry-on bag allowance. Beware!

They cancelled and moved my flight with no email or text or any other notice. I discovered this only when I attempted to check in for my flight. Actual flying experience was above average.

Received an email a few hours before boarding that wifi and seatback entertainment would not be available. There was no explanation for this. We were served 1 x 20 gram granola bar as a snack (not even a full granola bar) which was really embarrassing. The crew was lovely (none of this was their fault) and the flight was successful, but the aircraft itself was falling apart on the inside. Our original flight was cancelled due to mechanical reasons. This cancellation caused us to miss our connection and we were not able to get another flight for 3 days and then needed to make an extra connection to get there. Air Canada did not rebook our flight for us, it took several hours of talking with staff in the airport and making phone calls to get the flights rebooked. We never received a voucher for our hotel and meals while we were waiting for our next flight and it was only after talking to several staff that we were provided some general information about how we could be reimbursed. We tried entering our ticket information in the website provided, but it did not recognize our flight information. When we asked someone on the phone about this they said we'd need to contact the customer relations department, but that it's not possible to reach them on the phone. I don't understand what company would have a customer relations department that you can't talk to. We spent about $1,000 for hotels and meals for our family while waiting for a flight home and I'm not confident we will ever get reimbursed for this. I understand that mechanical issues can happen to any airline, but this is the 4th time that this has happened to my wife and I on Air Canada and we have only flown Air Canada about 8 times, so this is not a good track record. Also, when we did finally get a flight home (which was also delayed due to mechanical problems), we were told we couldn't bring a standard carry on even though the information on our ticket clearly indicated that we could bring a carry on bag. The staff at the gate were not understanding about this situation.

It was very cold in the beginning; then I asked stewardess to do something about that, and she did something, so for the rest of the flight the temperature was closer to normal. It is typical: by some reason the pilots or whoever is in charge make the cod in the cabin unbearable. The seat is better than on WestJet or Flair, but is is very tight. No leg room.
