Pros: Alaska crew is so much better than the others. We will always fly with Alaska Airlines whenever possible!
Pros: Seats were comfortable. The food was very good. We pre-ordered a cheese plate and a wrap. A few weeks before our trip, Alaska Air changed the flight times, and we decided the connection time was too tight and so changed to a later connection. The agent we talked to about the change was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. It's a good airline, typically rated as the best or second-best of the US airlines. As far as we can tell, its high rating is accurate.
Cons: We originally had chosen our flight from Boston to Seattle to connect with our flight from Seattle to Sitka with an hour and ten minutes between them. However, Alaska Air changed the schedules of both flights, leaving only 45 minutes between flights. That is barely enough time to connect (the flights left from different terminals) if there are no delays. We thus had to change our plans not long before our departure to another flight to Sitka that left 5 hours later, forcing us to kill a lot of time in the boring Seatac airport. Apparently Alaska Air is notorious for changing its flight schedules. Travelers should keep that in mind when arranging flights and try to choose first flights that arrive soon enough that several alternative connecting flights are possible if Alaska Air changes the flight times.
Cons: My bag was lost, but I think that was more of an American Airlines issue than a Alaska one.
Pros: FA moved me to a better seat after seeing me stuffed between 2 other large individuals. Very considerate!
Pros: The crew was professional in every way,
Cons: There were a couple of individuals with oversized carry-ons that held up boarding as they tried repeatedly to get the carry-ons into the overhead bins. Utilizing a carry-on sizing tool in the gate area would have identified these two oversized carry-ons PRIOR to boarding and could have kept everyone safer. Instead, passengers behind the offenders were waiting while the bags were opened, items removed, and another attempt made at stuffing them into the overhead bins, all while passengers already seated were subjected to even more compromised social distancing in enclosed spaces.
Cons: First class seat broken. Didn’t recline. Crackers not food. $20 for Internet that’s constantly buffering??? Junk money grubbing company.
Cons: No food and seats broken 1st class leg and upgraded seating. I paid extra for broken seats that won’t recline on Alaska ar.
Cons: The wifi was challenging to use. Otherwise, it was a fantastic flight.
Pros: We landed 45 minutes early and the pilot took us over the mountains so we had an excellent view
Pros: Liked the WiFi and entertainment during the whole flight.
Cons: The fact that I really wanted some water and the stewardess passed me not even asking about the water. Just asked the couple across. So I politely waited to be asked too, and they just passed our row like we don’t exist.
Pros: Crew was great.
Cons: I dislike cramped, crowded seating. Alaska could reconfigure and lose a row or two to allow for more leg room and customer comfort. I wouldn't fly Alaska if I had another choice.
Pros: Great crew and smooth landing
Cons: Nothing all was well
Pros: Very friendly staff. Very convenient layover switch at airport.
Cons: Little personal space in seating. No video monitors— need to use own cellphone to view videos. Need to pre-order meals if you want them.
Pros: The customer service rep was polite
Cons: They cancelled my flight the night before claiming ‘weather’. It was fine flying weather at my origin, destination, and layover airports and forecast to remain so. All other carriers were flying. The re-booked me not on a later flight, but on the next day with not one, but now two layovers.
Pros: Wonderful quick flight!
Cons: All good
Pros: crew was amazing, timely boarding and deboarding
Cons: comfort and food
Pros: Even a short period of travel they are helpful and entertaining people
Cons: I just don’t like giving only a 1 pc of biscuit and a 1cup of soda or drinks for almost 6 hrs of travel. At least they must give a 1meal dinner or lunch and or breakfast
Cons: Uncomfortable flight due to turbulence. Hard seats. Majority of passengers checked in baggage were taken off in Honolulu before take off and did not make it to Anchorage.
Pros: service excellent
Cons: Alaska lounge sub standard
Pros: I didnt die.
Cons: That they fed me cookies all day. Better tasting water. Variety of free snacks.
Cons: On the leg from Seattle to Anchorage there was a significant time delay due to a “medical situation” I suspect a young female passenger had a few to many drinks and puked all over the back of the plane prior to take off. It happens and is really no ones fault but her own. I guess being the smug person I am I would like to see Alaska be compensated by the young lady
Pros: I always enjoy flying with Alaska Airlines.
Pros: First class is the best in the industry.
Cons: It would be better if this, the last flight of the day, left later
Pros: Entertainment was great
Cons: I thought I had reserved an aisle seat but I was in the middle when I boarded.
Pros: Always a pleasure when I fly with Alaska. Need to make this a regular thing.
Pros: That I get a free carry on
Cons: That I didn't know about the flight being delayed till I got there and didn't know exactly when we would board.
Pros: The lavatory was clean.
Cons: They changed my seats without telling me, even the day before my itinerary said I was in the first row of First Class by the window with my partner's seat right beside me and they switched it because of some policy that forbids dogs yet couldn't let me know that in July when I booked this and spoke to a representative on the phone to confirm I was even allowed to bring a dog on board. And even then they made me feel like it was not possible and had to stow my dog below in cargo because only one dog could be in the First Class section, and again I was never told that in that moment I couldn't have my dog in the first row. Also, the representative was very clear I had to have a health certificate for my dog to fly and not only did that cost me a large deal of money and time at the veterinarian's office, but no one ever even inquired to see it. I wasted time and money for no reason other than the incompetence exhibited by Alaskan Airlines, and it's surprising to have such consistent subpar service. Especially when you're paying for First Class. Also, your food on flight had several allergens in them. Even your choice of cookie for passengers had two different types of soy. This is a common food allergy. Needless to say, I'll be flying with another airline for my trips to Alaska, as this is not my only one planned.
Pros: In my flight form ANC to FAI the check in was seemless. I was given a bag for my car seat. I was able to check my pack n play no issues. Checking my bag
Cons: My flight back my cab driver was late. I got there at 530 first of all the baggage drop lady was rude and looked me up and down before choosing to talk to me. I was told they didn't have bags for my car seat and that I missed my flight. By the time I scheudled a new flight and made it through security to wait for my 9 am instead of 6 am flight the flight I was suppsosed to be on was boarding. Also when I checked my bags after being told I had to call the 1800# instead of use the customer service desk I was told that I had to pay for my pack n play. When it was not charged on the way up.
Pros: I was in first class so that's the better experience. I would have been even unhappier in coach.
Cons: Seat, despite being first class, was not comfortable I asked for a blanket before takeoff and was told there aren't any on board. No blankets for an 8 hr red eye??? No pillow either. Flight attendants never asked if I wanted another beverage after initial service. It was an 8 hr flight. The first class meal was a tiny cheese plate. I was starving. For a $900 1 way ticket, I expect more of this airline Flight attendants seemed like they didn't want to be there. Wasn't feeling the love. it was a 12:30am flight. We are all tired, but c'mon. Smile a little.
Pros: the seats were much more comfortable and the fans worked. I had a way better flight.
Cons: My luggage was off loaded in Juneau and staff was not very helpful in providing information on claims etc....Very disappointed with Alaska Airlines.
Pros: Friendly staff and crew. Will do whatever they can to help
Cons: TSA is a necessary unpleasantness. Would not want to fly without them, but still no fun...
Cons: Flying with my husband and daughter. All of our seats were split apart even after calling to fix the issue. When I went up to the counter, the lady told me too bad, she couldn't ask someone in an isle seat to switch, but I could do it myself if I wanted. My daughter is 2, can't exactly sit by herself. Food service didn't begin until almost 2 hours into a 3 hour flight but it was in no way due to turbulence. After food service, no trash service came around until about a half hour before landing. Slowest moving crew I have ever seen in my life. Also, the bathrooms were beyond disgusting. I will never fly Alaska again.
Pros: The flight attendants were extremely nice and informed us about the cool deals they have for ski season in Oregon and Washington. I will definitely be flying Alaska a lot more!
Pros: Cabin was nice and warm during flight. Crew were kind and easy to talk to. Planes ran on time too. Well done.
Cons: The fact that it's owned and operated by Horizon, which meant smaller planes were cut (via a corporate choice), off from having wi-fi. Seriously? Why only give a few planes wifi access and then proceed to market your flights including wifi?? It's rather deceptive. :( This is a let down and ethically kind of stinky!
Pros: The staff and everyone was nice and helpful.
Cons: The flight is noisy cause the plane is smaller.
Cons: My fought was canceled with no costumer service answeringvtge phone and I had to re book my next ticket
Cons: Customers should be made aware that animals are on the flight before boarding to safe guard against allergies.
Pros: It was a beautiful flight. Everyone was kind and accomodating.
Pros: Alaskas great cheese plate
Cons: The heat was high, we asked the male steward many times to request the heat turned down, people were removing as much clothing as possible. It was very hot and sticky and smelly. The descent to landing was to fast when near the runway, and we crashed hard like a carrier landing. I would inspect the gear and wing spats for cracks. The fuselage bowed like a banana, it was evident looking down the tube sitting the back. How about a breathalyzer or something, everybody knows the drunken pilots, the can't be fired and they know it, so it takes years to sober them up at our expense. The pilots who've been caught drinking are not trying to get better, they just whine that the others who haven't been caught yet are even worse drunks. Everybody who flys on Alaska has heard it from the same old Alaska born drunken pilots. How about less drunken bush piloting and get your drunken pilots who've been busted in the last few years to shut up and stop telling everyone that all Alaska pilots are drunks as defense of there drunkeness.
Cons: Not enough room in the cabin,
Pros: Easy transition.
Cons: You have to pay for food and entertainment.
Pros: Pretty standard Alaska Airlines flight. Crew was friendly, boarding process was smooth.
Cons: The new interiors on the 737-NG aircraft are fitted with vents which are pretty inadequate. They don't open very wide and then don't provide very much air at all. Headrests on window seats in the exit row don't move. Interior of the cabin was dirty. There was hair and stains on the tray table. No free in-flight entertainment. Since there's relatively no equipment cost to airline to allow streaming to personal devices, this is pretty disappointing.
Pros: Clean safe comfortable plane seats. friendly staff.
Cons: A small credit for miles as the Wifi didn’t work.
Cons: The man sitting next to me was coughing and not covering his mouth. I am especially concerned given the recent Coronavirus outbreak.
Pros: My flight got delayed twice. Had to get rebooked.
Pros: The Delta staffed were friendly and greeted me with a smile.
Cons: The temperature on the plane kept going in and out. It was warm most of the trip. The lady that was sitting in front of me talked on her phone until the plane went up in the sky. She would hide it when the flight attended passed by.
Pros: Friendly flight attendants. I appreciate the complimentary bag check for my carry-on bag to the destination.
Pros: Every was great, honestly
Pros: The agent at the bag drop was very helpful. We had two reservations and she took the extra step to call someone and helped check our luggage all the way to destination. Thanks for the wonderful service. Flight attendants were all smiling and very friendly. A very special treat that we got two snacks each which were very much appreciated as it was an early morning flight and we didn't get a chance to get breakfasts.
Pros: Crew is amazing, seats are pretty good.
Cons: On time, baggages checked in and were made available on time.
Pros: Use my built up miles for the SEA-ANC leg of our trip, as to physically price it out as one ticket usually increases the fare by 300-600 u$d depending upon time of year. As it was the tail end of an already long journey (OKA-ICN/ICN-SEA), booked the First Class Cabin. Every mile was worth it.
Cons: Food really bad on both segments.
Cons: The coffee could’ve tasted better.
Pros: The entertainment was nice.
Cons: If the screen wasn’t behind the seat. I could hear the tapping of the person behind me.
Pros: The crew was great. Flight was on time. Although crowded, boarded went smoothly.
Cons: Checking bags in Reno was a bit chaotic. Only one representative was there to assist when we arrived an hour before the flight. When others arrived to assist, people went directly to counter and were helped before those of us who had been waiting in line. My seat back screen did not work .
Pros: Flight attendants were very friendly.
Pros: comfortable flight
Pros: Amazing crew and clean cabin.
Cons: No video screen
Pros: - great customer service - friendly staff - Positive energy
Cons: - No room in the seats - No food served on plane - Crowded -
Pros: On time
Cons: Seats did not recline
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like.
Pros: Not crowded?
Cons: It's a 6A flight from RNO to SLC meaning you are up really early to get to the airport, checkin and wait. There's no Delta lounge, so you're stuck trying to find something to eat and somewhere to sit well before our flight. The exit row seating does help, but the seats didn't recline making it a bit more uncomfortable.
Pros: Although boarding began late, it was efficient and we left on time.
Cons: Even a 29 dollar Comfort Plus seat had very little legroom.
Pros: Everything was perfect, everyone was nice, there was lots of room, the crew offered snacks frequently, WiFi had a great connection and there was a wide array of entertainment.
Cons: There was a problem with the plane that they told us after we boarded that delayed our plane an hour. But hey, better safe than sorry!
Pros: Very good flight. Nice staff that seemed to enjoy their jobs. Great smiles and personable. Modern and clean plane with WiFi and charging outlets
Cons: There was a mechanical issue that delayed departure. Fortunately I did not have a connection to make. The crew made sure to communicate with everyone onboard frequently so we were aware of the situation and progress. They handled everything well which was reassuring for my peace of mind.
Pros: Flight attendants very friendly.
Cons: Being next to lavatory.
Pros: Easy to boar, no delay and arrived on time
Cons: One of the flight attendant was a little rude to some passengers.
Pros: On time, professional boarding, clean comfortable planes, skilled pilots and professional crew. What more could you ask for.
Cons: All good.
Pros: Alaska Airlines is way overpriced and way less comfortable than Delta. I’m a Delta loyalist forever now!
Pros: The plane wasn't cramped, the flight staff was helpful, and we got to our destination extremely quickly. And they gave us like two rounds of snacks which is unheard of on such short flights. Easily the best domestic flight I've ever taken.
Pros: We had terrible turbulence for probably 4 of the nearly 5 hour flight. The turbulence were the Pitts, but the plane, amenities, staff and amenities were top nothcj! Highly recommende Delta.
Cons: Bad turbulence
Pros: Flight attendants were friendly.
Cons: Coffee was bad and was luke warm!! It was very cold in the cabin and then really warm.
Pros: I LOVED the free movies. Great idea and newer movies. Finally was able to watch a movie I'd wanted to see for a long time.
Cons: Flight was packed which always makes for a more cramped ride. Again, boarding. Flight boarded late and just seems boarding from the back to front would be faster.
Pros: I love Delta. The crew members were very safe, courteous, and efficient.
Pros: The staff and crew were great help all along the route and the planes were well kept and clean.
Cons: One of the legs did not have the free wifi available, but they mentioned that before takeoff and were very apologetic that it had not been added to that plane yet.
Cons: When they called for passengers with infants and those who needed more time they also called for anyone who wanted to check their luggage. So of course people cut right in front of me as I was about to scan my pass. What is the point of asking us to come up if they are just going to let people jump in front of me.
Pros: The crew was really friendly and helpful. The plane was really clean
Cons: The boarding process was too long, there was a lot of people. It was kinda a mess. The sit assignment for people who didn't have sit assign was slow.
Cons: The air conditioning was broken so it was sweltering the whole time. Staff didn't even mention it or apologize. No leg room. Bags took longer than 20 minutes to arrive but we didn't make a fuss since we were just glad to be finished with Delta. I'll never fly Delta again even if it costs me more.
Cons: Late starts
Cons: Didn't stick to zones when boarding customers. Gate agent basically let anyone board during pre boarding and priority boarding, why even offer it if you aren't going to make people adhere to the rules.
Pros: Friendly staff/ comfortable seating.
Cons: We we missed our connection they wouldn't help us at all.
Pros: Free movies/TV is a great amenity. Overhead bins were full by the time I boarded, so I gate-checked my bag. The staff was helpful and accommodating, which made that process quick and easy.
Cons: Boarding is chaos. There's got to be a more efficient way than zones.
Pros: Low price.
Cons: Delta provided no information as to why the flight was late. No earlier flights on other airlines were offered.
Pros: Seated my husband I together (finally) at very back of plane next to window (not our preference).
Cons: My husband and I although booked together were seated in middle seats 9 rows apart. We atrempted to change our seats online at KLM (not possible), online at Delta (didn't recognize our KLM purchased flight), in person at KLM counter in SVG, in person with THE Delta rep at the check-in gate in AMS...no one could help us due to different systems used for seating for each company that the other one doesn't have access to. Flights booked by one company and operated by another seem common enough that this system needs to be improved. - Silver KLM travelers Also WAY too hot on plane.
Pros: Not much
Pros: My Delta flight from Salt Lake to Orlando was the dreaded redeye. Flight was packed, no empty seats. I had a middle row seat. But the plane was new and the seats were comfortable. The flight arrived early.I slept or tried to sleep the entire flight. No complaints.
Cons: Enforce your baggage size and number limits. A significant number of passengers take bags onboard that are oversized.
Pros: The crew was very nice. The ride was smooth. The landing was smooth as well.
Cons: The seats are too close together that I could not sit comfortably the second I sat down. Also we were told to social distance but we were all elbow to elbow so it didn’t really make any sense.
Cons: I always have preferred American Airlines but they seem to have constant problems with the aircraft these days. This causes delays and missed connections. This in turn causes no breakfast or lunch or dinner opportunities. I travel with snacks in my bag at all times now just in case so I won’t get sick for lack of nourishment or water! This last flight I missed my connection altogether and had to take a shuttle home, then catch a ride back to the airport to pick up my luggage and then get my car to drive home. It was 4 hours past my expected time home.
Pros: Flight left on time.
Cons: No charging points at seat and armrest headphone jacks did not work.
Pros: Great price!
Cons: More food.
Cons: Was not allowed to get on slightly early with a car seat and a 3 year old to get situated in the seats, though on every other flight we have been allowed to. There was a delay that caused us to miss our connecting flight.
Pros: Comfy seats
Cons: The crew
Pros: Seats very comfortable
Cons: No money for baggage registred
Cons: We sat in boarding in about 90-100 degree heat for over an hour. Everyone is drenched in sweat and should have never boarded.
Pros: Everything was good!
Pros: Gate check of carry-on luggage was nice. The connecting flight from DFW to FLL was on time and the boarding process was very smoothly executed by the gate agent. Well done!!
Cons: The flight out of RNO early in the morning was chaotic. One of the kiosks was down and the line to self-check was long and moved very slowly because there was only one agent behind the self-check baggage drop. She did well keeping up but there was a long line of unhappy customers due to the long wait. No snack was offered but I did get a glass of water. Not enough overhead storage for the carry-on bags because passengers get the luggage check tag but brought the carry-on onboard anyway.
Pros: I feel like there is more leg room in the seats then in other discount airlines! I like the snack and drink, this breaks up the flight a bit. This is nice for me because I don’t like to fly.
Cons: The staff seemed miserable. No one was nice or even smiled. Just felt like they couldn’t wait for this leg of their day/trip to be over.
Cons: In every segment they failed & just continually nickel & dime you.
Pros: We were happy with the selection of movies, tv shows, and games. The food options were nice - and the amount of meals, drinks, and snacks were more than enough to get us through the long flight.
Cons: The seats were a little small and cramped, but no more so than any other airline.
Pros: Short flight
Cons: Poor ratings for food Is result of not eating any food. No entertainment.
Pros: Flight was on time. Crew was very helpful
Cons: the staff were not knowledgeable on visa requirements at checkin in Reno. As a result my checkin took long at the counter. Small CRJ700 plane was cramped though fast.
Cons: I think things would run so much smoother if the plane was loaded from the back to the front. That way you don't have to wait as long for people to put things in the overhead and then sit down.
Pros: Flight box waste of money for sure. The middle seat was vacant and it was fantastic. We travelbwith a guide dog.
Cons: The boxed food
Pros: Automatic ticket rebooking
Cons: It being cancelled.
Cons: Delays without updates, rude flight staff, lost baggage
Pros: Good assortment of entertainment
Cons: Delayed so long we missed our connecting fligh. Then we’re left with no hotel room as everything was booked in Miami for the holiday weekend. It was a mess
Pros: Crew did the best they could considering the situation.
Cons: There were multiple delays, leaving half my flight with missed connections in Phoenix.
Pros: The people were engaging in Friendly the flight was very quick it was fabulous that way
Cons: How could you have a 4 plus our flight without entertainment or videos in this world anymore?
Pros: Both American flights (on Airbus 321, I think) I've taken in the past two weeks had comfortable seating with great legroom. My knees were not knocking the seat in front of me! Seat width also comfortable. Not sure how I lucked up on both flights!
Cons: delayed and missed connecting flight
Pros: Great attendants excellent customer service
Cons: Awful TSAs
Cons: I am a vegan; wish there were more meat free, dairy free options. Hummus serving in snack box was paltry and there was no way to spread it.
Pros: plenty of leg room. very little turbulence. fight staff was very professional. staff was very responsive to assist me in finding my passport which I had left on the plane after I had left the plane and gotten to my connecting flight.
Cons: I wasn't pleased with the snacks. I recommend changing to different snack options; perhaps fruit snacks or nuts.
Pros: Crew was extremely nice. I dont' like to fly and the take off was so rough, I spent the whole flight in the bathroom. The flight attendant gave me ginger ale and pretzels and let me sit in the back so i didn't have to go back and forth. The other flight attendant had aroma therapy that helped a lot but i was just too freaked out. Those two made the flight as nice as possible.
Cons: Very rough take off but that is mother nature not the air line :) Took off almost an hour late. LAX scheduled too many flight to land at the same time, Had to wait on the runway in Reno.
Pros: Clean, smooth flight, on time.
Cons: Small plane claustrophobia, entertainment required your own debice
Pros: Smooth takeoff and landing no turbulence.no issues at baggage claim.I boarded later and had to gate check because overhead bins were full.
Pros: Flight crew
Cons: Delay due to maintenance
Cons: Missed my connecting flight to to 3 delays.
Cons: Flight was late. More than doubled my layover time
Pros: We left 55 minutes late. Person at counter was annoying. Kept grabbing the microphone, think he liked hearing himself talk. Wanted to valet all the carryons but there was room in the airplane for them.
Cons: being late and uncomfortable seats.
Pros: Flight was one time.
Cons: It was a standard boarding. The standard ride. I have nothing to complain about
Pros: Flight research tools.
Cons: After choosing seats through this website we were kicked out of all of them and was separated from my partner. Every single flight we took was late and we missed a connection due to a late take off. The low cost was not worth the extreme effort and connecting flights.
Pros: Same as above "loved everything" excellent flight!!!
Pros: Boarding was easy & seamless
Cons: Had to lie about forgetting my phone charger in the waiting area to get off the plane & give my niece a hug who arrived early on a neighboring flight from NY to RNO as we switched off to take care of my dad who just had a triple bypass. If two people are past security - there should be NO ISSUE with them meeting - we have already been screened & a hug or anything else should not be a crime.
Cons: I still have not received my luggage
Pros: Medical emergency response and support was excellent.
Cons: No pre-boarding for infant. Straight legroom in 13D still had seat in front recline into my knees at 6'5". Extra legroom purchase did not provide any extra legroom. Need to know what seats provide extra legroom for 6'5" tall passengers.
Cons: Having to pay $50 to check bags when if I had been able to to Ak Air check in they would have been free
Cons: The previous crew did not do some kind of check so leaving Reno was delayed which left almost no time to get to my connecting flight. No one seemed very happy at all.
Pros: Politeness of the crew
Cons: Not very spacious and entertainment only offered at My own expense
Cons: Broken down seat cushion .
Pros: Quick flight (made up for lost time), good pilot, smooth landing.
Cons: - Delayed by 30 minutes or so at take off - Too cold in the cabin, no more blankets to provide - Overhead compartments were full so people with a luggage where asked to get back to the front of the plane to check in their luggage. Very inefficient process as there were still people trying to board at the same time - No in-flight entertainment
Pros: Delays caused a little stress but all in all a good experience.
Cons: Late arrival to DCA.
Pros: on time...
Pros: No one was sitting beside me.
Cons: Better snacks
Pros: The seat was uncomfortable and the flight was full. The crew was okay. Friendly enough.
Cons: Next time I will fly first class.. More legroom
Pros: The crew was nice. Quick flight.
Cons: They used a crappy old plane. The seats were very worn. It was obviously a really old aircraft. For first class I should have flown coach. No drink offered upon boarding. Just very minimal with the high price attached.
Pros: Everything was cool, smooth flight
Pros: Boarding and deplaning was organized and efficient.
Cons: The flight was completely full, including every middle seat. It did NOT feel safe to have a completely full flight during COVID. Some passengers kept on taking off their masks to talk to each other, completely defeating the purpose of the mask. I will not fly United again during COVID.
Pros: Plane was clean, newish interior and my economy plus seat was comfortable. I did take a red eye, and there was WiFi & power, which was a huge plus, but there was no seat back entertainment like on the way out. That may be by design so people are encouraged to sleep, but it still would have nice to know that want available on the plane. Was happy that a carry on and personal item was a trip option, that was awesome. Bathrooms were very clean. Communication was excellent regarding flight status, fullness of flights, upgrade options, etc.
Cons: Boarding on the way out was efficient, overall great, but on the way home, it was slow, tedious and at times utter chaos. There were several near altercations on the plane over seat assignments. The size water bottle passed out for a 5 hour flight could have been more generous. No food offered due to Covid.
Pros: All overall good
Cons: There’s no much to improve, beside the Covid19 situation, everything was good
Pros: I liked the fact that there were screens at each seat
Cons: I was extremely disappointed to be in the very last row and unable to recline. I had emailed and requested an aisle seat when I booked because I would need to express milk and get back and forth to the bathroom. I was told I would need to pay for the option to request a seat. Ridiculous! This was my first trip away from my 4 month old and I simply wanted to be comfortable. Instead I had to sit in the worst seat on the plane without even being able to easily get out to wash my hands before pumping.
Pros: A delayed flight, made me late for work, I cannot depends on this airline
Pros: The plane had lots of leg room.
Cons: Punctuality. The plane left the gate more than 30 minutes after scheduled departure time.
Pros: Courteous professional service Good landing Flight was on time
Cons: Food can be improved Better entertainment
Cons: Headphone jack did not work
Pros: I was able to find a space for my luggage in the overhead compartment
Cons: Seat outlets didn’t work. Flight attendant on the PA didn’t know what city we were flying to. Poor communication regarding reason for flight delay Flight attendant making snarking comments about if we get to their seats we do if we don’t we don’t.
Pros: The crew was excellent. They were professional, efficient and very accommodating. The pilot was also excellent. He kept us informed of the status of the flight throughout the trip.
Cons: The plane was terrible. The seats are so close together that you cannot move. The aisle is so narrow that one person can barely down it. Forget it if you have to pass by someone. The bathroom too is so small that you cannot move in it. It’s so uncomfortable. The new boarding process is just dumb. And to make matters worse they don’t even bother to check the boarding groups when you board. I had a person in a later boarding group in front of me and they let her on anyway — so what’s the point of having boarding groups. They should just go back to boarding from the rear of the plane first - that is the most efficient and quick way to do it. The so called entertainment is a joke. There is a very small choice of movies/TV shows to watch and that’s it. The free wi-fi gets you nowhere.
Cons: Seats were super small, people kept bumping us, and so did the crew, without even say sorry
Pros: The flight got delayed however, it went well once in the air. Some turbulence on account of the weather but the crew were very friendly. We got free TV on account of the delay.
Cons: Awful experience. Flight was delayed two hours, employees are rude and we got NOTHING on flight
Pros: On time
Cons: No snavks
Pros: It was fast and eazy!
Cons: Rare but we were forced to wait 27 mins in Las Vegas because there was too much "flow" or incoming planes to San Fran.
Pros: Received a text that the flight from Denver to Frankfurt is delayed 2 hours.
Cons: Delay notification message did suggest calling the airlines to make change nor stating that I'll miss my connection in Frankfurt. I assumed I'll be missing it so I called Lufthansa to make changes. Their attempts to help took too much time, they did not look tat the trip from origination to provide best alternatives until I arrived to airport in Las Vegas to find out that again they had to change the booking and issue a new ticket. This took more than two hours. Had I not was preemptive I would have been stuck in Frankfort for an extra day.
Pros: As usual, the crew was excellent. Very professional and courteous. The pilot kept us informed of progress throughout the flight and was also very personable.
Cons: NO RROM TO MOVE!! There is no legroom, no arm room and one person just barely fit in the aisle. If you are sitting on the aisle you are constantly getting hit by the people walking in the aisle and the beverage cart.
Cons: Had to pay 70 bux extra for a seat number. Also the outlet that was provided as a perk had an unusual fitting. Additionally, the adapter was not for sale.
Cons: Flight got delayed, they said "no one transfer will be affected " then I paid $450 for a flight with a bag on the cabin They made me check the bag! It doesn't seem a lot , but wen the flight got delayed landing at 6:59 and you have a bus at 7:10 to work makes the difference!
Pros: It got us from a to b but not much more to be said!
Cons: The idea of the entertainment system broadcast to your hand held device is fine - it didn't work for me though.
Pros: The crew was great and loved being able to board first with my baby without paying extra.
Cons: The five hour delay was insane and unorganized.
Cons: Tail # N75435 Boeing 737-900 .... not the best bird in the fleet right now. Took nearly half the flight to get internet going, and in-seat power was not working at all.
Cons: Very cool staring at the gates... only 5 of them and no crew to bring us in. Even the shortest flights on Alaska or any other airline had cabin service. No drinks and no snacks from San Francisco. Alaska had complimentary beer and wine on a shorter flight from.Medford to Portland and even Portland to Seattle, but United can't even get us to the gate... let alone have any sort of in-flight service. Why is this so expensive again. I would compare flying these commercial named flights to a horrible carnival. Lack luster, over priced and not worth it. Cans vs. Uber... the world is changing my friends.
Cons: Southwest has much better experience.
Pros: I liked that we didn't crash into snowy mountains. I like that we landed.
Cons: OMG. First class seat "broken" - wasn't really able to lean back because it went "too far" into row behind me. Nope - that's actually how the chair is designed. Was asked to sit upright the entire 7 hour flight. IFE spotty at best. It kept rebooting and kicking me and others out. I guess food was "okay" as I honestly don't remember it at all. This is my last of 10 years at 1K with United. Moving airlines this year.
Cons: United changed their luggage policy and because I booked through priceline/kayak I was not made aware of this new policy. Basic economy only allows you to bring a personal item on the plane, YOU CANNOT HAVE A CARRYON ITEM. Therefore they charge $25 to check your carry on bag and my flight then became more expensive than a different flight. Poor dissemination of information.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and professional. The flight also arrived early.
Cons: If you're going to offer personal device entertainment, you need to offer power outlets. How is that not common sense?
Pros: Boarding and crew attendants were courteous and helpful. Flight left on time and arrived early. Luggage arrived and my time inChicago was short.
Cons: Seats crowded but I was fortunate to not have a person in middle seat. Implied tv was free but system kept asking for my credit card.
Cons: The crew was kind and we boarded quickly however the seats were small. Which mean when your 3.5 hour flight turns into 9 hours due to weather this can become very painful. There is no entertainment unless you brought your own device and without a plug to charge it becomes useless quickly.
Pros: The snack mix. The power outlets underneath my seat.
Cons: The steward wasn't very friendly and had a curt attitude when I had any requests for water and a refill of water. I didn't like that you needed the United app in order to watch in flight entertainment. That should be specified before getting on the plane because had I known I would have downloaded it to watch movies. Rather you MUST purchase the internet to download the app once in the air and that was just frustrating to find out an hour into a 5 hour flight. The lack of snacks. There is no variety, I had no idea what I was getting and the offerings they did have felt very restricted. Leg room was atrocious. Especially because we had no overhead room to store our backpacks which meant we had to place it under the chair in front of us. I am relatively tall so I wanted to stretch out my feet under the chair in front of me but they had to straddle my fat backpack and the gentleman who sat in front of me was very large and he kept kicking and hitting my feet underneath his chair.
Cons: Ended up sitting on the tarmac for 30-40 minutes. Many people almost missed or did miss flights.
Pros: Staff were courteous and I greatly appreciate not being charged for a beverage!!!
Cons: The Denver airport was chaotic and the trains were totally messed up!!
Pros: Flight was delayed but arrived only 1/2 hour later. Check in was smooth. Plane was rather old and not enough leg space.
Pros: Flight attendants were helpful and friendly, even though it was an evening flight.
Cons: When we boarded we had been moved back to last row, contrary to our reservations, backs up against toilet cabins, not reclinable, and with reduced legroom. Good thing it was only 45 minutes. Also beverage service was so slow that most people were not served. Must be subbed plane. No tv/vid screen.
Pros: I liked that I landed safely on the ground
Cons: The cabin was not properly decompressed so it made for a very uncomfortable flight for my ears. Also the plane was cold, bumpy & just overall unpleasant. The systems were down while we boarded the plane so it took longer to board than usual.
Pros: Boarding process was expedited. Great leg room on Economy Plus- I did pay extra for that but it wasn't much.
Cons: Only got pretzels and a glass of water. No other drinks available
Pros: Connections were on time. Staff was nice.
Cons: Wish I had a shorter wait in Denver. I had a 3-hour wait between my Las Vegas landing and take off for Omaha. Very tired.
Cons: The plane operated from LV to Washington smelled like urine. Yak! The plane from Washington to Vienna: Food - nothing special. The new touch screan tv's are great to watch but terrible to feel. The person sitting behind me kept hitting buttons for 7 hours, so i didn't get any sleep at all. I was furious!!!! And exhauated. Will not fly with these airlines again nor will reccomend.
Pros: Amazing flight to Dulles international Airport. The United representative came up and saw that I was traveling alone and upgraded me to first class. It was the first time I have ever flown first-class. I was excited I didn't sleep at all so I can take advantage of all the programming that was on TV. I'm so very appreciative of the flight because I could enjoy stretching my legs out and enjoying a comfortable seat. The very attentive crew allowed me opportunity to quench my thirst with countless glasses of water and to watch and keep up with my sports programming throughout the entire flight. Now it will be extremely hard to ever fly coach again. I have flown United the last couple of summers and I have been nothing but thrilled with their service and their staff. Moving forward United would be the only airline that I would care to fly. Thank you for everything and thank you for my safe travels!
Cons: Nothing at all. Everything was amazing. United is now my only option for air travel. Thank you for everything United. My business will be with you for the rest of my days.
Cons: It was the last seat of the plane, didn't recline smelled the bathroom..very uncomfortable for 4 hors and stunk
Cons: We had issues with every part of this flight. The kiosk wouldn't find our confirmation, and it took 20 MINUTES to get assistance. The ticket attendant called the gate to let them know we were coming, then when we got to the gate (after over 30 minutes in security) the employee at the door stopped us and said we were "too late". The plane was still connected and the door was still open. We were there for 10 minutes trying to reschedule, and the plane took that much time to leave the gate. The gate attendants were very rude and tried to route us on a flight from Las Vegas to Chicago, then to Anchorage. When I questioned them, they put us on a flight that was 6 hours shorter, and arrived at the same time. They didn't even sit my husband and I together, even though there were seats available.
Cons: They offer no food on a 5 hour flight unless you want to pay extra money, they only gave one small bags of mixed chips, I feel on a 5 hour flight they should atleast give you something more then that. Also no movies on a 5 hour flight unless you use your credit card and pay, again on a 5 hour flight have something that you don't have to pay extra for.
Cons: The fact that the tv is on constantly without the option to turn it off is annoying. The viewing length to passenger is too short to really enjoy (Probably not your fault). PLEASE permit us to turn it off. The constant repeating of the Dish commercials while in dead air space is so annoying I will never consider Dish as a provider.! Please play more than one entertaining video than repeating the one about alligators (crocodiles?).
Pros: The staff was helpful my flight to vages was awesome they blew me away so really my high marks are for them the flight into Newark the crew seemed tired less engaged not rude just Kurt friendly yet short
Cons: Seats don’t lean back
Pros: Good flight attendants and pilot. Ground crew was not good. Flight took almost as long as driving my car.
Cons: Avoiding stupid delays like the wrong plane at the gate.
Pros: The crew was great, they were very friendly & helpful.
Cons: Lines to board are always long
Cons: Free water
Pros: I didn’t like a think since I checked in online and arrived within the 45-60min window to check my luggage. The system said it couldn’t find me. Frontier marked me as a no show before the time window closed
Cons: A full refund or they could’ve let me use that ticket price I’ve towards another flight equal to or of lesser value. What really ticked me off was I had to pay for my bags for them to turn around right after I gave them my card to swipe they then mark me as a no show getting even more money from. I will never use frontier ever again. I’d rather pay more money and delta
Pros: Denver Crew is RACIST, HYPOCRITICAL & CONTRADICTORY! Making mask an issue ONLY there not from RDU, JUST THERE IF YOU ARE BLACK
Cons: Not being RACIST PERIOD
Pros: Crew was wonderful.
Cons: Seat was not comfortable for me but I have a bad back so not that it would affect others the same.
Pros: The price.
Cons: The flights were full. Middle seat was not left empty for covid. Yet you would not provide a snack because of covid.I did not feel valued as a customer.
Pros: Because I was unwilling to pay for seat selection, I was prepared to be separated from my husband and stuck in a middle seat. To my pleasant surprise, the agents put us in the same row by ourselves.
Cons: Better directional signage in both the SFO and Las Vegas airports (arrivals). Las Vegas is a huge airport, requiring a tram to get to the passenger pick-up, even with directions it was confusing and not obvious. In SFO, half the plane walked halfway down the concourse in the wrong direction because of lack of signage and it looks like the right way to go. Drop Kiwi as a third-party for domestic flights, their customer service is clueless, handling charges absurd and flight requirements unnecessary.
Cons: Too many people on the plane during Covid
Cons: We really need free drinks
Cons: Crew could be better They should keep one seat distance between two customers They could serve basic packed drinks but there was nothing It’s not that they were not serving but they started charging
Pros: The crew was great. Frontier does not offer food or drink in flight. Included or for purchase. Long flight without a drink. No entertainment of any kind.
Cons: A drink
Cons: That my filght wouldnt have been 2hrs late
Pros: 41 minute flight
Cons: Customer service
Pros: The crew was wonderful. The seating was awful!
Cons: Sit 2 to a seat to social distance
Pros: Lol seats NOT comfortable but it's that "you get what you pay for" but that's ok the staff is AWESOME
Cons: Frontier is good for the price you pay. It would be selfish to ask for first class paying coach prices. Good when you need em
Pros: Social distancing seating. Good job frontier. Great gate staff.
Cons: Frontier charges for the first carry on after your personal bag. Aside from that, no issues.
Pros: That I actually landed
Cons: First of all. Our flight was delayed 3 hours with no explanation at first (after we boarded they finally told us). There was technical difficulties with the plane. They had to keep re-starting the planes system. It was June in Vegas. This shut off caused the A/C to go off. It got extremely hot. The flight attendants very rudly handed out warm water (no ice) to everyone. Only filled the cups a quarter of the way and would not hand out more. 3 hours after we were supposed to take off, we finally got going. After we were up in the air the flight attendants were extremely rude. Many of the passengers kept asking for snacks and drinks. We were all extremely hungry and thirsty from sitting in an extremely hot plane for hours. We FINALLY got service in time for our plane to start landing. We were then forced to promptly throw our drinks and food away due to landing. Didn't even get a few sips and a couple bites of my chips before I then had to throw it away. I will never fly frontier again. I can say that most of the people on my flight will not be flying frontier either. I never write bad reviews. I am an extremely easy going person. I understand plane difficutlies but the staff of the plane were extremely rude and did not handle the situation well.
Cons: I tried numerous times hours before my flight to check-in using the fly frontier website. It never worked. I arrived at the airport an hour and a half early. With bus delays, I walked up to the ticket counter at 9:24pm to retrieve my ticket. Flight leaves at 10:00pm. The attendant tells me I missed my flight by 9min because you have to check in at least 45min early and that there was no way I could board. I asked if the plane had already left, he said that it had not. No good answer as to why I couldn't be accommodated. I explained my qualms about the online check-in but it was pointless. I had to fly with another airline which costs me $367.00 to book. Terrible customer service and no leeway or understanding whatsoever.
Pros: The crew and captain were really informative throughout the trip and kept us updated about incoming turbulence. They were very calm and professional about it. We were a bit late boarding on but still arrived on time!
Cons: Nothing in particular was bad. You just have to pay for any kind of food or drink onboard so maybe take some snacks or water beforehand. The seats also don't decline. Again, not a big deal to me so it was good overall. Also, if you actually read their website and pay attention to the numerous emails they send you, they TOTALLY mention that you have to pay for a carry on. So just book it online and save yourself the money, it's like $25 for a carry on and $30 for a checked bag. Plus, you should be looking at all that info before you fly, regardless of the airline.
Cons: Alexa assured me it would not be a big deal to not be on the exit. But then they told me that the flight was oversold and that I may not be able to board that flight after I let them know that I run a business and I needed to be on this flight home and that I did not mind being the exit person if it meant that I had to get on this flight. I then proceeded to call my mother but when I raise my phone to the ear Alexa then proceeded to make a scene in front of all the other passengers saying that she did not wish to have her picture taken and then began to laugh with another co-worker making me feel very uncomfortable I will never fly with your airline again.
Cons: At no time was I made aware during my booking that they were going to charge for a carry on. It ended up adding $75 to my flight. Paying extra for sodas and for your seats. Seats that made riding a city bus seem like first class. The plane seemed like they bought it at the used plane lot, it even made noises in Flight that sounded like they had to restart the engine. Flight attendants that were rude and unhelpful. I'd rather spend the extra $ for a more dependable/reliable airline that doesn't run their business a la carte.
Cons: Crew never approached us to ask us if we needed anything and most just sat, talked amongst themselves and kept to themselves the entire flight. Seamed disinterested. Crew on incoming flight, 1115 were the worst ever! Female Flight Attendent verbally ridiculed a passenger to the other attendents who was a bigger husky man who was having a difficult time closing his seat belt. Very unprofessional and I will not use your airline again. Another Male Flight Attendant would not wait a few swconds for a passenger to gather his trash, got disgusted, made some type of remark and just turned and walked away. Never returned.
Cons: Staff was rude, showed no empathy and showed a genuine lack of really trying to help. Claimed the earliest that could get on a plane to final destination was Friday (5 days). Said the reason was the flight crew had timed out but it took hours to get that answer and they could not help with accommodations. The only thing would be to schedule for Friday or give a full refund from what was paid for the entire trip. Took the full refund and booked a oneway trip on another airline for twice what originally paid for the round trip ticket. Worst experience with any airline. Ever!
Pros: The staff are friendly and professional, for the most part. Check-in was easy and I wasn't hassled about my 'personal item' being too big, which I was sure it was.
Cons: Firstly, I'm pretty sure that the planes Frontier uses are re-purposed prison planes. The seats don't recline and are uncomfortable as all get-out. They cram you into some kind of military stress-position that ensures you won't sleep, won't be comfortable, and will be reduced into an unsmiling pile of compliance. Secondly, Frontier charges for *everything* - carry-on? That'll be $40-$60. You want a soda? That'll be $2.00. Snack? Yep... pay up, sucka. Water's free, thankfully. That said, the price was right and the flight was mercifully short; so I'd probably do it again. Because I'm a sadist, apparently.
Cons: You have to pay for everything. It was $45 to check a bag, and $40 to store a bag in the overhead compartment. My husband and I would have had to pay an additional $30 to sit next to each other. On the flight out, the stewardess asked us if we wanted to buy any food or drinks, but never offered even free water. The seats are horribly uncomfortable. I was in the middle seat on a red eye, and I was so cramped and sore, I couldn't fall asleep for more than a minute. I landed feeling exhausted, sore, and miserable. This was my first and last time flying on Frontier.
Pros: Flight was at a low price and convenient.
Cons: Mobile app was not working correctly and a ticket agent helped me purchase there at a discounted price. On the way back the ticket person didn't help at all and said she knew they were having problems with the mobile app. Said she could do nothing and quickly gave me a customer service number to call. Wow that was really effortless. If you have an app to purchase at a lower price for carry on and it is not working then have a back up plan to help you customer get what is advertised. Like it was a bait and hook. Besides that everything else was OK.
Pros: Prices we're good. The on flight staff was friendly, it's unfortunate that you have to pay extra for non alcoholic drinks and carry on bags. Gone are the days of cheap flights AND honey roasted peanuts. But I guess that's the trade off for cheap airfare now a days.
Cons: On our departing flight my husband and I had gotten us and our 4 kids up to the gate only to realize I had forgotten to add my lap child to my ticket. I get that it was not convenient but the lady was very short and rude and angry with us, she treated us like complete idiots. While it was an unfortunate thing to have slip my mind, it happens! I was bound to forget something when packing and prepping for me and 4 kids to travel. We offered to show our post on Facebook when our daughter was born as proof of age. But she gufawed that ridiculous idea. Because obviously we could have set up fake accounts and hacked the dates to make it look like our kids was under 2!! Really!?? A social security card doesn't even show birth dates. Anyway, the whole charade left us feeling very embarrassed, frustrated and like we were criminals or something. She handled things very unprofessionally and showed us no empathy whatsoever. She told us we would not be allowed onto our return flight without a ss card or birth cert. Which we got when we reached our destination. Upon boarding for the return flight the workers were great. They let us right on the flight and didn't even ask for the birth cert. or anything. They used common sense. Which is what I wished this other flight attendant had more of.
Pros: The flight attendants were very helpful.
Cons: Other than paying for the actual ticket, which was NOT cheap (approx. 40% more than getting there AND it was a "red eye" to boot) everything else was an "add on".....pay for "carry on", pay for seat assignment, pay for coffee......everything was extra. On top of this, most of the seats did not recline and had very little padding.........I guess you could pay for reclining seats. Although the Exit seats were empty, you could not sit in them unless you paid for them. My wife's reading light did NOT work.......I guess she didn't pay for the light!!! The flight attendant apologized and said it's been on a work order to fix and offered to provide another seat ONLY for her!!! I'll NEVER fly Frontier again.
Cons: I've never had the best flights with Frontier. Every flight I've had scheduled has had a huge delay, and their landing are absolutely ***the worst*** -- when an entire cabin of passengers cheer on a successful landing, it's pretty rough. The carry on cost came at a bit of a surprise, there needs to be a better means of creating awareness for that. Even beverages or snacks on the plane. Bottom-line, it just feels like, "you get what you pay for" in a cheaper airline. Scary landings, delayed flights (with no courteous representatives that explain anything or help a situation), and overcharges on every item the second you start checking in. At the end of the day, I could have flown a more reputable airline and spent the same amount of money -- and felt safer. Which is advisable at this point.
Cons: Flight was late for boarding. No updates were given as to why or what was going on. The gate agent looked like she had a miserable day and did not offer a customer service attitude. Once on board the seat didn't recline and was hard as a rock, not ideal for a 4 hour flight. The flight attendant (Christine) was short tempered. Crew lacked basic soft skills. This was the first and I am pretty sure the last time I will fly on frontier. While I appreciate the low fares I did not expect the low level of customer service or all the extra fees that are tacked on for seats, checked bags and a drink onboard.
Cons: You get what you pay for. Always bring an empty water bottle to fill up once you clear TSA security because I don't think they provide you with water on the plane. The seats also do not recline. And it's actually cheaper to check a bag ($25) than to bring a carry-on ($30), so I didn't pay for either and instead brought only a big backpack stuffed pretty fully, and it fit under the seat. My return flight was 3 hours late and I wasn't even notified until the original time we were supposed to board.
Pros: The Customer Service telephone agent and the check in/baggage drop agents were all very nice and helpful. The pilots did an excellent job of providing an uneventful, peaceful, safe, and gentle flight. Takeoff and landing were great on both the inbound and outbound flights. I was able to get to my destination and return home safely on both flights which was my major objective.
Cons: At least 1-2 flight attendants on both flights, in general, were quite rude and seemed uncaring at times to the needs of some of the other passengers. From chewing and smacking gum, using their cellphones while standing in the aisles amongst the passengers during boarding, and appearing quite irritated/short when interacting with passengers, it seems to me customer service was not a big priority in their training course and/or job requirements. I sat in an "upgraded" ($16 extra), economy, aisle seat, not located immediately in front of or in between the window exits on my outbound flight and in a middle, non-upgraded, economy seat near the back of the plane on my inbound flight. Neither seat was able to recline and both were quite rigid and almost painful to sit in during the flight. I have flown many times throughout my 46 year life, but these had to be the most uncomfortable seats I have ever had on a flight. I understand about saving money and using a no-frills airline carrier, but I think some of the issues mentioned could have been improved without adding any increased cost.
Pros: The price of the flight was great, until I realized I was being charged for every little thing. What a rip off! I should have flown United.
Cons: I had a severe allergic reaction due to the passengers in my row carrying four cats. I had to take Benadryl and broke out into hives. The flight attendants didn't even offer to move my seat. It was a truly terrible experience and I can't believe that there's not a better protocol in place with the airline to accommodate customers with severe allergies to animals, even when they are labeled as emotional support animals. This as a truly terrible experience. Thank goodness the flight was only 4 hours. I'll never fly Frontier again.
Pros: The fact that I got there safely. The seats, the screaming kids, and the especially the kid that the parent did not have in control and was running down the isle when we were in landing position, the captain sitting in front of my other half looked at him and told him to go sit down, my colleague say next to them the parent did not have him buckled up because he said he did not like it! Needless to say my friend was all flipped out after we landed! We had to calm him down! Oh well.
Cons: The fact that you pay for a ticket then you have to pay for a seat then you have to pay for a checked bag, then you have to pay for a carry on if you wanted to bring one, then you have to pay $2 for a soda which I do not drink anyway, pretty soon you'll have to pay to get a cup of water. Im glad I can bring my own water on the plane. And my own food. 2 Hours the desk opens before a flight? the line was crazy. I will never fly Frontier again. many people I spoke to said the same thing, they wont either. I will fly southwest even if its more expensive because by the time you spend for all these others items your over what you would have spent with Southwest. Thank you.
Cons: I thought I was getting a deal. I got a cheaper flight than the competitor and then they charged me for everything they could.30 bucks for luggage under 50lbs, an extra 40 for a single pound over 50. 40 bucks for a carry on and no free drinks but they will pour some water into a cup for free. I spent the extra money for the front three rows because I'm 6 feet 4 inches and there is extra leg room in the front. I get there and and they say "oh, those are reserved." I said "yeah, I reserved them." I get screwed out of that seat so they try to give me a credit for an airline I will never use again. I got my 30 dollar luggage checked in for free instead of the 50 dollars I spent for the seat. Then!!!!... The SAME thing happened on the way back!!!!! The seats are comaparible to a 100 dollar go cart seat and I had to become a yoga master to use the bathroom, which is due to my height but just icing on the cake or dirt on my mud pie. Spent the extra money on free luggage, padded seats and competency.
