Ontario airport is always easy to access, quick security lines, organized airport.
LisaFlew with Allegiant Air-Jul 2026
Pack plenty of snacks, fill your water bottles pre-flight, bring in flight entertainment (book or download a game you can play on your phone) and order the aisle seat for additional leg room for comfort. There is no complimentary snack or beverage options, no in flight entertainment options, and the seats do not recline.

Be aware that E gates aren't always on terminal 4. That was very confusing. And sometimes they send you to F and G gates to go to an E gate.
MayeFlew with American Airlines-Mar 2026
Allow more time between connections, I almost miss my flight as terminals in Dallas are far away from each other.
CharleanFlew with Delta-Mar 2026
Get to the airport early and plan ahead.
GeorgeFlew with Spirit Airlines-Jan 2026
Best flights for comfort are with Delta and American Airlines. They also allow one carry-on for free. Spirit and Southwest flights are usually cheaper, and less comfortable seating. Spirit charges for each bag(excluding a small personal bag).
MelodiiFlew with Frontier-Mar 2025
It is a good idea to find out if your flight will have Wi-Fi, so you can plan out your communication options for the flight.
MichaelFlew with Southwest-Jan 2025
It’s a quick flight and sometimes turbulent leaving the desert. You may not get drinks service due to the brief flight time and safety measures.
ShaneFlew with Spirit Airlines-Dec 2024
Know what events are happening in the city traveling too, too many major events in one area causes major delays at TSA checkpoints.
Verified travelerFlew with Frontier-Feb 2025
If you're gonna fly an ala carte airline, make sure you add the bag when you purchase the ticket otherwise you'll spend half of your travel money just so that your luggage can accompany you on your trip.
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Nov 2024
Check in online, it helps with faster processing at the check in counter
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Sep 2024
Make sure you know the baggage rules, don’t bring more than you need, and if you get a rental car, know that people target them for break-ins. Never leave anything in your car. Going in for a snack? Take your bags. Basically, drive to your hotel, take the bags out immediately and put them in your room, and try to leave nothing in the car ever. It’s not always this bad, but they spot rentals from a mile away. Be smart, be safe.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Nov 2024
Be aware that asking to check your carry-on at the ticket counter will cost you. I was trying to - get ahead of the request at the gate to check carry-on. Flying from PDX to Vegas, I didn't have to pay for checking my carry-on at ticket counter.
MirelleFlew with Spirit Airlines-Nov 2024
Don’t book if you don’t wana pay extra for choosing seats and bags. Bring your own beverage and snacks, or you’ll pay for that too.
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Oct 2024
Bagging policies are horrible. Make sure you can get everything in a small backpack to get the cheapest price.
ElianaFlew with Spirit Airlines-Sep 2024
Bring a backpack to avoid a ridiculous charge
nellieFlew with Spirit Airlines-Aug 2024
Southwest is doing best currently for direct flight/ I usually fly united I miss midwest express and the cookies Why don't planes board from back to front? It would be 100x more efficient and faster.
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Jun 2024
Make sure you check in before your flight for proper gates because they like to change gates (which can be clear across the airport) and not even mention it over PA.
BeverlyFlew with Spirit Airlines-Jun 2024
Take a small blanket it’s very very cold on plane. Take your own snacks to expensive on plane
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Jul 2024
Pack very light or pay for luggage. Very strict policies.
Verified travelerFlew with American Airlines-Aug 2024
Do not check a bag if you can help it. Will set you back $40
Verified travelerFlew with Southwest-May 2024
Leave plenty of time to get your bag in Chicago if you check one. Took 45 minutes to get my bag this time.
도환Flew with Delta-May 2024
Fill the water bottle before you get one the plane.
KellyFlew with Alaska Airlines-Apr 2024
I took Spirit to Vegas and Alaska home. First time flying Spirit, which was Spartan, had uncomfortable seats, the rows were thinner than Alaska, and they give you absolutely nothing on the flight. Not even water. So definitely take care of yourself if you’re flying spirit.
StephanyFlew with Frontier-Mar 2024
Don't buy anything at the airport. Many people paid 100 dollars extra cause they couldn't fit it in their luggage. Or carry on or purse or backpack.
JosephFlew with Delta-Feb 2024
Your seat selection may be changed at check-in and you may not be able to change your seat to what you originally selected while booking so be aware of this possible issue.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jan 2024
bring fully charged phones/devices since you won't get any outlets or charging ports; have a full belly and/or bring snacks bc 1 out of 2 flights had zero snacks
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Feb 2024
There will be additional charges :- select seats, checkin or carry on luggages, food or drinks. Not suitable for big size passengers unless you pay extra to sit on the front two rows

It would have been better if the flight was on time

It was good. Last flight was delayed but I always say that is in God's plan

It was just okay, no frills, basic transportation with no luxury. No screens on the seats, no water or drinks on a short flight. Full flight but at least it was on time.

Plane was clean and comfortable. Flight attendants and gate staff were professional, friendly and efficient. Boarding and deplaning were orderly and efficient. All in all, the typical excellent Southwest experience.

The seat was not comfortable. 1D. My back was sore all night and the next day.

The new boarding process was easy and straightforward. Very pleasant.

It was as expected and I was grateful for the wheel chair help and ease of use.

No food or entertainment, just a quick 40 minute flight. A little bumpy due to Santa Ana winds but pilot has no control over that. Good flight and landing!

WiFi did not work. Boarding with the new seating assignments took too long. The temperature in the terminal was obnoxious. +/- 80°

Paid for premium extra leg room but the bin space for rows 1-3 had to go in rows 4-6 and 4-6 had to go to 7-9 because flight attendants have snacks and their luggage upfront. So we pay extra to have to fight thru traffic to get our bags. Only 2nd day of new seating so hope they fix this.

Fabulous! This was the first time we've flown with JetBlue and the entire experience was flawless!

First time flying JetBlue and my perception changed. Love it.

Poor, had a 5+ hours delay. Kept sitting in the aircraft with three kids. It was terrible

The plane was filthy and worn - the seat pockets were stuffed with tattered food and torn pamphlets. The cleaning crew that came on as we were deboarding were grabbing handfulls of trash and perfunctorily wiping down tables with dishrags. It's been a while since I flew Jetblue and it used to be a great experience. After this flight I will avoid flying Jetblue again if there is any alternative.

I have flown Jet Blue many times between JFK and SFO. I appreciate how clean the planes are, the ability to select my onboard entertainment and the flight crews have always been amazing! Unfortunately, my trip from SFO to JFK on August 23 was unusual. I arrived early at SFO for the 12:00 noon scheduled boarding. The flight was supposed to take off at 12:45pm but after sitting for a while, the plane had to return to the gate to have a generator inspected. After deplaning and then reboarding, we eventually took off around 3:30 pm. It was explained to the passengers that because the plane was using a backup generator, additional fuel was needed and the flight would take longer than originally scheduled. We were originally supposed to arrive at JFK at 9:32 pm but instead, arrived at midnight. Unfortunately, I was exhausted for the funeral I attended the next morning. As a passenger, I have always expected that the plane will be in good mechanical order and that all parts will function as expected. I'm not entirely certain that if I fly Jet Blue in the future, that I will have the same level of confidence that I had become accustomed to. Thanks for the opportunity to provide this feedback. I liked the punctuality, the crew, and overall the whole flight

Boarding was fast, easy, and we landed early. The entertainment system was very buggy and kept resetting throughout the flight.

Flight was good wish there were more snacks options for such a long flight but stewardesses were very pleasant as was flight crew.

I paid extra for a seat closer to the front. The TV didn’t work at all for the entire flight. Would have been nice to know before I purchased an “upgraded “ seat

Did not enjoy this flight at all. All of my coworkers flew delta and I chose JetBlue because I really value how simple the WiFi and entertainment is and this flight I didn’t get either. Crew staff was unsympathetic to my system not working, everyone I asked for help with was extremely bothered by my request for help.

Tiny seats, no entertainment, no amenities, delays, they charge for carry on and their allowed personal item is smaller than in other airlines.

Frontier.. nickel and dime add-ons. Flight late, on time, late again, last minute gate change, arrival gate required a shuttle to the terminal. They sure keep you guessing.. if you like a little chaos and airport anxiety, this is the airline for you!

baggage clamed had to wait over a hour and half for all people on my flight it was terrible

Both legs of the flight were changed. The day of the flight and length of the trip.

First of all, we never got on the connecting flight to Denver. They delayed our flight for two hours. If we would have gotten on that flight, we would have been stuck in Denver for 13 hours. So we re- routed our flight for a straight through flight to Oklahoma two days later. THEN, they delayed that flight for two hours. After that we were able to finally get on our flight and come home. Frontier Airlines - one of the worst airlines I have ever been on.

The worst flight of my life. Never will I fly frontier again

The plane was comfortable. The time to board was way too slow and very unorganized! The crew was not as friendly as normally. The was not a single time that they offered water nor anything!!!

This was a full flight and I was in Zone 1, however upon boarding, several other zones went in ahead of me, leaving no overhead cabin space near my seat. This created a challenging disembarkment process.

food not having to pay for it, reclining seat would be nice, more leg room, HEAT!!!!!!!

An absolutely fraudulent experience. Extremely unprofessional. Terrible in all ways possible. Rude staff, flight attendants, and deceptive "policies."
