ASSISTING A PASSENGER WITH A TRANSFER TO ANOTHER DELTA FLIGHT AFTER THE FIRST ONE WAS DELAYED IS "NOT A GUARANTEED SERVICE". Seriously, it is basic courtesy!"

Cons: "Flight was delayed....3 times(more?) from late at night to early morning the next day. Delta Help Desk rescheduled me and got me a room at Howard Johnson’s for the night. Called HoJo’s to confirm they had non-smoking rooms available. Got on the hotel’s shuttle bus and the driver announced that HoJo was full and all voucher holders would go to Rodeway Inn but those without vouchers would go to HoJo....huh!?? Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there."

Cons: "Unexplained delays, lack of transfer services (there was no separate connections security screening; passengers were required, after a redeye flight and customs, to switch floors and stand in long lines with general security. Also, no beverages of any kind were offered."

Cons: "It's a 6A flight from RNO to SLC meaning you are up really early to get to the airport, checkin and wait. There's no Delta lounge, so you're stuck trying to find something to eat and somewhere to sit well before our flight. The exit row seating does help, but the seats didn't recline making it a bit more uncomfortable."

Unfortunately, our seats on our original connection were released so when we arrived at our gate our only option was to split up and take middle seats - even though we had paid over $100 ea. for upgrades. Delta offered nothing for this. One of the flight attendants was in a terrible mood - she was cold and rude and would not even look at passengers - which her fellow crewmates noticed and tried to compensate for."

Pros: "Where the flight attendants on my AeroMexico portion were authentically compassionate, the flight attendants for delta were superficial. The flight attendant,while serving us drinks, started saying what great passengers we were but her flight from Dallas the day before was definitely a feeling the effects of the full moon. This was our first interaction with a flight attendant. She had no basis for saying we were great and as we didn't have a relationship other than ordering drinks she had no basis for complaining about her Dallas to us. She would leave it to us that she was being put upon by the customers that she was getting paid to serve. Where the Aeromexico flight attendant genuinely enjoyed serving her customers."

Cons: "My flight from ATL to BWI was horrible. It was not a Delta plane. Possibly borrowed from SpiritAirlines, which is an airline I will never fly again even if offered a free flight. That's how strongly I feel about their planes and service. I was seated in a 2across row where the seats were small and my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me the entire flight. I'll grant you I am a big girl at 6' 250 however the first leg of my flight from FLL to ATL which WAS on a Delta plane, was fine. I did not feel smashed into the seat. For the money, I feel like I am due more than being locked into the seat unable to move more than 1/2 inch for an entire flight. Thankfully the flight was under 2 hours."

SC customer service manager named Cole enjoyed torturing me on the phone for 30 min saying he was not going to approve the difference in fares blaming on weather. While an agent at the gate indicated the delay had nothing to do with the weather!!! Most horrific experience ever! And I fly all the time"

It was not visible that we even had a reservation ntil speaking with an agent. SC website didn't show that we had a reservation. The agent found the reservation. It was a total pain and nuisance to phone in on both legs of the trip..... Make the outside vendors talk to your system."

Other than that the seats are small in the planes and seem to be out of the 1990s with no added perks. JetBlue rules."

That genuine thank you with a smile is the reason I will choose Sun Country again as well as recommend Sun Country to my friends and family."

The guy at the airport said they had a system failure the previous night - no info on the site though, so we've lost 45 minutes retrying check in online. The plane itself was definetely not renovated for quite some time (the interior). Not too comfy seats, but had worse. Boarding was a bit unusual - they're splitting the passengeres to maaaaaany groups - military, no carry-on luggage, disabled, with kids, with carry on to put under the plane, first class and finally the regulars... Not sure if that actually speeds up the process, seems officious.."

Cons: "When I booked the flight I was not given a chance to choose my seats and was charged $16 a seat when I checked in. It took 45 minutes to get my luggage after my flight! Didn't appreciate them trying to get me to sign up for credit card on the flight!"

Cons: "Where do I start? Going to Vegas (from Chicago), we sat on the tarmac for 90 minutes with no explanation. We finally took off after that, and no attempt was made to regain lost time. In fact, the flight took even longer after we were up than the original plan. The seats were very uncomfortable. I don't know if the seats on the return trip had more padding, but there seemed to be a noticeable difference between the two flights, not just by myself, but noticeable in the lack of squirming on the second flight by everyone else as well."
Cons: "The plane had by far the most uncomfortable seats I've ever been in. They might as well have had metal fold-up seats. I paid extra for a specific seat, and when another passenger took it, a flight attendant gave me a hard time when I asked them to move. I was unaware that I'd have to pay $40 just for a carry on until AFTER I booked the flight, in which case I would've just chosen a better airline."
Cons: "We were charged for every little thing. From carry on to checked baggage to snacks that are usually included. By the time we were done it was mot expensive then a delta or south west. Not to mention how uncomfortable the seats were."

The crew is almost always good from experience, but customer support online is a nightmare. It is by far and away the worst customer support services I have encountered. The actual people that work at the airport and fly are good but if you need to make a call you are screwed."

My flight from Nashville to Las Vegas was so bad, as far as hidden fees and customer service goes, I tried to book a on any other airline for the return trip to Nashville. This was even though I had a round trip ticket on Frontier. To my dismay all other airlines were full. I am writing this review as I wait at the gate for a departure time on my Frontier return trip, we are 2 hours late for departure with no new departure time given. There are not any Frontier employees in the gate area to give updates. This is the bottom of the barrel for airlines and I will not ever be flying Frontier Airlines again."

Then on top of that at the end of our flight back to Nashville, we were being oversold a frontier credit card that wasn't that great of a deal. The stewardess was rude, strict, and just plain unfriendly."

Cons: "The hidden seat assignment and carry on baggage fees were unexpectedly high (at least $11 to get a seat and $30 for a carry on bag, both one way, and apparently both fees would have been higher if I had paid at the airport). I ended up paying $88 on top of the price of the ticket, which would have been nice to know for budgeting purposes."

Will never book with them again!"

I called to find out what was going on and had to talk to someone from another country that was great at apologizing but that was all. The reason for cancelleation was not enough personnel. I was given $50 credit toward the next flight. Since this was my last flight with Spirit I guess someone else will benefit from the huge credit."

Cons: "The seats were uncomfortable and the price for baggage was hefty. I won't fly Spirit again just to save a buck because I ended up spending just as much as I would have on another airline and I sacrificed the comfort and entertainment that other airlines offer."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled an hour before take off. I stood in a ticketing line for over 3 hours to rebook. I paid another baggage fee with Delta Airlines and was seated in a middle seat when I had paid for a window seat with Spirit originally. My baggage missed my connecting flight."
Pros: "Service is excellent. They got me there swiftly and safely - even early. the plane was clean and the rest room fine. However, representing themselves as a discounted airfare seems disingenuous. They charge you for everything - seat selection, carry-ons, printing boarding pass at airport, etc. Add $100+ to the quoted ticket price. (Paying for carry-on did get me priority boarding, which I appreciated.) Be sure to do everything on line before arriving at the airport, as it costs more there. They don't give you anything for free on board, not even water, so be prepared. Also, be prepared for a sales pitch on their credit card. They also squeeze seats in so tightly that, unless you're in the aisle, you have no room to move. You cannot recline, and the seat in front of you is in your face. Personnel were not as friendly as at other airlines."

I don't fly often so when one of the ladies at the counter said something about checked bags that I didn't understand and I asked her about it she was kind of rude giving her response. The food was expensive and the flight attendant was bitchy. Why don't your seats recline?! And there was gum stuck in pretty much every book (the plane instructions manual, the menu) I get that you get a good deal flying spirit but I feel like your flight attendants hate their jobs."
Pros: "Spirit Airlines gets you from Point A to Point B as cheaply as possible. They are the Greyhound Bus of the sky. Rating them serves no purpose because you get what you pay for. If you choose to fly as cheaply as possible, how can you possibly complain about not getting the frills?"
Cons: "I was with a group of friends in Vegas this past weekend. Many of us flew with Spirit from various cities around the U.S. Many of my friend's flights were cancelled, and were given no options to be moved to another flight. They all had to buy new tickets on other airlines. "Luckily" my flight was only delayed by 45 minutes; moving my departure time from 11 pm to 11:45 pm. I arrived to the airport at 10:15 pm, well over an hour before departure time. When I arrived at the desk they informed me that they were not allowing anymore passengers on my flight because boarding has already started and there wasn't enough time to get my bags on board. There were a few other passengers from my flight that were also not let on. The reasoning was that the delayed 11:45 pm departure time was an "estimate" and we should have referred to the original departure time. This makes no sense!! Even if that were the case, I still arrived 45 min before the original departure time, which is the companies policy. Spirit gave me no options, even though I am a Spirit member and fly with them multiple times a year. Their next available flight was leaving the next day Monday at 10 am and wouldn't get me home until 9 am Tuesday, they didn't even have any flights that would get me home the next day. On top of that, they wanted to charged me for the difference in ticket prices as well as a changing ticket fee. I said No Way Jose. Never flying with Spirit again. They don't care about their customers at all!"

The crew indicated that they keep prices low through a quick turnaround, and they rely on passengers to clean the seat pockets. I found a bunch of trash and an apple core in the seat back pocket before my flight! Ew."
