If companies are merging it should still be a seamless transition for both the client and companies involved. The confirmation information from Alaska doesn't work for Virgin. This should be updated."

I've flown about 100 times in my life and I can honestly say that was the hottest / most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on."

Cons: "After getting stuck in Seattle for 5 and 1/2 hours, I managed to get a flight back home to Oregon when it was clear that they could not get me to San Francisco as booked. Flights were so turbulent there was no beverage service to or from Seattle. Flight attendant on Seattle to Eugene flight was texting on her phone while we were boarding and she would say hello without looking up. I've never seen such an amateurish enterprise in my life."

Cons: "The new interiors on the 737-NG aircraft are fitted with vents which are pretty inadequate. They don't open very wide and then don't provide very much air at all. Headrests on window seats in the exit row don't move. No free in-flight entertainment. Since there's relatively no equipment cost to airline to allow streaming to personal devices, this is pretty disappointing."

Pros: "I love Alaska airlines. Seattle was experiencing a windstorm and Alaska did it's best to accommodate those that were bumped from the cancelled flights. Even through high winds we landed safely and the crew gave excellent service. Alaska also has free streaming tv shows if you have a tablet or cell phone and download their app. The pilots communicate wit you through out the trip and get you to your destination early if not on time quite often."

A view of lightning strikes in the distance after takeoff followed by a flight into the sunset landing shortly after the sun disappeared over the horizon, all aboard Alaska's specially-decorated Spirit of Disneyland II. It was a smooth flight with friendly employees at the gate and onboard. Window seat in coach was comfortable enough. I didn't buy any food onboard, choosing to stick with the traditional complementary pretzels and a glass of water, which I got refilled once. There was no entertainment provided, but the flight wasn't long enough to need it."

When she showed up, she said she would not give seat assignments for another 15 minutes, so come back then. When I came back she said she wasn't giving seat assignments; go see the person checking in boarding passengers at the gate. That agent said she couldn't give me a seat, but watch the monitor for my name for seat assignments, then come back. Why couldn't the first gate agent say that instead of giving me the runaround and wasting my time???"

But my connecting flight in Atlanta was canceled, and its "dedicated" phone line to re-book the flight was completely unresponsive. The employees in Atlanta were, as they usually are, surly, and myself and fellow passengers had to wait on line for hours in the wee hours of the morning to be re-booked. Oh, and Delta lost my suitcase in Las Vegas, with all my clothes and a business file, and it has not been located."

I was at the gate only 5 mins late before catching the flight. Now I am stuck in the airport for 5 hours on standby!!!! It can be avoided totally."

I old the flight attendant that I needed help stowing my backpack in the overhead bin, not because it was that heavy or big, but because the previous flight had been 5 hrs long and after being stuck in the middle seat my back was killing me and lifting my bag over my head would have triggered a muscle spasm. I have a back condition and they refused to help me. She would not even hear me out and insisted on me to check my bag, which I refused to because my laptop and tablet were in there without propper padding to protect them. The same flight attendant had already yelled at a passanger and was making a scene that made several other passengers uncomfortable. i understand the flight was full and they were delayed enough, but the airline clients should not have to pay for the airline's mistakes."

I was through security and my original flight still hadn't left. If the kiosk had just printed my ticket I would have made my flight with plenty of time."

It was a horrible experience. And we received nothing for the inconvenience when I had to cancel my work day so I had no compensation and lost clients because of cancelling last minute on them."

She showed up, then they made a announcement that the Oakland flight will be delayed till 8:10 takeoff. I was able to get on a flight to Stockton Airport without problem. Cons: "I'm average-sized and these planes are tighter than most other commuter planes I've flown. My destination flight was an hour late. It happens. But my return flight ended up being three hours late and an hour of that was spent in the plane as they waited for someone to fix a non-essential cabin video monitor. There was almost no communication either in the airport boarding area or on the plane to tell us about the ongoing delays, changing gates, new estimated departure and arrival times. When we finally took-off, the captain never even apologized or announced what the new flying and arrival time would be, so we were again left in the dark. The crew were ok. I could tell they were in the dark about much of what was going on, too, and were frustrated but resigned to working with Allegiant's way of operating. But they weren't able to muster anywhere near the level of friendliness, helpfulness, or enthusiasm that would have made a passenger's experience better under these circumstances. Instead, they left us to suffer just like they were, and that's the feeling we got. Also note that apparently there's no time to clean anything between flights these days. There was trash and crumbs and all sorts of nasty stuff left behind from previous flights. Things a bit out of the airline's control, but contributing to one of the worst flights I've taken were multiple crying babies and children almost non-stop, extreme body odors and emissions throughout (need better ventilation!), and this new trend of people thinking that the first to get up from their seats and with luggage in hand after landing, the first out the door (instead of filing out by seat order). This leaves others stranded and waiting for the entire plane to deboard, And finally, unrelated to the actual flight, but also contributing to my experience is Allegiant's nickel and diming approach to flying. They charge literally for everything (and not just a little), from your carry-on bag, to choosing a seat number, to using a credit card online. What starts as a very favorable cost to fly versus many other airlines, becomes unreasonable when adding in all the extra charges. This goes for in-flight food or beverages, too. Expect to pay for everything, down to a cup of water. I took Allegiant because it was the only 2-hour direct flight available and seemed to be a more reasonable price than other options. The time-savings never happened and the cost-savings wasn't worth it."

This took more than two hours. Had I not was preemptive I would have been stuck in Frankfort for an extra day."

The seats are leather, which in some ways may be nice, but without a pillow, having your head resting on the leather headrest for hours is not comfortable. The cabin interior is mostly a cold blue color with accents of grey, with harsh cold lighting. Not inviting or relaxing at all. Other recent longer United flights that I've been on have been nicer, but the seats were no more comfortable."
