Part of my body was covered by her the entire flight except when I got up to go to the bathroom. Leaned into the isle most of the flight. Really annoying to have half a seat.
Cons: Not only was I unsure of what time to get to the airport because of all the text messages with different times, but it was delayed more and more once I got to my stop in Orlando. Once I finally got to Vegas, my bags were lost. And on the flight back, I had to go back out just to get my bags on the layover flight and check them in again (PAY FOR THEM AGAIN TOO). Just a really horrible experience. I will never book Frontier again. It was miserable.
Pros: The staff was on point. A man on my flight wasn't feeling to well and one of the flight attendants sprung into action to make sure he was feeling good again. They even got him immediate medical assistance when the plain landed.
Cons: The seats were really uncomfortable couldn't lean back not even a little so you had to sleep sitting straight up and that was even if you could fall asleep. No entertainment on the plain (i.e Wifi, in flight movie, charger outlets) The food was of course over priced and it was mostly snacks. If you ask for a glass of water they skim on the portions and they flight attendant look bothered when you ask them for more.

Pros: We were delayed on both my departing and returning flights because of some sort of confusion or miscommunication about the number of passengers on board. I sat in the front row the way there and 2nd row the way back, so I was able to overhear the flight attendants talking about it. I also heard them talking about which passengers were being difficult and I didn't appreciate hearing them gossip about people who paid hundreds of dollars to be on that flight.

We ended up paying an additional $200 for baggage at check-in that we weren't expecting and while we knew it would cost something, we certainly weren't expecting THAT much. -One of the crew members was extremely rude to a young child who had been so patient during our 1 hour delay leaving the ground after an engine failed to start. -We had no idea a meal was no longer included in the price of the ticket, but what was worse, basic drinks cost an additional fee now also. -I remember flying Frontier when they first came out. The seats used to be comfortable and every flight offered movies for purchase, but the seats on this plane had been stripped down to the basics and offered nothing. -The trip was a surprise for my Husband as a Christmas gift and I was rather embarrassed and frustrated with this portion of our vacation. We will not be flying Frontier again.

Very disorganized and took 1 hour to get through the line--and that was at 4:30 a.m. The seats on the plane were very uncomfortable; they charge you for everything, even a bag of pretzels and a carry on bag. I think next time I'll take another airline even if it means a connecting flight.

The seats, the screaming kids, and the especially the kid that the parent did not have in control and was running down the isle when we were in landing position, the captain sitting in front of my other half looked at him and told him to go sit down, my colleague say next to them the parent did not have him buckled up because he said he did not like it! Needless to say my friend was all flipped out after we landed! We had to calm him down! Oh well.

I got a cheaper flight than the competitor and then they charged me for everything they could.30 bucks for luggage under 50lbs, an extra 40 for a single pound over 50. 40 bucks for a carry on and no free drinks but they will pour some water into a cup for free. I spent the extra money for the front three rows because I'm 6 feet 4 inches and there is extra leg room in the front. I get there and and they say "oh, those are reserved." I said "yeah, I reserved them." I get screwed out of that seat so they try to give me a credit for an airline I will never use again. I got my 30 dollar luggage checked in for free instead of the 50 dollars I spent for the seat. Then!!!!... The SAME thing happened on the way back!!!!! The seats are comaparible to a 100 dollar go cart seat and I had to become a yoga master to use the bathroom, which is due to my height but just icing on the cake or dirt on my mud pie. Spent the extra money on free luggage, padded seats and competency.

Cons: It was a 4.5 hr flight and i was1 degree from breaking a sweat the WHOLE flight. I talked with the stewardess twice. The first time she said she would adjust the thermostat. when she opened the door to the thermostat i noticed it was set to 74*. There was no change in the plane temp. i let it go on for about 30 more minutes and pressed the service button. she came back and turned the light of quickly. I asked to purchase a cold water to cool down, then asked her to feel the air coming from the vent. she had a few words with my wife and said she didn't design the plane, then turned and walked away. VERY uncomfortable flight. Seats were too close as well.
Cons: Exorbitant costs for both checked and carry-on luggage offset low ticket prices. Extremely poor management! Our 9am flight was interrupted when our plane was unable to depart Denver and pick us up in Las Vegas. Frontier did not cancel the flight until 11 hours after they knew of the problem. Their offer to rebook us on another flight 3 days later was unacceptable and we were forced to scramble to find another flight on Delta at approximately 7 times the cost of our anticipated refund from Frontier which they said will be processed in about 6 weeks. Frontier is stating the issue was weather-driven, but they had an aircraft, pilot and co-pilot available and sitting at our gate. They couldn't locate flight attendants for over 9 hours! In the end the aircraft flew to Orlando empty while the passengers were abandoned in the terminal. Frontier's refund policy does not include "options" such as seat prices or luggage charges even though we never sat in the seats and our luggage was not transported anywhere. I'll never choose Frontier again!

In addition to that, being gauged for the cost of bags is insane when I was witness to the air hostesses take their own personal bags from the travel bins that should have been used for passengers. In fact, I am certain one bin was nearly full with just one air hostess multiple bags. Communication in regards to travel time was at the beginning of the flight and no other time and the temperature on board was near 80 degrees. Very uncomfortable. In future, paying for bags and seats could afford a better airline.

Cons: The seats are extremely hard and seem to get harder by the minute on long flights. My flight took over 5 hours and by the end my tush had fallen asleep! (My hip/pelvic bones were sore for a day) Additionally, the seats do not recline, period! The tray table is about as big as your 8" tablet (no folding arms on tray to put head on to sleep).

Cons: Awful experience. Early in the day I received several updates about my flight being delayed. No details on why, but much appreciated. Upon arriving to the airport the flight was still showing 59 mins delayed. Oddly, with all of the early communxaruin, it suddenly ceased! No communication for at least 2 hrs before the flight. Even as the 'would be' boarding window, the line formed with people asking questions... yet there were no answers or updates to the proposed time of departure. Even when the 59 min late departure came and went, there was NO communication. Folks were in an uproar! Finally, with no announcement, the gate attendant just started checking boarding passes and letting people go through the gate. Huh? I have zone 1, yet he said, we're just boarding everybody.... and, on the 3+ hr flight, only 1 bathroom worked. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!
Pros: Bad experience I was sitting in the last row and half way through the flight one of the toilets got clogged and started to overflow and smell up the area. There was a puddle of water running down towards the isle and the crew member was telling her colleagues to leave it alone and let it run so she can see how bad it gets for when we land. Extremely unsanitary and unexceptable to travel with that smell and conditions. Plus to top it all off towards the end the overhead bin got jammed and I had to wait for someone to pop in open, again its unfortunate I had to go through this. Never again, I would not recommend spirit sorry.
Pros: Crew was nice. However the spirit airline attendant at the desk told me to gate check my bag. I stood there waiting for someone to grab my bag for sometime. So I asked the stewardess and she told me just to bring the bag in and put my carry on in the over head compartment.
Cons: However the desk attendant came on the aircraft took my bag out of the overhead compartment. And then left it outside or the plane. I waited at the airport for until 1:30am before I got a confirmation that the back was in fact at Newark still. I had a nursing convention to go to and I had no clothing. So I had to Uber to Walmart than Uber back to my hotel. So I didn’t get any sleep. I didn’t check into my hotel til 4am due to a negligent spirit employee. I paid for the checked bag and there was plenty of space in the over head compartment. She caused me unnecessary stress and an embarrassing morning with my administrators due to my lack of sleep.

Cons: Was running late because roads were almost to point of non drivable. Zero visibility. The spirit machine would not print my boarding pass. It said see an attendant for assistance. I checked in day before flight. The man at first would not help me print my pass. I couldn't pull my pass up on smart phone but I had the receipt and confirmation. Finally he helped and printed my boarding pass. People shouldn't be treated like this. I pay my taxes and I don't have to choose spirit. I can fly through another airliner. Cons: We paid for the luggage when checking in, arrive to airport had to pay again because "the system" did not see it even we show them the bank statement showing the charge is pending. No even free cup of water for 2h20 long flight. Seat was so uncomfortable, and it remind of meat packing bus in India. My friend get charge $100 per carry on luggage because they "THINK" it was too big even though after you paid you still have to carry it on airplane and fit in the overhead compartment, what a highway robber. We thought we got a deal because the ticket is cheap but they DO find a way, or two, to steal more money from you. Never ever will I flight with this airline again.

Cons: The pilot was helpful in communicating most of the issues but didn't follow up with explanations for all of the issues. I did hear him provide further info in the terminal. That info would have been better if it was heard by all of the passengers. The issues were out of Spirit Air's control. The gate/desk staff could have avoided many problems if they gave an announcement. Instead they had to repeat the same message to most of the passengers trying to find out next steps or a resolution. The line would have been cut by 90%. My biggest issue was all of the extra costs that weren't communicated by Kayak. After incurring multiple extra costs I am NOW aware of the rules.

Also pre-check-in was frustrating from the hotel, which may have been an internet connection problem. Cons: I spoke with a customer service rep and requested to cancel round trip from Seattle to Las Vegas; I was told that they had to be cancelled separately, so I did this and was told that both were cancelled and because I had called in a timely manner I would not be charged. This transaction was friendly and helpful; however, apparently not completed accurately. Three weeks later: Only my one trip TO Vegas was cancelled; my return flight home was not. When I again called Spirit, Jenki (sp?) answered the phone and told me I hadn't cancelled in enough time and would be charged for the trip and could not cancel the return leg home. I protested and was told they would review my phone conversation. They did not call me back, but I will be calling again later today to see if I can get credit (although I don't want to use them again in any case). Very disappointed with the service.

Cons: Were unable to get boarding pass at check-in desk unless an extra fee was paid; instead was required to get boarding pass at kiosk. Doors to plane were closed 30 minutes prior to scheduled flight time (the flight was delayed through no fault of Spirit; not blaming them for the additional wait at the flight gate). Distance between seats is smaller than on other airlines; quite uncomfortable. Baggage fee was excessive; We checked our baggage even though it was carry-on size because it cost even more to bring a carry-on. No frills is an understatement.....even beverage service was not included in cost. Spirit is no bargain even though it looks like they are the cheapest when you book the flight. I made the mistake of forgetting how miserable Spirit flights are, lured by the "cheap" fare. Will not forget and accidentally use them again!

Cons: From the minute I walked into the airport to the spirit counter, all the check in machines were down. I don't fly often so when one of the ladies at the counter said something about checked bags that I didn't understand and I asked her about it she was kind of rude giving her response. The food was expensive and the flight attendant was bitchy. Why don't your seats recline?! And there was gum stuck in pretty much every book (the plane instructions manual, the menu) I get that you get a good deal flying spirit but I feel like your flight attendants hate their jobs.
Pros: My trip once in Las Vegas was great, however my experience flying with Spirit was the worst for my girlfriend and I. We tried to pay our luggage fees from home but weren't able to do so from our mobile phones, they charged us each $55 for one piece of luggage & they only allow you 40 pounds. Then once at the gate & before boarding the plane they told me I had to pay $65 for my small carry on, it fitted perfectly in their sample measurement they have there & still the woman from Spirit told me if you want to get on the plane you need to pay $65 now or you'll lose the flight. Same for coming back. They didn't even allowed us to sit together. So initially the flight was apparently cheap but with all the expensive luggage fees came up to $500 RT from BWI to Vegas. Worst experience ever! I've flown all over & with many airlines & this has been the worst experience ever, I'm never flying with them again & same for my girlfriend.
Cons: Customer service was terrible before both of my flights. Both times I was not assigned a seat and had to go to the counter to get it. When I got to the counter no one had boarded the plane. By the time everyone had borded the plane I was still in the line. I had already told the representative that I needed a seat. I was getting anxious because I did nnot want to lose my flight and attempted to talk to both reps to see what was going on. One told me I had to wait for the other rep, without even looking at my face. The other ignored me many times until he heard me complain to another customer.

They offered us free WATER. My trip back to Atlanta (through Detroit) was delayed at least 3 hours (still sitting at the airport). They do not update you in the terminal. They do not offer any apologies, comps, or alternatives even though the website says you can choose another flight if your travel plans cannot be changed. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PAY EXTRA MONEY TO FLY ON A REAL AIRLINE!!!
Cons: Due to Fox car rental triple charging my VISA I was instructed to speak to a manager when I returned my rental car. Knowing this would take more time, I arrived 30 minutes earlier to discuss the matter. It wasn't an easy fix. As a result, I arrived at McCarren Airport to check my bag at 10:55 p.m. for an 11:30 p.m. flight. I was told I was to late and would have to take the next flight to Detroit, which wasn't until 8:15 a.m. I pleaded and offered to take my luggage to the plane and carry it to the baggage workers, but it was to no avail. I was booked for the 8:15 a.m. flight to Detroit. I was very disappointed to be informed that it would cost me $99.00 to make the change.
Cons: I tried canceling one flight for my fiancé because we had to get on at another time while still keeping the returning flight. After confirming with the representative on the phone multiple time that there would be no issues with her getting on the returning flight; she went to check in at the airport and the representative there told her that her flight had been canceled. There were no other flights that night with Spirit or any other airline for that matter and we then had to arrange to have her fly out the next morning. From the cancelation I received a credit for half of what I paid and honestly will probably not end up using it because of the lack of communication. The representative on the phone confirmed and agreed to her return flight with the confirmation number and apparently he was not correct and it wasn't valid.
Pros: The price initially
Cons: The spirit luggage check in delayed me (the 120 minutes early I was there) before the flight - standing in line - by the time I got to the ONE gate agent she said I was too late to catch the flight and admitted it wasn't my fault but I would have to pay an additional $170 to book the next flight which was the following morning. Down hill from there. It took me an hour waiting on hold to speak to someone on the phone. The representative & then her supervisor could care less, by that time the rebooking charge had gone up to $215. It cost me $300+ to last minute book a low price room for the night, taxi back and forth from the airport (I had already returned my rental car). That doesn't include the return flight I paid for on a different airline or the refund I should have recieved for the RT trip I already paid for. Shameful (non)service spirit!!!
Cons: I arrived 35mins to departure and was told I could not board my flight and would have to pay an extra $100 to rebook for a later flight. The flight they wanted to rebook me for was still selling for the same rate which I purchased my original ticket. The woman at the counter still said I would have to pay the extra $100. I only had a carry on. There was no reason I should have not been able to board my original flight or at the least rebook at no cost. Total rip offs but I guess that's what I get for flying with such a low class airline like Spirit. Never again and I will never recommend flying with this airline. They have so many hidden fees.
Pros: I disliked the entire experience.
Cons: I had a flight booked a month in advance and I drove 10 hours to drop off my children with their grandparents so my man & I could take a vacation to Los Angelas. When I got to the airport they informed me that "I" had made changes to my reservation so it was cancelled and they gave me a credit for $300 even though I paid $450 for our flights. When I asked why I couldn't get a refund instead of a credit the lady told me that it was apparently because I booked through a third party, which is not true. I'm a member of spirit and I booked straight through their website. She told me there's no one I can talk to and that she can not help me and gave me a number to call. So I'm stuck at the airport with no help. (Now keep in mind I've already paid for a hotel and a car in LA that I will not get a refund for) finally we decided we'd have to take a flight to the next destination or we could not go on vacation. So we ended up having to go to Vegas and pay for the difference on top of a hotel. This is a joke!
Cons: It was terrible. They didn't even announce the flight departure properly, so we (and several more people) missed the boarding. They rescheduled us to another flight but it disrupted our plans and caused a lot of inconvenience. Also, they charge for literally everything, I've never seen $42 fee for checked baggage, or even $55 or $100 if one doesn't make it to buy it online. Weight of 40 lbs. is woefully insufficient as travelers from Europe will have to remove over 10 pounds from their baggage as normal airlines allow 23 kg.
Pros: The seating and the Captain of the plane
Cons: I ended up spending another $600 to get home from Vegas with another airline July 18th 2016. The manager at the gate in Vegas his name was "Omaha" did absolutely nothing to help me get home what made the experience even worse the next flight was a connecting flight that was sold out so they tried to fly me to Detroit where I would have been stuck til the next day and they didn't care about me having to work the next day. I also payed the extra $52 baggage fee with Spirit leaving Vegas but that needs to be refunded as well as my flight that was previously paid for that I take. Overall because of the unhelpful employees I had to spend an extra $600 to fly with another airline to make it home that day and I also pay $52 baggage fee with Spirit that I didn't even use that needs to be refunded.
Pros: I liked the base price of the fare. I also liked the staff and flying experience from Cleveland to Las Vegas. That reference may be the only thing that causes me to consider a 2nd flight with Spirit.
Cons: I did not like the boarding process, a single line for ALL customers regardless of whether or not you already have a boarding pass, my luggage was damaged and no note or apology from Spirit it was just loaded on the conveyor belt as if it were received that way, threats of the gate permanently closing 35 minutes before boarding despite having to sit on the plane until the plane was scheduled to leave 35 minutes later, fees for everything from carry-ons, to seats, to snacks and regular beverages on super long flights, and the list goes on...
Pros: Gate person was very helpful got us on the flight early and we had great seats I am 6'4" my son who was in LV for basketball is 6'11" and she was great.
Cons: At check in for our baggage it was a very long wait Michael who helped us put us on standby for an earlier flight gave us new boarding passes did not see that I had paid for a carry on bag so my boarding pass did not have a carry on. I also had a very hard time checking in for our flight and printing the boarding pass as the web page was down for almost 24 hours I wasted many hours trying to print the boarding pass and was very surprised about the charges for seats baggage and printing the boarding pass.
Pros: Overall it was a mediocre experience, but none of the airlines make flying an enjoyable experience anymore... Service on Spirit was below some airlines, but overall it was OK.
Cons: SPirit's lack of honesty and disclosure about their fees and policies. The tag line of "Less Money, More Go" is totally false advertising. By the time I completed my return flight, this trip cost me about $100 more than other airlines because of their seat fees, bag fees, up-charges... they even charge for you taking your own carry on onto the plane! What's next? Charging for breathing while in-flight?? Overall I will not be using Spirit again, and I will not recommend Spirit to my friends or my company.\ Mike Gibbore
