I paid $150 for an Uber at 4 pm. At 6:37, I got an email with news of a two hour delay. I would’ve appreciated an earlier notice. But much worse was the boarding experience. As half the passengers had boarded, someone announced that we had to have everyone boarded and seated in 5 minutes, or else the crew would time out, and we’d have to stay in WPalm. This set off a frenzy, with seated passengers yelling at the people boarding to hurry!! I was told by the pilot while exiting in LGA, that we made it by 30 seconds! It could’ve been handled so much better!"

It was fixed pretty quickly and meanwhile a rep. from Delta boarded the plane, apologizing for our inconvenience and handed out Jolly Ranchers. REALLY? After that, she and the flight attendants did give us a free drink/headset coupon. That would have been nice but it expires Dec. 2017 and the flight attendant stopped serving drinks about half way down the aisle because the flight was so short. The coupon will be of no use to me. I finally got to Raleigh about 9:30...I booked the flight so I wouldn't have to drive at night.. Sigh....Delta used to be my favorite airline."

All they served was drinks with no peanuts, crackers, chips or anything. The plane was cramped and if you sat next to an overweight passenger, their body would hang into your seat space. The plane had no place to plug ear buds into for music, no movie, and no entertainment whatsoever unless you paid for it. Evidently, you get what you pay for. The airline has good prices, but you don't get much except transported to where you want to go."

But i was stuck between two very overweight individuals who were traveling together and purposely sit in the same row but have someone put in the middle. Between the two of them I only had half of a seat left! Both of them were too big and were falling into my seat. It was the WORST plane ride experience ever, and the flight was sold out so I was stuck with no option. I should NOT have to pay for a whole seat if I only get to use half and am smooshed by two very huge overweight people that I asked if they would sit next to each other and they refused. It is 100% unfair and the lack of options from the crew was also not helpful."

They rebooked me to London but I had to stay in London overnight, they promised me hotel voucher but once in London the promise wasn't kept. She told me due to weather conditions causing the delay there is nothing they can do. I can pay for hotel and dispute it later. On top of that hey have lost my luggage. It was a nightmare. I will never fly American Airlines again!"

I was then put on standby for a flight that would leave two hours later. I went through security it only took 10min because it was 8am on a Saturday morning in LAS VEGAS. I was through security and my original flight still hadn't left. If the kiosk had just printed my ticket I would have made my flight with plenty of time."

By the time the plane was boarded and pushed back (over an hour late), we had an ATC ground hold for weather. If we did not have to wait for the flight crew, we would have been on time and not held up by weather. It took 10 minutes to get someone to the Jetway for deplaning when we arrived. We were the last flight to arrive and it took 45 minutes for the first bags to hit the baggage claim."

At the very least she could have used commonly acceptable language such as "please, thank you and excuse me" but rather chose to use "wait". As some of us where desperate to make a tight connection in SF, focusing on getting people on board and the plane off the ground should have been the crew focus."

United seems to consistently oversell its seats and then tried to get people to give up their seats. Very poorly managed airline with bad customer service. Sadly, I have to say that I have never had an acceptable experience on a united flight. Will NOT take another United flight."
