Cons: "Attendants were less than welcoming with NO sense of humor. I found an empty whiskey container in the area under the seat in front of me. When I jokingly said that I found it empty and could she refill it for me, the attendant went off on me, telling me that she was too busy and couldn’t take it"

Pros: "The pilot made up for a lot of time. The flight was said to be 1 hr 40 minutes about but we touched down after about only 1 hour in the air. Deboarding was quick."

Pros: "Boarding was fairly quick, and improvement has been made with people waiting for their boarding group to be called from crowding the boarding line. The crew was friendly and accommodating."

Cons: "Everything else. American cancelled my first flight from MSP to ORD. And when I got to Chicago, it cancelled my next flight to Nashville. The flight I managed to get on departed two hours late. There was no explanation for each of these cancellations/delays. There was virtually zero inclement weather anywhere, save for most of the country’s temperature being nearly equivalent to the surface of Neptune. And, the surly, clueless Chicago-based gate agent was the coupe de grace in my search for a reasonable explanation after which I waited impatiently for this episode to conclude. American get your act together."

Cons: "The seats were terrible. I don't know what it was about them, but I've never had a more uncomfortable flight. My husband had leg cramps for much of the flight and couldn't get comfortable. The rest of the flight was fine, but the uncomfortable seats were a huge minus. We'll probably try to avoid 787s from now on. The window-darkening system was annoying. They darkened the windows when it was dark outside and they darkened the cabin, so we couldn't look out the window. It was dark outside--why the need to darken the windows?? My husband requests window seats so he can look out the window."

Pros: "Staff did seem empathetic and offered substantial tips on how to find out about connecting flights. Also a promotional offer for the aa credit card had a sweetened points offer. I also liked the general structure of the plane made it easy to see if the lavatory was occupied or not."
Cons: "Plane pulled away from the gate knowing we were delayed (or so it seemed). Subsequent delays meant we were stuck on the plane and couldn't briefly disembark."

That was a great plane. There was no personal entertainment. Only one big screen coming out of the ceiling and playing a children's movie. Did not listen to it."

Cons: "The customer assistance rep at PHL had a terrible attitude. She was very short in her responses, and seemed annoyed at the fact I needed help, getting my new ticket indicating I had a lap infant, as it was in my reservation. Ultimately, I had to report I had an infant with me at the flight gate, even though this was my second flight with AA that day."

Cons: "Needed to stop in Yuma to refuel. Missed connecting flight. Ridiculous. And ran out of water for customers as well."

Cons: "They forgot to fill the plane with fuel. This caused a 30 minute delay. Also took a half hour to get bags. That's at 10:30 pm and no other planes landing."

Cons: "American Airlines didn't have a co-pilot for the flight. It was canceled after we were fully boarded. Passengers, myself included, received cancellation notices on our phones, before the crew was even notified. Incompetent management."
