The captain and the entire crew handled an accident very professionally. Seats in economy class were much more comfortable than the ones on my previous, rotten BA52 flight.
We get to the runway, wait 10 minutes and go back to the terminal. The captain announces an engine failure. Maintenance inspects the leaking engine, do something and declare it fixed. 2 hours delay and my nerves a bit shaken during take off. We arrived safely.
Flight attendants were very nice.
Boarding is a hot mess, and you stand in line forever for nothing. Food never has a vegetarian option - it's 2017, time to change that.The movies are the same traveling west and east. Lastly, the power station at my seat did NOT work.
It was hard to find where to go in the Madrid airport.and arrived only just in time to the check in. I was singled out before getting on the plane to be frisked, etc. One said there was something written on my boarding passes that was an alert. I am a 64 year old woman traveling alone....no plans for anything bad to be sure!
The staff was very friendly, polite and attentive
At the airport in Rome, I wasn't able to take on my carry on bag, when it was within limits. I was upset because many had the same size and had it with them. I was concerned with valuables inside, but thankfully all arrived OK.
Crew - all professional and helpful. We left on time/arrived early - no mishaps. Movie selection - excellent, made the time go faster for first flight. Very comfortable the first flight. Pleasant experience.
Food was not so great. Too much fat on the chicken. The salad smelled off/bad and didn't look appertizing. the beverages too smaller cup/quantity given (hot tea).
Internal Wifi to watch movies and music
Flight attendants busy and not care much about the passengers. Asked for water twice and never arrived until I got up and went to the back of the airplane to ask again
After explaining to the woman that I would like yogurt or something in the box one of the attendants offered me her food and warmed it up
The fact one attendant didn’t empathize that I was unable to order my food and didn’t try to help me eat something and basically said too bad, I’m sorry.a pleasant surprise being
I got to my destination on time/no mishaps. Kudos to the flying crew for a job well done.
Too longer walk to connecting flight under time crunch. No entertainment . No much room,all squashed together. No snack (free/as part of ticket) on second flight.
