Cons: "I was lead to believe I was booking a flight on lufthansa. It turned out it was United in a confirmation email a few weeks following the purchase. Then 24 hours prior to boarding, a notification comes in that I am flying Air Brussels. This leaves me with confusion - which airport terminal to go to, where to check in, who to call, etc. When I finally arrive to the airport at JFK, I find there is no Air Brussels Check in and that I need to go to United. But United no longer operates out of JFK, so I was finally directed to the British Airways terminal to check in with Eurowings. The flight was supposedly a Eurowings flight in collaboration with Lufthansa and United but operated by Brussels Airlines. I’ve never before experienced this miscommunication and confusion with one single flight, especially in my home country. When I booked the flight, it was quite clear it was Lufthansa and I paid Lufthansa prices. I was very disappointed overall with the experience leading me up to boarding time and had I known it was not a Lufthansa plane and crew, I would not have booked it. I hope you can I understand my frustration as this was poorly communicated and manasged and was quite misleading from the start. I would appreciate some compensation or recognition for the confusion as I will no longer be using Kayak or third party booking sites due to the way this was handled. I am a loyal Kayak user, but this was just too much and nothing like I’ve ever experienced before."

The lady that helped me at first literally had me making an unnecessary stop, and arriving another 2 hours later, and I STILL would have missed my second flight due to the delay of the first fligh. Thankfully Michelle was very helpful, and switched me over to American Airlines"

Pros: "The flight from Frankfurt to Chicago arrived late, had to collect bags and clear customs which delayed transfer, had to go from one end of the airport to the other on a train which operated very slow which delayed transfer, had to then clear TSA security checks which were very slow and again delayed transfer. Moving at the max speed we were capable of, we arrived at the opposite end of the airport too late to board and were left behind. United was not very sympathetic, although provided ticket for next morning flight. The entire experience was very disappointing following what was a decent tour of Italy."

Drive from Canton to Chicago and arrived at about 2 in the morning. We had tried to change our flight to leave two days earlier. The fee for changing flights was more than the tickets were initially but when you cancel it its tough break for us."

We discerned that when my wife boarded the plane in Des Moines the scanner did not read her boarding pass on her phone. So there was no record of her on the flight to Chicago which led to the rest of her trip being cancelled. Fortunately the United agent restored her reservation and put her at the top of the standby list."

Its been 10 days and no one has followed up yet on my lost luggage. I have to call United Airlines Customer Care everyday to get a status on my report. No follow up is made on the lost luggage. They have asked to file claim which will also take 8-10 weeks to process. All these experiences has made me and my friends not to prefer United Airlines for Travel."

I explained that and of course nothing happened. The viva aerobús person that ran the register is called Jose A. Carrizo #21 badge. 31/12/2021. - The problem is not the amount that I paid, but the fact that customers before me were not asked to pay, even though I could clearly read the numbers on the scale as they weighed it. My bag weighed 10 kg exactly. i weighed it when I packed it. And the other bag was a bag used to carry around souvenirs from the airport. I think this was a bad way to do business and I’m simply not happy about it."

Cons: "We were delayed but they didn't tell us till 45mins before the flight was scheduled to depart. Other than that everything else was good"

Cons: "Delayed flight both there and back. Personal at the desk VERY RUDE! Their luggage policy is f***ing ridiculous! They even weight your purse! And both carryon and luggage have to weight 10 kg - AND IF YPU GET ANYTHING ELSE AT THE DUTY FREE THEEY REWEIGHT YOUR BAGS AND MAKE YOUPAY IF IT GOES OVER!!! They always change the boarding gate and don’t have anyone telling you to go to the new gate! You have to walk and look out to the screens for the stupid sign!"

Cons: "This was one of the worst overall flying experiences I’ve ever had. The flight was from Mexico City to Cabo, and i was supposed to take the flight with two friends. We were all later than we wanted to be due to the México City traffic. I arrived one hour before the flight and they arrived exactly 34 minutes before. I remember because we tracked it exactly on our phones as it was happening. When they got to the check in booth the attendant said they were too late to check in and they had to have gotten there 35 minutes before. I have checked the airline online policies and nowhere does it say that. It only says that they can refuse checkin after 30 minutes but I am positive they arrived before that. I will mention here that the plane was about 15 minutes late taking off. So, the airline enforced strict made up policies on its paying passengers and doesn’t uphold any sense of respect to them? The attendant also told my friends they would not get refunded and that the next flight wasn’t until the next night. We are going to Cabo for the weekend so obviously that was out of the question. So, I board the plane and realize why the attendant must have told my friends the plane was closed. There were no empty seats on the plane, which means that they must have given away seats to people on standby. I support this if its a last minute decision after the flight has closed AS IT IS ADVERTISED. Not a made up 5 minutes before. So I boarded and there was absolutely no service. None. The flight attendants came out once and made you pay for WATER. What kind of airline doesn’t at least give water??? I understand the appeal of budget airlines but honestly, this flight was over $200 which is not what I would call “budget” and the airline skimped on the most basic things— water, customer service, and any semblance of human decency. I am thoroughly disgusted with how horrible this airline has been for even a 1.5 hour flight and i plan to not only write as many horrible reviews as I can but to share this terrible experience with as many people as I can so they can avoid being victims to such inhuman treatment. Viva Aerobús should be ashamed to call themselves an airline and Kayak should be ashamed to allow them on their site."
