A few improvements: 1. No signages at the airport that the porter airline was a codeshare and i could check-in at American counter. 2. Crew at the gate said they couldn't change my reward to Alaska - despite that being done previously 3. Despite there being many open seats, i was assigned a seat at the very back near lavatory, last row. Fortunately, the pilot wanted more people moved up so the flight attendants moved me up. It seemed very odd to have been stuck in last row with very few people nearby..

The flight booking code given by Kayak was not the correct one used by the airline. I had to call to get the correct one. It was never sent to me. Totally unacceptable!

Much roomer than air Canada! Great flight for the price. No complaints

As a first time flyer with Porter I was happy with the service and comfort of the airline.

Other than wifi no on board entertainment. Will use them again, roomier seats than other airlines and snacks and beverages, better than average

I like it, but the food isn't good. They need to offer more simple things. This bowls that have so many things your don't know what your are eating. The milenials like it, no the rest. And last but not least, they allowed somebody have a huge dog, vey agressive and fidgety in the flight. That's horrible. No animals should be allowed inside the airplane, what about allergies, etc

The flight was half empty yet they charged me $50 for a basic carry on! I saw how passengers of different colors were treated differently.

Flight was delayed over 2 hours, then landed at a different airport!

Wish we had music during take off and landing like the last flight

Flight was supposed to be at 3 didn’t fly out until 6:30

We were delayed 2 hours because of a broken seat. Other than that it was a very nice flight.

an he late. super rude gate agent, to every person. spoke down at people.

One of the restrooms didn’t work. The ones that did never got replenished. Flight attendant just sitting there on their phone. No notification that the bathroom was broken so long lines. Apathetic crew.

Both of my flights to and from JFK experienced significant delays. Most notably, my first flight was delayed by six hours due to crew members being affected by delays on a previous flight. While I understand that disruptions can occur, Delta’s staffing and operational planning should include sufficient contingency measures to handle situations like this rather than placing the full burden of those delays on customers. Additionally, the $12 meal voucher offered as compensation was inadequate, particularly given the high cost of food and beverages at the airport. Considering the length of the delay and the substantial inconvenience caused, I believe more meaningful compensation would have been appropriate.

We were skipped when the snack cart passed and then the attendant said we weren’t . I am disabled and was in a row toward the back of the plane which was very difficult for me to navigate. Disabled people should not be forced to walk the plank.

Our flight was delayed multiple times and then canceled at almost 1 in the morning. We are a family of 7, traveling with 5 young children. When the flight we were supposed to fly on finally arrived after waiting all day after an international flight into JFK we were informed our flight was in need of a copilot and once they located one we would take off. Then our flight was cancelled because the copilot was over his hours and they couldn't locate another. They knew before taking off from the previous location that the copilot would be unable to fly. They could have communicated the cancellation of the flight hours in advance. Once they cancelled and the pilot and copilot got off the flight, they joked about it. While there are understandably limits on flight time for pilots, they can still handle the situation in a professional manner. The late cancellation resulted in angry passengers that required police intervention in the airport. It also occurred so late and included other delta flights that after trying 15 different hotels, we were unable to secure a hotel room, they were all booked. No rental cars were available in the area either. We ended up staying in the airport with the 5 children. We made it home after 54 hours of travel with maybe 2 hours of sleep. Our luggage was lost and had to be claimed at the airport at our final destination. This was the worst trip I have ever taken and the worst airport I have ever spent time in. I met two individuals in the airport that were kind and helpful; Tonya Maingot Williams from the can we hel desk that worked to help get us rebooked and home, as well as provide us with care bags for our extended stay in the airport. The other individual was Danielle from Buffalo Wild Wings that was so very kind when we found a place to take our family we were traveling with to eat, all 11 of us and we were able to sit down together to enjoy a meal during such a stressful time.

On time! There were plenty of airport employees who were able to keep us moving in the right direction. The crew on the plane were professional.

After a 5 hour delay waiting at the gate (3 delays adding up) with no clear reason provided, we finally boarded flew 3/4 of the way to Toronto then were turned back to New York. As we neared New York, the pilot declared that it was his fault, something to do with timing and him not being allowed into the country???? How could the airline let his happen? They had hours to prepare and make sure they had a crew available for the flight! We ended up in Toronto a day late with no sleep.

We were forced to wait nearly 50 additional minutes before leaving the terminal.

Forced to check my bag which fit in carry on, boarded and then sat for over an hour waiting to take off with no explanation.

Check in was chaotic with only one counter for business class and first class. The luggage conveyor belt at JFK airport was broken so the flight departure was delayed which made the flight stressful as I had a tight connection. Although the captain said they could make up the delay, they didn’t do so.

I had a good time. However, I paid for the wifi and it was in and out the whole flight.

3 hour delay…. Nearly 2 hours sitting on tarmac. Do better, United. Or at least have the sense to not say “we hope you enjoyed your flight with us” upon disembarking.

Everything except the food and entertainment. It was a great experience though

I had no checked baggage but was required to hand over carry on baggage at the door of the plane. There was a lot of overboard space in the plane and I was one of the last ones. I ran to get my carry on but it was gone. I was given back at the plane door in Toronto, so the wait was not as long as it would have been at the carousel.

Flight was delayed from 35 minute delayed aircraft arrival to 90 minute delay causing us to miss international connecting flight on SWISS resulting in 16 hour delay to reach detonation causing significant angst, monetary loss and discomfort. SWISS transfer desk and staff was like robots not willing to help at all.

Best part: It’s operated by All Nippon Airways. It’s quite literally comfortable, reliable and respected from boarding to landing each and every time. It’s perfection without extremity in lavishness — it’s how flying should always be!

It was your usual flight. Nothing exemplary. Due to turbulance, the drinks were served 20 min before landing. Meh.

Excellent as always. Service was excellent and fully bilingual. Cannot complain .Will travel again. Always have and will continue. Highly recommended.

It never happened. Snow storm. Flights cancelled. Got Covid somewhere along the air travel.

Great. Clean. Seats comfortable. Food was free. Had new release movies.

The boarding crew was very helpful with a little special problem I had. The inflight crew - so-so.

They kept us on the tarmac for 6 hours after already delaying our flight by 2 hours. No one had any answers. They sent our gate checked stroller to baggage claim instead of giving it back at the gate.

There was a big delay and I missed my connection flight

I don’t like the music section but I believe it was a cost decision. I changed my flight last minute due to work issues and had to sit way in the back. The seats were way closer together than I would have preferred.

Our particular exceptional experience was with Johnny at JFK at check in. He was the kindest, most accommodating agent I’ve ever encountered taking extra steps to help my husband and I with our extra baggage. I hope that he knows how much he positively affected our trip.

The flight attendant was very polite and attentive. The food was good.

Crew were professional and kind. The flight was smooth. But... The internet, which we paid 35 dollars for, did not work for most of the flight. This made providing media for our child an uncomfortable hassle.

Overall fine. Seemed like one of the older model planes? Crew was mostly very kind, though some of the female attendants were a rather abrupt during the food service.

Leave on time. We waited on the plane for hour hours and it was hot and smelly

I found the boarding easy and my seat was very comfortable as I had a lot of leg room. I am not too happy that I no longer have lounge access even though I used to get it with my TD credit card.

Terrible - flight was flagged for fraudulent payment from being booked via Kayak. Requested to rebook with original credit card or provide new payment. Air Canada stay at JFK did not know how to process new payment. Had to fly from La Guardia 2 1/2 hours later instead with Air Canada.

Could not switch flights. No help from check in Four people doing nothing. Two hour wait on telephone but no other flights available. Overall experience sucked.

My flight ✈️ was delayed by 12 hours causing a disruption to my day

The flight attendant when departing JFK was mean and rude to passengers boarding

Not great tremendous delays instead of arriving at 8:15 pm arrived at 2:30 am next day no food gate changes. Etc

In flight wifi that I paid for was very slow and at times didn't work at all.

On July 1, 2023, I reached out to Air Canada via telephone. After a two-hour hold time, A representative called me back and asked me to confirm my Aeroplan account info. I used the account number, provided on my ticket. The representative told me the information I provided was incorrect. The representative disconnected the call without further assistance. I called Air Canada via telephone a second time and received a callback at 11:06. I started the conversation with the representative by explaining that there was an issue with my Aeroplan account info and the last representative hung up on me. Apparently, my ticket was assigned the wrong Aeroplan number by your own negligence. The issue was resolved by updating my parties' tickets with the correct Aeroplan numbers. Now back to the primary issue, I raised concerns with the new representative about the flight delays and cancelations occurring within the week prior to our trip. The rep assured me if there was a flight delay or cancelation, I would receive an email and be able to change my flight online. I expressed my concern about flying into Toronto and missing my connecting flight due to flight delays. (There were no available seats on any flight to Tokoyo on July 2 or July 3rd from Toronto.) The representative assured me there would be alternative flights out of JFK, taking alternative routes. I received an email notifying me of a flight delay to Toronto at 12:39 a.m. I attempted to change flights using the link provided. When I attempted to click on "CHANGE MY FLIGHT", your online platform showed a pop-up window that stated I needed to reach out to an Air Canada representative. Unfortunately, your service was not open at 12:40 a.m. I arrived at JFK Airport prior to 7:00 a.m. and waited at the terminal counter. Around 7:10, a rep informed me they would hold the connecting plane in Toronto. They even made a phone call to provide me with assurance. I then requested wheelchair assistance to get my 75-year-old mother and begin checking in our baggage. We checked our bags and headed up to the gate. Around 8:45 a.m., several passenger names were called including my party, to inform us they were no longer holding the plane in Toronto. We were informed to go downstairs to make alternative travel bookings. I requested wheelchair services to bring us back to the terminal counters. At 9:15 my travel party was told at the terminal counter there were no flights for us until July 4th or July 5th. I informed the counter this was unacceptable considering, I attempted to change the flight both yesterday and at the terminal counter this morning. They continued looking for a flight to Japan. They worked out arrangements to get us on a flight to Seoul and then to Tokyo, but we had to take it quickly. I agreed. After I agreed to this flight, the terminal counter informed me I would have to go to a different terminal and would need to take the terminal shuttle train. No wheelchair assistance would be provided. I canceled the trip!

The flight was delayed. They assigned us a direct flight instead, We are very happy with the changes!

My flight was delayed, cancelled and delayed again. I lost one complete day in Japan, a very needed vacation. My schedule / itinerary in Japan is now all screwed up. It will take more time and cost to resolve this. So, am I happy with Air Canada; NO!
