Cons: "First flight was cancelled. Rebooked for next day. That flight was about 5 hours late in leaving. No free snacks or apologies. Then sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes at destination. No apologies. Only compensation was $200 flight credit for a future trip on Frontier booked within 90 days. But of course we're not planning to use Frontier again. It's cheap and when it works, it works. When it doesn't work, they have no back-up or relationships with other airlines. Lost 2 days of our vacation."
Cons: "Apparently Frontier doesn’t have partnerships with a lot of airlines which meant I had to get my bags, tote them halfway across the country and check them with the airline my connecting flight was on. Since I had a torn ligament in my knee and the connecting flight was in a different terminal, plus having to pay the baggage fees a second time this was less than an acceptable solution for getting my luggage on to the next airplane."

Cons: "Where should I begin! To be as modest as they are in what they provide the tickets prices aren't even mindblowingly low!! Seats don't recline, service was a joke( maybe the staff had a hard time because of all the delays, I did cut them a little slack with the extra star) and only 2/4 lavatories worked. Frontier got me this time, but bets believe it won't happen again!!"
Pros: "This was my first trip on Frontier in many years, and I've heard a number of complaints as they've become more value oriented. I generally don't travel with the "value" airlines so as to avoid the hassle of paying for all of the add-ons that were once just a part of the flight. In this case, my expectations weren't high, and we chose this flight primarily for the timing out of Denver (i.e. it was not a red-eye flight). We paid for the "perks" bundle ahead of time. We were checking bags, and I'd definitely recommend that route to select one of the roomier seats and to have the carry-on included. Ultimately, the price ended up being slightly less expensive than our other airline options for this trip. I have no complaints about the staff at check-in in Denver or on the flight. Everyone was nice and the entire process went smoothly with the exception of having to put my carry-on many rows behind me in order to find overhead space. (It feels like more a slight because you have to pay for that "privilege" to begin with.) The roomier seats were a good choice. I don't think any seats recline, but they were fairly comfortable. For some, perhaps that's a perk because you don't need to worry about the person in front of you leaning all the way back."
Cons: "You need to pay for a standard/regular beverage and a snack, and at $2.99 per can of soda that's pretty steep. If you purchase an "adult beverage" you get a discount on the mixer, but it still adds up. Snacks are similarly priced. I don't use the in-flight entertainment very often, but I did not notice this option being offered (e.g. via WiFi to your phone or tablet) so bring something to keep yourself occupied. The slim line seat was fairly comfortable for me (about 5'-7", 150 lbs.). I don't mind the firmer feel to the seats, but the seats not reclining may be an issue for some. The crew could control the location of overhead items a bit better especially since you're paying for them to be on board."

Cons: "I arrived at the airport at 5AM for a 7AM flight and had to wait nearly one hour JUST to drop off my bag (I had already checked-in online). If you ask people to pay between $40-$60 for a checked bag and THEN expect people to wait in line to drop it off when you've already done everything else online, something with this process needs to be improved. There were several early morning flights and only 4 Frontier employees working...not OK!"

And we didn't check in because it was an extra $25 fee This is RIDICULOUS !"

Pros: "Just not a good airline anymore. The seats are so uncomfortable. Would never take Frontier on anything longer than a two hour flight. They were delayed 45 minutes. Wasn't given the option to pick my seat so ended up in the 41st row "window" although there is no window in that row. No more directv, so entertainment is no longer. No leg room. Just a bit disappointed and not crazy about their makeover. I guess they had to do something drastic to stay in business but I will only fly them as a last resort."
Pros: "I had a problem when I was printing my ticket. I called Frontier about the problem. They fixed the error, waived the extra fee and as long as she had me on the phone she walked me through the rest of my check in. When I got to the airport the staff at the Frontier counters were very friendly and courteous. The flight attendants were also upbeat and good with the passengers."

In this case, I spend $108 + tax and fees more than if I would had gone with the competition. Life and learn. First time flying with Frontier and I will not say it would be the last, but this airlines had been but to the end of my list of choices for airlines."

Pros: "What is the point of assigning passengers zones if they aren't going to use them for boarding. Asking all zones to board as once created chaos and tension in the line. It was unnecessary and unorganized. Waiting for luggage was excruciating. I've never waited that long for my luggage, and the only reason why I waited for luggage was because Frontier charges more for passengers to carry on than to check luggage. I will try to avoid this airline at all costs in the future."

Cons: "Every thing is an upcharge! Not even the carry-on bag is free! If you are in the habit of taking a carry-on when you travel (like most of us do), add another $80 charge to your round trip ticket. The only free drink on the plane is water. Soft drinks are $2, chips/peanuts/munchies are $2 and so forth! All window and isle seats are another $20-40 upcharge. I chose not to pay upcharge for an economy seat and ended up in a middle seat towards the tail of the aircraft! By the time I paid for my carry-on and premium seat on the return flight, my trip became as expensive as business class but got a very bottom deader service! Avoid this airline!"

Once you buy your tickets you find out you have to pay for your seat assignment, carry on luggage is $30.00 each way for a total of $60.00, checked baggage is $25.00 each way for a total of $50.00. What really got me was that they charges passengers $1.99 for a cup of water on the flight. Passengers should take this into account when comparing to other carriers."
