Blood sucker budgeted airline. Charging after and after. No one should busy air ticket in this airline. Completely a scam and sucking blood.
The cabin crew very kindly arranged a change of seats for us due to a distressed passenger
There was no food or entertainment. That was fine, not a problem. I paid for “priority boarding” ( and a cabin bag) but there was no “priority boarding.” That was disappointing and falsely advertised so perhaps that could be adjusted.
Check in could have went faster and more smoothly
No frills airline. Excellent service. Very good leg room for passengers compared to other "full service" airlines. Crew was very friendly. No entertainment system other than flight information display which was surprising as I thought it would be another revenue stream for them. Overall a surprisingly excellent experience.
Great new carrier to Europe. Lots of leg space and friendly crew
Worst seating -- by several orders of magnitude -- on any aircraft in sixty years of flying regular and budget airlines. The seats are cramped from side to side, barely padded, short from back to front. Tightness was at first absurd and then actually painful for a five-to-six hour flight. Pitch between rows is so small that even turning to stand up to get into the aisle is difficult. And I'm a slender guy, 5'9", 170 lbs. Website for booking held many "mysteries" like hidden access to payment portal. Though one screen said my booking and payment were complete, I learned at the airport that "complete" was not true. Had to work with helpful supervisor at the check-in desk Online I was able to change my flight booking from Saturday to Friday, But also I learned at the airport (too late) that the carry-on bag fee from the Saturday flight did not automatically shift onto the Friday flight. I had to pay the much higher at-the-airport charge, 49 euros. I will try to get an adjustment.
The booking was for the new Icelandic budget airline Play, but Kayak keeps sending check-in information about India's Star Air.

Pros: "Really fast boarding was great. Good selection of snacks but at a cost."
Cons: "Some cushion on the seats. It was like sitting on a board."
Pros: "Price. Flight was on time for boarding and arrived ahead of time to the destination."
Cons: "More cushion in the seats."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "The aircraft looks like a WWI aircraft. So dirty. Floors were nasty with food not picked up from the last trip. Sits are extremely uncomfortable even for a 2 hr flogjt. Last minute flight so we had to do frontier... never again thou"
Pros: "The crew was very friendly"
Cons: "The termianl could use an update"
Cons: "Getting off the plane my stroller wasn’t there. Then I was directed to 3 different places before I could find it near the baggage area. The reason I had the stroller... to help me Navigate an airport with little children. Totally defeated the purpose. Never again frontier. You all suck"
Pros: "Your staff was pleasant."
Cons: "Make the flight in time, nothing but delays. Also my baggage was lost and wasted my time looking for it. First time flying frontier and I wasn’t very pleased"
Pros: "Everything about the flight was great"
Cons: "The armrests are loose as can be. Millennial parents let their stupid kids lift and slam them non stop. For an airline that is catering to parents with small children, I would rectify this or loose every other customer."
Pros: "We were on time"
Cons: "It was just fine"
Cons: "The flight was delayed arriving to Burlington and then there was a problem in the baggage area that needed to be fixed. We were delayed over an hour leaving Burlington and then when we arrived in Orlando we sat on the tarmac for over an hour because, according to the crew, no gate was available for us"
Pros: "Patient flight attendants kept cool while PIA passengers were delaying departure by playing 'seat switching'."
Cons: "At arrivals there was nobody dispatching the luggage, more than an hour to get it"
Pros: "Boarding went ok with no problems"
Cons: "Good thing o had an isle seat. The two people in the seats beside me were large and that made the one setting beside me take up part of my area. Part of my body was covered by her the entire flight except when I got up to go to the bathroom. Leaned into the isle most of the flight. Really annoying to have half a seat."
Pros: "Boarding is fast and the crew are nice."
Cons: "The seats are horrid, it’s a plastic shell with faux leather wrapping that doesn’t even go around the back. Each seat looks directly into an abyss of grey hard plastic with a tray smaller than your hand. My body hurts so bad that I need another day to rest."
Pros: "I arrived safely. The crew was very friendly and helped to. All my husband who was scared as this was his first time flying."
Cons: "The agent who checked me in was extremely unprofessional. I felt like she was envious that I was going on a vacation and she had to work. She tried to make my experience a living hell. I personally think she should be fired. She does not enjoy what she is doing. She joyfully told me that it costs $40 to carry my luggage and after I informed her that I saw it online for less she informed me that I should have bought it online. She then stuck me all the way in the last row of the plane. I am 5'9". My husband is 6'2" and over 300 pounds. Those seats have the least leg room. It was pure torture. The flight crew in the back help my poor husband by using humor to help him."
Cons: "The crew makes all announcements so quickly, that they cannot be understood. A little patience and enthusiasm goes a long way."
Pros: "I got there safely."
Cons: "The crew did not help people with bags and barked when people opened doors that were closed. There was no entertainment and no complimentary snacks or even water."
Pros: "I arrived at my destinations safe on both occasions."
Cons: "The seats are hard as granite rocks, no leg room at all & they don't recline back at all, oh except if you want to pay for an emergency exit where you have to sign your life away to have a better seat. No complimentary beverages besides tap water. It's like we're doing your Airlines a favor by flying with you. I would never board an aircraft with the name Frontier on it again. Plus you charge a ridiculous rate for a checked bag. Never again & I bet you can guess what I will tell everyone I come across."
Cons: "Didn't like much of anything. Its always recommend to arrive two hours early but found no one working the ticketing desk so i had to wait two and a half hours for an employee to arrive just to check one bag.Seating was crowded uncomfortable did not recline. The flight attendants were ok but made the passengers feel rushed"
Pros: "1 star, not applicable (didn't get food/drink), no entertainment. Flight was very early so that was nice!"
Cons: "Scented air not the same scent throughout."
Pros: "All in all the flight was typical for a low fare flight, comfortable for an unreclining chair, and as clean as would be expected."
Cons: "The only problem was that it was an overnight flight and about two in the morning members of the flight crew gathered at the back galley and began to talk and laugh rather loudly. Not only did they wake me up but they woke a little girl who began to cry loudly for some time. Perhaps they did not realize their loudness because they were friendly on and off the plane, but it was rather frustrating."
Pros: "It got me where I wanted to go."
Cons: "Frontier has a nice cost up front, but the bag charges and seat charges are excessive and gratuitous. I would have much preferred a greater cost up front, as it was still cheaper than the competition in the long run. I also hate their seats."
Cons: "Poor customer service. Baggage fees are ridiculous. Checking in online or by app and paying for bags doesnt save any time. You still have to wait at the counter in the airport. No bag drop. Airplane seats are uncomfortable. Waited on the tarmac for about 45 min"
Cons: "The seats couldn't recline plus they were very uncomfortable to be in."
Pros: "Excellent price and an overall smooth process. The Frontier app has gotten a lot better and I'd like to continue seeing improvements."
Cons: "For the price you can't really complain, but it'd be nice if pretzels were handed out for free and maybe have a few magazines in the seat backs. A few small improvements would go a long way."
Pros: "Loved everything about this flight, the flight both ways was on time, check in went smoothly and the crew were funny and so did their job so good! Thank you frontier!"
Pros: "My knees where jammed into the seat infront of me causeing them to fall asleep sp i was standing up randomly the whole flight but the plane was clean and everything else went smooth"
Pros: "The flight was on time, pleasant boarding, clean aircraft."
Cons: "I am a frequent flyer -not without frontier but with other airlines-and this aircraft has by far the worst seat. It does not recline At all and its hard. My whole body was aching after the 4.5 hour flight. The flight attendants had no proper attire I could not even recognize who was a crew member and who wasn't unless I looked really hard at their badge hanging around their neck. They did not treat us professionally as well, complete lack of respect . This does not cost money to the company to improve."
Pros: "The flight captain was the only friendly crew member we encountered. His positive attitude made just the slightest improvement to the trip."
Cons: "Staff at the gate desk did not communicate delays and gate changes with the passengers. All departments (aircraft mainence, flight crew, baggage crew) were rude and obviously disorganized."
Pros: "2 hours to get luggage in Denver and a 2-1/2 delay to Orlando"
Pros: "The crew was superb - nice and curteous as you'd expect anywhere. The boarding process was straight-forward and easy. Overall for the price of the airfare ticket, it's a great value but you must be aware of the potential additional charges."
Cons: "As a millinial, I can get by without a lot of traditional perks offered by airlines but a necessity in this time is WiFi. I feel that Frontier would be able to improve its image and service offerings just with the simple addition of high speed WiFi."
Pros: "Everybody was very friendly and the flight was quick!"
Pros: "The pleather seats seemed clean"
Cons: "They would not let me check in before my flight. The online site was not working and I got to the airport a bit late due to traffic . When I got there I was told it was too late....there was no line in security and could easlily get to the gate. I was 40 minutes early and since I was not 45 minutes early they wouldn't let me check in. I had to wait until the next day for a flight back. Missed work and they didn't seem to try. So annoying . Will never fly with them especially when you factor in the bag fee of 60 I could have taken a better airline"
Pros: "Friendly crew, easy boarding, everything on time"
Cons: "Price of seats not included in ticket cost, but since ticket so cheap not really that big of a deal."
Cons: "I didn't like that you literally had to pay for everything !! And that a carry on cost more than a checked bag"
Cons: "Frontier's computers were down for updates at the same time we were trying to board. They could not get us on board, and we have not missed a funeral of one of our closest family members. This is simply unacceptable."
Pros: "The crew was friendly & the flight itself was cheap."
Cons: "They charged for, literally, everything (any/all checked bags/carry-ons except a purse, any/all food and drink). I'm sure they would have charged for the bathroom usage, if given the opportunity. The leg space was extremely minimal; you feel squished."
Pros: "I liked the crew and plane, smooth ride and easy security lines."
Cons: "Baggage pricing and seat choices were a bit steep. Cheaper flight with frontier didn't save me much at all after paying for baggage."
Pros: "We didn't have long layovers, and stayed at the same gate we came in on from Portland."
Cons: "disruptions while trying to get some sleep. although there was minimal food and drink service, the flight attendants went up and down the aisle a lot, collecting trash."
Pros: "Crew were friendly and accommodating."
Cons: "Seats were not that comfortable and the tray tables are almost non-existent. I have never seen them so small that you could not even put a drink on them."
Pros: "They charge for checking your bag AND carrying it on. It's like, who travels without bags? I knew Frontier was a bad airline, but I wasn't expecting the experience I had. The economy seats are cramped and don't even recline. The crew was fine as they usually are l, but the plane and the fees were terrible."
Cons: "The fees, the seats, the service."
Pros: "No delays, soft landing, flight attendants were very courteous, landed early each flight. I heard all these horror stories & I actually had a good experience."
Cons: "Seats were not that comfortable."
Pros: "It boarded on time"
Cons: "-Little table to eat. -Seats and rows way too narrow -They charge for carry ons, snacks, and probably air. It was ridiculous how I was nickled and dimes. -The wait to drop the bags was excessive >25 minutes at IAD. This is sad being that I paid ahead of time."
Pros: "Brand new A-321 (one week old) very smooth flight"
Cons: "The PA system on this one week old plane was way too loud. The long sales pitch for the Frontier credit card with 40,000 bonus miles was so loud that people were putting fingers in their ears. Otherwise excellent flight."
Pros: "Fast boarding"
Cons: "The overhead compartments were nearly empty. Charging for carry on isn't working. Also no beverage nor peanuts included I feel is a little too far for cost cutting. If you are going to charge for soda why not a realistic price? You might not make a lot of money but your passengers will be happy and you won't be losing money."
Cons: "I arrived at the airport extra early due to the long TSA lines. However frontier would not check my bags until 1:30. I waited an hour to check before being able to going through security."
Pros: "The price of the flight. I liked it being a straight through flight."
Cons: "The nickel and dime techniques used to get a seat,, buy a soda, water etc."
Pros: "Thank you very much for policing the size and weight of the carry on luggage. Making people pay certainly makes a flight more enjoyable."
Pros: "Ordinary flight. However, it had been a while since I've flown frontier and unaware that all they care about making more money and they took out the adjustable seats and TVs. It was a long flight and kids were very squirrely without TV."
Cons: "No TVs no adjustable seats"
Cons: "Getting nickeled and dimed for everything from carry-ons to seats to drinks. Uncomfortable seats"
