I don’t think Alaska coordinates with Kayak. I did not get a “check-in” email inviting me to check in 24 hours in advance. Had to wait 20+ minutes to get a wheel chair.
The delays were awful and the constant gate changes were annoying and the forceful bag checking was rude.
First Class seats had no more legroom then Premium Economy. There was no working WiFi or entertainment. I would have rather paid $400 more and flown on United for the 6 hours from EWR to SFO.
I wish my checked suitcase could have been checked since I arrived an hour before take off .
The cabin crew on this team was particularly kind and excellent.
Overall the flight was on-time and plane ride very comfortable. The free snacks not so good - only a small bag of pretzels and no milk. I wanted milk. There was not entertainment on the plane unless I wanted to download their APP. But I would consider flying with them again and be more prepared on my part with food and entertainment.
Great, but their check-in sinage is not clear and wastes folks' time.
I had to change my flight due to son-in-law being in hospital. It cost me an extra $210.00. I bought insurance when I purchased my tickets. They have done nothing about it!!!!! I filed a claim and they tried to close it without even so much as ask any questions. This is the worst flight insurance ever. I am still fighting it!! My next step is to get a lawyer involved. You should push the insurance with a company that’s worth it! This makes it on you as well since your selling it.
Alaska is the best! I had my own row, complimentary wine, friendly flight attendants, free texting, and early arrival. Coach felt like 1st class. What more could I ask for?
This time it is good, no delay and right on time
Flight was delayed 8 times. We were sitting at the airport for 14 hours. We got 2 hours of sleep (if that) on what was not meant to be a red-eye.
Flight and crew were great. United didn't inform crew of immigration process which was disappointing!
Plane boarded early a quickly, was mostly full. We left close to on time. And landed early.
Friendly and professional flight crew. Aside from departure delay after boarding, easy flight and smooth landing.
Flight was timely, relatively comfortable, with decent entertainment and food served. Only problem encountered was with the free messaging which I highly appreciate, but it did not work from iphone to non-iphones.
Food was poorly timed and not good.. Hand held snacks, really. I kept asking for water and never got any. Service was rushed for a 7-hour flight.
Boarding was organized. Old plane. Seat fairly comfortable. Business Class much too large so you don’t receive as much attention as you should considering what you pay for the seat.
I had no checked baggage but was required to hand over carry on baggage at the door of the plane. There was a lot of overboard space in the plane and I was one of the last ones. I ran to get my carry on but it was gone. I was given back at the plane door in Toronto, so the wait was not as long as it would have been at the carousel.
This flight was perfect. No complaints and only the highest regard for the crew and ground staff and how they executed perfectly. I fly a lot with United and would request predictability and transparency in their operations instead of last minute changes.
The food should improve! And The flight should leave on time and not make the traveler wait.
