Cons: "Unfriendly check-in staff, unpleasant crew members and pokey seats. Having to pay for water on a 3.5 hour flight took cheapness to a new low. My first experience with Spirit Airlines will probably be my last."

Pros: "Nothing. How could a flight not give free water? People need to take meds and should be required to pay $5 for bottled at the terminal. Everything is just highway robbery. Some folks don’t even have a credit card or fir that matter the cash."
Cons: "I was totally humiliated at the gate when I was taken off line because I had one extra bag to carry on. I was then charged $65 to then bring it on board an additional $20 to secure a sit since the flight had been over booked. The flight was delayed for the late arrival of on board staff. Most of the passengers were flight crew either connecting."

Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "Bag drop off was unorganized and slow causing a delay in departure, causing a 2 hour flight to turn into a 7.5 hour ordeal with uninformed and unpleasant staff. I sat on the plane from 3pm-10:30. Staff had no clue and charged everyone for food. You get what you pay for & im never flying Spirit again."

Cons: "Baggage fees were ridiculous. If you check your bag, it's $52. If you carry on, it's $57. During the flight, you pay for any beverages or snacks. Also, we purchased our tickets together, obviously to be sat together. On our return flight, we were instructed to purchase seats if we wanted to be together, otherwise there were no assignments. We got charged an additional $40. Overall, we spent an additional $200! We chose this airline for the lower fares, but they get their money back by charging for everything. You pay for everything. I was very dissatisfied and likely to never fly this airline again."

Cons: "I usually fly with JetBlue but decided to try to save a few bucks on this last minute trip. What a mistake!! Their luggage fees are extremely high. Everyone at the terminal were complaining about their fees. For what I paid to check in my bags, I could of gotten a flight to the airport that I originally wanted to fly into and still save money. It is so sad when even the Spirit Airline employees say that " That's how they get you...with the baggage fees." They give you a great deal on the flight but snatch your money with their baggage fees. NEVER AGAIN!!"

Cons: "Nothing at all. The online check-in was not a breeze at all. I was so displeased I missed my flight, and ended up paying jet blue. The 5 service members at the check in all stood around, spoke Spanish amongst each other, laughed etc. No promptness to get their passengers on board at all. I asked for a refund and They said no. They are honestly the reason I missed my flight. I was there 1 whole hour before boarding as well. They charge for EVERYTHING! Seat selection, Carry-on etc. The staff was very rude and actually got mad that I wasn't understanding the woman with the thick Spanish accent. The eye rolls and Spanish speaking was extremely rude. I called customer service over the phone and explained what happened, and they won't issue a refund. I spoke to the supervisor and manager. It's pointless. DONT FLY SPIRIT! It's cheap, but you get what you pay for. I honestly just want my refund."
