Cons: "Captain intentionally “timed out”. It was 3 1/2 hours delayed finding a replacement crew. And then the plane timed out for maintenance and we needed to switch planes. In all, we “boarded” 3 times before we finally departed."

Cons: "Missed the connection in CLT to BTR even though flight status on AA's website indicated that it was delayed enough so that I could make the connection. Ended up spending the night in a cold-assed airport with minimal comfort. I was already confirmed on this flight and AA knew, or should've known, that I was enroute. Not pleased at all."

Cons: "AA canceled my flight my kids who live 4 hours away from San Diego drove that distance to pick me up yesterday, we got a hotel room for the canceled flight but they ended up paying $200 for the night. AA did not let us know thr flight was canceled until late last night."

Cons: "Apparently you can make a reservation for a seat and AA is not required to honor it. They told us that you reserve a seat but you get your seat assignment when you check in to your flight. Apparently many people can make a reservation for one seat and the first person to check in gets it. My husband and I were very upset when we found this out. Especially since we went through many hoops to get a good seat assignment."

Cons: "This flight was operated by American, but sold by Iberia and ticketed by airfare.com. When I tried to reserve a special meal, each party (American, Iberia & airfare.com) said they could not do it, that the other party had to do it. So, in other words, no company took responsibility for my customer satisfaction. So I am ultimately blaming American Airlines accountable since they, not Iberia or airfare.com, contracted with the food service provider at the airport."

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

Pros: "The entire crew pre-boarding and in flight were extremely friendly and nice and seemed to have a good raport with each other. The last time I flew, I took Frontier from LGA to Denver and the staff on Frontier's flight were very rude and dismissive towards passengers. It was so refreshing to fly American Airlines and be greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff!"

Pros: "This flight wasn't terrible for being as long as it was. I slept some during it since it was at night. The good was also not bad. I got the chicken and rice combo."
Cons: "I thought the flight attendants were somewhat distracted and rude. When the flight first started I had a problem with my tv screen saying that I was blocked out. When they finally fixed it I was excited to watch a movie like everyone else around me. However, my headphone jack in the armrest did not work properly. I thought it might have been my headphones but I tried two different pairs including the pair provided by the airline. I was only able to hear scratchy background noise but no words. This meant I had to go the entire flight with no movie or music. That was highly disappointing. I told the flight attendant about it and she reset my screen thinking that might be the problem but it did not help at all."

Cons: "Boarding was the same here. Just very hectic and unorganized. Too many people getting up into line when their group was not boarding yet. Seems like there should be a better way to accomplish this."

Cons: "This was my first flight on FinnAir -- but it certainly seemed like an American Airlines flight. I did not notice much of anything that reflected the FinnAir designation. I was very disappointed with the overall aircraft. In particular, I found it absurd that there was only 1 (out of 3) working lavatories for the right half of the plane. 200+ (?) people and one lavatory on an 8.5 hour flight?"
