Pros: "On the fight back I had enough space; good service; fine food. Great trip. On the way to Amsterdam, I sat next to a very overweight woman and her body hung over my seat. I couldn't move around enough and I ended up with a trigger point problem which immobilized me for 3 days and kept me from sleeping at night. It was very disappointing, since this was a family visit trip."

Cons: "I had 15 hours layover in Amsterdam so I got me a hotel.one hour after I got to the hotel I got a notification from Kayak app asking me to go get my bag from Schiphol. My bag was supposed to be directly shipped to PDX. I had to leave my hotel back to the airport and spend 2 hours trying to find it only to be told that it was going to PDX. I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

Cons: "Boarding is ridiculous. Everyone who is not some kind of VIP is asked to line up and is treated like cattle. 5-feet tall woman holds above her head a sign with the zone currently boarding. Nobody can hear or see anything. Why not use the big LCD displays at the gate??? In the plane they had to restart the computer system as some TVs were not working and it took longer than they said. Toilets were kind of stinky and I could smell them from my seat on row 26. Blankets are way too thin for the blasting AC."

I have allergies and requested a special meal on all legs. No problem on the first three flights. All attendants approached me to confirm my allergy and the special meal. They were very polite. But on this flight, the attendant didn't speak with me about it at all. She tried to give me the regular meal. When I explained I needed an allergy free meal (mind you this was first class), I was told I could not get it and got no apology or other accommodation. Her attitude was take it or leave it. I found this interesting since on two of the other flights an announcement was made about another passenger with an allergy to peanuts so no one could have them on the flights and the attendants were very concerned."

Cons: "Again, Kayak should allow at least 2 hours of transfer time when booking flights through LAX. I had to go from one terminal to another AND go through immigration and security. In order to make sure I had enough time to make the connecting flight, I didn't check in my luggage which lead to me having to minimize liquids and pastes in my luggage (no vanilla extract or tequila). Also while making the transfer I felt rushed and stressed out. I might search for tickets using Kayak but I would not buy tickets directly from Kayak if my route involves a transfer at an airport that I am not familiar with."

Cons: "Surprised by a snarky employee at gate check for my connecting flight home today. I fly with AA nearly every week for work. They grabbed my bag from me and insisted it be checked. I said I didn’t want to pay for checking and that it contained fragile items. It was a little over-stuffed for the scale. When I went to open it and remove some bulky items to put in my purse, they snatched my suitcase away and refused to let me touch my bag. I find this to be completely unacceptable. They had the gall to suggest I go to an airport store, buy a “suitable suitcase,” and take a later flight home. They made a scene and called a supervisor who kindly and promptly let me in my suitcase. The employee then spoke negatively about me loudly to nearby colleagues and refused to make eye contact. After the supervisor let me in my bag, I got on the plane with my suitcase. At one point, this employee made me feel like I was going to be kicked off of my flight; this was so unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. AA - your employees are better than this."

Obviously an older plane, because there were no outlets (again, paid for upgraded seats). Previous flight was WAY better and I was in the regular seat."

Cons: "When checking in the staff was so incredibly rude, nonexistent during the whole check in process that it led to several people missing their flights or almost missing it. I had to run around asking for someone to help the long line of people including me who were all in danger of missing their flight because no one was around to help. And then when I finally do get checked in using the now kiosk only option for the plebeian class while anyone above economy gets to talk to real people (way to highlight the class divide guys) I missed my check in time by 5 minutes and was told by the kiosk to find an agent. Then I go running around looking for an agent. I find one and she says you missed your flight. I told her I still have 45 minutes to make it, and she rudely just tells me to get in another line to pay for a new ticket. LUCKILY someone in the priority line saw I was having a problem, a customer not an agent, and she told me to try to talk to someone on her side. After 3 agents told me no one finally told me yes. I made my flight but just by a hair. If the agents would have been around to help or been willing to help me from the moment I spoke to them this would not have been a problem. Thanks for almost ruining Christmas for me. When I spoke to others everyone told me they always have issues with AA. Will never fly AA again."

Cons: "I was delayed out of Newark due to the arrivung flight coming in late. When i landed in charlotte, i sprinted across the airport and missed the connection by 2 minutes. Rules are rules, i understand thwy cant reopen the flight for me. It happens. The frustrating part was when aa refused to comp me a hotel room. I got a voucher for a discount. The discount worked out to be 6 dollars. Not a pleasant experience."

The bag check process was trouble at both legs. They have lower weight limits than the major carriers and that really should be highlighted better when you book with Allegiant. Also, bag checkin for the flight I was on started at 7:45am. There were only 2 people at the checkin counter and one of them was busy doing something and ignoring the customers. So that was a little annoying."

In the event of extreme turbulence (or worse), all those personal items would be flying around the cabin."

They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

They said I paid way to much, but since I do t fly much I guess I'm the sucker, cause I had no idea."

I looked at the screen of departures. The screen said Eugene was at gate 72. I rushed to gate 72 to find that on display screen for gate 72, it said boarding for passengers to Orange County. I then walked to information. The gentleman at information wrote down that my gate was gate 67. I hurried to gate 67 (with only 15 minutes until boarding for my flight began). At gate 67 I asked a United Airlines worker if I was at the correct gate. He said no, my gate was 72. I explained to him I was just there. He was very rude and said if I did not want to believe him, that's fine. I said no, I believe you, I just want to be certain I am going to the correct place as I should be boarding very soon. I started running back to gate 72. On my way I stopped at the United Airlines customer service desk and encountered yet another rude United Airlines associate named Irada. She told me I needed to wait my turn in line and could not help me, even though I needed to be boarding soon. I ran back to gate 72 and the board said Eugene. I asked a pilot who was sitting down on break about the reasoning behind the boards and he helped me. A pilot whose job is not at all in customer service was the one who helped while those with the job in customer service were rude. I was very exhausted and upset with the confusion and noone willing to help. I do not believe I will be flying with United anymore if associates who are supposed to be helpful are not."

Pros: "The crew was friendly and accommodating."

Cons: "No one could get their story straight and actually lied! I was sent a text (I was already at the airport) that the flight would be delayed due to "aircraft maintenance". Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

Cons: "I flew round trip to Bangkok from Chicago last year for $460. Why does one way from Fargo N.D. To Green Bay, WI cost $480?! My flight said it was late on the screen (6:40) but actually flew on time. I think a kid missed his flight because of it. My connecting flight in Chicago was way too tight because of a LONG delay waiting to unboard. Had to run, yes run through ORD to get to terminal 2 from 1 within minutes to catch my flight. It was too stressfu and expensive."

Pros: "All crew members were extremely friendly from boarding to being on the flight, even the captain. When there was a small delay from so control flight attendants had provided great resources for people with connecting flights (they even offered their own phones with the United app to look up connecting flight information). The little waffle treats that were handed out for free were delicious and a nice break from the pretzels other airlines usually pass out."
Cons: "The space between my seat and the seat in front was very small and I'm not a big person. My seat wouldn't even recline during the flight to give me just a few extra inches."

Cons: "Many open seats but I was crowded into the back with several small children directly behind me and to the side who were wiggling, screaming, crying with parents correcting, chastising and singing to them. Thank goodness the trip was just over an hour and not any longer'"

Cons: "No where in my confirmation emails from kayak or frontier was there mention that 45 minutes before boarding I forfeit my ticket if I didn't already check in. I had no luggage to check and the line to security was non existent, but frontier had no one at their check ins and the auto check ins wouldn't print my boarding pass. I would have absolutely made my flight with ease, but no one answered the 800 number and no one around or that could be called could help me print my boarding pass. For 45 minutes I asked anyone and everyone I could for help. Not only did I miss my best friend' father's funeral, but frontier will not contact me back to refund the ticket that I paid for but was not permitted to use. NEVER fly with them, it's worth the extra money to fly with someone half respectable"

Cons: "I was ready for not having the power outlets, no complains about that part, but I didn't realize that the Frontier airlines would be so obsessed about saving their money that you can't even have a free glass of plain water!, everything is for purchase only. I am not even mentioning juices, tea, coffee etc., which are complimentary in all other airlines. The seats cannot be reclined, so you have to sit straight for all the duration of the flight. I hope the Frontier corporate staff monitors these reviews and will improve, but honestly I doubt. Once a person or an airline becomes greedy, there is no way they will change for the best."

Cons: "I was delayed and ran to catch my connecting flight, only to find that the plane had mechanical difficulties and they didn't have a crew to fix it. None of the attendants at the desk knew what was going on and basically said they didn't know if we would be able to make the flight to Portland that day unless they could find another plane. They finally found another plane, but when we arrived to Portland there was someone at the gate and we sat on the tarmac for sometime. Clearly lack of communication or something. Upon landing every single person got their bags, but somehow mine did not make it on. They said that happens often that they can't fit all the bags and they have to send them on other flights. Unbelievable. I will ever fly frontier again, it is not worth the reduced ticket price to end up just being charged outrageous prices for everything else and having such disorganization and lack of proper scheduling."

Pros: "The ticket was very inexpensive. The seats were designed to be comfortable even though they fit more people in the airplane. They don't charge you for your personal item, like a lot of other low rate airlines do. Everything was clean, and efficient. Again, I got to say the seats were comfortable even though they did not look like they would be."
Cons: "I did not expect to have to pay for a can of pop. When the flight attendant came by asking if I would like something to drink, I requested a diet cola. She handed me the canna pop and it cost three dollars. That kind of shocked me. Also when I was paying for that canna pop the tablet that was running my credit card asked me how much of a tip I wanted to give The flight attendant. When I didn't leave a tip, the tablet forced me to hit a button that said I do not wish to leave gratuity. I did think it was a little over-the-top to charge for even cans of pop, then I thought it was very expensive to pay three dollars for the can of pop, then I thought it was over the top to ask for a tip, and finally I fell it was inappropriate to require me to click a button saying I did not wish to leave gratuity after I didn't leave a tip. This was the first time I had flown front tier, so I was very surprised by The whole, paying for a regular beverage and having it cost so much. But that was the only issue. Everything else was good. Of course this is within the context of a low rate airline ticket purchase."

Pros: "On board attendants were pleasant and friendly. The arrival and departure were timely. On this trip my seat mates were thin enough that they fit within their seats as compared to another Frontier flight I took where my seat mates were a husband and wife who I estimate both weighed over 300 pounds. Even though they did not use the arm rest between the two of them, their combined weight/hel bulged over and under the arm rest next to me so I had at most 2/3 of the already small and cramped seat for myself."
Cons: "I think it is basically deceptive to advertise comparatively low prices then charge between $10 to $70 to obtain round trip seat assignments, $60-80 to carry one bag round trip, and $2.99 for a soda. I don't like the fact that even if you have a boarding pass that it is necessary to go through the entire line with folks who may or may not have a boarding pass to check a bag. If I had known this I would have paid the extra amount for a carry on bag. The non reclining skinny seat style and limited knee room/leg room is tolerable for a 2 or 3 hour flight but I can't imagine taking a much longer Frontier flight."

Pros: "Nonstop service between PDX and DEN. Frontier and United are the only carriers that do. We did have outstanding service from the rep when we checked our bags. But right next to her was a cranky rep, so I must say service is uneven."
