Cons: Two rows up from us, I kid threw up all over the center aisle as we were pulling away from the gate. We returned to the gate to allow a cleaning crew to board and clean. However, the cleaning job was rushed and left remnants of the throw up behind which smelled the whole 2.5 hour flight. It really felt unsanitary and unsafe being that it’s unknown what caused the child to get sick. It very well could have been a stomach virus and could have infected the people in rows around the incident due to the mediocre cleaning job. I understand that it’s important to keep flights on-time, especially for connecting flights, but the safety of the passengers and their health should ALWAYS be the #1 priority.

Cons: We didn’t know that Alaska Airlines doesn’t have blankets for its passengers. We were not prepared, because this was our first time flying with Alaska Airlines. We were so cold during our flight from Honolulu to Washington DC.

Pros: I'm used to being spoiled by Hawaiian Airlines. By comparison to Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian is a lot warmer with customer service, they are more efficient, they give you a free meal for trans-pacific flights, and they give you a screen or full entertainment system (depending on what kind of airplane you get). Alaska Airlines, by contrast, is a lot more bare-bones. I hardly had any contact with the flight attendants (when I did, they were nice enough I suppose), there was no food on the flight unless you paid a good penny for it, the seats were pretty average, and there was nothing really to watch (not even a common screen for movies, and this was a trans-pacific flight). You had to order their entertainment iPads. So I pretty much slept. That said, both Alaska and Hawaiian have good prices. Alaska had better options for departure and arrival times.

Cons: They pack you in like sardines and we as customers are supposed to like this. The seating sucks, the leg room sucks. My Hawaiian flight was great, great customer service, seating and leg room was great. If I could have and should have flown Hawaiian instead of Alaska. I like Alaska Airlines but truely the plane I was on was old, crowded and hated the flight. Alaska could step up to the plate and provide a better experience. If I gauged my experience on Alaska through today's flight I would never fly them again. Really Alaska I know you can do better.

Pros: The crew was very kind and the in flight entertainment was perfect. I didn't have headphones so I was ready to purchase some, but Alaska gives them out for FREE. The seats were also one of the most comfortable (for coach standards) I've been in.
Cons: Not a huge deal but I'm one of those people who are alwayscold and got cold on the flight. Unfortunately they don't have blankets but I had a hoodie that flight attend got down for me that worked just fine. Also, no complimentary food, so just make sure to stock up before boarding.

Cons: I do wish they would have checked the plane for the mechanical issue previous to boarding. The plane pulled away from the gate only to return to have its thrust reverser fixed when an error message had shown up. It would have been nice for that to have been handled before.

Pros: I'm a big fan of Alaska Airlines and their partner Horizon Airlines. I travelled from Edmonton to Denver via Seattle last night. All the staff if pleasant and treats you as a valued customer.

Cons: - Ran out of food. There were a lot of people asking to buy food but no food available. - Crazy lines to the bathroom -- the plane was probably too small for the number of people and the length of the flight?

Pros: I liked the fact that I could charge my mobile device in flight. I also liked the fact that there were allergy-sensitive menu choices. Menu prices were OK, about the same that I could buy from a restaurant in Honolulu.
Cons: I didn't know that in order to watch the entertainment, you need to download an app first. I also didn't know that you could reserve meals beforehand. Happily, that wasn't an issue; the only thing I was interested in eating was still available when they got to me, even tho I was sitting at the very back of the plane. The meal was not delicious.

Pros: -The tablet entertainment option was great since there was no inseat entertainment. The cost of of the tablet was cheap and allowed you access to everything, which is different from other airline a-la-carte purchasing of different entertainment. -Crew was great, food/beverage service was also great.
Cons: -At HNL there was poor signage to get from the rental car return to the airline. Once we got into the terminal it really wasn't clear if we should go left or right, We wound up asking an American employee where Alaska was. -After the checked bag agriculture inspection it was not clear that you go to the kiosks there right after the inspection. I think it partially wasn't clear because there were multiple large groups traveling with tons of luggage and you go straight to the kiosks and then back track to hand over your checked bag. The line for checking the bag vs needing help wasn't clear either. Luckily there were Alaska employee's there helping at the kiosks and with the bag checking so it did go smooth but could definitely be better.

Pros: Almost everything. First time flying with Alaska Airlines thought the food would be better o thought the food would be better on such a long flight but it was enough to snack on until I got to Seattle great experience in between flights was able to get an earlier flight to Denver

Cons: I found the aisle seats to be more uncomfortable than the inner seats. There was less room under the seat for baggage and feet and I got my elbow banged pretty bad by a cart (I had fallen asleep). I also think it is lame to be charged for basically everything but a drink and a cracker on a 5+ hour flight. We get nickle and dimed for everything. $10 for each food item, $10 for a movie screen (what happened to the good old days with free in flight movies?). We have to pay to check luggage ($25 bucks). We normally avoid flying if humanly possible because it is in general too much stress and too expensive but we prefer Southwest airlines if they will go to our destination. Bags are included with their tickets!

Cons: I paid an extra $300 for preferred seating because I wanted the extra legroom to sleep. I'm over 6 feet so coach is very uncomfortable. My girlfriend and I got in our seats and 10 minutes later, a crew member walked back and asked us to get off the flight. We got off the flight and were met by police officer. Low and behold, the woman sitting next to us said that she believed we were intoxicated and feared for her safety. I am a police officer and my girlfriend is a nanny/preschool teacher. Not very threatening. The officer on the ground looked us over and asked us a few questions and determined we were not intoxicated and we were no threat to the other passengers. The airline asked us to get back on the flight and we would be sitting in coach because the woman adult children were now sitting in our seats. I told them to book us on another flight with the same seats that I PAID for or put us back in OUR seats on that same flight we just got kicked off of. We were escorted back onto the flight and the crew asked the woman's children to go back to their seats so we could have our seats back. They then asked us not to speak to the woman sitting next to us (which we never did to begin with!!!) and then told us we could have free food and drinks. The whole experience was insanely embarrassed and I can't believe that woman sitting next to us can get away with what she did. I am absolutely livid that they would ask us to get off the flight and then give our seats to the woman's ADULT children without vetting the situation and making the easy determination that we were NOT intoxicated. So embarrassing!!

Cons: Video player battery would not charge in spite of being plugged in, so battery died about 30 minutes prior to landing. Attendant did not offer replacement or refund.

Cons: Female flight attendant ( don't know her name but she was wearing little eyeglasses,) was not very nice. I asked her what kind of juice she had and she grabbed the card from the seat in front of me and without saying a word stuck it in my face. Very impatient. she seem to be in a hurry so I was irritated and asked her to just give me a water. When I asked for water, she replied by saying "After all of that, that's all you want? ". Very unpleasant experience.

Cons: The whole experience of making a connection in SEA detracts from the travel experience. There is little room for passengers to sit while waiting for their Alaska flight. It causes masses of people in the walkways, and makes it hard to walk through, or get out of the way for others. It may not be the airline's fault, but as I said, it detracted. I don't remember SEA being that overcrowded on previous trips. Our incoming flight was delayed due to weather. Again, not the airline's fault, but we were told we'd be able to make up the time and be on time in DEN. We were still late.

Pros: I was able to sneak onto this flight thanks to the crew. I was booked for a later flight that day and got to the airport early enough to jump on a much earlier one. Those snack packs you sell are just amazing. I wish I had one right now!
Cons: I was stuck next to someone who stank already without having a bad problem with passing gas later in the flight, but that's not the airline's fault. Still, made the ride a bit rough for me. After a while I became less discreet about covering my nose.

Cons: We went in LGA to the Baggage drop off and the employee there was super rude. On the flight to New York with Delta we had to check our carry ons at the gate because it wasn't enough room for bags in the airplane.so we asked when we checked our one suitcase if we can/should check our carry ons to avoid having to do it at the gate. The delta employee told me sure no problem. He checks in my one suitcase I purchased gives me the tracking paper and says ok have a good flight. I asked him so what is with our carry ons and he told us that that would cost 25$ and we can't check those in at the drop off?!?We ended up taking the carry ons with to the gate and then off course there wasn't enough room on the airplane that we had to check it in. And surprise it was free?? We had never issues with Lufthansa, icelandair etc. with checking our bags at drop off to not needing to carry it around and than still end up to check it at the airplane. Every airline has been more than happy that we volunteer to check our bags that they don't have the trouble at the gate.

Cons: LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation.

Pros: Not much. Boarding by "zone" works ok, but is no quicker than most other boarding methods.
Cons: Boeing 767-400ER seats had no leg room for 6'+ traveller like me. The entertainment system was so old that there were no 115v outlets or USB ports. On a 7-hour flight, that is a significant problem for travellers today with multiple electronic devices. Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there.

Pros: Boarded quickly and we made up plenty of time when we were only 15 mins late for take off.
Cons: Baggage broke our baby stroller. Banged up, heavy deep scratches, and won’t lock properly nor will it release the brake phone portly where one wheel won’t unlock without much luck. Waiting to see how they correct this very expensive issue. And the vegan tapas option for food was not good at all. Ended up staying hungry for the duration of the flight. But my wife enjoyed her turkey sandwich.

Cons: The plane got delayed on the runway and the shut the engines off so the plane got super hot, but even after we got up in the air it never cooled down. Normally I’m freezing on flights, but I just sat sweating this whole flight. It was terrible.

Cons: My seat was uncomfortable and I was seated in the only row of the aircraft without entertainment for a four hour flight. Then on top of that the passenger next to me removed his shoes and you could smell his feet from a mile away but the flight attendants never requested for him to replace his shoes.

Cons: Poor communication, a 6 hour delay followed by a 7 hour layover (during which we had to sleep on an airport floor because Delta couldn't offer us any hotel vouchers). Gate agents disappeared after 7pm becuase they were due to be done with their shifts when our flight was originally supposed to leave at 6 pm. It felt like we were trapped in the movie The Terminal. Oh! And our bag was misrouted, because that was just how things went those 2 days. All in all a 6 hour trip turned into 18 hours. I could have driven home in that amount of time!

Pros: The entertainment unit allowed me to watch the Denver Broncos game live which helped lessen the delayed departure and uncomfortable seating.
Cons: Uncomfortable seating....too crowded!! We had a delayed departure by 30-40 minutes because of a computer download issue. Too many folks carrying carry-ons delayed boarding. I wish folks were not encouraged to go that route but to check baggage. This time of year gets even tougher with folks carrying Christmas presents and over sized personal items. Ugh. Not fun to travel this time of year.

Cons: Signage is terrible. Delta sign out side is obscured as and too small. Construction is no excuse for the confusion. Delta is not readable on the overhead signs and airport is too dark at night. Everything is hard to find.

Cons: DO NOT FLY AMERICAN AIRLINES DURING A PANDEMIC. They were not keeping folks distanced from each other, they did not make sure that all the passengers had masks (I understand that people might take them off in flight briefly to drink etc but there were people that walked right on without masks on at all) The flight was FULL. They did a full drink/snack down the aisle thing ensuring that everyone packed into that small space would all be taking off their masks at the same time (if they still had it on in the first place). I did not feel safe at all.

Cons: There are too many announcements on the screen before you can start watching entertainment. It takes about 15 minutes.

Cons: The flight had an emergency oxygen failure an hour into the flight, so we had to turn around and go back to the departure city for 4 hours. Extremely annoying on an overnight flight.

Pros: The trip started off poorly with a day delay and rebooking hotel and car at final destination. Not to mention our final destination is San Antonio not Phoenix. We were not rebooked for a flight from PHX to SAT. But after a few hours we were finally booked. We didn’t really appreciate the 7 hour layover at 0100 in the morning and nowhere to get a meal or even coffee. However, the flight had the same crew from the night prior and they were excellent. The flight was open so we were able to get more leg room, less waiting time for the bathroom, and pretty much one on one service from our flight attendants. With all the struggle in the beginning, this particular flight was actually the best flight I have been on.
Cons: We were ok with the hotel and meal vouchers however, again, the only part of our itinerary looked at was the first flight, not the second into SAT. Had we not questioned the agent, we would have been stuck in PHX with no room, no car, and if we eventually would have gotten a flight, our reservations for car and hotel in SAT would have been cancelled and I would have been out $1700. I already lost money but it could have been worse. Basically, I am paying for a car and room that I am not currently in. Reimbursement for that would have been nice. Either way we will still travel using the travel service and this particular airline in the future.

Cons: The plane we needed for our flight arrived really late so our flight was then of course delayed.

Cons: the drink service came through pretty late in the flight. i asked for hot tea. a few minutes later i was provided with extremely hot tea. about 10 minutes later it was a temperature i could tolerate drinking. about 1/3 through the drink i was required to throw away my drink because we were preparing for landing. i understand that, fine. bad timing. it’s just a drink. what was unsatisfactory is that the attendant rudely commented “you have to give us your drink. it’s not that long of a flight.” the comment made me feel like i had done something wrong even though i had just been drinking my tea as soon as it was at a drinkable temperature. i was not impressed with the attendant. also, there weren’t any biscotti cookies.

Pros: The first leg had awesome pasta.Then, on the 2nd leg, Philly to Denver, they had a "pay for meal" option for turkey with Chutney sandwich - again, delicious. I should add that the service was very good as well.

Cons: I arrived at HNL nearly 2 hours before my flight. The check-in procedures at HNL were very poor. There were not enough operating machines to help passengers check-in. In fact, there appeared to be more non-functioning machines .than working ones which created a huge backlog of passengers. We then had to wait in another long line to have our bagged checked and boarded. This was one of the worse situations I've seen in a very long time.

Pros: Flight crew had a great sense of humor - they were extra friendly while boarding as well, made traveling with AA the best! Boarding was delayed due to previous flight but our pilot even managed to get us to Denver early! Wish I could have this crew everywhere I go!

Cons: Watched a very weird interaction between Muslim (with a hajib) women with a kiddo and desk crew. She wanted to sit next to her child on the flight and needed to switch seats to be able to. Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!

Cons: I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it.

That was a great gift since he doesn't sleep and is jumping and crawling all over the place. And I'm sure the other passengers were breathing sighs of relief!! Also super smooth landing and nice flight attendants.
Cons: Flying with an active 14 month old toddler boy and of his "stuff" is nothing less than anxiety provoking. Not much the airline can do..

Cons: Had to board three times, two different planes. I understand mechanical problems, but 3 hours later, and on another plane, the captain starts making stuff up, saying that the only reason we hadn't moved in the last hour was because people were using the bathroom, then something about having to deplane because the plane couldn't back up with us on it because of some sensor? And then, surprise ! All of the sudden they noticed there was an issue with his and some of the crews' hours and we had to wait till they could locate more crew. But they gave us each a 1/3 glass of water and later a $12 food voucher which didn't even cover a meal and beverage. Whoop-de-do. 7 hours later we finally boarded for the third and last time. The crew on the other hand stayed professional and friendly.

Pros: American Airlines is my favorite Airlines to fly. There is a little more leg room and the seats are a little wider. The staff is very professional and courteous.

Cons: I had a very difficult time adjusting my reclining seat. It gave new meaning to physical comedy. Anothers' seat locked up all together and an attendant had to play with it for a long time to get it to an upright position. Another woman's phone slipped back under the cushion and she had a most difficult time retrieving it.

Pros: I paid for an Economy Plus seat and was three rows back from the galley and you would have thought the rows around me were prisoners. We were completely ignored by the flight crew. I had to actually go up and ask my own coffee and water. I saw one flight attendant yell at the person seating next to me, because she got up to go to the bathroom, after the "fasten seat belt" sign was off but the flight attendant was not aware of it. Basically everyone was rude.

Pros: The crew was friendly, and the flight time was an hour shorter than scheduled. But those are silver linings to real problems I encountered.
Cons: This flight was actually from Denver to Kona. There was 1.5 hour delay due to mechanical issue with plane, so we had to switch gates and planes. That wasn't so bad. What made it bad was an extra 45 minute delay because apparently maintenance forgot to sign off on the new plane. Also, the space below the seat for my feet and carry-on was unacceptable. All the aisle seats like mine had only half the space of the window seats for their feet. If you're in an aisle seat on that plane, it's impossible to fit anything but the size of a small purse under the seat in front of you. And the middle seat fares only a bit better. Finally, with 7 hours of flight time plus about an hour waiting to depart from gate on plane, the crew ignorantly decided to hand out the Hawaii form to fill out within 2 minutes of preparing to land. Many people didn't have time to fill out the form before being required to put tray tables up. Fortunately, these forms aren't as serious as going thru customs, but it's stupid to pass out the forms that late into the flight expecting people to complete them.

Cons: They didn’t provide entertainment properly, you needed to have the United app downloaded ahead of time if you wanted to see any movies. All food was made for purchase they did not offer any free food.

Absolutely zero service! No more United!

Cons: The loading process is horrible as usual and by the time I got on board there were no overhead bins available for my bag. I had to go back four rows and really shove my bag into a bin--and my bag isn't ovesized. After leaving the gate, we sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes because there was some kind of incident in the back of the plane. Some of the crew headed to the back of the plane wearing latex gloves and later a passenger went into a lavatory to change his pants. I think someone threw up on the poor guy. What I didn't like was no one telling us why we weren't taking off, and no apology when we did! Later in the flight, I was asleep when the crew went up the aisle with a food cart and pinched my foot!

Cons: Internet costing 8$ for an hour is way overpriced, no leg room, seats not really comfy, no meals provided during an 8 hour flight.

Cons: The crew and staff of united in general seemed to really be unhappy with their jobs. The flight crew seemed very unpleasant.

Cons: The passenger in the seat next to mine rented a tablet from United and proceeded to spend the entire night playing games or watching movies -- he never turned it off the entire flight. The glare from the tablet made it impossible for me to sleep or even nap on the flight. I asked the fellow if he would mind dimming the screen but he told me that wasn't possible. If United could put dimmable screens on the tablets it would help create an environment conducive to sleep, which is what most passengers want on a redeye flight. Alternatively, privacy screens would cut down on the shared glare. As it was, the flight was a nightmare.

Pros: The crew onboard the United flights were very friendly and capable. Plus I downloaded the United app and was able to watch any show I could think of but Landed on Westworld, cause I can never catch-up.
Cons: Virtually no food included on an $800 dollar 5 hr flight. I even upgraded economy elite. In the equivalent range Alaskan gives a very nice fo-meal in a box. Finally, I arrived for my flight from San Luis Obispo an hour and 45 minutes early and stood in line to check my small bag for the first 45 minutes. At which point the desk agent made the announcement she would no longer take bags. Luckily my bag was small enough to be considered a carry on so I just went to security. I don't know what people with large bags behind me did? then it takes another 45 mins to get through security at which point they see my 5 inch knife on X-ray machine. Which I packed 3 days earlier when I planned to check my bag. Lost the knife, fine, my fault, goodbye favorite pocket knife. but now I am randomly selected for explosives LOL by TSA. I get to the gate the gate agent scans a ticket for the person infront of me. I step up and the same gate agent puts her hand over the scanner and says sorry it is late!? There were 6 other people behind me and this is a 22 person plane. So I still not upset walk back out of the security area because TSA closes the area in between flights and call United. They get me on the next flight out and rescheduled my following flight only a 3 hour wait. An hour goes by and the first desk agent, they have been holding the first flight because enough people aren't onboard. SLB is a joke.

Cons: Flight got cancelled, stuck for an extra day in Honolulu. United put me in a hotel for the night, but I have to check out at 11am and the new flight doesn't leave until 8:40pm. So now I'm just supposed to sit around the airport for 9 hours? Plus last night they told me all the other flights were full. But my girlfriend called this morning and also checked online and there was an earlier flight at 7am, that would have still got me to Denver tonight. and there WAS availability on it, but since I got different information from different people, time ran out and I couldn't get on that one. So I lose an entire day of my trip, and have to cancel the appointments I had scheduled in Denver for today. Plus the expense of having to find food in Honolulu for a day. So...yay united. Once again, you're awesome.

Pros: Everything went well from check in, to boarding, to the flight. Flight attendants were all great and attentive. Flight left a few mins early and arrived 20 mins ahead of schedule. Coffee was FANTASTIC.

I couldn't consistently watch a show or movie for 3 minutes thanks to the wifi and or app on MY Samsung tablet....it's SO sad that you guys couldn't have them already installed like other airlines. This airline is already in hot water, I expected MUCH better customer service. I will do my best NOT to use them again and tell others to do the same.

Cons: $660 in baggage fees for a military traveller who signed up with a U.S. Flag carrier. The whole purpose of choosing United was their baggage limits, instead its just a code-shared flight with ANA as the operator and I end up paying loads to bring home equipment. Will use a budget airline that is more upfront with their fees next time.

So our money was collected but due to the mess up on seating and loss of our $600.00 epi pen medication we didn't take the flight.

I wanted both seats and paid for both seats. It is theft and should not be allowed. The flight attendant was extremely rude and dismissive. It is a poor practice. You could have at least asked first before rebooking the seat. At least have offered compensation or something. I probably would have said yes Anyway. It's the principle of the process being wrong to the consumer which only benefits the corporation.
