Cons: "DO NOT FLY AMERICAN AIRLINES DURING A PANDEMIC. They were not keeping folks distanced from each other, they did not make sure that all the passengers had masks (I understand that people might take them off in flight briefly to drink etc but there were people that walked right on without masks on at all) The flight was FULL. They did a full drink/snack down the aisle thing ensuring that everyone packed into that small space would all be taking off their masks at the same time (if they still had it on in the first place). I did not feel safe at all."

Pros: "The trip started off poorly with a day delay and rebooking hotel and car at final destination. Not to mention our final destination is San Antonio not Phoenix. We were not rebooked for a flight from PHX to SAT. But after a few hours we were finally booked. We didn’t really appreciate the 7 hour layover at 0100 in the morning and nowhere to get a meal or even coffee. However, the flight had the same crew from the night prior and they were excellent. The flight was open so we were able to get more leg room, less waiting time for the bathroom, and pretty much one on one service from our flight attendants. With all the struggle in the beginning, this particular flight was actually the best flight I have been on."
Cons: "We were ok with the hotel and meal vouchers however, again, the only part of our itinerary looked at was the first flight, not the second into SAT. Had we not questioned the agent, we would have been stuck in PHX with no room, no car, and if we eventually would have gotten a flight, our reservations for car and hotel in SAT would have been cancelled and I would have been out $1700. I already lost money but it could have been worse. Basically, I am paying for a car and room that I am not currently in. Reimbursement for that would have been nice. Either way we will still travel using the travel service and this particular airline in the future."

Pros: "The crew looked tired and somewhat friendly. We were delayed about 45 mins and they really didn’t communicate much the Captain did. On the ground we had to wait 20mins for the jet bridge and the door to open and no one said anything. The plane was shut down and turned on again too."

Many could not get system to work. Antiquated and/or poorly maintained. Also, announcement made it seem as if you had to pay for wine/beer/spirits. I wasn’t drinking so it didnt matter but at other times this would have been a hassle. Never had this on an international flight. Flight was okay just not top drawer like it used to be. Cost cutting measures have impacted the brand. Would not say it is first tier. Dont mind a “no frills” flight if it results in lower cost to consumer (aka Southwest Airlines)"

What wasn't told to us was we would lose our seats and be put on the bottom of a waiting list. We were able to board bc other passengers did not show up, however we no longer had our seat preference, so I had a middle seat, although I'm a service member with a left knee issue so my seat needs to be an isle one. Also, there were no food choices that did not account for my allergy."

Cons: "I arrived at HNL nearly 2 hours before my flight. The check-in procedures at HNL were very poor. There were not enough operating machines to help passengers check-in. In fact, there appeared to be more non-functioning machines .than working ones which created a huge backlog of passengers. We then had to wait in another long line to have our bagged checked and boarded. This was one of the worse situations I've seen in a very long time."
Cons: "Employees seemed like they didn’t like working for American. Flight was delayed and nobody informed us about it until it was past the past the boarding time. Missed connecting flight and booked on flight 5 hours past original departure time. Sat in an aisle seat and stewardess kept bumping my arms."

To my surprise, there had many open space when I walked in the plane. The worst thing was my brand new suitcase was torn. I told the luggage agent the incident and she said they had no liability what so ever."

The whole experience went considerably better than we expected since we did not know how our son was going to handle it. All in all we were very happy thanks to the wonderful AA staff that helped us at each stop."

The whole purpose of choosing United was their baggage limits, instead its just a code-shared flight with ANA as the operator and I end up paying loads to bring home equipment. Will use a budget airline that is more upfront with their fees next time."

Really, because a sandwich is too expensive? - Entertainment needs to be purchased extra. Use your existing Directv subscription? Of course not. - Power socket underneath the seat - good idea. One that actually works? Oh wait."

Cons: "Stewardess was so big and clumsy, that she had to hold on to the overhead bins and wake me up every time she squeezed through aisle and scraped by me. I know you cannot discriminate against big staff, but you have to make the aisle wider if you want your passengers to be comfortable and undisturbed."

The young lady next to me had not eaten and it was the third flight on her journey, she had one more flight to go. the pressure from the flight attendant was similar to a very bad used car salesman. Tacky. When the same thing happened to another young person on my flight back, I suspected this is the way United runs its flights. I'm guessing United doesn't treat their employees well. They did just enough to be barely pleasant. I won't fly United again."

I was allowed on, but our plane could not land in Aspen as a snow squall socked it in just before we arrived. Had to bus in from Grand Junction in unheated bus. arriving at 3 am. Worst trip to Aspen, ever."

Cons: "Flight delayed by 2.5 hours. Had to sit another 30 minutes on thr tarmac upon arrival. Made everyone on the plane check rolling carryons, said they would hand them back to us upon leaving the plane. Then told us when we were leaving the plane told us we would have to get carry ons through baggage claim. Then baggage claim was not ready had to wait another 45 minutes to retrieve our carry on items. Wifi stopped working halfway through the flight."

Cons: "After a rough start in Honolulu we landed in San Francisco to catch our connecting flight to Chicago but when arriving to the gate before the plane left I along with the other passengers were ignored and given no information as to why we couldn't board the plane. The best they could do was St Louis. Frustrated is an understatement."

Cons: "7 am flight cancelled and re booked for 4pm flight on standby until then. 4pm flight didn't finish boarding until 5pm. No compensation offered on top of all of that, turbulence was terrible during descent. Been on easily over 100 flights and this was the worst"
Cons: "It was snowing in Aspen when we tried to land. We left late for whatever reason I can't remember and then a de-icing that they said would only take 10 minutes took 30. Aspen airport has a strict closure law of 11pm. We didn't get above Aspen until 11:05 then the runway wasn't cleared off so we had to circle around and attempt again. They couldn't keep up with the snow to keep the runway clear. If we would have been 15 minutes earlier and had not been delayed for numerous reasons, we would have been able to land since the storm was just starting and the people on the runway at aspen airport would have had more time to clear the runway instead of it being after their shift was over. We didn't land back in Denver until 12:15 and I didn't get to my $250 room until 1:30. Why is it that I have to pay for errors of other people? Not to mention that I missed almost a full day of work and will be docked pay for that as well (another $100) because we didn't get back into Aspen the following day until after 1:00 (also because of awaiting aircraft). I am sick of awaiting aircraft excuses as well!!! These are united's fault and travelers recieve zero compensation for their tardiness!!!"
Cons: "My husband & I booked seats together and you separated us to opposite sides! There was not a single movie since there weren't any TV screens. There were no USB plug ins."
