India has restricted entry to most foreign travelers until at least February 28. However, certain eligible foreign nationals are able to travel to India via Vande Bharat flights or third country flights.
Until 28 February, travelers who are arriving from or have transited through the UK must be traveling on a direct flight from the UK to India.
Certain categories of Indian nationals and residents may enter the country on repatriation flights arranged by Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan may also enter the country.
Other exceptions exist for air cargo flights that carry goods for trade or essential goods and supplies, and their crew members, helpers, cleaners, etc. Travelers with an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card or booklet are eligible to enter the country, as are their minor children and spouses, or students attending an Indian institution, if one of the parents is a national of India or OCI card holder. Travelers may transit through India from a neighboring country if traveling via India to their country of residence.
The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has issued new guidelines permitting certain categories of foreign nationals to travel to India on business. However it will require them to first obtain a fresh business or employment visa. For information categories and process, visit the Indian Bureau of Immigration website.
E-visas and tourist Visas are no longer valid.
Travelers must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
All travelers must visit the New Delhi Airport website and submit a self-declaration form at least 72 hours prior to departure. Travelers who have been in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Brazil, France, Germany, Iraq, Kuwait, Netherlands, Oman, Qatar, Russian, South Africa, the UK, Ukraine or UAE in the past 14 days must submit to and pay for a confirmatory molecular test upon arrival.
Travelers arriving from Afghanistan, Bahrain, France, Germany, Iraq, Kuwait, Netherlands, Oman, Qatar, Russian, Ukraine or the UAE are subject to a COVID-19 molecular test upon arrival, at their own expense.
Travelers arriving from Brazil, South Africa or the UK are subject to a COVID-19 molecular test upon arrival and another test on day 7, at their own expense.
Travelers coming from or transiting through the UK, Brazil, and South Africa will have to quarantine at least 7 days even if they test negative upon arrival.
Travelers who test negative for COVID but were seated in the same row as, three rows before, or three rows behind a traveler arriving from the UK, South Africa, or Brazil who tests positive for COVID upon arrival will also be placed in institutional quarantine for at least 7 days pending additional testing.
Some states require quarantine for all individuals arriving from outside their borders with no exemptions. During the 14-day quarantine period, travelers are not permitted to use any form of public transportation or appear in any public location.
They may be required to provide contact details and be asked to download the Arogya Setu app.
Travelers are not allowed to transit through Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai.

I never received a confirmation email and therefore missed the flight. I understand and take full responsibility for booking the wrong departure date but when I tried to change it after missing the flight I was told that the airline policy was to charge a $300 change fee plus $30 for the third-party vendor. Because this was booked as a round-trip this vendor was attempting to charge me $330 plus the full price purchase of a new ticket as the "change fee". For some reason I was unable to explain to the person on the phone that it made no sense for me to pay full price for a ticket plus give that vendor an extra $330. I was forced to eat the entire round-trip ticket and of course save $330 by just hanging up and booking a new flight. I have course book a new flight directly with the airline. I could not even fly standby on the next flight with the airline because they told me they were unable to assist me in anyway because I booked through a third-party vendor. There were plenty of seats available on the next flight and I would've been able to fly standby had I purchased directly from the airline. Never again"

I like the variety of food choices and some of the dishes were delicious (salmon and rice). The seats are pretty comfortable. They aren't great for sleeping in, but the flight was decently quiet and dark for some time. I would recommend bringing a pair of earplugs and a neck pillow."

I have been flying a lot lately using delta. I’ve had some delays but they’ve always been accommodating, this crew was not! What a shame!"

I brought this to the attention of Kayak/Aeromexico and the flight appeared to changed for our entire party of six. When we arrived to depart from Akron-Canton there were MAJOR issues with Delta acknowledging the change on their end. We waited at check-in for an hour and half before this was resolved. This also happened when we left Cancun and almost missed our flight. Our daughter also had to put on stand-by in Atlanta due to this fiasco. Had we not been to Cancun airport extra early AND had our flight delayed in Atlanta we would have missed both flights. This was without a doubt the worse experience we have ever had!! It should have been caught and resolved before I ever had to get involved. I am very disappointed and unhappy with the service offered for the tickets we purchased. This was extremely stressful for my wife and kids and tarnished our vacation. This was totally and completely avoidable!!! You can and should do better to service your customers!!"

The confirmation number was: KAYAK Booking Reference KE40651 British Airways Record Locator 3IMN38 Booking Date Jan 24, 2021 So British airways cancelled the flight may days before the flight date and they notified Kayak but Kayak sent me no notification. At the time of check in we found that the flight was cancelled. It was such a hassle. I called kayak to rebook frantically since it was very important to travel right away. Your customer service was pathetic. I was told to cancel my british airways reservation and then I have to wait 24 hours for another department to call me to talk to me about rebooking choices. There was no concern from your customer service that since u are at fault so make correction for it right away by rebooking it. You guys didnt inform us for cancellation of the flight that happened days before the flight. I didnt like what Kayak rep was telling me and called British airways again to see if they would do something. They then were able to rebook me the following day with 2 stops instead of one stop which I had booked. So my parents took the flight with one day delay with extra stops. I had such a horrible experience with Kayak. I will never rebook from Kayak again."

On top of this they only offer next calendar day booking so even though they are fully responsible for botching up the second flight I booked. I have talked to 10 individuals from different agencies. Everyone passes blame and responsibility off on someone else. On top of everything else, noone but the American Airlines representatives showed any empathy or concern for my being stranded for the night. Based on this experience, I will do everything in my power to dissuade people from using Kayak, webjet, amadeus and British Airways."

Couldn't lift the armrests completely, which was ridiculous. Even with an empty seat between myself and row-mate, we were cramped and couldn't get comfortable bcse of arm rests. Absolutely awful. Cannot imagine how much worse it would have been if seat in middle taken."
