Pros: Seat very comfy.
Cons: Wish I could have ordered the cheese plate (wasn’t an option).
Cons: I didn’t know my seat on my 3rd flight and had to move 3 times
Pros: No in seat entertainment
Cons: No snacks or beverages offered on a six hour flight
Pros: The entertainment options were plentiful.
Cons: The crew Could have been more communicative about the flight delay. The usb outlet in the seat didn’t work.
Pros: Always great crew on Alaskan, but this is the first time the pilot updated us constantly and I loved it.
Cons: Better planning on Reagan and Seatac airports with their air traffic control.
Cons: The flight itself and the crew are typical of Alaskan Air quality, but there was an unruly passenger directly behind me kicking, punching, screaming, and swearing for the better part of the flight which made the surrounding travellers extremepy uncomfortable.
Pros: Comfortable seats and smooth red-eye transcontinental flight.
Cons: If there weren't a 15-minute delay due to maintenance.
Pros: The premium seats, snacks and drinks that come with.
Cons: There needs to be power outlets on the smaller planes. I paid to upgrade to premium and there was no power outlet
Pros: Of the three flights on my trip this was the best. At least the cabin crew on this leg was friendly
Cons: Pretty much everything. But at least the wifi worked and the flight attendants didnt act like we were a burden
Pros: Everything was pretty darn good.
Cons: Little more recline in the seats. Only an inch more would really help you sleep.
Pros: Nice to have pre reserved food ready for me on the flight. The entertainment options were excellent! So many free movies to choose from.
Cons: The bathroom smell in the back of the plane for 5 hours was awful. Plane wasn’t cleaned before boarding. Food crumbs in seat and on floor.
Pros: The crew did very well. The seats could have been a little more comfortable, the lumbar could have been a bit more stiff for lower back support, the arm rest up and down function did not work, and a little more space between rows and seats would have made it more comfortable.
Cons: The seats could have been a little more comfortable, the lumbar could have been a bit more stiff for lower back support, the arm rest up and down function did not work, and a little more space between rows and seats would have made it more comfortable. The bathroom was too narrow.
Cons: Making my connection would have been better & customer service was not good at all
Pros: Loved the new menu in1st. class.
Pros: The flight attendants on all three of my flights were nice and helpful as well as all the employees at each airport I visited. The food was good and I had a great time.
Pros: I like their new designed overhead lockers. Good job Alaska airlines for making this Practical change.
Cons: Since Alaska airlines now has good overhead storage for everyone, why not begin loading with the window seats and then working toward the aisle for more efficient loading time?
Pros: Short flight
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Cons: My luggage is somewhere else and I have fishing trip tomorrow and no cloths to keep warm.
Pros: Easy, friendly, plenty of leg room on the flight.
Cons: Seat comfort
Pros: Boarding process was smooth and efficient Bathroom was clean.
Cons: Very little personality of maim cabin FA. Cordial and courteous. Nothing being that. Small jet but one main cabin bathroom?
Pros: Cheap to upgrade to first class, friendly staff efficient boarding.
Cons: WiFi network was broken.
Cons: Chair was not working could not adjust Media entertainment system was not working at all. We were told these items had been broken for over two weeks. Makes you wonder about the mechanics of the rest of the airplane
Pros: Crew were attentive and professional but very friendly and appeared to genuinely enjoy interacting with passenger - something you don’t always see on airlines.
Cons: Seats are a little worn but honestly, we boarded a flight that was half empty and each had a row to ourselves so really have nothing to complain about.
Cons: Flight was delayed due to a maintenance issue. We were put on a different plane and departed. Staff was very helpful.
Pros: Comfort of the plane, especially compared to other airlines.
Cons: I said hello to the stewardess upon boarding the plane and they were busy chatting about something on a cell phone. They never even acknowledged I spoke to them.
Pros: Great staff Great lighting for red eye to promote sleep no turbulence!
Pros: In flight entertainment options. TV, Movies & Music. Great selection...and its free!
Cons: Boarding was long and arduous. But I believe this to be the case with most airlines.
Pros: Very happy with both the service and crew!
Pros: The plane was a good ride and comfortable seating, the staff was superb. I have recently flew Southwest, United, American, and Delta, Alaska was by far the best for non-first class travel.
Cons: Gogo is a no go. The CEO of whomever supplies it should be made to sit in a seat, handed his cell phone, and told to get wifi. By the time he is ready to throw his cell phone out the window, he will fire ten programmers. Guys! It shouldn't be this damn much work. I asked other flyers, they said, "not using it, couldn't figure it out." Here's a blast, - quit charging, have it show up as a wifi hotspot on a cell phone, you push a button for connect, and voila- THAT IS HOW IT SHOULD WORK.
Cons: A representative in Portland refused to reassign my ticket knowing I was going to miss my connecting flight at the next airport (SeaTac). I was told by another representative that there were still available seats on the flight that would have allowed me to make my connecting flight to Bellingham at seatac.
Pros: We boarded on time.
Cons: Had to wait an hour to get clearance for take off. Why even bother with a 2" x 1" cookie?! My first time with Alaska. Nothing to brag about. Don't know if you're responsible for the charging stations at the gate, but few of them worked.
Pros: Excellent crew.
Pros: Great pilot and flight attendants. Very friendly and accommodating.
Pros: Smoothest missed approach and go-around in localized early AM Portland ground fog (I am ATP pilot myself). Bravo - nearly no one else of the passengers even noticed!!
Pros: Free movies, able to text in flight
Cons: Annoying seat neighbor with bright light and computer screen on during entire late night flight.
Pros: Premium class seating has great leg room
Cons: We upgraded to premium seating because when looming on the website it said there were plugins. There are no plugins in premium seating only first class.
Pros: The bisquit cookies.
Cons: The staff weren't that friendly! Gone are the helpful employees! My daughter's seat wouldn't go back and they did nothing to accommodate her! LAME! Not overly friendly, need to take notes from JetBlue!
Cons: Flight delay, unhelpful crew.
Pros: um...I got home?
Cons: Ugh where to start. First my flight from Oakland was delayed an hour, and while they did rebook me a flight (with a 3-hour layover in Seattle), they couldn't keep me in a first-class seat and didn't offer anything to compensate for that. This was my first time (and probably last time) treating myself to a first-class flight, and I was kind of looking forward to that seat...although I understand if flights are full.. When I arrived (an hour late) in Seattle, the gate was shown as N2, about ten thousand miles away from my debarking gate in the C section. After walking halfway there, I stopped at an Alaska desk to AGAIN verify info and ask if someone could PLEASE CHECK and see if I could keep my first-class seating, since I PAID for one originally and the delay was airline-based. They blandly told me the flights were full and everyone had checked in already, and then mentioned that the gate had been changed BACK to C section, so hike back another 5000 miles to where I started. Wait three hours. I did check in at the gate as well, yet again, to beg with my best smiley-face and see if the girls could find me a first class spot or put me on standby, since I PAID for it. They said, sadly, no it's all full and checked in. Wait and wait. When I finally did board, I noticed that the info board said that "two upgrade requests" had been filled. What? Seriously? Is that MY FIRST CLASS SEAT YOU JUST GAVE SOMEONE? *frowns slightly* Walked through the already-seated first-class cabin, noticing that TWO OF THEM are empty. I was seated in the middle between a regular dude and this woman who is apparently running her company and having a conference call loudly on her phone, right in my ear. So yes, we understand: She's important. After sitting for a few minutes, I finally buzzed an attendant, who finally arrived, and asked her AGAIN, if she could please check if there any first class seats open, because that is what I PAID FOR and I'd appreciate finishing my trip as it was origanally booked. She said she'd check. AND THEN DISAPPEARED FOREVER. Never did see her again. A few minutes later, yet another attendant walked down the aisle with a clipboard, checking for open seats and I'm thinking she's coming to tell me that yes, there's been an opening and one of those 2 empty seats is mine and please go ahead and move. But no. She walks on by and says something about adding more standby people to some empty seats. I'm literally biting my tongue. Then, before I can say anything, these TWO GUYS come flailing down the gangway and bail into the two lovely EMPTY first-class seats in front of me. *scowl* I'm sorry, but unless they were late getting to the plane, and those were actually their seats (could be true), this whole thing was handled very strangely. I never fly first class anyway, and I understand delays and full flights, but it would have been nice to have anyone even attempt to help me finish my trip in the class that I had PAID FOR.
Pros: Friendly crew, pilot updated us as we progressed, pointing out landmarks.
Cons: Boarded early, then was delayed in departure. It was a warm day in achorage and way too hot on the plane until we took off.
Pros: There was more leg room than usual which was very nice. Free mimosa was fun.
Cons: Service cart was in the aisle too much. Passengers couldn't get to the bathroom
Pros: Flight attendants friendly
Cons: Food is a microwaved t.v. dinner at best.
Pros: The personnel. Everyone was friendly & helpful!
Cons: Delayed 2 1/2 hours from SD to HI, and delayed 1 hour from HI to SD. My seat was so worn out that I felt the springs. Terribly uncomfortable - but the flight attendant was kind and gave me a blanket to sit on. It helped a bit but shouldn't happen.
Cons: No complaints:)
Pros: The captain kept us fairly informed on the issue. The crew mare a great effort to accommodate passengers with a snack and updates on connecting flight issues.
Cons: I had to sit on a plane on the ground longer than my flight was supposed to take.
Cons: Wouldn’t know, couldn’t make it and the rebooking for a new flight was a nightmare
Cons: My eyes were watering and my nose was itchy for the entire flight and I had to hold back sneezes and I think there was something in the air on the plane that was causing this to happen. I was double-masking and I do not have allergies. I wonder if it had to do with the chemicals used to disinfect the plane between flights? I was not very comfortable, to say the least. Everything else was great, though, but I don’t think I will be flying again anytime soon.
Pros: A crew member saw me struggling to walk and offered a wheelchair, explained to me that I would be met with one throughout my trip. Her name was Donna!! Problem occurred when we got to Dallas.
Cons: Instead of circling in the sky, they could have had the pilot take the alternate route he eventually took anyway, in the first place. My family and I still don’t know if we’re going to get a flight to El Paso/ stand by. So much 4 seeing my armyson before he deploys, recipient time waisted over bad decisions on to of everything else, entitled woman on the plane insults me on the lane for no reason. The crew was amazing though.
Pros: I was cramped being a man of fair size. Which honestly quite made the flight even better.
Cons: I can't think of a thing the crew could have done better. Top Notch!
Cons: The attendants attitude.
Cons: 6 hour delay
Pros: Great airplane. Enjoy the 2 seat rows.
Pros: Everything was generally great I don’t have any complaints.
Cons: Well it’s nothing you can change I was pleased that the flight took 8 hours instead of 9 but because we were early it was a bit inconvenient that Heathrow had us do a “hard” arrival I think that’s what it was called so instead of a gate we got off on the tarmac.
Cons: Certain crew members could've been a bit more approachable and friendly.
Pros: The friendly informative team when we learned our plane broke. I switched to Charlotte connection earlier as a Miami one made no sense as Miami is south of Atlanta final destination. We had a different outcome than expected yet staff cared for us.
Cons: Plane better maintained as before take off a hydraulic part broke and we were grounded . We arrived home hours later than planned because of this.
Pros: My bag was lost!!!
Cons: To have my bag delivered
Cons: On time
Cons: A 41 min flight took 4 hrs..AGAIN. LAST THREE TRIPS AVERAGED 5 HRS LATE
Cons: After this I need direct flight from DXB to LAX
Cons: Departing on time...30 minutes late.
Pros: Very professional and timely. My last six flights with American have been without a hitch and right on time. If I were a business traveler, which I am not, American Airlines would be my go to carrier. Quite satisfied with this airline and have been for a long time. Thanks!
Pros: The crew
Cons: I just don’t understand how a flight can be delayed three hours from weather the day before. And, of course, we arrived and there was no gate for us. They had three hours to have a gate ready for us. AA fail!
Cons: See above
Pros: Check in
Cons: Missed connection
Pros: Staff were nice and courteous.
Cons: The plane was very old and didn't have entertainment for a 7 hour international flight. Seems like AA is stuck in the past.
Cons: They charge for coffee.
Cons: There was no food or entertainment so the rating there doesn't mean anything. Flight was delayed 1 hour due to a mechanical issue. Part of the delay included AA trying to get the flight crew to show up at the gate. The flight was oversold so there was a long list of standbys which added to the crowd waiting at the gate.
Pros: I slept the entire way because our flight was delayed and This was a connection flight for me but had now slept all day!!
Cons: Supposed to leave saturday, but didnt cause the lady at airlines said i need a visa when i did not need a visa.now its tuesday in austrailia and im stuck in airport because quantos doest know where my bags are. This trip is turning or turned into a total disaster!
Pros: Pilot kept informing us what was happening...
Cons: Plane already late, then 15 minute taxi, then they could not drive the walkway up to us correctly so another 10 minutes wasted. We missed our connecting flight... rescheduled with different airlines much later. Missed a whole day out of our three day visit. Airline travel at its normal worst!
Pros: Worst experience. Crew members did not show up on time which pushed everything 2 hours behind and lost connecting flight. Crew said there was customer service available but no one at airport to help. Will never fly AA again
Pros: Standard AA domestic flight. Once we were boarded and underway, things were fine. Crew was friendly, the aircraft was cleaned on the turn from the prior flight, and we didn't sit on the tarmac too long when arriving at DFW. Normal operations for AA domestic.
Cons: Unfortunately, normal operations for AA domestic means boarding 20-30 minutes late, which delayed the arrival a bit. In general, AA could provide more accurate updates and boarding information for their flights. For example, if the inbound aircraft arrives at the time my flight should be boarding, I want to see an updated departure time, rather than maintaining the "on time" status right up until five minutes before the new boarding time. Generally it takes 25-30 minutes to turn the plane for the next outbound flight.
Pros: Smooth flight, takeoff, and landing. Efficient boarding and unloading plane. Excellent timing of departure and arrival. Crew was efficient.
Cons: No leg room. No food. No entertainment. Long taxi time to gate after landing at DFW. Crew all business not that friendly.
Pros: Crew was nicw
Cons: Now pay significant more for carry on bags for another mediocre airline where it is not significantly cheaper.
Pros: Like my AA rides > 90% of the time. The usual prob is sketchy gogo service.
Cons: Nogo gogo
Cons: Late to Tulsa again.l
Cons: Plane was dirty and crew inattentive.
Pros: Short flight, nothing much to say.
Pros: The crew on both flights to Cancun were very nice!! thanks
Pros: Speedy boarding, friendly crew.
Cons: Seats are definitely cramped.
Cons: flight delayed in Mazatlan 115 minutes, although told time would be made by pilot, not true.. No help in DFW, missed flight, had tickets in first and had to settle for coach 3 hrs. later.
Pros: The flights were on time
Cons: I purchased the flight as a British airways flight when it was really an American airlines flight.
Pros: Lots on in-flight entertainment.
Cons: Nothing, I pretty much just slept the whole time.
Pros: The gate agent was having a bad night because she did not get a break. I am platinum pro and would not upgrade me because she said I was not on the list but she put 2 people in first who were not even advantage members
Cons: This flight transfer was totally ridiculous, and required me to exit security, take a bus, get through security again, take another bus, and then wait in a crappy gate with one single terrible food option. Whoever thinks this is a reasonable transfer ought to be subjected to it themselves before booking it for others.
Pros: Flight was smooth and ontime
Cons: Flight was extremely expensive.
Cons: Paid for upgraded seats to get more legroom in main cabin. But legroom in Row 6 was still cramped.
Pros: The flight arrived early which was nice. But that's the only good thing about this flight.
Cons: From checking my bag to leaving the plane in Dallas, I felt like AA employees thought passengers were just in the way. It was almost as if the flight attendants were traveling to Dallas and they happened to have to take care of passengers along the way. There were very few smiles, hellos, or how can I help you. It was almost always and grunt and what do you want? The personal device entertainment was very buggy. the movie I tried to watch kept skipping, like on old scratched CD.
Pros: It wasn't bad for an American based international flight, but also not wonderful. Crew was great. Snacks were good. The extensive entertainment options were great and enjoyed extensively.
Cons: The vegetarian options were AWFUL. Like, really really bad. Seats seemed smaller than previous flights.
Cons: I selected an aisle seat because I have very bad anxiety and when I got there to print off my ticket I was assigned a middle seat. It was very uncomfortable
Pros: Friendly crew
Cons: Flight was late eariving at gate in Dallas and missed connection to Nashville. However, was put on a flight that left just 2 hours later
Pros: Good flight! Smooth landing!
Cons: The flight was cancelled without notification.
Cons: After having my flight delayed 4 hours causing me to miss my connection, I was placed stand by on a different flight through another city so I could try and make it home on time. I was the first person in line for stand by, but the flight was full so I knew it was a long shot. Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening.
