They tried to request ppl to take next day flight by giving away 300 gift card etc. the ppl who were told there are no seats upset and arguing at the gate. Flight was delayed for one hour. Once we are on airplane, they are still shuffling seats around, so ppl cannot move forward. Just standing there for 10mins waiting for things to settle. Flight attendants did not give us a headphone. (I have a headphone for iPhone X so I could not connect it to their entertaiment system.)"

Disney tried hard to fix problem, and even gave us something to ameliorate the situation. Delta took hard line, wasn't helpful and gave nothing. It took 2 days to find bag."

I like that I can choose the entertainment I want and that everything is at my fingertips including flight info, food and beverage options, etc. it’s relatively comfortable but it’s not near the level of Virgin America or JetBlue."
Cons: "I’m not sure if it is due to LAX construction but it is chaotic at the airport. It is super confusing where you need to go, drop bags, etc. the weird part is Check in was in terminal 3 and gate at terminal 2. That is a long walk back and forth. There is probably a more efficient way of doing this. Besides that, they need to do a better job communicating that seats are changing and not Reggy before boarding. Though I can understand it can get crazy because people will panic but it’s not great heading up to enter in not knowing if you are sitting in window when you picked it for a reason. Otherwise, everything went smoothly."

They failed to provide me with hardly anything besides 2 blankets and a few remoistened hand wipes to clean up vomit and was very rude when I asked to change seats, even though there were at least 8 other seats open on the flight."

It was a very nice gentleman that gave me a ride to the gate and even stopped to let me use the bathroom. Thumbs up *****"
Cons: "The fact that I was charged $150 to check a small cosmetics bag is no loose change ! I would have carried it on but my hand is in a brace and I has to have extensive surgery. Then yoy get to the gate, and they repeatedly asked for volunteers to check their bags for free. I think this is a very unfair policy and try to explain it to the curbside attendant. I literally cannot carry more than five pounds in my left hand until I get bone replacement surgery. I'm also having knee surgery soon and this small additional weight would be caused me excruciating pain ! They didn't care and still charged me $150 for a bag thats no bigger than 12 inches and weighs less than ten pounds. Thats the way you treat your first class passengers? One other quick note: the sausage and egg sandwich? that was served for breakfast was absolutely horrible! Thumbs down !"

While it always goes relatively quickly I feel it should be more organized and folks made to follow a system. Cramming right up against the ticket counter doesn't do anyone any good."

We were sitting in the back and could hear the things that she was saying about my grandson and myself. She was rude, snotty, had a sassy mouth. I was COMPLETELY APPALLED as to the way we were treated by her. It was a long flight to have someone you felt was bullying you the whole flight to the moment we were exiting the plane. Karma will come back to her one day..."

Cons: "I felt singled out by the gate agents for this leg of the flight. The gate agent called me out twice - once just to check if my carry on fit into the sample size container. Then she did it again when we were boarding. I know she knew she'd already asked me before. Because afterwards, she tried to play it off, laughing and saying "I'd already asked you, didn't it". My carry on fit with ease. There were people with larger suitcases all around me but she continuously singled me out."

Cons: "Delta downsized the plane overbooked by 35, reassigned our seating that we made three months ago so we no longer could sit next to each other. My wife had to sit in one row I had to sit in another Delta did all this without contacting us. This was done to many of the passengers. The seats are getting as ridiculously narrow, I thought I was on Spirit Airlines! Now Delta is charging for bags! One reason I had stayed with Delta was although the ticket prices were higher the bags were free, now higher ticket prices and bag fees! Guess I will have to search for another air carrier. Delta is not loyal to me so I won't be loyal to Delta! Fuel is cheaper so they raise fees!"

Cons: "The flight was over booked, at the point of boarding there was no room left on the flight for any carry on’s so they wanted everyone to check bags one particular lady at the gate snatched my husbands boarding pass out of his had and threw it back at him so it landed on the floor. She came back with a checked bag ticket, this bag could have fit under the seat. We would have preferred not to check the bag because it had everything in it we needed access to like medication, ear buds, book, tablet, it also contained my Jewlery and various other things. The lady was extremely rude when I told her I prefer not to check the bag, she said we could take everything out of the bag we needed but that would have been 70 % of what was in the bag, where was I supposed to put all this stuff? My small purse was already full. my husband was upset at her treatment and said something to her and she told us we where welcome to book another flight. I paid a hell of a lot of money on this flight alone plus upgraded our seats with extra legroom. Once on the plane the seating was so crammed, uncomfortable and no legroom. My seat reclined but my husbands did not. I will never fly American Airlines again."

Weather I can understand, but telling us we are waiting on a specific crew to arrive and then announcing that crew is not for our flight was just terrible communication. No one seemed apologetic. The only thing they did was bring a snack cart over for us, and that got raided by children so many people didn't get anything. We had arranged transport from Orlando to Tampa for that evening, and our rides had to cancel because instead of 7pm we were now arriving at 130am. Your airline's mistakes put everyone at an inconvenience and we weren't offered assistance to fix it. My husband went to ask for help in arranging new transport home, but he couldn't even get to the front of the line. The customer service was terrible. We really enjoyed our first leg of the flight home with American Airlines, but after the second leg and all of the problems we had... we will not fly with American Airlines in the future."

Several people weren't given seat assignments until time to board, even if other people in their party were assignments seats when checking in. No ecplanaation of why. In flight entertainment was an older movie. No options, and no sound if you forgot your own headphones."

The majority of the airline crew largely ignored us and showed mediocre customer service."

Cons: "Ticket agent said I could take my bag on the plane. Gate agent told me my bag not I were going on the plane unless I paid $50 to put the bag below if I wanted to get in the plane. Very matter of fact & rude. I was just about the last person they let board so there really wasn't a chance to discuss with them. No WiFi on a cross country plane, lame. No access to the headrest video screen w/o paying for it, lame. Snotty unconcerned flight attendants as well. Overall one of the worst flights I've had in memory. I would pay more next time to fly another airline."
Pros: "I had no problems the gate agent was very nice and I did get the basic economy which that only did I have to pay for my bags but I also got the last seat in the back in the corner which is OK I guess I’ll pay more attention to the fair I still probably saved a little money but I don’t know that I save that much I think that sometimes the boarding agent needs to pay attention to the carry-on luggage for sure bring a lot carry-on luggage which doesn’t allow for others to have carry-on luggage who were in the later groups and then they get penalized with their bags being checked as there’s no more room and they’re not basic economy but other than that I like taking United they have nonstop service between Orlando in Houston and it’s been a wonderful experience most of the time and I think the airlines do a pretty good job considering the traveling public themselves to be very challenging at times professionalism and courtesy works both ways and unfortunately people buy tickets and think that it’s a one-way street. they then run to the media who loves to make it about the big guy versus the little guy anyway good job united and I will continue to fly you when you’re the most appropriate carrier to get me to where I want to be."

Airline claimed we bought the basic ticket which doesn't allow you a seat choice, or boarding passes without a checked bag and there was no mention of this basic ticket upon the purchase. Then after you take off they explain you need the United app to watch their entertainment, but you can't download it without purchasing a $24. WiFi. They charge higher prices but act like a discount airline. My last trip with them."

The counter attendent waltzed in after boarding had already started and treated the issue like it was a joke. I ended up seated in between two hot messes of people which made the flight seriously uncomfortable, there were no other options supposedly for me. There weren't even options for me to pay the outrageous pick a seat option when I was doing my preflight check in 24 hours in advance."

Already frustrated, and with my knees hitting the seat in front of me because the seats are too close together, a flight attendant scolded me when I dared put my leg in the aisle (which I often do on other airlines without incident). Once on the ground, I went straight to United's baggage office to see if my bag had followed me, and encountered two of the rudest people, cutting me off whenever I said anything more than they needed to enter into their computer. If your job is in customer service, be friendly, apologize when things go wrong, understand that your customers are your reason for being in business, and be helpful."

Most view I saw was the back side of the agents heads. Let's not add the fact of carry on costs of $45 each way AND you have to pay for everything you eat or drink on these flights! Literally the saying goes "it costs peanuts" I mean a few peanuts! For crying out loud you have to pay for peanuts! In my humble option a few very low cost items could improve this airline... they should make those changes effective immediately if they want to see higher reviews."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed 2 hours leaving San Francisco going to Orlando. My mother checked a bag which cost $35. The ticketing agent picked up her bag and slammed it down on the conveyor belt. I was so shocked at the rough handling of my mothers belongings and the fact that the agent didn't give a care. My sister and I were charged $45 each for our carry-on bags. They began boarding us but the flight crew made us wait on the walkway to the plane for 15 minutes before they let us on the plane. The flight crew was rude and disorganized. The seats did not recline, next no padding and the chair back in front had no padding at all. There were no complimentary drinks or food provided on the 5 hr flight. We were threatened by the passenger behind us twice but no assistance was given by the flight crew. We are extremely disappointed and will never fly Frontier again. We should have paid the extra money to fly Delta from TPA which would have taken 2 hours off of our drive time. We visited Frontier's website which provides nothing but excuses for why they charge extra for EVERYTHING. Overall Frontier may have some of the cheaper flights but after you're done paying for the extras you may as well fly with a carrier that provides more comfort and better service. Frontier has lost our business."

We were told they were on "lunch" and we couldn't drop our bags until they finished. There was at least 15 people waiting on Frontier reps to show up and check us in. After that time suck flight was delayed again. Plane was filthy. After looking over the total for the flight it really doesn't save you any money after all the extra fees and poor service. I'll pay more to fly on an airline that shows up."

Received no email, phone call, text or anything to tell me the flight was canceled. Not even one Frontier employee was at the airport to explain the situation. They just left a stack of papers to say the flight was canceled and they weren't offering anymore flights that day. Had to book one on another airline for the next day, so called Frontier to get reimbursed (they said very clearly on the paper that they would reimburse up to $400 in another airline) and spent over two hours on the phone getting passed around from person to person who said they couldn't help me. Still no idea if I'll be getting reimbursed. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE."

One flight attendant even smacked a phone out of someone's hands! Will take a miracle to get me and my family to ever fly frontier again. Worse flight experience ever."

Preceded to runway, de-iced, no announcement. ( my seat mate , southerner hadn't known what was happening). Servive and attitude was definitely a 1 and pilots were first off plane. This was on top of our Orlando to Denver flight that was delayed 8 hours with no weather related cause. We had to rebook on another airline. Frontier said, every flight is only a 50% chance of on time departure!!!! Way too much for 79 year olds. We are an airline family so recognize the "care less" attitude. Never Frontier again."

The frontier employees were at gate early and never came to assist me. I waited for an hour until my flight left. You can imagine how furious I was- ridiculous for me to have this kind of experience. Thankfully united airlines got me on plane. Never flying frontier again."

Cons: "I didn't know that they were going to charge me $30 each way for CARRY-ON!!! They wanted extra money just to put your party together. I was flying by myself so I didn't care, but they wanted 25/seat to sit in the middle of the plane per person. I have a family of 7 (5 kids 8 and under) and had we been flying together that would have been a surprise round trip expense of $250 for seats and probably $400-500 in baggage. I would have been very upset. You pay for soft/juice drinks and small snacks. The 'free' water I asked for/received didn't have ice. I assume that was extra, but I wouldn't know b/c the lady who gave it to me was off before I could even ask. I was starting to think they were going to make me pay for a seat belt. I have recently booked another flight to Arizona on frontier before I left on this one and I am already dreading that flight. I will not be going on Frontier again nor recommend it to anyone else."

The seats, the screaming kids, and the especially the kid that the parent did not have in control and was running down the isle when we were in landing position, the captain sitting in front of my other half looked at him and told him to go sit down, my colleague say next to them the parent did not have him buckled up because he said he did not like it! Needless to say my friend was all flipped out after we landed! We had to calm him down! Oh well."

Cons: "If you don't prepay for your checked bags online, they charge you more at the ticket counter for no reason. The Web site is very buggy and full of errors. It took forever to prepay for our checked bags. We even had to call their online support staff because their Web site is so full of bugs. They also charge even more for a carryon bag than a checked bag -- which is ridiculous -- so the entire overhead bins were empty. Insane. A few of the ticket counter staff were lazy rude utter morons. Others were helpful. The planes seem very old. The seats are uncomfortable and small. No entertainment system. Every little thing has an exorbitant cost -- including coffee or coke -- on a 4 hour flight. It's cheap ---- but not cheap enough for the horrible experience and lack of service and lack of quality or comfort. Buses are much more comfortable."

They didn't have gin though it was on the menu, as expensive as the alcohol was that I did buy, the mixer should have come with it. The fact that one has to pay for a carry on is ridiculous! On to of it all the flour was late boarding. I was not impressed with frontier. Pros: "Frontier encourages you to check your bag by offering a lower fee for checking than carrying the bag onto the plane This made getting into and out of the plane so much quicker The seats were comfortable enough and I had my own food and beverages so did not need to purchase any."
Cons: "My reasonable priced ticket went up $104 by the time I paid to check my bag and pick a seat. I would rather gate check my bag and get it when I exit the plane because it took over an hour for it to come to baggage claim."

I liked how they provided me with a $100 voucher to make up for my delayed flight and allowed me to use it to pay for my carry on bag and seat on my return flight."
Cons: "The flight was scheduled to take off at 8:00 but was delayed over 8 hours until 4:30pm. It was then delayed again and ended up take off at around 530pm. Then upon landing we were told there was no gate available and we ended up sitting on the runway about 20 minutes. So I got off the plan about 10 hours after I was scheduled to get off the plane. I also didn't like that you had to pay for everything: checked bags, carry on bags, snacks, soda. I mean I thought we would at least get one free cup of soda."

Could have made snacks and non alc drinks free. NO NO NO. We had to pay another $11 for water, apple juice, food and GL of wine. SERIOUSLY. WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT??? Missed several opportunities for "Little things that count". Give all $300 to one of us for a free ticket-we won't be flying with our grandson again. I will give you a chance to fix that. Not a threat a promise."

Pros: "Bad experience I was sitting in the last row and half way through the flight one of the toilets got clogged and started to overflow and smell up the area. There was a puddle of water running down towards the isle and the crew member was telling her colleagues to leave it alone and let it run so she can see how bad it gets for when we land. Extremely unsanitary and unexceptable to travel with that smell and conditions. Plus to top it all off towards the end the overhead bin got jammed and I had to wait for someone to pop in open, again its unfortunate I had to go through this. Never again, I would not recommend spirit sorry."

I waited at the airport for until 1:30am before I got a confirmation that the back was in fact at Newark still. I had a nursing convention to go to and I had no clothing. So I had to Uber to Walmart than Uber back to my hotel. So I didn’t get any sleep. I didn’t check into my hotel til 4am due to a negligent spirit employee. I paid for the checked bag and there was plenty of space in the over head compartment. She caused me unnecessary stress and an embarrassing morning with my administrators due to my lack of sleep."

Unacceptable. TSA precheck is a convenience for passengers and, more importantly, an added level of security for TSA personnel. Prechecked passengers have already been background screened. These passengers are known safe entities in an uncertain security environment. Each person prechecked is one less security threat TSA needs to assess, meaning TSA can focus more effort on potential threats. Denying a precheck customer precheck status makes everyone's life more difficult. Fix your system, then train employees on how to appropriately deal with these issues."

I called Spirit customer service representative and changed my flight to avoid the worst of the weather. They were able to make the changes and honor the seating arrangements I had made for my family of five. Great experience!!"

Pros: "The price is right for the base fare, but Spirit gets you with all the extra fees. Baggage cost is very high, and higher at the airport if you don't 'pre-purchase' bags to check online. The weight allowance for checked bags is only 40 pounds with massive fees for heavier bags, and they charge for carry on, too. Checking just one 30 pound bag doubled my total cost of flying, and it would have been more if I hadn't pre-purchased. They even charge for water on the plane, which I find really bad. Maybe it's just me, coming from Australia where you're legally required to provide free water, but this rubs me up the wrong way. They also charge if you need agent assistance to check in at the airport. The staff were all very polite and friendly, and the overall experience was fine, but the extra fees do NOT make it worth it. It makes the guests feel unwelcome and each extra step and extra charge makes the whole experience more stressful and complicated. You could pay a slightly higher base fare with United, for example, but probably save money with more generous baggage/check-in procedures, and have a worry-free experience, too. The staff were great; it's the company policies I have a problem with."

Supervisor in Cleveland was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in all my years of flying. So I had to stay another day. I had my child car seat in a plastic bag and it came back with the bag shredded, black marks on the seat and soaked."

Not TSA Prechek, charged for a carry on, had no APP to check in, wouldn't check in on iPad had to be on a computer, kept asking for additional add ons, had to pay $20 to specifically order a seat bc of my injured leg. Wheelchair staff at both airports said that Spirit is always a problem for them, no wheelchair waiting for me at the gate & received no help from staff."

Cons: "The flight was purchase because I thought I was getting a good fair but found that everything accommodating on the flight was priced, luggage check was way overpriced and inconvenience to do on line for the few dollars it saved you, and the seating is very uncomfortable no recline and to close for any normal knee room especially for taller customers also your planes are no clean floors had old gum that was never cleaned up not a great experience at all !!!!!"

Cons: "I booked a flight with my family, later I added my girlfriend. Obviously we wanted the same flight. Spirit uses the same flight numbers for all of their flights daily. The spirit lady booked the flight for my girlfriend and booked her the wrong day. She can't fly by herself. We ended up buying another set of tickets through frontier. Talked to 4 people through Spirut none understood good enough English. poor poor poor service. Never again."

Cons: "Absolutely terrible in all other respects. After delaying the flight for 20 minutes or so (due to "maintenance issues"), the employee came on and said that the flight was cancelled. Not that Spirit would bring a new plane so we could all still fly out. Not that they would be taking a little longer to fix the issue. No, just that it was cancelled. Then, when the herd of people went to the ticket counter to get new flights or refunds, no one was there for about 30 minutes. When they finally arrived, they were unwilling to compensate for my $30 taxi ride. And they were generally unkind and unhelpful. This is unacceptable; I will not book Spirit again. Thank you for your understanding."

Cons: "Showed up almost an hour early to Cleveland airport to fly to another state. The lady tried telling us we missed our trip because she made us go to the kiosk to only get denied by the kiosk and having to go back to her for her to deny us until we flipped out making her realize it's her fault. Charged us extra for carry on baggage because the checked baggage "wouldn't make it." Writing that in a note that we were late...even though it was her fault we were. Our tickets were 218 dollars each we ended up paying 200 dollars for our baggage because you have to pay for both trips which is another round trip ticket to Florida because the lady never told us in Cleveland that we had to buy both ways. Everything on the plane to order was a cost not even water was complimentary. On the way back we got to the airport two hours early to find no one at the counter to help us at the gate...she showed up only about 30 minutes before we boarded, real professional...but we cut our vacation by an hour and a half because we "have to come 90 minutes ahead" to find none of the spirit crew members to be even present. Everything was inconvenient with this airline and not pleasant. Only positive was a lady in Fort Lauderdale that helped us figure out our luggage and did what she could to save us a bit of money. We will never take this airline again."
Pros: "liked the cost. flight was good plane was clean but could have been a bit cleaner (windows) seats we good (could have been a little softer) I noticed that some of the flight crew were not as focused on their attention to the passengers. I did notice that the stewardess in our area (who sat right in front of me (exit seat )) was on her cell phone texting or playing a game or what ever young people do on their phones. as a travelling public person, my comfort level or expectation is that all the time I am on board, that the crew is on duty and focused on their duties, which should include, not being distracted by using personal electronic devises at anytime. Secondly, the uniforms that the attendants wore seemed to be a little less cared for or clean as other airlines. Lastly, (this may be picky,) but it seemed that the hair of a few of the attendants seemed unkempt at a level in keeping with the beautiful airplane we were in. There was a steward that came on the plane who looked light his shirt was too big (collar was too big for his neck) as was the size of his coat. As a business owner myself, I appreciate the small things, as these can be the things that overshadows all of the other things we do to provide a good product, service or experience for our customers. Personal inner Professionalism is a mindset that transcends and fuels ongoing service, at levels which a rule book alone cannot attain. (employees who are proud of where they work, who they work with and for, end up delivering on our promises as owners.) I like your web site and appreciate the "fun" you have built into it. I understand the message it sends, but as we know, most people expect the lower fares from Spirit, but don't get the steps you must take to be able to provide those fairs and still cover ALL THE BILLS. Cons: "Wow, the comments below are all similar.. Look, Prices should be announced as: (ex) Atl to Orlando $160+baggage.. <--- I've heard SO MANY complaints from passengers about baggage fees.. Look, If it's one of the only ways to get extra income, then a simple carryon fee for $25 should be attached accross the board* Even IF someone didn't have a carry on, the $25 should still be within the ticket- THAT WAY, you won't have disgruntled customers having to cough up an extra $50-100+ at the check-in.. AFTER they probably spent too much on their travel.. (Not saying only poor people take Spirit, but there IS a reason people fly with them.. Because it's supposed to be economical*"
Cons: "I had a serious a situation arise and needed to change my flight dates and the fees associated with that were ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Good ole American business screwing over their fellow Americans. I would have had to pay not only the price of the tickets over again but a bunch of other fees. Spirit you're a real letdown. You got my money this go around with tickets I wasn't able to use two of them but it won't happen again."

Cons: "I had a 6 am flight. At 5 am we were told that it would be delayed until 10:30. At 8 we were told it would be delayed until 11:30. At 11:20 they announce that our plane landed and just needed to unload and get cleaned and we could start boarding shortly. Two minutes claret we were told the flight was cancelled. They told us everyone would fit on the 3:49 flight that would arrive in Orlando at 4:10. By that time I was tired of waiting and just wanted to get to Orlando so I asked to get on the flight to Tampa that was leaving at 12:15. The airline wouldn't get me a flight that was with delta that would have leaf at 6:55. They only offered a seat on one of their later flights, a refund, or a $7 meal voucher. That meal voucher wasn't even enough to cover the cost of a bagel and coffee. Also when I purchased the ticket it didn't say anything about paying for a carry-on bag. When I got to the airport I found out I had to pay $55 to take my carry-on. This was my worst flight experience."
Pros: "The flight take off was delayed only briefly, but it arrived on time. The time for departure was very convenient for us."
Cons: "My 16 month old granddaughter's car seat and stroller was supposed to be delivered at the gait, but instead was delivered at the baggage claim area. The car seat was soaking wet and we had to use her blanket and some other clothing to make it partially suitable for her sit in her car seat. We fly 2-4 times a year on different airlines and with the pre-check status we are able to get through security rather quickly. In the absence of pre-check (because Spirit airlines does not have that facility) we were in the security check line for a long time. Our grand- daughter was upset and crying. Fortunately, eventually someone from the security department came to our assistance and expedited her and her parents' clearance"
Pros: "I flew Round-Trip LAX-CLE-LAX. Flight from CLE to LAX left on time and even arrived about 40 minutes ahead of schedule."
Cons: "I flew Round-Trip LAX-CLE-LAX. Flight from LAX to CLE was almost 3 hrs. delayed & we could not get a straight answer as to why. My biggest complaint is this airline needs to be much more transparent about the ACTUAL cost of flying w/ them versus what they advertise! It is ridiculous to have to pay $55.00 each way for a carry-on! For that same additional $110.00 I could have flown on a better airline that didn't have hidden fees, didn't try to check my carry-on at a higher rate & then get upset when I made them fix the error, didn't stick me in a cramped flying cattle car (more or less) with tiny seats that didn't even recline. The counter agents at LAX were helpful & friendly but not so at CLE. The agent there seemed very annoyed & was the one making the aforementioned error. I will NOT fly this airline again & wouldn't be surprised to see them go out of business."
