Even when going through the check and security points I used to go in a special route especially for the handicaped but going with all other normal travelers lines with such amount of time waiting and crowdness is completely inconvenient. what happened through the trip was quit different , going with the travelers or after when they are boarding the craft make it very hard and time consuming , Wish you take care of it, as it's a very important handicaped service. The flight arrived in BOS and I got to the gate at 6:15pm; with a flight departure of 6:25pm. I felt the gate agent handled the situation very poorly. Instead of letting me, and another passenger with the same situation as mine, let us know why the gate was closed 10 minutes prior to departure was rude and brusque and said sorry, nothing could be done. A simple explanation of why we couldn't board would have gone a long way. She finally barked out for us to go to Customer Service to re-route us. Customer Service was very slow and the agents had attitudes. I did get on an AA flight the next morning, including comp vouchers for dinner and breakfast, but I missed an entire day of the conference I was attending in Boston."

The whole experience went considerably better than we expected since we did not know how our son was going to handle it. All in all we were very happy thanks to the wonderful AA staff that helped us at each stop."

When we brought this up we were told only the gate agent could adjust. Although at the time there were seats together they were "economy plus." Not surprisingly the gate agent was very rude when we approached her with the issue, insinuated it was our fault, that we were extra trouble for traveling with 2 small children, and that we may have to be bumped. We were finally accommodated at the last second but it was unneeded stress. Also several flight attendants gave us a hard time for bringing aboard our infant car seat despite the fact it is FAA approved and we bought a seat for it and it is the current recommendation of the FAA to do so."

Cons: "When I went to the gate in Houston to get my boarding pass for my second leg, the lady at the gate counter yelled at me because I didn't know my seat assignment even though I had already explained that I didn't know because I didn't have a boarding pass. On my original booking, I had chosen my seat to be a window, but when they rebooked me they put me in a middle seat even though there was a completely empty row in front of me. Then, to top everything off, they forced me me check my rollerboard carry-on because they said there was no more room on the plane, but when I got on I could see multiple spaces were still available. Another passenger and I were left to wait nearly 5 minutes on the jetway while the gate counter rep went to print our checked luggage tags. I asked the stewardess why I had to check mine even though there was plenty of space, and she said "it's hard to tell sometimes how much room we're going to have left." She also didn't offer any apology. All in all it was a terrible experience. I had to wait unnecessarily at various points of the travel process, had to endure a layover that was more than double what I had planned for, was forced to check my carry-on at the gate, and worst of all I missed a really important meeting. United obviously does not care at all about economy customers. Don't trust this airline! Book on Southwest or JetBlue - they actually care about customer retention!"

Cons: "Both flights were INCREDIBLY delayed. First, the flight from San Jose was delayed 1.5 hours because they were "waiting for the aircraft." After everybody finally boarded the plane an announcement was made that somehow the luggage crew had damaged the cargo hold, and that everybody would have to deplane. It would take 45 minutes for maintenance crew to arrive to assess the situation. People got up, got their luggage out of the overhead bins, and started moving to the front of the plane. The pilot then came back on the intercom and told everyone they would have to return to their seats. Roughly an hour later we finally took off. It would have been the decent thing to do to AT LEAST offer the passengers something (i.e. comp drinks or snacks), but the cheapskates at United DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. Multiple people missed their connections. Fast forward to IAH--> SAT. Another late flight. This time, everybody boarded the plane only to be informed that due to a problem with the plane's computer everybody would have to sit on the plane while they "rebooted" its computers. This was done TWICE. UNITED AIRLINES, GET IT TOGETHER. There is a very good reason you are consistently ranked one of the WORST US-flagged carriers, which makes you one of the MOST HATED AIRLINES ON THE PLANET. I really and truly pray that the US airlines and their lobbyists lose their battle to prevent foreign flagged carriers from operating within the US, because you all deserve to go bankrupt."

There were even flyers getting on the plane to TX when they were traveling to other destinations because of the lack of communication and the crew not throughly checking. The crew was less than friendly and yelling down the aisle about buying snacks and other drinks although it was a late night flight and many people were sleeping. Overall, it was an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. Luckily the flight crew had a smooth flight and got us safely to San Antonio. Only positive about the experience with United. This was all taking place along with our flight being delayed with out the monitors at the airport being updated and no notification via text or the United app."

Cons: "I didn’t like the fact that you had to pay for your seat, after you have paid for your ticket. Why do you have to purchase two things? Next the price for taking a bag. It is too over priced to deliver your bags. A carry on is $40, a check in is $40. Why would you charge for a carry on? Other companies give you a free carry on and $25 for a check in. But not frontier you pay $40 just to bring a backpack. Then you have to pay for the drinks and snacks that they ask too much. $3 for a 50 cent snack, sounds great. The chairs are super uncomfortable, basically plastic seats with a sad excuse of a “cushion”. Looks nice all around, but nothing feels nice. Just everything feels so cheap. Then during my flight I try to get convinced to sign up for frontier credit card?! I have never been on a flight that they talk on the loud speaker for over 5 minutes about how great it is to sign up for their credit card. Don’t sell me stuff when I’m stuck. I can’t walk away I have to sit here and listen. All in all, I won’t be flying with this airline again. I will make sure to always go with someone else. Also make sure that no one I know, has this bad of an experience."

Then when I went to the airport the lady was pretty rude and said that it was incorrect and it would be dumb to do that and I wasn't allowed. Then I had to pay an extra fee as well. Once to the gate we were delayed and the plane was there the entire time. We were scheduled to take off at 6:55 and boarded at 7. No reason for the delay and they didn't keep us updated. I was not very happy with Frontier this time."

After having to make an emergency landing for medical reasons the whole crew was very accommodating and very friendly and cheerful unlike other airlines I have flown on. This was my first time flying on Frontier and I was very impressed. Will fly Frontier when ever possible."

We asked for their names to report them and they refused to give us their names. They lost half of our luggage. All of this was just the outbound flight. On our return flight we walked up to the gate right as they were closing the door. Thy refused to let us get on but offered to rebook us another flight 2 days later. Asked the speak to a manager and it turns out she was a manager....lol. We had to buy another flight on Southwest Airlines to the tune of $325. Pros: "The crew was awesome, especially on our return trip. I believe their names were Kris and Tait? They were hilarious, made the flight super fun! It was a flight and a show!"
Cons: "Our flight to Denver was delayed by 3 hours, there were no employees at the Frontier podium until about an hour before our flight was rescheduled to take off. So basically no one to answer any questions. Also, didn't really care for all the nickel and dimeing. I have never been charged for a carry on until I flew Frontier! And when I checked in I was charged to pick out my seats as well. After all was said and done, it doubled the price of my flight. I would rather they include those fees up front than hit you with them later. I like knowing how much I'm going to spend from the get go and pay once."

I'm not sure if I missed it when buying my ticket originally, but the seat should be in the actual price of the original ticket. When you go to check in was when I first noticed. Doesn't give you much of an option at that point since you can't stand for the flight. Being honest also includes being forthcoming at the start and having this know at first when booking as a part of the flight cost would be a good start. I may have decided to go with a different airline if I would have known."
Pros: "I liked the price, friendliness and efficiency of the crew, and the non-stop route. Overall, good service for a great price."
Cons: "I did not like the nickle dime charges. Charge for luggage and carry on's, $4 for a soft drink that costs 30 cents at the grocery store, small charges from $6 to $50 to pick your seat, tray tables were extremely small, and the legroom was about an inch to short. Guy next to me was over 6'4", so he had to encroach into my seating area so his legs would fit."

I traveled with my 13 inch laptop and when I tried to work, their tiny tray tables couldn't even hold my laptop properly. Overall, I was NOT impressed and will not likely fly Frontier again."
