Cons: "honesty. 29 minute flight took 3 hours. first they blamed it on waiting for luggage, then they likely realized there were no connecting fllights, so that excuse didn't work, then they were 'closing the cargo doors' for 45 minutes, then they had to de-ice as the plane had now sat for 4 hours instead of 45 minutes, had it left on time."

Pros: "The flight itself was excellent. Friendly, helpful, kind — great attendants and crew."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 4 hours. We never found out why exactly. That was a little tough but staff was great"

WHY would that not be ready when it was time?!) so we left 30 minutes late, didn’t make up any lost time at all in the air and we ended up missing our connecting flight because of it all."

Cons: "An explanation as to why the flight was cancelled, as well as help with finding alternative accommodation. We had to fly back very early via Atlanta, and spent the day in transit, which forced us to cancel a reservation in Omaha and erased our ability to enjoy the final day of activities there."

Cons: "This was an older, smaller plane and it had more leg room. Appears I’ll have to start checking Delta to see what birds flying the leg."

Pros: "Seat was narrow from side to side; so short from front to back that only half my thigh was supported; hard; and pitched slightly forward from uneven wear. This was an exit row, so I had legroom at least. I’m 5’4” and trim. A taller, or broader person would not fit!"

Cons: "Perfect day outside, not a busy day or time to fly. The email forbhe plane being late was was too last minute. A heads up sooner would have been nice. That way we’re not waiting at the airport."

Pros: "The gate agent for this flight was a terrific multi-tasker. He was the only one at the gate managing both the incoming flight and my outgoing flight and he handled everything so efficiently, and with patience for customers' questions. He represented Delta very well."

Pros: "I have always known of airlines to offer preboarding to those military members in uniform or on official orders. Delta took it one step further and allows prior service members to board also."

Cons: "I have traveled with my luggage plenty of times through airports and the flight from washington to jacksonville, my luggage came back to me cracked and broken. I was surprised that Delta handling was worse than any of the cheaper flights I normally take and will not be checking any baggage with Delta again."

Pros: "Gate agent was fantastic! Her positive demeanor made for the delays and cancellations to not seem as much of an issue. She was extremely pleasant when explaining what was happening to flights, connections, etc. She was helpful when checking boarding passes to ensure that travellers were ok for their flight."
Cons: "Again, last minute notification of delayed or cancelled flights made things somewhat worrisome. The late notification led to me missing my nest connection in Minneapolis, and having to sleep in the airport until the following morning in order to transfer my ticket to another flight leaving in the morning/afternoon/evening...very nerve-wracking to say the least."

Cons: "The flight was delayed twelve hours and was not given any compensation even though i had to stay the night at the airport with no blanket or pillow and no freebies of any sort. The gates kept changing. I got up to move to the correct gate at least four times during the night. The next mornings flight was behind schedule as well. I want compensation for my poor delta experience."

Cons: "The flight attendants were uniformly rude and nasty to passengers from start to finish. As I boarded, I asked for a piece of art to be stored in the wardrobe compartment. This was treated as an inconvenience. During and after boarding, flight attendants addressed passengers rudely when encouraging them to take their seats in a timely fashion. Later, when my seat mate politely asked a FA to repeat the food options, she asked, "Excuse me?" several times and seemed very irritated to have to repeat the choices for him. Also, near the end of the flight, a pillow was on the ground and a FA asked those seated in my row to pick it up. We responded that it wasn't ours and she said something to the effect of, "Oh yeah? So how did it get there?" (Maybe because someone else dropped it and we didn't notice?) The FAs seemed irritated to serve passengers at all. Each time they passed through for beverage or meal service, I felt like I was imposing on them. I have never witnessed anything quite like it. Makes me wonder why they were all so upset and and felt it appropriate to speak and act disrespectfully toward customers. (Delta, do you have any insights?) I hope they all got a good night's rest after that haul."

Pros: "Had to go through an extra random security check before boarding along with several other passengers. Looong flight, but expected when traveling that distance. Slept and watched movies. Best part: the pilot pointed out that Greenland was visible outside our windows as we flew over."

Pros: "Whereas our flight out from Raleigh to JFK where everything that could possibly go wrong did(late crew, boarding computer problem, mechanical issues with the plane, gate problems, missed connection) this last leg of our trip back was flawless. Everything was on time, and the crew was friendly and attentive. We had exit row seats so the leg room for this 90 minute flight was great compared to our first part (London-Atlanta)"

Pros: "I had 45 minutes to transfer planes in Atlanta and made it in plenty of time even though it was far. plenty of information given regarding incoming flight and departure. Boarding was also easy."
Cons: "The engine noise in the plane was so loud I couldn't watch a movie. My gluten free meal was awful and tasteless. I would have preferred yogurt and fruit instead of the chicken and vegetables with a rice cake."
