Pros: "Over all the flight was excellent. My previous flight with them was terrible but this flight was awesome. It was great that there was a headphone jack in the entertainment system so you could take your own better headphones. Only issue is that when you are taking off or landing you aren't allowed to have a cable between your seat and screen so you will have to resort to using the supplied ones plugged into armrest if you want to continue to listen to movies or audio."
Cons: "When playing videos on the entertainment system there was a glitch that made the movie play from the start when paused. This also happened for my wife. Also the displays no longer tilt so when the passenger in front reclines their seat your display is on a terrible angle."

Cabin crew said they can reset it but not sure it's going to work. Food was OK. Air Tahiti Nui offers a better service between PPT & AKL"

Cons: "I felt claustrophobic as if a was in a can of sardines, but to my relief I found a light sleeping pill in my handbag and was able to feel relaxed. I am not overweight but felt it was very difficult to reach for my handbag on the floor. As I said, in all seriousness, there was not an inch of space to move without saying excuse me to the person beside me. I must add that whoever made the rules for seating space between the rows on the aircraft must have been paid off heavily. The flight attendants were great."

Pros: "I had a fast and easy check-in at Denpasar airport. In flight service by cabin crew was very good, as I normally get in the business class at Emirates. Flight left Denpasar on time and arrived in Auckland some 30 mins early, which was nice. Enjoyed a late dinner - the mie goreng ayam was particularly tasty!"
Cons: "In the past on overnight flights Emirates I have received a pyjama set in the Business Class, which made it very comfortable to sleep. But this time this was not given, so I had to sleep in my day-wear, which was a bit uncomformtable."

Cons: "The seating room is poor for someone who is 6'2" tall. My wife had issues with her ankles swelling. When we tried to get a cold compress to put on them we never received it. We also asked for some fruit instead of the pizza snack and didn't receive it either. I know you don't have much control over passengers, but we had a two year old child in our seating area and it screamed and cried virtually the entire 14 hour flight. Very annoying."

Pros: "The departure and return flight time, for the price I paid, I felt like I was in more than an economy flight. The meal, the baggage quota, the entertainment. The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"

Toilets at DXB were filthy (I searched around for the cleanest, which was still disgusting), with the cleaning attendant standing around in the restroom doing nothing. Duty Free shops really expensive compared to European airports. Meal on board (breakfast) was really terrible (and that taking into account that airline breakfast is always bad), really the worst I've ever had on a plane, even the Croissant was chewy and very dry. Emirates has become a massive sausage machine people-mover. It has loss its finesse and exceptional service."

The crew were polite, and friendly with excellent customer service. Refreshments and Entertainment were first class. I will be flying Emirates from now on."

Cons: "We were allowed down the jet way to board only to come to a closed plane door - waited for at least 5 minutes for plane door to be opened. Crew seemed tired and disengaged. Walked on the plane asked crew how they were and got less than good reply. In flight woman never smiled, overall crew seemed tired and as though they did not want to be there. Perhaps SFO based crew on way home? Tired from flight over to Dubai? But it was really noticeable and a real difference from the flight over to Dubai from SFO 2 weeks earlier."

We usually fly in business class when traveling to Europe, but this time we were pleasantly surprise that the economy on our flight was as good as business on most American airlines. We are looking forward to another flight with Emirates!"

Cons: "I arrived an hour before my flight- after boarding began they closed the doors to reboot the engines and try and "fix" a problem with the landing gear. The flight kept being delayed with no explanation of whether or not it would even fly. We were told missed connections would be dealt with but they weren't. It ended up two hours late, had I known I would have gone to eat somewhere and avoided the terrible egg mushroom thing served on the flight. After landing , many were left with no idea how to get to their destinations and no recourse. The crew was great in the flight, though. Whoever maintains your aircraft should make sure problematic aircraft not be used to transport tens of thousands of your dollars. Very disappointing, considering this was my first flight with Hawaiian, I had heard they were the best. Noteworthy though, that my trip TO Portland with your airline was top notch. The return, however , leaves me with a bad taste and I don't think I will choose it again"

Cons: "I can't tell you how disappointed I was to learn upon arrival in New Zealand, with no forewarning or preparation, that I was to be BUG SPRAYED before being allowed to leave the airplane. I have asthma. Being sprayed with chemicals is a serious health concern for anyone, but especially for those of us with asthma. They sprayed a cloud of chemicals directly over our heads and we sat helpless as the spray settled onto our clothes and skin and into our mouth and lungs. I had a asthma attack, and when I told the stewardess she looked at me and said "It won't be much longer." It was another 15 minutes. I was so unwell that I asked my husband if he would be able to carry me if I passed out. I also unfortunately forgot my ebook reader in the seat due to my attack. When I wrote customer service I received only "We will forward your message" and no response beyond that regarding the return of my device. This entire experience has caused me great distress and I am sincerely hopeful that as a corporation you will take steps to ensure the welfare of your customers by ensuring they are aware of all treatments to expect when on board your aircraft. Had I known, I could have brought a mask and saved my serious asthma attack. I probably would not also be without my ebook reader."

It took them an hour an a half to figure out how to fix my name. Then they still couldn't check me in because it shows up a wrong country code when they scanned my passport. By the time they fixed their computer, my flight was already gone and I had to wait two more days for the next flight. I had to change my whole travel plan for this."

Cons: "I was not given a meal for dinner. When I asked they sheepishly looked away from me and told me that there would be a voucher when we landed. We did not get any voucher,nor did they make an announcement that they ran out of food and would not be able to feed half of the plane. I am extremely disappointed in how this was handled, as people next to me were given first class meals and I was given one piece of cheese and one cracker. In the morning for breakfast my meal almost didn't come, I had to ask for it. And when it was given to me it was already opened and messed with."

There was also a child kicking my seat behind me so I had to move my seat in order to avoid any issues."

Cons: "The only flight leaving Eugene that would get me to Dallas in time for an urgent meeting left at 5:25 am. The crew identified something in inspection that gave them a little concern, so they called maintenance to come and check it out to ensure we were safe to fly (which I very much appreciate). The issue I have is that over an hour passed (after the flight was supposed to leave), with them giving periodic updates that they had called maintenance and were waiting for them. Finally I asked the people at the counter, who were visibly embarrassed, where maintenance was coming from (this is an airport - shouldn't they have it onsite), and they conceded that maintenance was at the airport, but they had no idea where they were. This delay resulted in me missing my connection in Denver, which caused me to miss the meeting and the whole reason I was flying back to Dallas a day early for. I essentially paid over $400 for an extra ticket (I had to not use my one on Friday - because it was just cheaper to buy a separate one way ticket). I will never fly United again."

She did all this with a smile on her face while a worried guest (me) wasn't sure what he was going to do if it weren't for her impeccable service. Thanks Collete and United!"

Cons: "A few hours before flight time I was informed by email - not text - that "my flight" was canceled, which turned out to mean the flight went but I was bumped. I had to reschedule my entire trip for two days later (a trip to see a hospitalized relative). The affair would have upset me less if Kayak/United had simply informed me that they had overbooked the flight and they did not have room for me."
