At least offer the people a cup of free coffee or soda
This is the worst airline ever! Do not fly this airline if you want to actually get to your destination on time. Multiple delays, cancellations, and long lines. Very poor customer service.
The flight was as expected. Some of the flight attendants were very rude to the passengers which is one reason why I would not recommend Spirit to anyone.
Everything and everyone was great except one flight attendant Cindi. She was rude and disrespectful. She needs some customer service skills and I will be writing a corporate complaint on her. It’s not what you say but how you say it.
Our flight from Aruba to Orlando was terribel.We departed late and when we atrrived at Fort Lauderdale,we learned that the flight to Orlando was cancelled.They put us on a flight for july 29 !!We traveled with greyhound to Orlando and arrived at the hotel at 7 am the next day.Spirit did refund the flight Fort Lauderdale to /Orlando,but that is not the way it should be.Noticed that Spirit has a lot of cancelled flights !

Pros: "Crew was okay, seat comfort sucked."
Cons: "Seats need to be more comfortable. I felt like I was sitting in a slightly padded folding chair."

Cons: "Actually making his flight and Not sitting in the airport an extra 5 hours. Then having to rent a car because I had to fly to another state than my original destination."

Cons: "There was a fee or charge for EVERYTHING. The difference in price for the next least expensive flight more thsn made up the difference in feees ( baggage $65, carry on $65, better seat $25 but no guarantee- no free water, sift drink, or cofffe. No snacks. Everything was charge and expensive The Seats were small with no leg room and no recline option. One of the most uncomfortable rides ever. No entertainment option I guess if I was only going a short flight it’d be ok but still never a 1st chioice And remember cheap airlines means kids will be on board"

Cons: "Brandi the stewardess was extremely rude to my wife and I. The other flight attendants even apologized for her disrespectful, mean attitude. We will choose Frontier next time."
Cons: "We were delayed about 2 hours bc of technical problems. We had to get off the plane. Super annoying. And lots of screaming kids."
Pros: "The flight crew was polite and attended to my needs and they were actually funny."
Cons: "I did not like the limited food selections and the small portions that were served. Also, I always like it when the pilot informs you of the area of the country you are flying over. For example I recently took a flight from Las Vegas Nevada to Melbourne Florida and that pilot on Delta explained where landmarks were all along the way. That is something comforting about a pilot connecting with his crew and the people aboard the flight. So I would really like that if Spirit would include that. Additionally I do like onboard entertainment but maybe the fares would have to reflect that."

Cons: "The staff was not happy you could tell they did not want to be there they were very disengaged. This was the second time my flight to Puerto Rico had been canceled. And then it was canceled while I was in Puerto Rico without notice . There was nobody at the airport no one answering the phone's nobody to talk to nobody to resolve issues . I waited on line for customer care/reservations for over four hours and I have proof . That is unacceptable for any business economy or midscale . And then you're only offered $50 when you had to pay for another ticket pay for another night in a hotel in extra day in a rental you're out over $500 and they give you 50 ."

Cons: "On arrival at the airport, help was needed to get the boarding pass but there was no one at the ticket counter to help. For that reason, Joe missed the flight. When the representative did get to the counter, she was of no help in helping him get to his destination. He was marked as a "No Show" and his reservation was cancelled. Joe was told his return flight was confirmed. He was able to make arrangements with another airline after spending another $300 to get to Orlando. However, when he confirmed his flight home, he was told it was canceled because he "no showed!" He talked with people in Orlando and I called the phone number on the email received from Spirit after he missed the flight. I spoke with 3 different people who only wanted to tell me their policy. I needed help in getting Joe back to Akron, Oh. They could only tell me that we would have to make a new reservation and pay even more money for him to get home. They did not honor the money that had already been paid to them. They did not help us at all. They could only quote their policy, which was a moot point by that time!!!"

Cons: "Getting our boarding pass to print was a nightmare. I kept getting password invalid. I was told I would be sent an e-mail to reset my password. NOT! made that request 6 times before I waited 30 minutes to get a rep on the phone. Was told I had to sign up to be a Free Spirit Member to get my boarding pass. No where does it say that that is what you had to do . The rep asked if I had booked through them? I told I booked through Kayak and he gave me attitude. Kind of huffed and I thought he mumbled "you get what you pay for" So I signed up and got our boarding pass. Coming back AGAIN we couldn't get our boarding pass. The rep at Cabana Bay got a Spirit rep on the phone I told her I was a Free Spirit Member and I gave her my member # and she me told I didn't exist in the system, but she would send me an e-mail to change my password Of course that didn't come through. I put Sara, from the front desk, back on the phone and between her and the rep we got our boarding pass. We started our vacation upset and aggregated. Ended it the same way."
Pros: "New plane was more spacious then the older models the flight attendants were friendly and professional the food is expensive but you can bring your own!"

Cons: "Flights both ways delayed more than 2 hours both ways WITHOUT notification, compensation, or explanation, even when queried. I was forced to reschedule my car rental for twice the price due to tardiness. "Randomly selected" our flight to be security checked FOR A SECOND TIME AT THE GATE, and then my girlfriend was innappropriately molested for some reason by a tsa agent. I fly all the time and this was the first time this has ever happened. No service, still very expensive, dirty seats. I will NEVER be flying spirit again."
Pros: "Made it home in one piece"
Cons: "Only one suitcase, otherwise had to pay $52 for anything extra. Some passengers had more than one case/bag without charge. The staff acted like they did not enjoy their professions. Charging for snacks seemed outrageous & asinine. The flight was very rough and at some points very frightening. Dropped down more than once with my stomach having a pit. The passengers clapped their hands when we landed as if it wasn't safe. Not happy, extremely disappointed. The fight to Florida from Detroit was awesome & pleasantly surprised. I probably wouldn't recommend Spirit to friends or family."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 1.5 hours that they did not tell us about until we got to the gate because of 'air traffic', which should have been known ahead of time. Flight attendants were obviously tired and in a bad mood. Very small room in seat. The passenger behind me had her knees digging into my back the entire trip. A woman got too drunk and had to be moved to the front of the plane right in front of me because she was too intoxicated and out of hand. She was yelling and then threw up. It was overall one of the worst flights I've had in a very long time. It wasn't all Spirit's fault, but they didn't help the situations because you're paying for the "bare minimum"."

Pros: "The original flight from Latrobe to Orlando was cancelled leading to a scramble to find a new flight elsewhere, since the next Spirit flight available was in 2 days. Ended up cancelling the return flight with Spirit as well. Possibly someone without time constraints could handle taking a flight 48 hours later without any problems. But we were meeting another person who had flown to Orlando and arrived when we were originally scheduled to arrive. This caused problems for others because we didn't arrive on schedule. We never had a chance to experience Spirit Airlines and will never be buying tickets for flights with them again."
Pros: "Boarded on time. Got to ACY 20 min sooner than ETA"
Cons: "The flight was canceled. "Due to weather" i checked every location that plane was and will be near and the most it encountered was few showers. My options were to get a refund. (Good luck finding anything for less than double the refund amount on the same day). Or get a hotel at my own cost and fly the next day. Nothing was offered because "This isn't our fault". I called American to get me out of a bind. Nothing. I called Frontier and they had something but I had to rent a car, drive to Orlando, then catch the flight there. Thankfully i arrived at the spirit flight 4 hours early or this wouldn't have worked."
Pros: "I liked the safety instructions given by flight attendant he was creative and funny making the whole plane laugh."
Cons: "What did to like? Pretty much everything. Starting with the fact they charge for a carry on. I paid $150 for round trip from Boston to Atlantic city. My carry on cost $42 each way!!! That means I paid $240 total for my flight. That wasn't comfortable, no food or drink offered, ride staff at check in desk, and very Uncomforrabel. I could flown jet blue for that with out any extra costs and a much better experience!!!! Never again will I fly spirit. I understand you get what you paid for. But it was so terrible it seemed that they know they suck but make jokes about it. Never again."

Cons: "I am very handicapped - and on prior flights I have treated with such respect and given a lot of help when needing seated and having help with getting my sleep machine up thank God there were some very sweet customers on the flight with me - but let me tell you the flight crew actually acted like they could care and when I ask for help they turned and walked away. Not what I have had in the past with your airline."
Pros: "Attendant was friendly and allowed me to switch seats without a question."
Cons: "The plane was not properly cleaned/turned over from the last flight. I have a nut allergy and there were remnants of nuts on my seat and floor. We fully boarded and then we're told there was an hour delay."
Cons: "Spirit is awful...flight delayed then cancelled and no reason was given"
