Cons: "It’s just not a comfortable plane."
Cons: "Luggage was damaged"
Cons: "I will never fly Icelandair anymore because they don’t provide any free meal for passengers. Even the expensive meal l paid for, taste horrible. I’ve never seen anything like that. Giving meals or snacks are part of passengers comfort."

Cons: "Outstanding customer service!"
Pros: "Free checked bag"
Cons: "Very uncomfortable seats"
Pros: "Flight was not very full and in time."
Cons: "Staff was not attentive and did not allow other seats to be filled after take off. They all could use a refresher course in customer service. Our row would have been acceptable for 2 people except the arms did not raise up, only side to side to widen the 2 seats. No food was offered for a 7 hour flight. :-("
Pros: "Though I didn't take advantage of the stop over. Iceland air put my traveling experience at ease. They first gave me bottled water from iceland, very interesting taste, supposedly it was filtered through a volcano. The entertainment was great they have enough movies and TV shows to keep you entertained for endless amount of hours. And the flight attendants were so nice and polite."
Cons: "The music on the entertainment. I understand that the airline is trying to promote the arts and culture of Iceland. That's nothing it would bother me."
Cons: "At the airport in Iceland we had to go downstairs after we deplaned and then come back up to check in again. No alternative to stairs was offered."
Pros: "More relaxed travelling experience that with many other airlines. From check-in right through transfers and to arrival my experience was very positive. Staff were friendly and helpful. There weren't any real occasions where I needed something changed or sorted, which shows that the pre-work was excellent and works. Thank you."
Pros: "good movies and TV shows to watch"
Cons: "they didn't ever announce when they'd started boarding they boarded everyone at once and had us jammed into a tiny area, standing around for 20 minutes we sat on the tarmac for over an hour we ran out of fuel halfway to the UK we had to make an emergency stop in glasgow, scotland to refuel sat on the tarmac in glasgow for over an hour they never offered us food or drinks, did not give any free offers. the pilot apologized once in scotland, and once on landing. no other apologies or attempts to communicate. absolutely awful experience."
Pros: "Aircrew well trained and efficient. ancient aircraft, but appeared to be well maintained and clean. 3.5 hour flignt - plus 45 min delaqy, and no food was served."
Cons: "The flight was and hour and a half taking off and we almost missed our cruise connection because of it"
Cons: "To whom it may concern, In the last week I have flown Iceland Air three times. In fact had it been up to me, the first time would have been the last. But due to family traveling, our plans were set. So listed below is the detailed description of my horrible travels with your airline as well as all the added expenses it cost me. Due to all of the misshaps with Iceland air I have had in the last couple weeks, I made sure on my returning flight to check in and pick the seats for myself and the family member I was traveling with for my returning flight from Gatwick to Iceland. However when we got the gate, my ticket dinged because they had moved my seat from next to my family to the back of the plane, because they over booked the flight. This has been a disaster only because of this airline. Next time I plan on using British airways, the flight I took with them was amazing and effortless on my part!"
Cons: "Are you serious? I fly to Europe, and the bag doesn't even make it out of Iceland? In fact, dozens of people didn't get their bags? They never put them on the plane? How does this happen? I am in London meeting with clients... and all I have is a sweatsuit. I don't have time to go buy new clothes, so I will look like an idiot in front of my boss and our clients. Thanks a lot Icelandair."
Pros: "It was a nice short flight. The movie selection was good and the crew brought around drinks once we were in the air."
Pros: "The crew members were very nice and always friendly."
Cons: "No meals served in flight, entertainment selection was very poor. No communication regarding long delays.."
Pros: "Free movies"
Cons: "Not enough overhead bin space, no food, only a small drink"
Pros: "Seats ok. No food unless paid extra. Really? NO food on an overseas flight?! No Global Pass boarding. Perfect landing in KEF, absolutely horrible landing at Heathrow! So bad it should have been explained!"
Cons: "See landing note above"
Pros: "Flight in Saga Class was excellent."
Cons: "Bus from boarding area to plane was not the best experience --- like LHR 40 years ago. Also, my checked bag apparently did not get transferred at KEF."
Pros: "Very professional. Left nothing out. Perfect flight"
Cons: "Last seat on plane"
Cons: "There isn't free food. You must pay for the food and it's expensive."
Pros: "Even though there was no food provided the overall flight was nice."
Pros: "I liked the in flight movie selection."
Cons: "There were so many things wrong with our flight from Gatwick to NYC. The check in staff were rude and homophobic at check in, forcing my partner and I to separate for check in while we watched heterosexual partners check in together freely. The disabled toilet alarm broke as we descended into NYC and we listened to end-of-the-world death sirens as we were landing. It was not communicates that food was a microtransaction on flight and was so overpriced so we went nearly 13 hours without food because the flights were also delayed on the tarmac. The de-icing tow truck in Iceland was broken down so we were delayed two hours on the layover. On return, both Icelandair gates opened late. During the layover we were kettled in hot container units before 20 min before being bussed to the plane and held for 15 minutes. Then, the icing on the cake was landing back at Gatwick and seeing my brand new luggage I bought on the trip damaged with thr back pocked ripped out along the bottom seam. I will never again ride with these rude, price-gouging, apathetic amateurs."
Pros: "Quick, efficieny, comfy and they really treat the kids well."
Cons: "Delayed baggage reclaim at Gatwick and long immigration lines."
Pros: "The price of the business class ticket was good and it allowed a stopover in Iceland at no extra cost."
Cons: "The flight was held for 30 minutes to accommodate another arriving flight, This caused me to rush in London. I flew Saga class, but the crew stayed in the kitchen, did not help to put up luggage, welcome us on board. They gave us a plastic bottle of water. There was no choice on the menu. The tray was put in front of you. There was no drink or snack upon boarding. Other than putting the tray in front of you and collecting it, the flight crew stayed in the kitchen. There was no interaction. There was nothing special about the comfort, entertainment or food. Also I like to see the flight path, but that was not available."
Pros: "The plane was clean, the flight attendants were friendly and made sure that the passengers were ready for take off and landings (both of these areas were a problem on the last airline on which I flew)."
Pros: "cost of tickets"
Cons: "smmmmalllll everything, can barely eat the costly snacks, Reykjavik airport under construction, never heard the flight announcements, plane from Paris was delayed and plane to Washington was at final call when we arrived to connect. NO time to go to the restroom or buy a snack in the airport"
Cons: "Had to pay for food , tv stopped working mid flight , no organization for boarding on to plane"
Pros: "The service crew were excellent and always accommodating."
Cons: "The center section of this aircraft was intolerably stuffy and hot. I served 4 years aboard a WWII submarine and rarely experienced such sustained discomfort. First experience I. Tia position on this type of plane so maybe it's endemic to the design. Six and a half hours of misery after a long day. Left a bad impression of travel on Icelandic Air through no fault of the airline."
Pros: "Finally getting off of Icelandair for good that day."
Cons: "See above."
Pros: "There were blankets. It was cool enough in cabin"
Cons: "Boarding was very difficult, exit a bus and no order to enter plane, lots of problems with people going in wrong direction and very narrow isle to try and cross paths. Very unorganized. Flight was delayed."
Pros: "Kind flight staff. I'm also 6' 6" and it seemed like there was slightly more leg room in the standard seats. I wouldn't say I was super comfortable but I could still feel my legs after the flight which is saying something."
Pros: "Airline crew were efficient and nice."
Cons: "The seat was better than the last flight. It was an older plane it seemed - so I found this interesting. Also we waited in the bus on the tarmac for quite a while before being able to load onto the plane. Perhaps they run more shuttles to the plane so passengers don't need to wait so long. Our luggage was delayed, but the claims folks dealt with it efficiently."
Pros: "Excellent service and exceptionally clean planes!"
Pros: "They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Very friendly. They provided my daughter with free food, which was a nice surprise as i was expecting to pay."
Cons: "never again"
Pros: "The staff was so nice & friendly and very helpful..!! I would definetly fly with Iceland air again"
Cons: "Offer a free beverage would have been nice"
Pros: "The atendió"
Cons: "El embarque"
Pros: "La atención del crew en el avión"
Cons: "Aunque Sean viajes cortos ofrecer almenos bebidas"
Cons: "Crew was rude and the seats had astoundingly little leg room. Plus they tried to upcharge for everything. Will never fly with this airline again."
Pros: "Modern screens and seats"
Cons: "The temperature of the entire cabin was super hot during the 10 hours of flight. Very discomforting"
Cons: "Business area crew needs to better service from Bogota to san salvador."
Pros: "Crew was friendly"
Cons: "Service was slow and sparse"
Cons: "I could not fly"
Cons: "The crew"
Cons: "The crew is not nice and rude. The checkin counter didnt allow me to have overweight of 300 grams. Ridiculous. At some areas of the plan the air conditioning doesn't work well"
Pros: "We arrived on time!"
Cons: "Checking in and dropping off luggage was a nightmare... There was no one at the check in desks indicated on the screens or the check in terminals. Eventually I found a desk at a different location that would take my bag. Boarding was chaotic, no lines, just a crowd blocking access. Even passengers with small children couldn't get through. Space between seats was minimal. Crew was ordering passengers to take headphones off during security demo. I understand it is important to be attentive, but ultimately you shouldn't be forced to."
Cons: "I was not informed about having to pay for checking my luggage and it did not even showed at the Iberia website when doing my online checking. I had to pay a total of $50, $25 each way, in Madrid. I was never informed of this in Boston or, again, while processing my checking using Iberia’s website."
Pros: "Nothing, it was awful"
Cons: "They were late with boarding to begin with and the process was extremely unorganized and slow. The Air France flight that was boarding next to ours at gate 9 got everybody onto the plane before our flight did and their plane was scheduled to take off 10 minutes AFTER us. The boarding attendant didn’t do a good job of announcing the group number for boarding. After priority and no baggage passengers, it was just one big mob. Our boarding passes were in group 1 but my mom ended up being one of the last people let through. The 2 attendants made her wait because they needed to tag her luggage. I guess they felt it was too big for carrying on. Which is fine. But they literally made her stand there while they let almost everyone else in line through. They even tagged other luggages and she was still waiting. And when she asked them about it, they told her to wait and they have to assist other people. What’s the point of being group 1 for boarding then? We still had to wait til pretty much everyone else went in. And the fact that our seats were in row 29 which is at the tail end of the plane made it even worse. Now we need to squeeze by 28 rows of people when we could’ve been in our seats and out of the way a long time ago. Terrible service!"
Pros: "Nothing -- though seat was okay. No leg room, but it reclined a little, and had those foldable headrests."
Cons: "The boarding was supposed to be by zone, but was just a mad rush. They served no food, not even for money. There was an onscreen ordering option, but for the entire flight it said "this service is temporarily closed". They didn't have a beverage cart. Not even water or coffee. I couldn't even get a cup of water to swallow some ibuprofen and an allergy pill (somebody brought a companion cat, I suspect, quite near to me). No food or water on an international flight across the Atlantic??? You've got to be kidding me -- that's gotta be close to illegal, not providing any means of hydration. But it's certainly cheap, mean, and unacceptable. Pathetic, too."
Pros: "It was a very busy due to the fact that we,left 40imutes late and Iberia was also late when we left Madrid but they took care of me to make sure I did not miss the connecting flight"
Cons: "The food could be better"
Cons: "I couldn't check in online because I don't have 2 surnames. I arrived at Granada airport early to allow plenty of time to check-in. So did about a thousand other people. There was only one person available to check everyone in for Iberia. It was grateful. Plane was old. Not even a glass of water was offered."
Pros: "Iberia is awesome, they are so nice and accomodating, I appreciate the time that they spent making me feel comfortable. The food was awesome!"
Pros: "Two hour flight, with nice crew. Entertainment on board with a good selection is based on wifi and your ownd device. On time"
Cons: "Food is not free. If you want some, pay for it (what nowadays is normal). Leg space was tight for me"
Pros: "Very little - other than getting off"
Cons: "Every detail from rude checking all the way through rudness"
Cons: "The plane was too cold. It doesn't matter they give you a blanket it's uncomfortable and a waste of energy"
Pros: "Flight was short."
Cons: "Did not have any leg room. Could not get my knees and legs into the seat area."
Cons: "Sits are too tight. Honestly impossible to be comfortable"
Cons: "Crew wasn’t unfriendly , no food was provided"
Pros: "The flight is barley an hour so nothing was served. I was glad I had water on me. Other wise it was a easy flight"
Cons: "It was hard to hear the woman when we were boarding."
Cons: "the portion Tel Avivi Madrid was very poor. The plane was very old the business clase very bad. The seats were very old No space for the foots and NO entreatments service available. This in a five hours flights, Just horrible."
Pros: "Relatively cheap flight"
Cons: "Zero legroom. My legs were in aisle."
Pros: "on time"
Cons: "business class is the same as eco...very poor...LH aslo have regional line, much much better."
Pros: "seat is comfort"
Cons: "didnt get support for connecting flight. Flight was delayed in run way making us miss the connecting flight."
Pros: "Check in personnel were able to place me in the 3rd row where the seat pitch was poor but not as bad as the rows farther back. Wheelchair helpers were very efficient and friendly."
Cons: "This was return part of my journey. The LHR to MAD leg of my journey was extremely painful. I was unable to pay online or on the phone to upgrade the short leg of my return trip without raising cost of my whole trip from USD $1250 to over USD $4000! Also was not able to choose seats ahead of time online or on the phone. Even in the 3rd row it was difficult to fit my thigh length in the seat pitch. I had to sit with my legs splayed and with one leg in the aisle. My leg was constantly hit by luggage, pax, and cabin crew. It is critical to me that I can physically fit into the space between my seat and the one in front. With the short seat pitch emergency evacuation would be very difficult for me and the other pax. Since I need a wheel chair I can no longer request the exit row as I have done for 45 years."
Pros: "Great flight overall. Good food, pleasant crew. Easy boarding process"
Cons: "they had fancy touch screen TVs that at the beginning of the trip showed all the movie options... They then never activated during the entire transatlantic flight after takeoff."
Pros: "Almost nothing!!"
Cons: "Worst flight I've had ever. Plane was badly maintained. No soap in toilet and faucet did not work. Seats were extremely uncomfortable and absolutely no leg room (I'm not tall, only 5'10") The steward and stewardess talked with each other the entire time very loudly. The entire plane could hear. They laughed and giggled. Several people asked them to stop so people could sleep. It's a job not a date!"
Cons: "No food no drinks no entertainment and my knees where hitting the seat in front and I am 5 10"
Pros: "I am of average height -6 feet- and my knees were touching the seat in front of me. Not comfortable but not too bad either."
Cons: "Boarding was extremely chaotic."
Cons: "They did not even serve water for a 4-hour flight. We did not know that this was a flight that you had to pay for everything."
Pros: "Everything was pretty good"
Cons: "The seats were kind of tight."
Cons: "My flight was delayed for 2 hours they changed the gate # My notifications in my phone were wrong overall poor management My seat was behind a couple with two children that cried and cried and screamed during the flight, couldnt sleep not even with the headphones helped listening to those children crying. Iberia offered to check in my luggage so i can pick it up at my final destination, but my bag never made it. Had to wait two days woth no clothes or work items i needed in my luggage. Overall a very bad experience with iberia"
Pros: "Staff was friendly, bathrooms kept clean, and seats were comfortable. Entertainment was top notch."
Cons: "We kept trying to order water and food from our screens but the process was complicated, long, and ultimately didn't work. The system is buggy."
Pros: "Missed flight as scheduled changed forward by half an hour and re-organising another flight was difficult. Had to fly from another airport in Spain and transfer was without assistance. Staff did a good job at sorting a solution. The return home on BA was excellent and very efficient."
Pros: "Boarding is quick and easy. Seating is comfortable enough for a one hour flight."
Cons: "No free beverage service . Snacks and drinks cart is wheeled through, but no one buys on such a short trip."
Pros: "New aircraft, comfortable seats, and the best of all a friendly and welcoming crew. Love Iberia!"
Pros: "It was very slow beginning with taxing to the airport and then disembarking. We stood for a very long time before the door opened. Probably the delay getting to a stop when in the taxi mode was due to the airport crowdedness and not the airlines fault."
Pros: "I got a connection in Madrid to my destination, but the previous flight was delayed about 30 minutes. I got in the airport about 15 min before the gate closed. The gate that i arrived to my connection flight was around 26 min away. I have a condition on my leg and i cannot run, so i walked really fast through the airport and I was so happy to see that they were waiting for my delayed flight... which is very unusual. Thank you!!!!"
Cons: "Stewards keep trying to speak in Spanish to you. Every time again you have to ask to repeat in English."
Cons: "We were on the plane for 2 hours before we were offered any drinks (soda, water, etc.) The seats were quite small ( I'm average sized.) and I often felt as if I were slipping off the seat. The aircraft was very warm with poor airflow."
Cons: "While making the reservation online it said that you could declare your luggage when you do online check in 24 hours before your flight and the charge would be 15 euro's per bag or if you wait and do it at the airport it would be 30 euros per bag. I tried numerous times to do the check in before our flight and it kept saying unable to complete. I explained this to the agent at the airport and he still charge us 30 euros per bag."
Pros: "NOTHING !"
Cons: "Boarding was a mess. Business was overbooked and Iberia's team at check-in totally clueless and hopeless. During the flight, crew was impolite and unhelpful. Finally, my seat was broken -- and had to be manually inclined."
Cons: "We were re-booked for a flight a day later without any apparent reason and were forced to stay a day in Madrid. I lost a day of work and my kids lost a day of school."
Cons: "had a booked flight from madrid to gatwick, london and connection the next day at 11 am to Tampa US. We were at the airport at 1500. Flight was supposed to board at 1820 and leave at 1850. When checking the board, the flight's boarding was anticipated to 1810. We were at the gate at 1815 and there was an electronic sign signaling "boarding". However there was no personal, no line of waiting passengers and no plane. Upon checking we were told that the plane had already left. (this was at 1828). The only way to make our connection in london was a flight to Heathrow later with BA. Then we had to get a taxi to get to gatwick. Will never fly Iberia again."
Pros: "Staff was friendly and corteous. Out of three times I was flown with Iberia I can honestly said the service has improved tremendously. The crew members were polite and always ready to accommodate to your needs."
