Pros: "Our ticket handler at Alaska Airlines ( Sep 21- SMF Airport) was the most helpful and patient person we have ever encountered! The tickets we had purchased through Kayak were charged but not booked. Juan did everything in his power to get us on that flight. And when the kayak company failed to book in time Juan got us on the next available flight, being to sure to find us the best price and a direct flight, versus the one we had booked earlier. Over all Alaska Airlines will be the standard my future experiences will be based off of if I am unable to travel through them"

Pros: "It was pretty good. This was my first Alaska Airlines flight. Seattle to Maui was better than Newark to Seattle. First flight was uncomfortable. Seat did not recline. Didn't try the food. I took Virgin to Newark from Maui, and Alaska on return. I had high expectations from Virgin, but I liked Alaska better."

You should have At Least enough of the Daily meal, or whatever you call it, for all the passengers... especially at Breakfast.... everybody wants Breakfast. AND... maybe try not to sit single adults in the middle of 3 screaming toddlers. I hate kids. and that was REALLY ANNOYING. - and I was not allowed to move due to the Load Weight so... It pretty much all sucked. and then - & I know this is out of your hands - but this was all n top of bad turbulance... Worst Flight I hve ever been on, and I am a Travel agent, and practically grew up on Airplanes."

Pros: "I fly this route regularly and Alaska is my first choice - the service is good, and everyone gets a celebratory drink prior to landing in the Islands. I will often upgrade to 1st class, and that is so worth it. I arrive at my destination after 5 hours feeling relaxed and able to jump right into the new environment."

I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."

The entertainment systems on the back of the seat worked sporadically and the PA system was too loud and every time the PA system was used while we had our headsets on, it was excruciating We had no warning in order to remove our headsets before it blasted into our ears. We were amazed that after paying a considerable sum for our tickets and being in the air for 6 hours, there was limited meal service and we were required to purchase a sandwich in order to eat. I fly Delta frequently and this was by far the worse flight I can remember."

Upon arriving they announced that they did not have the Hawai'i agricultural forms, so we would have to wait until the "agent" cam on the plane with the forms, fill out the forms, and then disembark. The crew was not organized, so it took about 10-15 minutes to get off after we arrived in the gate (late) because they could not get people sit down and fill out the forms. Chaotic. I plan NOT to fly American again. Ever."

Cons: "Plane is small, overpacked, delayed. I lost my shuttle to the Keys and had to stay overnight in Miami."

Cons: "I purchased a round trip ticket to Miami for my infant son and I to accompany my wife on her business trip. First off, there was a 2.5 hour delay. The flight was overbooked. The lady at the ticket counter would not switch my seat to be seated next to my wife and 4 month old infant. Luckily the gentleman beside her was willing to switch seats so that she could comfortably breast feed our son. My checked luggage was severely damaged. The side of the luggage was caved in and one wheel was completely ripped off while the other was partially damaged. A cart had to be rented in order to transport the broken suitcase through the airport to the rental car service area where we picked up our car. The infant car seat belonging to a $180 traveling system was damaged and is missing pieces that secure the broken canopy. We were rudely advised by a staff member to file a report as she pointed in the general directional of a line a mile long. We have been advised by the manufacturing company to discontinue the use of this car seat because it is no longer considered safe for the baby to travel in. Should we ever be involved in an accident, the car seat would likely fail to ensure the baby's safety due to the mishandling by American Airline employees. Unfortunately since the flight was ridiculously delayed and my son was ill, we were unable to file the report. My wife has since contacted American Airlines via telephone and intends to write them a formal written complaint."

Pros: "Crew was nice. Used the really nice blanket and pillow"
Cons: "No tv. No tablet. No foot rest. What a waste of paying for first class....so not worth it. Modernize This plane."

Cons: "Needed to stop in Yuma to refuel. Missed connecting flight. Ridiculous. And ran out of water for customers as well."

Cons: "Flight to SFO landed 7 min late. Wouldn’t let us on connecting flight to MRY. We were put on a land shuttle to MRY and now I’m car sick. Horrible day!"

Cons: "Boarding was slow and disorganized. The seats are ridiculously small n close. The cabin was uncomfortably hot. The seats literally reclined 1 inch, no joke. No food on a 6 hour flight. The tv screens where 20 years old n the size of an iPhone plus. The flight just sucked and United has taken a huge dive in my opinion of them."

Pros: "United Airlines Flight 202 Left on time. It was a Boeing 777 so it had a lot of room."
Cons: "The flight attendants seemed focused only on the small First Class section and rushed through everything in the Economy Class. They rushed through the "Food Service" and didn't want to answer questions about what is on their menu. The menu was removed from the magazines in our row. Fortunately, we brought our own snacks. The Economy CLass cabin had a terrible odor. It really smelled. Maybe they should clean the plane once in a while. United Airlines ALWAYS has issues with entertainment. You MUST download their App to your cell phone. Then, they allow you to connect to their entertainment system. If you don't, you cannot access WiFi without paying $26 for the flight ... the WiFi access is inconsistent and limiting and doesn't always work so the download doesn't always complete. This was a nine hour flight from Hell. I think I prefer Frontier Airlines. Although the airlines make you pay for everything now, at least you expect some attention and food options and a plane that doesn't smell. It was nauseating. Don't even ask me about the "Miles" that they keep screwing up ... RAY HANANIA"

Cons: "My seatmates and I were frozen for the whole flight, especially our feet - even with socks on."

Cons: "With such an early flight, our only "breakfast" option was one cheese and cracker food box for purchase. The aircraft was too cold. Even with my winter coat. Upon arrival at Denver, we had to remove our own luggage from the luggage shelf. On previous flights, an airline employee handed them out to us."

Cons: "There is no compassion with United"

Cons: "Flight attendant had a lot of attitude. I live in Maui so I'm used to the whole "I'm local and you're not" entitled attitude some locals have, but it was completely uncalled for and unprofessional to do this to visitors. She literally asked the passengers where they were from and then launched into how she was local and it was her way or the highway. She was also really incompetent at the job overall. She gave me attitude and anyone that required her to do her job."

Pros: "The agent in San Francisco was awesome and even went out of her way to bump me to a better seat. Leaving Portland was easy, crew were super organized!"
Cons: "No entertainment systems were working at all. Leaving San Francisco to kahului we had so many unruly young adults that were just out if control. They kept switching seats, spilling alcohol all over me and my stuff and the flight crew could not care less. We even had an older Asian flight attendant on flight 1749 that was just overwhelmed for the job. She would hand the person on the isle a handful of pretzels and say 'here, pass these out'. The other flight crew members made it worse by treating her poorly. You could tell they didn't like her and were agitated by her. Instead if being polite and educating, they were exasperated and impatient. Overall was super disappointed. I have flown United so many times back home to Maui and was always so please and excited to brag about how great United was. Not this time. Thanks for reading."

Pros: "I was happy to be able to get a flight on a flight that offered free entertainment through the United Mobile app. I just don't understand why your airline doesn't offer free internet and entertainment. It seems like a small price to pay to keep your passengers comfortable. Get with the program and the rest of the industry."
Cons: "Once again, United first changed my flight which increased my layover from a little over an hour to three hours, and then our flight was delayed by three hours, making our total layover time over six hours. United does this more than any other major airline. I am actually considering switching my United Mileage plus credit account to one of your competitors."

Cons: "the wait time. Sitting on the tarmac for 20-25 minutes in PSP waiting for LAX reaffix to clear. The worst is arriving at LAX at 8;39AM which is earlier than anticipated and not getting a gate opened until 9:25AM (approx) sitting on the runway not being told what is going on and when the captain does make an announcement it is to tell us he apologizes for the delay but then proceeds to announce that he and the crew have to go back and to PSP and LAX four more times. I found that inappropriate to tell us about his work schedule when Im trying to get to the gate for my connecting flight"

Cons: "First flight was late, so missed my connection. Waited 5 hours for next flight. United just doesn’t have the capacity to cover unexpected glitches."

Pros: "First flight on a 777 ... quiet and comfortable."
Cons: "It's a long day in a plane but necessary if you want to travel to bucket list destinations!"

Cons: "Very limited leg room, very expesive entertainment - even for flight information ($US4/hour), no need to follow TSA rules (number and size of carry-on, placing carry-on under the seat, storing bags in overhead close to where you sit, etc.)."

Cons: "The fact that they over sell their flights but when you order them they say there are 3 seats left. So you show up to the airport and your flight lands with way more then enough time to get to work that day and younprint your ticket to find out you have no seat. That's because they sold more seats than they have incase someone didn't show up. But everyone did show up. So of course they find you another flight in LA which is a good 3+ hours away so you can spend another 3 hours to get to your gate to wait 2 more hours to go to take of so you can reach your destination making you late for work and making you call out. Just because they wanted to make sure every single seat was filled."

Cons: "Male flight attendant was extremely rude. I was asleep when the food was being served and politely asked for a tray of food once I woke up. Fight attendant that I asked was at the time collecting trash and snapped back saying that he had to finish what he was doing first. After about 10 min the lady attendant walked by so I simply mentioned that I was waiting for my food in case he had forgotten or was busy. She asked if I had mentioned it to the man attendant and I told her that I had and that I was simply waiting. She proceeded to go to him (not sure what she told him), but he later came by and angrily handed me my tray of food and annoyingly explained that he had to finish handing the trash In order to then handle my food. I told him that I completely understood, and he AGAIN snapped back saying "oh really? Because I heard you were complaining!" And walked away. The rest of the flight he proceeded to ignore me. I had been nothing but polite to him. The lady across the isle was looking his way and the man next to me made a comment to me that I had done nothing wrong and mentioned he he noticed how rude the attendant was to me. That even if I HAD complained, he was in no place to confront a customer about it. Regardless, I hadn't even complained one bit."

Cons: "Seated me in back. Made me board last. Had to walk all the way back up to the front of the plane to put my bag in the rack. 180 people with only 2 restrooms in the back. Much of the time there were people standing in line right over me waiting. Lots of bumping and grinding with my fellow passengers."

Cons: "flight crew could give a sh!t. Had to connect and came in late, made no assistance to get connecting passengers off first. Tv option sucks. Have to pay to watch anything. Couldn't even watch plane progress. Pay for that too. Only thing on is a cooking show. And yes you have to pay for food. Interesting. Food is decent though. That was a plus. All but one of the crew seemed pissed about being there. I know passengers suck. At least the guy that looked like Tim meadows from snl was nice. A 5 hour flight and they plane has no wifi (I get it) but also no charging ports??? Just gives the feeling of being held hostage for 5 hours and the only savior is your Visa. I'd hate to see how parents with kids handle it."

Cons: "Elisa??? the customer service rep in the PSP airport was very unwelcoming and abrasive. There was a $49.00 service charge added on to my boarding pass. WHY??? I did not ask for any extra services. Please reimburse me. Thank you. The flight was delayed in taking off by 25 minutes. No communication from crew about the problem until 5 minutes before taking off. Updating passengers would have been appreciated."

Pros: "After the first two delays, they upgraded me to 1st class, it was lovely. They offered nuts and water while we waited. The pilots and crew were nice."
Cons: "Every plane was delayed so much that I missed all my connecting flights. The first one was because they still had plane maintenance to do (3 & 1/2hour delay) The second, they forgot to transfer the the log book when it was full and they had to scan 26pages while we all waited with a bunch of pissed off business men who were yelling and booing the pilot:(. The third flight was delayed so much that I couldn't fly out till the next day."

Cons: "Jaded airport and cabin crew: clearly not loving their jobs. There's a dramatic difference in flight crews in other countries; consistently, UA crews seem to be neither appreciating, nor loving their jobs compared to other airlines and markets."
