Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

The difference between Delta and all other domestic carriers is just overwhelming. United and American/US Air could learn a lot from Delta. I could have flown this trip direct on United, but chose to fly through Atlanta on Delta for less money and a better experience from the baggage check to the gate to the in-flight experience."

Why did we pay $25 a bag if you don't enforce this? Food choices are funny, especially the "tapas". Whoever thinks THOSE are tapas should Google the word tapas. Delta reportedly earned 746 million in the first quarter and you charge for everything and still can't come up with decent food for us to BUY?"

I know not all flights can have these luxuries, but if the flight is over five hours, I think it should be better equipped."

She asked for a wet towel and the flight attendant was snarky but went to get one without even looking or asking to see what the problem was. Her entertainment console wasn't working so they reset it but instead it reset mine (two seats over) they did this again and I let them know it was resetting mine. I was told that I was not in the seat they were resetting for ...I inquired if perhaps they should try to reset mine and see if it would, in fact, fix hers..it did. When she slipped off her shoes the carpet was soaking wet. This was a really crummy, crummy flight."

Cons: "Charlotte to Seattle flight: The food served in first class smelled awful. Seated in premium seating just behind first class was unfortunate due to the atrocious odor that lasted for 3+hours. There was no option for food service for the rest of the plane. Which was unfortunate as I was very hungry. Due to inconsistent notification that the plane was delayed / on-time (kept switching the notification) we opted to not get dinner in the airport..... To which the plane was was an hour late yet we were told to check in every ten minutes to see if we were boarding. There were no blankets. The plane was incredibly cold. The suggestion I received from the flight staff was to turn off the vent above my head (which I had already done.) I had brought a jacket and was wearing pants. On a 5.5 hour flight, the crew served beverages 45 minutes into the flight (per usual) and handed out a pretzel pack. They didn't come back through with water or beverages again. On other airlines, they promote water at least once an hour to keep swelling and dehydration down. Since I am a pretty frequent flier, I bring my own water. Still, coffee would have been nice. Suggestions: increase beverage service to at least twice / 5.5 hour flight and provide blankets upon request. Food choices and entertainment would also be good. Don't cook stinky dinners in first class and allow it to pollute the rest of the plane."

Cons: "The email i received was from Alaska Airlines but what I didn't know was that it was for an American Airlines flight. Normally this is not a big deal, but in Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport the two airlines are in different terminals which required a fair amount of time to travel from one to the other. The confirmation email I received was labeled as an American flight, but since I received it from Alaska, I assumed I had reserved an Alaska flight. Also, the confirmation email I received from Kayak had me listed as a passenger on an Alaska flight. I'm assuming I originally booked for an Alaska flight, but later on in the confirmation process I was somehow changed to an American flight via Alaska. While I don't see this as a problem for Kayak, I think this is a situation in which your feedback could be useful to help avoid confusion for passengers in the future."

Cons: "Roundtrip flight to Seattle with a layover, first flight went without incident, so far so good. On the flight back (during a layover) literaly 5 minutes till boarding the plane, the pilot is ready to go, the people are standing in line, United decides it wont make enough $ on the flight and gives it to an Ontario flight. We are canceled and now have to wait 4 additional hours in the airport. Was told it was air traffic control that messed up, not United, which was not even possible and an obvious untruth. Was offered a complimentary bottle of water for the trouble. Classic united."

The power outlet under my seat did not work, so my phone died, and my armrest(left) was missing it's headphone jack so I couldn't use the in-flight entertainment, not that it would have mattered anyway, the fat man beside me was so huge, his fat covered my armrest so I had no access to the remote. The guy on my right, in the window seat, while not fat, wasn't small either and hogged two armrests, leaving me with none. I had to hold my seatback with my left hand the entire flight because there was nowhere to put my left arm without either holding it straight out in front of me, or laying them on the fat mans stomach which was folded over the armrest to my left. At one point I called a flight attendant and asked if they had any kind of a pillow or something to help my situation because the position I was forced to sit in was horribly uncomfortable and did not support my back, she looked at me confused, said they have nothing like that, and immediately vanished without any suggestion of a seat change or anything, just confused stare and then bolted away. All in all a pretty traumatizing experience, worst flight of my life."

When we arrived there the line was almost an hour and a half just to check bags we almost missed our flight. When we got to the counter ans told him we were both military flying on orders and asked to be tsa checked he had no clue what we were talking about so this kind woman helped him do his job, needless to say he was a manager. Once we got out tickets the seat assignment said see agent so we did. He hands us our tickets and we are a plane length apart. Let me mind you we both just left our child for a 8 month deployment overseas. We asked the guy if it was possible to get seats together wouldnt even acknowledge we were speaking to him. So we tried again he held his hand in my face and told me he serviced me and to please step back. Ive been bawling 2 hours straight from having to leave our son. So we stepped back. Then in the line this couple comes up and they were looking for seats together, i kid you not he gave them seats together! I will NEVER EVER fly united every again. Thank goodness for this kind gentle to switch me seats on the plane because i was crying i had to leave my fiance after i just had to say goodbye to our son for 8 months!! I was so shocked!!! I will tell every single person i know to never use united! You guys should be ashamed of our company! I will inform every active duty member i come across!"

Cons: "All my flights were delayed due to weather in airports that were not a part of either my destination or point of origin. Not a single United employee apologized. There was no one to talk to on the 800 number, no one in the airport. No offers for any sort of vouchers or compensation was offered. The United website did my give accurate updates for when the flights would be rescheduled and there were two representatives in the airport to handle several hundred customers. When I finally did get on a flight, the flight attendants pushes the beverage cart right past my seat without offering anything. I asked one of them if I could have a cup of water and her reply was a very curt 'no'. Rude flight attendants on top of everything else? And the final straw came when a mechanical error delayed my flight home and I missed my ride from the airport and had to pay for an expensive cab ride. The airline representative I spoke to once we landed told me "you should be grateful you even got home. I don't care if you have to spend money on a can, you look like you can afford it." There are no words for how absolutely unacceptable your employees behaved, and how unaccountable and disorganized your airline is. I don't care if it costs me hundreds of dollars more, I will NEVER give your company another dollar."

There's no need to say things like "hurry up" or make people check bags when they don't need to...I used to fly United a lot but I will now make every effort to not fly this airline again."

Staff was communicative, and the pilot provided us periodic updates on our speedy progress and early arrival. Cleanliness of the plane was also well appreciated. Even the bathroom towards the end of the flight was in satisfactory condition. Above all, I loved that there wasn't a television in my face the entire flight. Nice to have a break from seeing screens."
Cons: "There were signs on our tray tables indicating that charging stations were under our seats. They weren't working. Although the flight attendant came on the intercom with the pilot stating the charging happened in a wave around the cabin, this was a lie. Both my neighbors in my row had devices plugged in the entire 5+ hour flight and they didn't charge a bit. It's disappointing that a small half ounce bag of peanuts is too much of an expense for the airline nowadays. Given the amount of time in the air, I believe a full meal provided by the airline would have been closer to meeting basic needs of your average metabolism. United fell far from expectations on this aspect."

We had already boarded when we found out that the captain wasn't going to make it and that they were on hold with scheduling to try and find a replacement. Half an hour later they had us de-plane. From there we waited around for another 2 hours before a replacement was able to make it. They had us board again, and then we were waiting on ground crew to come push us back from the gate for another 20 minutes. It was a disaster. We got into Seattle almost four hours later than we originally should have. The attendants were short with all of us. Granted there were quite a few people who were being nasty. I understand that it wasn't in their control. But customer service is. They all fell short."

Couldn't hear them on the PA. Several people asked me "do you know what zone they are currenly loading?". They board weirdly - instead of back to front. When we got on (seated near the very rear) there were people seated everywhere. Slowed down loading, which slowed down departure. (2.5 hours late) Rows too close together, absolutely no leg room. Seats are the bare minimum - wouldn't recommend a long flight. Not sure I will fly with Frontier again. Will have to pony up the dollars for a better airline."

COME ON! I've become used to Southwest's far more enlightened policies, which I obviously prefer. Since it also has flights between Seattle and Denver, I'll look much more closely at staying with them the next time I make this trip."

Hidden fees everywhere that make the price much, much less of a deal than it looked when I did the price comparisons against some legitimate airlines. Frontier charged for carry-on bags, tried to charge for seat assignments (all of the available seats & not just the desired ones), charged for every beverage including sodas. Frankly I was surprised they didn't charge for water! Seats didn't recline at all & were like sitting on a metal folding chair for 5 hours. Food tray was about 3 inches wide, could barely put a plastic cup on it let alone a laptop or anything like that. Deceptive pricing combined with crappy accommodations - a combination I will avoid next time."

I did find out about the seat chafe scam before checking in and asked to just go open seat.....uhh no. So how much would the Alaska Air trip have been....$170 plus $0 for assigned seat and $0 for carry on so $170. So fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.... Their will not be a twice and I suggest Kayak add some notes to fares to avoid future bilking by Frontier."

The spacing between the seats is so small that I (5'11" man) had my knees jammed into the seat in front of me. The seats are also narrower than standard airplane seats as well. Also, be sure you're there more than 45 minutes before your flight, or you are S.O.L for checking any baggage or even checking in if you haven't managed to do so beforehand online (which is difficult, since the website has malfunctioned more often than not)."

It is very unclear that you don't have to do this. Also you have to pay $30 minimum for a CARRY ON BAG! This is even more if you wait to do it until you get to the airport or have an overweight bag. Checked bags are hugely expensive as well. Water is the only thing you can get for free and that is probably only because theu can't legally charge you for it. Honestly, fly any another airline if at all possible."
Pros: "To begin with, the charges for carry on baggage, soda, or a small snack was surprising. My flight with frontier vs another airline only saved me about $10-15 dollar. Frontier certainly made me feel silly for trying to save $10 by charging for everything! Also, the women announcing the boardin order did not enunciate their words clearly so most of us passengers were clueless as to what was being said. After boarding, the flight attendants spent much of their time in the galley loudly discussing their disgust with the customers on the flight. I was not comfortable asking for any assistance as I felt they may also start discussing me. The pilot was good and navigated us through choppy weather with ease."

They let many other people by with larger personal items but for some reason singled me out to be charged and they were extremely rude about the fact too almost gloating they were completely awful. Then it just kept going downhill from there. Their seats were so incredibly uncomfortable they are basically a plastic chair with unbelievably thin cushioning. They charge for everything except water, they have no in flight entertainment (no magazines, t.v.s, nothing), and their entire staff was not friendly. They are an awful airline to fly with and that will be the last time I ever fly with frontier. I usually fly with delta and united and they are so much better. I think frontier's business motto is: "Lets trick them into trying us with cheap fares and then slap on hidden charges and provide awful customer service." They were so awful and definitely take advantage of their customers."
Pros: "The flight was well timed"
Cons: "The baggage fees were ridiculous the seats were not clean the staff were too busy gossiping than tending to passengers and as pregnant women I find it unreasonable not to have any complementary snacks I was starving my entire flight and refuse to pay for a few pretzels after paying so much for baggage"
Pros: "Staff on the ground and in the air was very friendly."
Cons: "I paid $35 per seat for extra legroom but the front row passengers directly ahead of us used the source under their seats preventing stowage of my own bags there. Also, those seats reclined where ours did not virtually eliminating any value of the $70 total I spent for the comfort and convenience of the extra space."
