Cons: I flew out of Paris twice to head home to the U.S. Each time we left Paris late, resulting in me rushing to catch my connection flight.
Cons: We had to take a shuttle bus from the gate out to the plane, this made boarding very chaotic. The seats were not very comfortable- they needed more padding.
Pros: Only selection of movies but that’s all!
Cons: Flight delay could have been explained better, boarded the plane and sat in for about 2:30 min, crew could have been more proactive but NO! Food especially thinking this dinner time in business class fare very small portions! Wi-Fi paid for full flight but it was turned off in the mid of the air!
Pros: The pilot did an awesome job of welcoming travelers and keeping them updated on the flight status.
Cons: I sat almost to the back and there was not enough lunch by the time the crew made it back there so I had to eat breakfast instead of lunch.
Pros: Crew was great. Paris to RDU flight is very convenient. Fair summer pricing overall for our special itinerary. Beverages, snacks on international flight were great.
Cons: Specialty food requested - reduced sugar because there is just too much sugar in airline food generally. Pretty awful. Some kind of (I think) pickled cabbage and carrots slaw was inedible. Plain yogurt was awful, needed something! Nuts, just a little bit of dried fruit would help.
Pros: The crew WAS amazing!
Cons: Not a thing! It was perfect
Pros: Flight was on time, smooth take-off and landing, and gluten-free meal available (ordered before through Delta.com). Alcohol was available at each drink service.
Cons: No gluten-free snacks, lack of gluten-free awareness by crew, and gluten-free meal had an apple instead of the (gluten-free) ice cream bar the other meals included for the dessert.
Pros: Crew was amazing, flight was much more comfortable. Nice selection of drinks.
Cons: The snack on the flight was brioche with a Cajun spread. The bread was great but the spread was too spicy for my tastes.
Pros: Food and movies
Pros: Happy to be home
Cons: Allow more time for check in
Pros: Friendly crew.
Cons: Tight plane and late!
Pros: The care and good food was much appreciated. There were plenty of excellent movies to watch to make the time pass in an enjoyable way.
Pros: The crew was amazing, the seats were medium on the comfort range.
Cons: More comfortable seats and more leg room!
Pros: Friendly crew
Pros: Cabin service very good and hot meal was unusually good for economy section (especially the chicken with hollandaise sauce)
Pros: I had the chicken beans and rice which was good, the chicken burrito was a little soggy and had to peal it out of the box but taste ok.
Cons: The choice of the movies were either action or kids movies, i would like to see some sports movies, auto race, football or espn. All of the was energetic with great smiles and service except for one that never smiled and lacked enthusiasm. I wondered why she was on the plane.
Pros: Flight left and arrived on time. Smooth flight, so the weather gets credit for that. Seats a bit more roomy than the horrible sardine cans I've become accustomed to being squished into on Delta flights.
Cons: The provided earphones are useless. Next time I'll have to bring some from home. I only could watch films with "closed caption."
Cons: We thought we were flying AirFrance as our emails came from them and were surprised to learn after waiting in the AirFrance baggage drop queue for 30 mins that we were in the wrong place.
Pros: Direct flight from CDG to IND.
Pros: Wonderful. Food was great.i
Cons: I love everything
Pros: Delta employees exceedingly cordial. food poor to moderate, seating space impossibly small but pillow and blanket were provided
Cons: seats too close from front to back, and not adequately cushioned
Pros: Food, comfort, entertainment and treatment by the crew on this flight was spectacular. There was a lot of food, good entertainment and importantly, the seats were wide and comfortable.
Cons: Very old plane, 767-300. The bathrooms needed a better and more thorough renovation.
Cons: I was flying from CDG to LGD and my bag was lost, yet the baggage claim system showed it arrived...... Thankful I packed some essentials in my carry on. The bigger issue will be dealing with my medical insurance company to get medications replaced that were in the checked bag.
Pros: Getting off the flight was the best!
Cons: The persons who barfed and delayed take off was a not great. Cramped
Pros: Service was good. Was upgraded for more space.
Cons: Intertainment unit was not working correctly. Locked up after movie was over. No offers of any sort from crew about issue.
Pros: It was a pleasant experience. The crew were very friendly and professional. Their entertainment system and movies etc on-board was very good. Food was great too
Cons: Nothing really. A bit more leg room perhaps. It seems delay flights have the shortest leg room when compared to other airlines.
Pros: Food and service was nice
Cons: Very long route to my final destination
Pros: Everything. Very nice accommodating ok
Pros: There was a lot of food for this international flight. The seats were fine, just an overbooked plane.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: Efficient crew. Good movie choices. Clean bath rooms. However - I wish every airline in each bathroom had a notice on the toilet to PLEASE LOWER THE SEAT AND COVER! I prefer using the bathroom after another woman has used it!
Pros: Plenty of meals and friendly service
Cons: Crowded seating....
Pros: On time departure and arrival
Cons: We landed at 2:14 p.m. but did not get our luggage until 3:38 p.m., with "priority" because we were traveling business class. Dozens of bags that were not "priority" preceded ours.
Pros: Great flight!
Cons: I think I caught a stomach bug on one of the 3 legs of this route. More likely on last 2, i.e. Mumbai to RDU, as I fell sick almost 10-12 hrs after my last flight meal.
Pros: Boarding was efficient
Cons: My luggage didn't arrive with me
Pros: Airline stewards were very friendly and pleasant.
Cons: We booked with Delta, but were put on Air France. Even though we had our boarding passes in hand we had to wait in long, slow line for baggage tags because they would not print from kiosk. There was minimal Air France staff on duty serving thousands of passengers during busy season (July). While the lines grew larger, the staff was reduced from 4 to 2. Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare.
Pros: The meal on Air France (a code share with Delta) was excellent.
Cons: Very bad seat in the exit row. It was very narrow and hardlly reclined at all. there was no place to put your things because there was no seat in front of it. Legroom was very good.
Pros: Staff was amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with a two-year-old and they moved us to first class to give extra room for the car seat.
Cons: Lots of turbulents. The plane was smaller so they asked me to check in my carry-on as we were boarding. No issues getting my luggage back.
Pros: Delta does a good job of seating and meals and flight offerings
Cons: The crew were not customer oriented and seemed like they really weren't interested in their clients. Also we were bounced around between Air France and Delta at the ir port and when trying to check in online even though we booked through Delta.
Cons: Three hours late leaving Paris. Missed our connecting flight to saint louis. Not much help from Delta.
Pros: It was my first time to fly Air France. They exceeded my exceptions. The service was great and they made sure we were very comfortable. I will definitely fly Air France again.
Pros: movies and food
Cons: CDG airport is the worst!!!
Cons: Three bags were left at Paris and were delivered to me only after more than 48 hrs - lock of one bag was missing and other bag was in damaged condition
Pros: Frequent food offerings throughout the flight.
Cons: Boarding the plane was not easy. We had to show our passports to a man who quizzed us on where we were coming from, where we were going, and asking questions about our luggage. After that we had to go through another security point and scan our boarding passes, but most people could not get through with our boarding passes, so we had to get in another line to show our passes to our agent. It was very stressful since we were running late since the border control line was so long! While it was stressful, I am glad that they were careful regarding the security,
Pros: Loved it all. That's good advice above :)
Cons: It was a blast!
Pros: The Airbus A330 business class seating was more spacious and comfortable than the Boeing 767 I flew to Paris from ATL.
Pros: Everything was great! It is however a mystery why the attendants find it hard to smile once in a while. They were all attentive which is more important than serving with a smile.
Pros: Salimos a tiempo . El business es muy confortable
Cons: La comida horrible . No se limpian los baños
Pros: Overall a nice and good flight
Cons: Just a detail, my “head holder” (not too sure how it is called) would not hold in position. Also, staff was a bit slow to come after being called, I had to go and ask for water by myself at some point since no one was coming after 15minites of waiting...
Cons: Nothing. Flight was amazing
Cons: Bigger seats the new ones are way to narrow
Pros: The crew was very kind
Pros: Klm's consistantly high standards in everything they do.
Pros: Staff were professional and polite.
Cons: Despite zone boarding, boarding and disembarkation were very slow. Passengers like me with flight connections were very anxious regarding missing these.
Cons: Seats in economy section are very close together . There is not enough room for knees...especially for such a long trip.
Pros: Great airline
Pros: Crew was nice and pleasant
Cons: Flight very late
Cons: Head support for 6 feet plus people on seats would be good
Pros: Good beverage service.
Cons: Over an hour delayj for departure.
Pros: Service is awesome. Food is great.
Cons: People with short connection are affected by the 15 to 25 minutes delay.
Cons: There was no wifi on flight
Cons: Delays, took my hand luggage into the hold,
Pros: My seat
Cons: My suitcase wasn’t in the plane. 8 hours in the plane and no one offered us water. We had to look for flight attendant. Entertainment wasn’t great not too many choices and quality of screens was poor
Cons: They check for everything in the counter as if it was a low cost airline. If you go a kilo more over your baggage allowance you have to pay 100 eur. And for your cabin luggage you only have 12 kg that they check you twice and they have security staff at the airport specifically check in this.
Pros: very attentive crew
Cons: Only ham sandwiches on offer! I'm not demanding and would have been happy with cheese.
Pros: Smooth and faster than expected trip. I felt free to get up and walk around on this long flight. Food was good. I sat in seat with extra leg room for the first time and it was worth it
Pros: The service
Cons: The food.
Pros: They considered my reguest of vegiterian food.
Cons: I have no complaints.
Pros: Very attentive crew. Attended to needs immediately. Took a lot of time with each person when someone had something to say.
Cons: The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat.
Pros: The seat was spacious and the concept of the evening meal being the lighter option was innovative and well thought out
Cons: Boarding was chaotic and congested with not much information or order.
Pros: Excellent service. A meal , drink and a coffee included which we were not expecting.
Cons: Services was pretty weird .. Perse or crew Leader was ok But the assistent Young one was Really bad.. aptitud and not friendly at all.
Pros: Seats were very comfortable, food was excellent, the staff was very nice, cabin was quite and roomy.
Cons: No outlets to charge digital devices, and need more bathrooms on board. I was able to sleep most of the 11 hour flight so I did not take advantage of the entertainment.
Pros: Easy to board and easy flight.
Pros: Interior of the plane was clean. Smooth landing.
Cons: Pilot did not avoid turbulence
Pros: Need better quality tvs for such a long flight and better movies There were only 4 Bollywood movies and not the latest ones either
Cons: Customer service
Cons: Our two hour connection in Paris became 30 minutes because Air France was late in leaving Washington. So our luggage didn't make to to KLM to Amsterdam. My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages
Cons: infotainment was down. Lost my luggage the flight was delayed
Pros: We got a meal for a 1h flight only
Cons: No entertainment but normal for this type of flight
Cons: Delay can occur sometimes but it wiuld be better to be explained its reason and the estimated time for boarding. The customer service at CDG airport was the worst ever and all people standing boarding desk were useless without any mind what they are doing.
Cons: Super delayed. Could have fixed the issue BEFORE we were sitting on tha plane for TWO hours
Pros: Flight crew was fine. Food was good.
Cons: Checking in was extensive for unaccompanied minor. But gate crew was very unnattentuve and though we showed up as first in line, they did not focus, and kept saying to wait. Ultimately our son was last person on the plane.
Pros: Short flight with good communication.
Cons: Nil to complain.
Pros: All cabin crew were courteous. Refreshments were light. Check stuff were helpful, they did devise that the flight was full and due to space hand luggage would prefer to be put in hold free of charge. We did not have any problem with this. Plane was clean.
Cons: Service was a little slow going through the gate, it seemed to take a while for everyone to get on board.
Pros: The food service was good and the flight attendants were friendly.
Cons: The plane was very uncomfortable. The seats were small, you felt on top of the person next to you, and there was no leg room. I am a pretty small person- I can't image how uncomfortable all of the taller passengers must have been.
Pros: Only thing we liked was the fact that we were able to get onto our flight at all...
Cons: Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online.
Pros: Consistently high standards
Pros: My bagage broke
Cons: I paid extra fee for extra bagage which was tv and i paid insurance my tv broke and no one responces for it
Pros: Nice seats, comfortable.
Cons: Again, no aisle seat for SkyTeam Gold member. Also, my baggage was lost. First bag arrived a day late, second after I had left Billund and it was six days before the bag with my clothes reached me. I was told I will have 100 euro credit for clothing, but in the winter and for 6 days, this was not even close to the amount I needed for clothing and necessities, to have my time here.
Cons: OLD plane without comfort or entertainment
Pros: Priority boarding was appreciated and the flights were on time. Service was fine. Schipol was good.
Pros: No chargers or tv on planes
Cons: At Amsterdam we were told that our checkin luggage wouldn't be at Sydney!! Some low fat meals were terrible!
Cons: Only one queue for boarding. Flight late on arrival.
Pros: Everything was good. The crew was very friendly and attentive. The plane was comfortable, with great entertainment on the personal screens. The food was delicious. Flight was on time and actually arrived early, but then we had to wait for a gate (not the airline's fault).
Cons: No complaints at all.
Pros: The constant supply of food that was offered to you. The crew was nice and always helpful.
Cons: The process of boarding in Amsterdam was not organized and felt more stressful than it needed to be.
Cons: My reservation through JustFly did not pass along that I’d paid for seat selection, and it brought along an unexpected checked baggage fee.
Cons: Most flights were delayed (3/4 legs) causing bags to not make connections. Had to wait 2 days for my bags in Paris requiring me to purchase new clothes, shoes, toiletries and then spent 4 hours waiting for them at our VRBO- finally delivered it at 4 hours 15 minutes. Also not given adjacent seats on
Pros: Very nice crew
Cons: It was freezing on the plane. The entertainment was not working.
Pros: The crew did a great job. The seat was uncomfortable after such a long flight. But that is to be expected, I guess. The lady, kicking our seats behind us, because she felt it was disrespectful to recline your seat, even during a 9 hour flight, was the only drawback. But the crew responded approp
Cons: The best part about the food was the ice cream. The rest of the food was lackluster, but what I expected on a flight. The lady kicking our seats behind us because she thought it was disrespectful to recline made for an uncomfortable flight. The rest was as good as expected on American Airlines
Cons: I purchased 3 tickets and one was not used as the guest could not make the trip. The airline sold the seat that I already bought and paid full price for and I was not issued a refund or a credit for another flight. As fas as I see it, that seat was mine and shoould not have been fiilled by another indiviidual.
Pros: Super nice crew, 787 plane, entertainment
Cons: Seat comfort. Very little legroom
Cons: British Airways flight was carried by American Airlines. Planes were late, boarded one plane from the tarmac with no explanation, gate was changed 5 times without announcements. Will never fly American Airlines again!
Cons: Connecting from Paris CDG through Chicago O Hare incoming flight to Paris was delayed by 1 hour resulting with our flight delayed. Connection at O’Hare was terrible had to take the bus from one terminal to the other which added to our delay and frustration
Pros: Crew was great, on time, boarding smooth
Cons: Wifi did not work
Pros: People on the planes were nice
Cons: The guy at the gate in france made me check my bag, he said it was due to the size but people were walking by with bigger bags and he didn't seem to care about them at all. Not sure why he singled me out. Also took my passport, which he wasn't doing for other passengers and told me to board the plane. I had to ask multiple times for him to return my passport. Not sure if it was his first day or something but it was a very frustrating experience.
Pros: Easy check in, helpful staff. Great seats and lovely in-flight amenities. Most of the food was really good and quite a bit was offered during the flight. Arrived early and staff was really helpful in getting through customs.
Cons: Weight limit on baggage was very strict. Boarding took a long time and seemed disorganized.
Pros: Modern equipment (787)
Cons: 8 emails from Kayak and 1 from AA warning of flight delay. But gate agents did not know anything about this and boarded us on schedule. So we sat for 90 minutes until the new aircraft was 'repaired'. Failed by a mile to make the connection. And I suppose I should have paid first-class fare, as then I would have made by connection?
Pros: We boarded early because of the security check, but that worked out fine. The food was good and the flight attendants were attentive.
Cons: Spending 10 hours on a flight, but you can't do anything about that.
Pros: Front area had nice amount of leg room. Back was so tight i couldnt even reach my bag under the seat in front of me.
Cons: $20 for wifi is a rip off!! Delta includes free wifi on international flights. Some prople need to work and paying for internet on an 8.5 hour trip was ridiculous. Food options were not that great either. Pasta was supposed to be vegetable pasta but no veggies to be found. Not healthy options.
Pros: Comfort on board, entertainment system
Cons: Older plane than on the way to Paris, did not like so much the food (except main course)
Cons: A huge queue due to AA policy to un respect BA policy of free 23 kg checked luggage of Int’l flights. A scandal, a shame. Won’t travel anymore with BA & AA.
Pros: The movie/tv system did not work despite a lot of time trying. Very disappointing when taking a long flight with a 10 year old.
Cons: Very cramped.
Pros: Amenities were about on par with other international airlines. The entertainment console was wonderful. The trip was more quickly than expected.
Cons: Boarding was a mess. We were there 2.5 hours before our flight and had to rush to make it on time due to the awful lines for the checking our bags and general disorganization of American Airlines. The staff on the plane missed our row when offering drinks near the end of the flight and were not careful about bumping elbows and shoulders as they frequented the aisle. Also couldn't sit by my family which was a huge bummer.
Pros: The snacks and meals were decent, as far as plane food goes (although the “vegetables” with the chicken were pretty awful). Also the entertainment selection had a wide assortment of movies, but disappointing tv show selection.
Cons: The boarding process was a mess. Just a huddle of people, with no clear direction and no one enforcing lines or boarding groups. Also my husband and I weren’t seated together and when I tried to change it online, the entire flight showed as booked. However once on board there were clearly a number of empty seats.
Pros: The crew was very cheerful, professional, and helpful. The food was also surprisingly good.
Cons: The entertainment system failed a few hours into the flight, which is a big problem for an 8 hour intercontinental flight.
Pros: The only thing good was the airplane – a 787.
Cons: Missed the flight because of problem with the CDG trains. Crew on the ground were absolutely useless. I ended up getting another flight the second day using the customer service number. The cecking in process was terrible. The agent was terrible.on the flight, the crew kept banging almost everybody with the food cart. One poor lady behind me got water spelled on her, hit by cart few times, and food spelled.
Pros: Flight was on time, crew was friendly.
Cons: There are no blue US custom declaration forms on the flight anymore. Many people cannot access the automatic kiosks, and I wish we could still have access to the forms while on the plane. It is stressful to have to do it after landing, with no real place to write. The flights were both fine, but the layover in DFW was a nightmare. Thankfully we landed 30 min early, but we only made our connection with a few minutes the spare. We ran through the airport, and had to ask many people if we could go ahead of them at the security. We didn't have time to use the bathroom and buy water/food. I understand this is not the airline's fault, but I would recommend extending the minimum connection time at this airport.
Pros: Good flight overall
Cons: The experience at DFW was terrible- long lines to get out of baggage claim because of too few agents to process 1000 people waiting. Also long lines for TSA screening to get to gate.
Pros: I usually fly Air France but AA was terrific. Tasty food, pleasant crew, even the toilets were nicely maintained during the 9 hours flight. The only thing that AF does better is provide a full array of printed matter before boarding.
Cons: American Airlines baggage check-in at Paris CDG was total chaos. It took 1 1/2 hours. They need a systems analyst to review their process; especially for customers using their ticket kiosks during check-in when the lines get long. There's never a problem when the lines are small (duh !!). The staff involved in baggage check did well considering the poor process flow they had to deal with. The entire flight crew was great. It is management that is falling down on the job.
Pros: Exceptional service and communication from the in-flight staff. The entire process from check-in to baggage claim was ,seamless and pleasant. I highly recommend AA.
Pros: They offered pretty decent food and snack options that were included in the flight- the high quality chocolate ice cream was an especially nice touch as well as the included wine. My seat appeared to have more space than the flight previous to it, so that added a lot more comfort without the extra expense of having to pay for the "more space" seating- I often feel like airlines nickel and dime you to death these days. Perhaps it was just the luck of the draw, but the seats had much more legroom than my first flight to Paris as opposed to the return to NY. The flight crew were all courteous and pleasant. Leather seating with readily available pillows and blankets for all was a nice touch as well.
Cons: Having to use communal screens for watching movies and shows, having no choice as to what was displayed, having trouble seeing everything displayed (too far and small to see nuance in dark scenes and print on screen), having only one bathroom mid plane.
Pros: Comfortable flight. Great communication from pilots, and the service was great.
Cons: Very old fashioned plane, with one tv to watch a movie. I don't think I've flown on anything like that since the 90's.
Pros: movies the whole way. American helped me make up for the cancelled flight over to Europe by letting me fly back from London.
Pros: The people were engaging in Friendly the flight was very quick it was fabulous that way
Cons: How could you have a 4 plus our flight without entertainment or videos in this world anymore?
Pros: the flight was on time and everything was fine.
Cons: the boarding process is more chaotic than necessary. groups 5-9 board at the same location and people in higher groups stand near the front so you can't tell if you should wait behind them or step around. there was only a single power plug (in economy plus) for 2 seats and it was a cigarette lighter style.
Cons: Audio jacks were not compatible with most headphones, healthier food choices could be offered
Pros: The Admirals Club in Paris is lovely.
Cons: My seat did not work properly- there was a short in the mechanism, I believe- that required repeated attempts to get it to recline completely, which was ultimately unsuccessful. I was clearly having difficulty with the seat but didn't receive any assistance while FA chatted up a celebrity in the seat in front of me. Flight attendants seemed to provide very perfunctory service, not commensurate with first class. Very disappointing experience compared to others in the past. I don't need to spend half a zillion FF miles when I could just buy a coach seat.
Pros: Plane didn't crash
Cons: Tiny seats and no personalized entertainment options. We booked this on British Airways but have pretty much been on American flights on every leg. This made customer service more complicated. And this plane was terribly uncomfortable. Boo!
Cons: This had to have been among the worst flights I have ever experienced in 50+ years of flying to 86 countries. First, an e-mail before I left my Paris apt that it would be 1 hr late departing. THEN the announcement ON BOARD that the flight would make a REFUELING stop in Bangor Maine (the eqpt was a 20 yr old 757 meant for a medium-range domestic route instead of Paris-NY). So it was FOUR HOURS LATE arriving, including an extra hour on the ground in Bangor because they'd lost their landing slot (tho they lied about "bad weather" at JFK) ... a succession of lies and incompetence. Headphone jack didn't even work at the seat ... the movie was a US film dubbed into French anyway! Gawd what incompetence. A letter Fedexed to Doug Parker, AA's CEO, was not even acknowledged.... and I do 35,000 air miles a year on AA. THE WORST.
Cons: The flight was cancelled, there is nothing to rate except the inconvenience it caused me and my fiancee who were traveling back home for a business meeting.
Cons: The staff was rude not helpful and mean worst crew I've ever seen and I fly alot
Pros: Everything about the flight itself was excellent
Cons: Could mother on an online boarding pass from BA (ticked on) or AA ( flight operator)
Pros: The service from flight attendants very goood. Even the chicken dinner was as good as many restaurants serve with tastey sauce and cooked just right with nice tossed salad and even apple pie desert. We got served free beverage 3 times on 9 hour flight from Paris to Dallas. The entertainment options were amazing: So many new movies or video games or e-reader were added plus with individual screen in front of each seat! They will be my first choice. New seats also had extra padding and were more comfortable! Wow1
Cons: A little more leg room would be nice.
Pros: Cabin crew were quite good. Food was fine for airplane fare with excellent ice cream mid-flight. Airplane was spotless. Entertainment was very good. Plenty of carry-on storage on this 787-9. Customs and airport (DFW) experience was very good. Baggage claim and return for connection were prompt and rapid.
Cons: Seats were tight in basic coach. As typical at CDG airport (other than the government subsidized Air France facilities), check-in and security is a nightmare. Clearly the worst airport in the world.
Cons: When I booked the flight, I hadn't realized that British Airlways had contracted the flight out to be operated by American Airlines. The flight was delayed in Paris and I ended up missing my connecting flight through JFK to DC. Though we were told on the plane that we would be given assistance upon landing and helped in an expedited manner through customs, instead I was briefly informed I had missed my connecting flight, handed an envelope, and told I needed to now travel to Laguardia Airport. No other information or assistance was provided. I was not given a reason why I needed to travel an hour in NYC traffic to switch airports nor was I given any help through customs. The shuttle I was told to take was unable to take me to the correct terminal, so I needed to get on a secondary shuttle. Again, after a 7 hour international flight, little assistance or aid was provided. I was barely able to make it through security in time to catch the new flight. Additionally, the actual flight from Paris to JFK lacked basic in-flight entertainment that almost any international flight would have. I will not be traveling on American Airlines again, and I am hopeful that Kayak and BA will be more clear in the future.
Pros: The crew was friendly and the plane was clean.
Cons: This was an American Air flight and checking in and boarding were awful. The entire operation in Paris was very poorly organized. Even though I checked in online in advance, it took over an hour to get through the AA line to drop off bags.
Pros: Good price and thankfully it wasn't a full flight.
Cons: The shared TV's in the middle. I didn't like the option, so I tried to watch a movie on my laptop, but the person in front of me pushed their seat back which made watching next to impossible.
Cons: it was not clear that finnair was being operated by american airlines. when I arrived to the airport in Paris, they couldn't locate my flight on finairr or american. my flight was missed and the staff on both airlines (finnair and partner american airline) were soo unhelpful. I have never missed a flight, I travel for work, in the air, more than on the ground and this was the WORST experience I have ever had. I was super disappointed that even after all the mistakes, no one would help me find a new flight and I had to pay for another one. Even after calling finnair several times and pleading for some answers or help.
Pros: I suppose the food / wine was okay.
Cons: The plane was one of the oldest I have been on in years. The center aisle overhead bins were not even big enough for luggage and there was one TV every 5 or so rows. We were at the mercy of the crappy movies American Airlines chose for us. Most flights these days have individual entertainment and at a minimum room for luggage. The plane was old, dirty and not up to date. Never flying American again. Extremely disappointed with the service on the flight, as well. A little more than halfway through the flight, the woman in the row next to me began reading the airline magazine. Her window shade was up and the sunlight caused a horrible glare on the magazine pages that beamed like a laser over everyone near by. My friend seated next to me and I both have extreme sensitivity to light that causes migraines. I asked the woman to close her shade which at first she did about an inch or two. This didn't do anything to help the glare so I asked again and she refused to do anything more. I explained it was giving us migraines and she didn't seem to care. I asked the flight attendant to help navigate the situation, which was just as useless. She said she could ask but not force her to close her window shade. While I understand that AA can't control that some people can be selfish, I find it incredibly hard to believe that the crew can't intervene when a passengers actions are making other people physically ill. Our only other option was to be relegated to the last row, next to the crews stinking pile of garbage that had been accumulating for the first five hours of the trip. Almost every crew member we interacted with was completely apathetic to the situation. We spent the rest of flight nauseous and with splitting headaches. But I sure hope my row mate and fellow human being in 32A enjoyed the article about the dinosaur flea market in Bolivia This entire situation could have been mediated by the flight attendants who chose to disengage. Furthermore, when we were deceding to land, overhead bins were still open, and people were starting to stand up to gather their belongings in the overhead bins. Again, the apathetic flight attendants were no where to be found. Overall, disappointing experience. Glad to never have to fly them again.
Pros: Good foot room.
Cons: The Crew were incredibly rude, and the pilot was unapologetic for being late coming back. They offered little to no comfort. They replied rudely to people when they asked them to repeat themselves because they couldn't hear. They were not very helpful and seemed annoyed and irritable. The plane was uncomfortable and the screens in front of me were useless because they were so low quality. The air craft has an option for fax but has no USB charger or port for a 10 hour flight. The aircraft I was on was not fit for that long of a distance.
Pros: the airlines did try to accommodate by giving us optional flight when our connecting flight got cancelled
Cons: No meal options for vegetarians for breakfast. They just gave everyone a turkey sandwich. Rude, frustated and sarcastic staff
Cons: The bag hanging down from the bottom of the seat in front of me.
Pros: Comfort was about equal to any other flight I've taken. Most of the crew members were friendly. Free wine.
Cons: The in-flight entertainment choices were lame. I suppose most people sleep on long flights. The food was not great. Mostly edible if you're really hungry. There was not enough room for everyone to put a carry on in an overhead bin. Luckily, I'm short and I keep mine under the seat.
Pros: Staff mixed Qatari and Canadian, did their best
Cons: With a sore arm, it was an impossible task to find a cozy position without shap metallic angles protruding.
Pros: Wasn't able to get my seats ahead of time, but was lucky to be put in an aisle seat.
Cons: It would be very helpful if the person at the counter would remind International travelers to make sure that they get their VAT receipts stamped at the border/passport agent.
Cons: Curt and rude
Cons: In 25 years of traveling I think this is the worst food I ever had in a airplane. Lucky that the butter and the bread were eatable
Pros: Space for my legs, good movies and food. Smooth ride. It was my first trip with the airline and i loved it
Cons: Had to wait 1 hour to get my bag back. They were having trouble to find it. Because i waited an hour they gave me a $10 voucher to eat at the airport
Pros: They did a good job and I enjoyed their touch screen entertainment on the flight. I enjoyed the wine on the flight over and back. I will fly Air Canada again
Cons: Nothing, they did a good job
Pros: The entertainment options were good and the fight crew was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The delays and lack of information in the boarding process are unacceptable - this occurred on my trip from Montreal to Paris as we as the return trip. Passengers feel like cattle being herded.
Pros: Entertainment system had good offers.
Cons: Queuing in CDG was inefficient as was much of the airport experience at all sites (outside of PHL).
Pros: These were all LH code shares with Air Canada. Checkin and boarding at CDG 2A is the best you can do there. Only a short walk from checkin thru immigration and security to the gate. Also Air Canada checked my bag to HNL. There were US immigration and customs, small scale and quick, in Vancouver but no requirement for baggage inspection unlike awful LAX. For future trips between HNL and Europe, I am flying Air Canada via Canada.
Cons: White wine was room temp.
Pros: clean, polite, helpful crew
Cons: obtaining boarding passess via smartphone
Pros: The flight was not fully booked so there was some extra space....ie empty seats
Cons: The flight was 1.5 hours late in departing. Fortunately we just made our connecting flight in time.
Pros: The bad stuff overshadowed the good stuff. Bad experience.
Cons: We took off late and never made up for the time lost which resulted in me missing my connection in Denver. Had to be rerouted to Toronto that night and spent night in hotel. Next day, we took off late and that resulted in me missing my connection in Denver... It took me two days instead of one to travel to my last destination. Not happy with Air Canada, three out four flights took off late. I also almost missed my flight in Montreal to go to Paris if it was not for the friendly and helpful Canadian Customs people.
Pros: The flight attendants were very professional and nice.
Cons: The flight took off late and did not make up the lost time during the flight.
Pros: The price was outstanding. The entertainment was excellent. Staff very friendly
Cons: Food was really bad. I mean we left France and that's the good capital of the world, but none of it made into the plane.
Pros: Food and movies were good
Cons: I received a boarding pass in AMD for all my flights, when at the gate in paris the agent said we have to give you a new boarding pass and seat. I had window prior, now it was the MIDDLE SEAT!!!! They said they couldnt do anything about it because Air India changed it and they couldnt do anything about it. Especially since the flight was also full. Not Air Canada's fault, but the expererince of middle seat is TERRIBLE.
Pros: Drop off at the counter was fast and easy on the upper level departure entrance. From my drop off at 9:00 am, I made it thru baggage check-in, passing thru passport control, passing thru security and into the gate duty free area in 25 mins! Impressive experience.
Cons: With an hour delay out of Paris due to waiting for missing aircraft flight documents to be completed and delivered to the airplane on the holding ramp, we ended up arriving in Toronto an hour late. With only an original connection time of 90 minutes, it was not possible for me to make it thru Canadian and US customs to the connection gate. I was to learn that no other connection to a Kansas City was available until much later in the afternoon / early evening. As a result, I ended up arriving in Kansas City 6 (six) hours later than originally scheduled, three quarters of the time it took to travel from Paris to Toronto. To say the least , I was not at all thrilled having lost that time.
Pros: Nice plane, food, staff, entertainment. It was great
Cons: We were delayed taking off. We boarded on time but then had to sit and wait in the plane for almost an hour before taking off. We had a connecting flight in Toronto and thankfully made it but some people missed their flights.
Cons: We missed our flight to Minnepolis we got a later flight home. We were tired and disappointed about getting home late. When we got to the gate our plane was still there but they said it was too late to get on but they delayed the plane 10 minutes to take our luggage off. We got a later flight. Not happy.
Pros: Both planes were nice. Attendants were pleasant. Food and entertaining were great.
Cons: Flight from Paris to Toronto was delayed 4 hours. That automatically caused us to miss our connecting flight from Toronto to Nashville. The 1st flight turned out to be more than 4 hours late. The 2nd flight was delayed as well. Not to mention we were directed many places throughout the Toronto airport trying to locate a boarding pass for the 2nd flight in hopes to make it to Nashville that day. All members of the Air Canada staff were helpful, however traveling for over 20 hours majority of which was spent in foreign airports made for a long and unpleasant day. It would have been different had it been our fault for being late or missing a flight, but we were very early for our international flights which simply added to the amount of time we had to sit, wait, and hope. A coupon was given to us, however being that I live in a different country I don't know how quick I will be able to redeem this.
Pros: The plain was new
Cons: I asked for a blanket and they told me that they are out of blankets
Pros: Please post meal intentions on-line so I can plan for the possible need to bring food on board. I had repeated instances when my elbow would hit the buttons on the arm rest, thereby changing video/lights/call for help, etc. Poor ergonometric placement.
Cons: Delayed over an hour, making it almost impossible to catch our connecting flight in Montreal. Thankfully, the flight out of Montreal was delayed and we were able to make the flight by the very last minute.
Pros: The Canadian airports are much nicer than the US airports. Things seem to flow better. They are cleaner and have more services than the US. They also have less people. Air Canada is a very good airline. They had schedule issues like any airline, but they handled them well and communicated them well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The meals were very good. Our trip was long, but that was due to our choices. I was very satisfied and highly recommend Air Canada.
Cons: All the planes are full. Seating is cramped unless you pay a lot for an upgrade. We found connection times tight in Montreal. We had to jog each time to make our connection.
Pros: We boarded on time and made connecting flight with no issues.
Cons: My son had no tv monitor (broken?0 the entire trip with no resolution to the issue. We asked flight crew several times to see what could be done and were told they would reset it. We have very little confidence that was done and no other resolution was pursued. The plane was not very clean and the smell of one of the bathrooms was terrible.
Pros: Very kind & attentive crew made my flight to Europe enjoyable. Baggage check-in & pick-up was quick. It was one of the most affordable flight options. For the price, I was very satistied with my experience.
Cons: Seats were smaller.
Pros: Flight from Paris to Montreal was very nicexcited with comfortable seats, entertainment, and pillows
Cons: Going through customs in canada and the US due to 2 flights in canada.
Pros: Food was much better than I've had on a plane in years
Cons: touch screen was very finicky
Cons: Missed connecting flight due to late take off from Paris and long wait at customs in Montreal.
Pros: Air Canada is a wonderful airline for the price!! Seats are comfy staff is excellent. Food is decent.
Cons: Food wasn't great but what do you expect it's on a airplane.
Pros: The food was decent and the snack was good too -- a small hot pizza.
Pros: The crew and wonderful, and it's why i chose Air Canada -- i have flown with them a few times over the years and have never had a bad experience during the flight. they are always pleasant! Kudos to them.
Cons: At Paris, I was given the boarding passes that went with my original itinerary even tho the flight had already been changed. they told me my bag was checked through to dulles --hindsight is 20/20. if only i hadn't checked the bag. I don't think coach seats should be 'reclinable' -- the space is much too small. it's rude to do so in such cramped quarters and there's always one rude person. she happened to sit in front of me and never put her seat up the entire flight.
Pros: The flight was delayed long enough that I missed the connection flight but they put me on the earlier flight so I did make the connection
Pros: It was a good flight overall.
Pros: Food was reasonably good, and seat had enough legroom, more than in some airlines I have flown recently.
Cons: very disorganized. website for checkin was indecipherable. I had to call Air Canada, which charged me for the call (15 centimes per minute) then put me on hold, only to finally learn that I could only check in in person because we were traveling with a pet. --- We paid extra for preferential seating, and when we got to the counter were told that we could not have those seats bcs we were traveling with a pet - the pet was acknowledged on our records and travel documents, yet the company allowed us to sign up for preferential seating, then would not let us access those seats, but our previously reserved window seats were gone and we were assigned aisle and center seats, which were then changed again to other aisle and center seats. --- Half the flights on the departure board, including ours, were delayed, alhto there were no weather problems. Both our plane and the plane in the gate next to where we were waiting had mechanical problems - a coincidence, or a repeated failing?
Pros: Entertainment system was awesome. Flight was comfortable. Crew very friendly.
Cons: Checkin staff at airport was not friendly. Airline cannot allocate seats together even though booking was done months in advance. seriously!!!
Pros: The flight was comfortable, the food was good and the in flight entertainment options offered a good variety of recent releases.
Cons: It was late. Again. Each of my Air Canada flights have been late and boarding was a mess.
Pros: The movie selection was relatively good.
Cons: They changed my seat 3 times before I got on the plane (from a window seat to an aisle seat and much farther back on the plane). I didn't complain and got on the plane, only to be told for a forth time (after I had already settled in my seat) that I had to change my seat again, to a middle seat. It was by far the least comfortable seat I have sat in with very little room both in front of and next to me. Nobody should be asked to move like that, especially after choosing my seat online at least three months prior to the flight when I purchased my ticket. Food also not great.
Pros: I liked the comfortable airplane. The bathroom we used by the front of the cabin was a great size bathroom. Food was OK but could have been better.
Cons: I upgraded the seats for me and my 9 year old daughter to economy premium for about $300 per seat. You would think they would give you two seats together considering you are flying with a minor. Nope! The seats were on different side of the isle and they had a seat between. One of the flight attendants was gonna accommodate us to be seated next to each other on the side with two seats only and my daughter was happy to be next to me. Another flight attendant comes after us and moves us to the middle where are 4 seats between the isles. I would recommend to ask what seats you are getting before boarding. I had picked two seats next to each other but in the meantime they sold the window seat to somebody else and moved me one seat away from my 9 year old daughter plus an isle between us. Will NEVER fly them again. I felt very uncomfortable and honestly like criminal while waiting for them to decide about my seating arrangements after paying additional $600 on the top of the regular fare. This was a flight from Paris to Montreal.
Pros: The food was good. The flight attendant were helpful and cordial.
Cons: We had to wit two hours on the tarmac because of a computer error.
Pros: The fact that there is a way to have on board entertainment but this was clitchy. Hot snack was welcome. Pillows and blankets. Direct flight from Casa.
Cons: Rude and filthy airline hostess. Having greasy hair and being rude is totally unprofessional. Requesting that a sleeping passenger bring their chair to upright position so that the passenger behind can have a snack? It doesn't make sense. This flight was not full at all and we were strongly urged to check our carry-on due to this. Well they didn't apparently see the fragile sticker as our latern and ceramics were damaged and the bag came out on the main conveyor. Also the door wouldn't open for baggage upon arrival so we were delayed an hour?
Cons: I understand that it is the duty of the traveller to figure out the legalities but a little heads up about visa requirements would be nice. I did know I needed a document to transit Canada but their website is absolutely not straight forward in telling you what you need to do. I read there was an exempt till September 2016 and since I was flying before it, I thought I would be fine. While I understand it was my fault for not doing my research, it's the way the airline company handled the situation that incredibly frustrated me. There is no empathy or willingness to help a traveler about to embark on their journey, when they are told they can't board. I didn't know you needed a visa just to transit!! It's just stone cold responses and haughtiness. It's a new rule, cut me some slack! They just pushed me off to a partner airline and I was asked to pay 1500$ for a one way flight. I m getting very frustrated with airlines of late! Customer service sucks. There is no genuine empathy for a person in a bind. It's all about making money and getting you out of the line. I'm just disappointed.
Pros: Made it home safely
Cons: Flight hour late to take off. Also food service lacking. We were in back rows and meat dish out of stock fir both lunch and snack.
Pros: Cabin crews and the actual flight was an alright experience, it was the personnel on the ground.
Cons: Lack of personnel in cdg for checking bags & rude personnel on the ground.
Pros: Food was decent, beverage service was frequent
Cons: Service alarm button is in armrest, dings constantly during flight when people sleep on it
Pros: The flight crew was pleasant and helpful, providing water throughout the flight.
Cons: AirCanada did not schedule a long enough connection in Montreal. Procedures were not explained well, either. I had to run to my gate to make my connection because it took over an hour for my checked luggage to be approved so that I could go through Customs. I was not the only person who experienced this problem. Several people on my flight missed their connection, and several still waiting when I left were in danger of missing their connection. I have flown on other airlines through other cities internationally and never experienced this type of issue.
Pros: Everything was professional. The pilots was awesome
Pros: Food was fine, staff was professional, flight was quite.
Cons: The lavatories were unacceptably filthy. There was a puddle on the floor in one of them: Disgusting!
Pros: Food good crew great.
Cons: Cramped seats and full plane.
Pros: The ease of boarding
Cons: The food
Pros: Staff was Amazing!
Cons: I thought I'd be flying Lufthansa but I got United. I feel Gypt.
Pros: The in flight movie options were great, and the food and beverages were good.
Pros: The food was surprisingly good.
Cons: The seats felt a bit too cramped.
Pros: The crew in first was very helpful.
Cons: vegetarian food on first.
Pros: Excelente atención, salida y llegada a tiempo y buenas opciones de comidas y servicios
Cons: Todo estuvo bien
Cons: Boarding at CDG in Paris was chaotic. Called group 1 and 2 to line up but boarding didn’t start for approx 45 minutes.
Pros: The crew really seemed to care about our comfort. They were very attentive and gave us extras if asked.
Cons: The check in at the airport and going through Customs in the USA but the overall flight was good.
Pros: Entertainment selection was nice. Amount of meals was also great.
Cons: Meal service could have been closer together. We went 8 hours between meals.
Pros: Delightful crew.
Cons: Decent dinner in business class, but pretty awful breakfast omelette. I didn’t figure out what should have been complete adjustability of seats, & crew could not help,
Pros: Pleasant crew, smooth flight, on time.
Cons: Food could be better. Seat was a bit hard.
Cons: Space in seating very limited, and some seats in business class empty and also some seats with more room.
Cons: The Flight attendants were great They were always helpful to the passengers Greeted everyone as they entered and left the airplane
Pros: Crew was friendly. Pilot kept us informed. Did a great job with takeoff and landing. Entertainment selections were good. Food choices much better.
Cons: On flight from DC to Paris seat preferences were changed by the airline . Was not able to sit with my family during this leg. Food choices were not good. Was not crazy about the chicken dish.
Pros: All other stuff good
Cons: No music options for entertainment
Pros: except for a young steward who smiled kindly
Cons: the other crew that served us had no smiles or eye contact. an incident even happened with a passenger that could have been avoided if the crew was friendlier
Pros: I had THE WORST experience with ONE flight attendant leaving Paris CDG, flying to Chicago O’Hare. Flight #9334. On 7/26 @ 11:22am. I am hypoglycemic and the flight attendant skipped my line for food I acknowledged her three times and she ignored me so on the fourth time I raised my voice saying “excuse me ma’am” that seem to have irritated her or rubbed her the wrong way because her response was extremely unprofessional yelling at me and accused me of startling her. She compared my voice to the startle of 911 and caused a scene in front of the majority of the passengers. All I wanted was the food that was available for each passenger because she skipped My row. After talking to another flight attendant who claim to be a manager name Celeste who was wearing a visible name tag along with every other flight attendant except for her, I asked her for the name so I could write up a review she refused to give me her name saying it was against their policy to give up first names even though it’s clearly on everybody’s shirt except hers she removed it or covered it up w/ her apron even though Robert Robert was wearing an apron with his name tag outside of his apron like he should the attendant that gave me problems took off her name tag and covered it with an apron that was a violation of dress code. A simple apology is all I asked for but she refused to apologize and the managers only response was “I can’t make her apologize” Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect on a flight as I am a frequent flyer to Paris on United everybody else and all other flights was extremely helpful and courteous. This woman started ranting and raving about 911 and getting people nervous for no reason. I will be writing a formal letter to the corporate office. I just barely got home and wanted to write this review because it ruined my experience in 9 1/2 hour flight experience. It was also very embarrassing for me and my family, as other customers were bothered by this and had to listen to this. I was trying to speak over the air conditioner and after the third time of her not acknowledging me that is one I raise my voice politely by saying “excuse me ma’am”. I am a frequent united flier. Furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 3 furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 2 1/2 hrs. By this time my back was throbbing and when I talked to the gentleman upfront he told me to write a letter for some type of compensation regarding everything I have been through. Here are pictures of the lady who is out of dress code the flight attendant and also out of line dealing with plus dealing with customers she’s obviously unhappy with her job and should not be in the customer service industry as I know for being a businesswoman myself owning my own salon I deal with customers all day and I know my number one job is to make sure my customers are happy I am not .

Pros: Flight was very comfortable - we upgraded to better seating and it was well worth the additional cost to have more leg room for an overseas flight. Our departure was delayed roughly 1 hour for unavoidable reasons, but we made up most of the time in the air, so we did not miss our connection.
Cons: wish plane had phone chargers on board
Cons: My Wife and I got booted from Lufthansa to a United flight where our seats were across the plane from each other. In order to sit together, we had to spend another $300. United charged us an extra $100 for a check on bag that Swiss and Lufthansa did not charge us for.
Pros: Boarding went very smoothly. Flight attendants were good. I was glad that water was offered several times during the flight.
Pros: Quick early flight. Good entertainment system. Quick luggage pickup. Announcements in English and French. We could reserve seats for free
Cons: Boarding was a little chaotic.
Pros: Organized boarding. Left on time and arrived early at destination.
Pros: The entertainment interface and selection was fantastic!
Cons: Minor, but an arm rest would not stay up. Also, let's face it, the food food is never excellent, rarely good, but understandably hard to make so.
Pros: Crew was helpful.
Cons: We were sitting right next to the crew resting area and it was very restricting to us. I had two little kids that I had to keep quiet for about 6 hours out of 8. Even when my kids were quiet, we were reminded twice to keep quiet. It was very restricting and I was forced to walk back and forth with my two year old to keep her quiet so the crew can rest. Why is the crew resting when they are supposed to be working on that flight? The meal quality sucked, I did not finish it, let alone my kids. My kids were prettu much hungry for 8 hrs. Not a very family friendly flight.
Cons: Horrible communicatuon between the crew and passengers. Poor entertainment and comfort. The delay in Chicago was poorly updated and once the plane landed the flight taxied for upwards of a half hour.
Pros: arrived ahead of schedule
Cons: nothing really. Just a standard, OK, United flight.
Pros: Friendly staff, - smiled and nice from beginning to end. The flight was fast and smooth. The seats were also decent and the width of the aisles had just enough room to wheel my bag and also not get hit when the carts came through. They are still too narrow, but better than some planes. I appreciated the good coffee, too (illy).
Cons: The food was inedible! This was the worst food I have ever had on a flight, seriously. The omeletes had the consistency of rubber, and my special meal (Asian vegetarian) was some fried thing that I couldn't eat at all and my companion - who will usually eat anything, would not touch it. I asked the attendant for an omelet instead (before I knew they were just as bad) and explained to her that the I can't eat fried food. She said she was surprised since Asian vegetarian is usually Indian - or at least discernibly Asian and so, would have been OK for a gluten-free vegetarian diet such as mine.
Pros: Flight was on time both leaving and arriving
Cons: The individual, Inited WiFi entertainment accessed via the Inited app did not work. I have been on several long distance Inited flights, and it never has. Error messages include “service is not available st this time” and “unable to connect to server - wait a few minutes and refresh browser.” Since in seat video is very limited, this can make for a long flight.
Pros: Very courteous service, frequent snacks, free in-flight entertainment.
Cons: Long wait at SFO on tarmack for gait to become available on arrival.
Cons: Flight was delayed for 3 hours without any explanation. They squeezed 2 flights into one to save their money disregarding the comforting of the passengers.
Pros: United's Dreamliner plane is very comfortable with more leg room even in economy. The price for this non-stop direct flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle during this off-peak season is unbeatable! I will book with Kayak again in the future.
Pros: Excellent meal in and very crew.
Pros: The leg room on plane was great.
Cons: Boarding was very unorganized. They did not have enough room to line up people for organized groups. People were cutting in line, walking up in front, where as people had been in line for half an hour. they need more clarity and staff to help with this.
Pros: Flying the the new 787 was good; not great - seating is still very tight, but that is the nature of flying; I get it. For what it is - no disappointments.
Cons: Food and service
Pros: Fast boarding and unboarding - excellent crew. Flight was on time - smooth operation.
Cons: In economy, if the person in front of you reclines all the way - it totally invades your space and is not sustainable. I put up with a rude princess that reclined her chair the whole 8 hours (even when she went to the bathroom). I get that they need to recline...but there has to be some ethical guidelines!
Cons: Very rough landing.
Pros: It was my first international flights, and both going there and coming back went amazingly well. Everything was exceptional.
Pros: The United ground crew who assisted me on boarding the flight.
Cons: The delay in take-off. And most of all, the CDG as a point of connection - not a fault of the airline.
Cons: A mechanical issue delayed our return by over an hour. I guess they didn't know the extent or the time needed to repair, so we boarded at the regular time and sat in the plane. Good cabin crews both ways. Food meh. The 787 over was much better than the aging 767 coming back. I like the new app based entertainment system.
Pros: Staff was nice and plane wasn't full so had space for better sleeping since there was nothing better to do on the plane.
Cons: I was very disappointed. Why spend so much money on updating first class and business when the rest of the seats are completely out of date. I couldn't even charge my phone to get ahold of my ride when we landed. And the tiny screens barely worked, couldn't even watch a movie because it just froze up the whole time.
Pros: Left on time arrived on time. Good flight
Cons: Food and going to Paris from Washington temperature in the plane very very cold. Request to staff to be able to coin tease it but didn't do anything. On way back asked if it was possible to get a newspaper and attendant answer very impolitely that was for business and she didn't think it was going to be nothing left. Being polite and accommodating is part of their job.
Pros: flights were on time with early arrivals.
Cons: I couldn't put subtitles in French on English movies. 8 could only watch them dubbed. I didn't understand this as it seems standard for all other flights I've taken.
Cons: Tried to change flight to different day, and agent said it was available. I had to call them to find out not only was the flight no longer available, but there were none in the same time frame I needed and the next option would cost $1500+. I lost over $575 for a flight I couldn't even take. DO NOT BOOK ON KAYAK!
Pros: I liked that we landed early, but the airport was not ready for us, so practically all the advantage of the early landing was lost. The food was decent, but the final snack was kind of rushed. We had a safe, relatively smooth flight.
Cons: I couldn't hear many of the announcements and the intercom quality was poor. Seating is always cramped in Economy, especially on a crowded flight.
Cons: Touch screen on the outgoing flight was awful...the right half didn't work so pretty much no selections could be made. The return flight screen functioned ok. Also, no USB charge port on either flight!
Pros: The flight staff was really nice and attentive. They provided food and drinks.
Cons: The flight got delayed a few times and there was a lot of turbalanece.
Pros: My ticket was with Lufthansa but the airline was in fact United Airlines. My original flight was from Paris to Newark. The United flight was cancelled with no explanation. So there was nothing to like.
Cons: The United flight was cancelled with no explanation. My orignal ticket was for a direct 8 hour flight. When my flight was rescheduled it was with a connection in Washington, D.C. with a 4 hour lay-over. I arrived home almost 5 hours later than scheduled. Awful experience!
Pros: The flight was smooth with a perfect landing, so I was happy with the pilot.
Cons: The United Airline Flight Attendants who were French were rude. The pilot announced that several of them were retiring after working for 50 years. I think they stayed in their jobs too long because they were very abrupt when I asked for a USA custom form instead of a French form.
