We were faced with cancelled reservations when boarding in Charles De Gaulle. The staff at the desk were amazing and retrieved our reservations and obtained seats for us all the way through Buenos Aires. We are so thankful for the dedication of the staff at the check-in desk and will always consider Lufthansa first when flying worldwide.
I will never use kayak again. Their confirmation numbers are useless to the airlines. They cannot represent the airline. I was blocked from getting a seat assignment when I booked the flight. Their service is useless. I will also never book a flight serviced by another airline. Confirmation numbers are unique to each airline. The only one that matters is the one assigned by the airline servicing the flight. In my experience, Kayak doesn’t exist. It was just a front. I was forced to deal with a company called Chat Deal. Never heard of them. Never want to deal with them again. Awful.
No entertainment. Cannot control light, no call light for F/A. Nothing worked because their control panel did not work. Very rough landing. Plane tipped to the right a little. Boarding chaos.

My Lufthansa flight morphed into a United Airlines, which was very confusing, since everything I did on the Lufthansa site was ignored by United.

Please consider designating these seats either not to be used or optional for passengers."

I explained to numerous employees my situation and they casually exclaimed I should be able to make it in. Once I got into the airport I could barely get through security since I did not have my boarding pass. I kept explaining I don't have a boarding pass because I could not check into my flight to obtain it. Then when they finally let me through with only 10 minutes to spare before my flight's gate would close, I finally reached the boarding desk only to be told I had to wait because out of the two men who were scanning boarding passes, they were too busy to help me. I then had to explain three times that I had already paid for and booked my flight, however, I could not check in online and was having an issue with an error that stated I was missing information, even though there was nothing marked in red or anything marked to edit, so each time I tried it denied me. I also tried calling for customer support and did not get a hold of anyone because the lines were too busy. After explaining all of this to the man at boarding, he made me wait an additional 5 minutes before helping me check into the flight and print out my boarding pass. I was treated like a stand-by customer and I did not appreciate it since I paid for this flight and tried to check in 24 hours prior. I was expecting much more from Lufthansa, as my boyfriend recommended this flight company to me, but I was extremely disappointed in so many ways it makes me question whether I want to fly this airline again for future trips abroad."

I missed two connections because the flights were late. I was given a substitute itinerary that had more layovers in different cities, one of which was Oslo, which is quite possibly the worst airport I’ve ever experienced. I arrived to my destination 3 hours later than expected, which made my taxi ride to my hotel more expensive because of traffic. And then to top it all off, they misplaced my luggage. And as I watch it move through their system because of an AirTag placed in my suitcase, it’s quite clear that they are in no hurry to get it to my hotel.

The stewardess did give me a free mini bottle of wine, which is normally free on Lufthansa. I am just not all that impressed with SAS. I will try to avoid them in the future."

On such a long flight it would have been nice to have been offered water/tea/coffee without paying. But it was OK. I liked that we were allowed to find empty seats and move to a less tightly packed area of the plane. It would have been good if more people wore masks. It was GREAT that masks were offered - and they had fall colored leaves on them. Thank you Norse Airlines for providing a non-stop flight from NYC to Berlin. When BerlinAir died there were no non-stop flights available.
Boarding runs smoothly. The temperature is too cold so not comfortable at all (you are not given a blanket but have to buy one). Food and drinks are expensive.
The BER airport requires the most walking of any airports I've ever visited. There were two (!) complete security checks required for this flight, and staff just hung out, chatting before allowing people to pass through. Can't recommend this.
i could not get into my booking to upgrade anything until 24hrs before the flight- and then it was too late to order food, and other services......I was given the last seat on the plane and was very squashed the entire flight....
Customer service was completely unhelpful and short. It was over 8 hours long, and no flights attendants offered water unless you purchased food.
Don't expect food or drinks for free, be careful with your luggage, it will be extra and if you bring any, make sure you pay ahead on line. But otherwise great airline for a super price. Will definetly fly them again.
Didn't even get water on a nearly 8 hour flight
Plane was new, boarding was smoothe and fast. One of my flights was cancelled only a couple of days before my trip, soo I had to cut the length of my trip by 5 days in order to get back home. Flight attendants were not very attentive. Leg room was terrible! I’m only 5 feet tall and I felt cramped.

Norse will charge you for everything. We were charged £50 for a carry-on bag. The only thing they serve on a 7-hour flight that you don't have to pay for is water. The in-flight meals needed to be bought in advance, but this was not made clear in any of the information we received prior to boarding. In-flight meals were $30. We will never use this airline again and advise other travelers to do the same.
New airline with brand new 787 airplanes - clean and comfortable. This is a low-cost airline. You pay a-la-cart for everything, including soda, food, blankets, even water. However, if you plan in advance, you can arrange for those things on your own and get a very good price for the flight. I had two transatlantic flights with them so far and both of them had nearly empty planes which provided just about everyone an entire row of seats and allowed for stretching out during the flight. Overall good experience.
Das Boarding war verwirrend, wir mussten nochmal von dem Gate an dem wir schon waren zurück zu einer Kontrolle um wieder zu dem gleichen Gate zu kommen. Es gab nur überteuertes Essen und Getränke im Flieger, für so einen langen Flug nichts inklusive...

Fantastic experience flying Norse all around!
We were able to upgrade to first class for a decent price which made the flight so much better. The crew was kind and attentive. Having booked through a 3rd party website (Kiwi) made it a little more difficult to manage my flight.
Need a bit more leg room for comfort.
I know this is a budget flight but no pillow for an 8 hr overnight flight? No food or drink except water unless you pay? It just seems inhuman to me. Otherwise the flight was fine
This is my first time flying with Norse Atlantic. Seems like a good airline. Nice, clean, new airplane with all expected features and comforts. Flight crew is very nice and efficient. Obviously, this is a low-cost carrier -- so you will be charged for anything beyond just a seat on the plane. There is no free food or drink, not even coffee or soda is free. Other than that very good flight experience.

Some people got meals but I never had the opportunity to sign up for a meal at booking so I didn’t eat for a 9 hour flight. They had no drinks, no blankets or pillow either - and the movie selection was very small.
Due to no fault of our own we missed our connection and no one could help us. We had to spend the night in a hotel, rebook our own tickets and pay again!
it’s budget airline. so cheap and cheerful. the food on board had mould on it and was returned. No attempts to give us a new one or equivalent, other than the fact that the air hostess said she will take it of us and take a picture of it. I would suggest people to take their own food and drinks, purely for health and safety. So you don’t get seriously sick whilst on holiday.

Crew members were fantastic.
What I liked: I was not awoken from sleep by constant interaction with flight crew through sales and marketing adverts. What I did not like: 1. Seats were smaller than on other planes. Not being able to select a seat for free can place people in dangerously confined space with no regard for their safety or well being. For some people a middle seat which is too small for their body size can put them and others at risk. 2. Exorbitant costs for check in luggage and exaggerated restrictions on luggage. Check in luggage allows passengers to bring items that are not allowed in the cabin. The weight of check in luggage does not effect the overall weight of the flight or fuel consumption if limited to the same weights. The extra fees and restrictions imposed by Norse Airlines causes haggling, or harrassing of passengers over luggage which leads to delays and more customer service costs for the airlines which more than offset the cost of simple baggage handlers. They make travel logistics much more difficult for passengers overall. 3. No wifi, not even available for purchase. In flight wifi helps passengers organize for arrival plans.

The economy fare apparently doesn't include drinking water. We checked in on line but needed to check in a second time at the airport. There was no separate line for people who only needed a new boarding pass. At least forty people in front of us were checking baggage. We were charged a second time for our carry on baggage. Apparently the payment we had made through Kayak was not related to the airline and I am struggling to get a refund for the duplicate payment.
If you pay for seat, luggage and food it ups up to a British airways flight and sorry but you can’t compare!

I had not remembered to ask for special meal though I have gluten allergy, and the staff were amazingly kind and somehow found me one extra gluten free meal for my flight. They were really good and helpful.
Too cold the whole flight
Everything was great, the only complaint was that there were full open rows after take off and the crew would not let people move to those rows without paying for those seats which was very frustrating.

I liked knowing exactly what my luggage allowance was beforehand. I liked the lower Norse price. The direct flight was excellent. I was happy with everything. I would have appreciated being offered water more frequently but if Norse don't have the time and staff to do that I understand. It's a miracle to be able to catch any plane nowadays. We can't be so fussy until the industry recovers from the coronavirus impacts.
The USB outlets were not charging our phones.
I was surprised at the airline and crew and the whole experience. Amazing honestly for the money and I fly 2-3 times a month. I’m definitely going to use them as much as I can.
It was difficult to order a meal and I ended up not being able to do it so we had to pack our own food. We weren't even offered water.
Flight was not full so we had plenty of space. Brought our own food but what we saw on board seemed to be ok. Great staff. Smooth boarding. Long overseas flight we believe you could at least provide some complimentary coffee and tea.

Traveling for 8 hours, and paying a $840 ticket the airline should provide a meal and stop charging people for it. The meal provided wasn’t even worth of the price plus the meals on the menu were completely different from what they had available. The same applies for the headset and blankets. I travel excessively and never had to deal with this situation were the most elementary things to be provided to the people according to this airline they charged for it. I will not consider this airline in the future.
I want to first thank your amazing customer service team who were incredibly responsive to any of my queries. I received email responses within minutes each time! Also I was in premium light class and the leg room is the best in the business. And the seats recline a generous amount and are like a recliner chair. Really excellent flight and I will be a frequent flyer.
Great flight for great price. Only thing they need is on board Wi-Fi and an app.

Cons: "I had a flight from London to SFO with a connection in Dublin. However, since I was traveling to the US I had to go through customs in Dublin. There was an hr an a half layover and yet I was running to the gate to make my connection. This seemed to be due to an inefficient system."

Cons: "Poor customer service. I think I said thank you many more times than the flight attendants who barely acknowledged me and seemed annoyed about performing any type of basic service (serving food/water/collecting rubbish/etc.)."

I'm very glad the company had the kindness to wait for us on the last call for boarding when you finally check your luggage 30min before departure. Cons: "BA used to feel like luxury travel. Now they just feel like any run-of-the-mill budget airline. Felt nickeled & dimed from start to finish. Staring with being asked to pay $39 if I wanted to preselect my seat. My friend and I chose the free option of selecting our seats 24 hours before the flight--her luggage didnt even make in on the plane! It was finally delivered at 2:00 AM the next morning; well past the 8:00 PM promised delivery, which caused us to lose an entire eveing in Paris. On the return flight, home, she was told there wasn't even a seat for her on the plane. I failed to add that after booking and paying for her flight, they cancelled and deleted the SFO to London leg of the flight without so much as notifying her via email, phone, or text. Mind you, the London to Paris leg was not cancelled. Had we not tried to pre-book our seats, she would never have known they had cancelled her flight. What impacted her, impacted me, so needless to say, neither of us will ever fly BA again! BTW, their online customer service representatives were very nasty to deal with."

For both legs I had to start the web Checkin at least twice. I also got an error page when I tried to print my boarding pass. I do’s not find a way to add my boarding pass to my iphone’s wallet."

Cons: "Their cc machines couldn't process America credit and debit cards (I was one of 5 ppl in my row that had the same problem). When I paid w euros they didn't have change, said they would bring if before I landed and never did. This happened both to and from EU. Additionally the internet didn't work AT ALL and none of the attendants had a Clyde as to how to set it up. Finally, the attitude at large was dismissive, the idea of customer service is clearly not one Aer Lingus has embraced."

They said that the drink cart would not be coming around but the one time 1hour into the flight before dinner, and wouldn't be coming round again, so We'd best order our drinks ahead of time if we wanted any wine etc to have with dinner. Very inconvenient. Leg room ridiculously small ."

Cons: "We had a terrible experience at the Aer Lingus desk in Paris. We got there two hours early for our flight and there was already a long line at the desk and no agents at the counter. Finally some agents arrived started checkng people in. After 15 min in line, they told us that if we were flying to the U.S., our flight was delayed and we would not make our connection, and to get out of line and wait. After 20 more minutes, they said that was a mistake and get back in line. I waited for approximately an hour and a half in line there, and had to run to my flight. There was no effort made to hurry us through security or any apologies."

Cons: "It wasn't written anywhere that my flight was serviced by air lingus. So I had to change terminals to check in barely made my flight. Slowest check in staff Ive ever encountered. No complimentary refreshments thought the credit card machine didn't work so I guess they were complimentary after all."

Cons: "They have a rather meager selection of movies and TV to watch. My flight over to Europe was on British Air, and the comparison in this regard was stark. BA has tons of movies and TV to choose from, and lots of first-run. This had about 6 TV shows, 2 episodes each, and maybe 20 movies, ranging in age but mostly not very new. When you're on a daytime flight for 7 hours, this becomes something you care about."
Pros: "I've traveled Aer Lingua several times and been pleased enough to keep choosing AL for my transatlantic trips, however this, the on February 4th 2017 was my last favorite because this time i felt the low-budgetness of travel. there was less leg room, the food was edible, the in-flight A/V was not worth the effort of trying to watch our listen and the crew in my section not very attentive. Having said that, this was a one time mediocre experience that I'm reviewing and hasn't put me off AL at all - it's a good airline and I will continue flying with them."

While I still had tons of questions of my options (and was calm and polite!), they hung up on me. I ended up not even going on my flight and note being able to cancel my flight.
