Pros: "Staff and equipment"
Cons: "Early to arrive but gate not ready so we lost our edge"

Cons: "the inefficiency and extra steps required to travel. Quite lacking in smooth transition between flights, significantly below expectations relative to other airlines"
Pros: "Seats and service."
Pros: "Plenty of meals and friendly service"
Cons: "Crowded seating...."
Pros: "Short no frills flight that was comfortable with no issues."
Pros: "Great flight!"
Pros: "Excellent service"
Cons: "I think I caught a stomach bug on one of the 3 legs of this route. More likely on last 2, i.e. Mumbai to RDU, as I fell sick almost 10-12 hrs after my last flight meal."
Pros: "Boarding was efficient"
Cons: "My luggage didn't arrive with me"
Pros: "Airline stewards were very friendly and pleasant."
Cons: "We booked with Delta, but were put on Air France. Even though we had our boarding passes in hand we had to wait in long, slow line for baggage tags because they would not print from kiosk. There was minimal Air France staff on duty serving thousands of passengers during busy season (July). While the lines grew larger, the staff was reduced from 4 to 2. Another long, slow line for customs, another long slow line for security=Charles De Gaulle airport was awful. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before our departure time and got to our boarding gate with no time to spare."
Pros: "Good Food Nice Flight Attendants"
Pros: "Plenty of entertainment options Frequent meals and snacks Attentive service from flight crew"
Cons: "Boarding process was slower than anticipated One of our bags did not make it"
Pros: "The meal on Air France (a code share with Delta) was excellent."
Cons: "Very bad seat in the exit row. It was very narrow and hardlly reclined at all. there was no place to put your things because there was no seat in front of it. Legroom was very good."
Pros: "Exceptional flight staff -"
Pros: "Cabin crew was wonderful. The food was exceptional."
Cons: "The infotainment system was a little spotty."
Cons: "We were waiting until the airport assigned us a parking slot. Instead of leaving the entertainment system on, they turned it off. We basically spent 1.5h without entertainment system."
Pros: "Delta does a good job of seating and meals and flight offerings"
Cons: "The crew were not customer oriented and seemed like they really weren't interested in their clients. Also we were bounced around between Air France and Delta at the ir port and when trying to check in online even though we booked through Delta."
Cons: "Three hours late leaving Paris. Missed our connecting flight to saint louis. Not much help from Delta."
Pros: "It was my first time to fly Air France. They exceeded my exceptions. The service was great and they made sure we were very comfortable. I will definitely fly Air France again."
Pros: "Great service"
Pros: "movies and food"
Cons: "CDG airport is the worst!!!"
Cons: "Because KAYAK reassigned my flight to airfare.com, I actually flew into JFK. Not my preference and the rebooking process was a nightmare. Very disappointed and I will not be using KAYAK ever again. So stressful."
Pros: "The food has REALLY improved!! GREAT CREW!"
Pros: "Frequent food offerings throughout the flight."
Cons: "Boarding the plane was not easy. We had to show our passports to a man who quizzed us on where we were coming from, where we were going, and asking questions about our luggage. After that we had to go through another security point and scan our boarding passes, but most people could not get through with our boarding passes, so we had to get in another line to show our passes to our agent. It was very stressful since we were running late since the border control line was so long! While it was stressful, I am glad that they were careful regarding the security,"
Pros: "Loved it all. That's good advice above :)"
Cons: "It was a blast!"
Pros: "The Airbus A330 business class seating was more spacious and comfortable than the Boeing 767 I flew to Paris from ATL."
Cons: "No opportunity for seat selection. Seat didn't recline, no blankets available so whatever part I couldn't cover with my jacket was cold from floor up (so no ability to control source), so no sleep, bordering on hypothermia. Seatmate was huge and continuously overflowing into my space (even though he suffered more than i did). Will endeavor NEVER to fly any flight involving Delta again."
Pros: "Everything was great! It is however a mystery why the attendants find it hard to smile once in a while. They were all attentive which is more important than serving with a smile."
Pros: "Fast boarding, crew, entertainment."
Cons: "Not enough lavatories, space is crazy small and the time should be changes. Arriving at 8am after spending half day awake is crazy. Unless you sleep the entire flight wI think no food no restroom."
Pros: "Only thing I liked was the time, took off on time."
Cons: "Some flight attendants were in worse mood, they don't even smile. Communication was poor, and they did not even offer me a meal. I was ignored although I paid for the meal. This was very disappointing. Next time might consider, Lufthansa or any other airlines."
Cons: "All good"
Pros: "Food in first class was quite good. Flight was smooth, and arrived early."
Cons: "The boarding agents lost control of the crowd form the get go. The first class cabin crew on our side of the plane was inattentive, though it appeared on the other half of the plane the crew was very attentive. This is one of the poorer first class seats in the industry. The "lie flat" seat is just that, a lie. It is pitched at an angle, though not as steep as some. Foot cubby is narrow and constrictive, bordering on claustrophobic."
Pros: "Beverage choices (apéritifs, wines, etc.) were decent in coach. Plane was clean. Entertainment system was very good. Boarding was organized."
Cons: "Seat width in coach was terrible. Had a heavier person next to me and I was crowded out in my seat."
Pros: "Great crew and service. Drink were served all the time. Everyone was extra nice"
Pros: "Decent food and drink. Flight attendants were very nice, although not quite as excellent as on the other Air France flights which I had on this trip"
Cons: "The seat is angled when fully reclined so there's a feeling that you'll slide off the seat, making it difficult to find a good position to sleep. Video screen seemed quite large. Headphones were noise canceling and worked well"
Pros: "Everything was great"
Cons: "Lost luggage,, will be delivered to our house"
Pros: "Flight was on time, food was fairly good, even on economy class."
Cons: "Probably not under Delta's control, but the customs at Seatac is extremely disorganized. The contrast between CDG (Paris), which was very good, and SEA (Seattle), which was very chaotic, was quite large."
Pros: "The agents at the gate were very efficient and the flight crew was attentive and pleasant."
Cons: "My seat area was not clean. The arm rest and the tray area had food? on it."
Cons: "Only the price and boarding was different for this Air France run Delta flight. All the seats (3&3), space and service were the same throughout this plane."
Pros: "Good flight, comfortable; good food."
Cons: "Entertainment system kept failing"
Pros: "I had an empty seat next to me. Flight took off on time and arrived early. Crew was pleasant."
Cons: "bathrooms were very dirty. No one cleaned them up."
Pros: "Staff was Amazing!"
Cons: "I thought I'd be flying Lufthansa but I got United. I feel Gypt."
Pros: "Food was excellent, seating was comfortable and entertainment choices were good."
Cons: "Boarding could have been more organized. It seemed to have been a little chaotic."
Pros: "Delightful crew."
Cons: "Decent dinner in business class, but pretty awful breakfast omelette. I didn’t figure out what should have been complete adjustability of seats, & crew could not help,"
Pros: "All other stuff good"
Cons: "No music options for entertainment"
Pros: "I had THE WORST experience with ONE flight attendant leaving Paris CDG, flying to Chicago O’Hare. Flight #9334. On 7/26 @ 11:22am. I am hypoglycemic and the flight attendant skipped my line for food I acknowledged her three times and she ignored me so on the fourth time I raised my voice saying “excuse me ma’am” that seem to have irritated her or rubbed her the wrong way because her response was extremely unprofessional yelling at me and accused me of startling her. She compared my voice to the startle of 911 and caused a scene in front of the majority of the passengers. All I wanted was the food that was available for each passenger because she skipped My row. After talking to another flight attendant who claim to be a manager name Celeste who was wearing a visible name tag along with every other flight attendant except for her, I asked her for the name so I could write up a review she refused to give me her name saying it was against their policy to give up first names even though it’s clearly on everybody’s shirt except hers she removed it or covered it up w/ her apron even though Robert Robert was wearing an apron with his name tag outside of his apron like he should the attendant that gave me problems took off her name tag and covered it with an apron that was a violation of dress code. A simple apology is all I asked for but she refused to apologize and the managers only response was “I can’t make her apologize” Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect on a flight as I am a frequent flyer to Paris on United everybody else and all other flights was extremely helpful and courteous. This woman started ranting and raving about 911 and getting people nervous for no reason. I will be writing a formal letter to the corporate office. I just barely got home and wanted to write this review because it ruined my experience in 9 1/2 hour flight experience. It was also very embarrassing for me and my family, as other customers were bothered by this and had to listen to this. I was trying to speak over the air conditioner and after the third time of her not acknowledging me that is one I raise my voice politely by saying “excuse me ma’am”. I am a frequent united flier. Furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 3 furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 2 1/2 hrs. By this time my back was throbbing and when I talked to the gentleman upfront he told me to write a letter for some type of compensation regarding everything I have been through. Here are pictures of the lady who is out of dress code the flight attendant and also out of line dealing with plus dealing with customers she’s obviously unhappy with her job and should not be in the customer service industry as I know for being a businesswoman myself owning my own salon I deal with customers all day and I know my number one job is to make sure my customers are happy I am not ."

Pros: "Bathrooms remained tidy in economy throughout , leg room good"
Cons: "Food was almost inedible."
Pros: "Flight was very comfortable - we upgraded to better seating and it was well worth the additional cost to have more leg room for an overseas flight. Our departure was delayed roughly 1 hour for unavoidable reasons, but we made up most of the time in the air, so we did not miss our connection."
Cons: "wish plane had phone chargers on board"
Cons: "It's a United crew. They're careless and rude."
Cons: "My Wife and I got booted from Lufthansa to a United flight where our seats were across the plane from each other. In order to sit together, we had to spend another $300. United charged us an extra $100 for a check on bag that Swiss and Lufthansa did not charge us for."
Pros: "Boarding went very smoothly. Flight attendants were good. I was glad that water was offered several times during the flight."
Cons: "Crew was great. Long wait for operations on the ground to pull plane to gate was only negative."
Pros: "Quite all"
Cons: "My tablet wasn't working ...."
Pros: "Quick early flight. Good entertainment system. Quick luggage pickup. Announcements in English and French. We could reserve seats for free"
Cons: "Boarding was a little chaotic."
Pros: "Jet Plane"
Cons: "No entertainment. No charging point for personal device in today's age. Seats that can't get any smaller, yet, still does. Seats that barely recline and yet have to be brought upright during take-off and landing. Maybe common theme between airlines, but, it stands out. Salty pretzels probably the poorest choice for free handout snacks. No choice of course."
Pros: "Organized boarding. Left on time and arrived early at destination."
Pros: "The staff were very patient and diligent. They spent a lot of time trying to accommodate me and everyone else on the canceled flight. They called it a 21 hour delay."
Cons: "The miss communication between airlines, gate people, security people and baggage people. I was constantly any form one staff person to another or prevented from going through an area because of ticketing or communication issues"
Pros: "The entertainment interface and selection was fantastic!"
Cons: "Minor, but an arm rest would not stay up. Also, let's face it, the food food is never excellent, rarely good, but understandably hard to make so."
Cons: "Small seats on aircraft."
Pros: "Crew was great, flight was very comfy"
Pros: "Crew was helpful."
Cons: "We were sitting right next to the crew resting area and it was very restricting to us. I had two little kids that I had to keep quiet for about 6 hours out of 8. Even when my kids were quiet, we were reminded twice to keep quiet. It was very restricting and I was forced to walk back and forth with my two year old to keep her quiet so the crew can rest. Why is the crew resting when they are supposed to be working on that flight? The meal quality sucked, I did not finish it, let alone my kids. My kids were prettu much hungry for 8 hrs. Not a very family friendly flight."
Pros: "arrived ahead of schedule"
Cons: "nothing really. Just a standard, OK, United flight."
Pros: "Friendly staff, - smiled and nice from beginning to end. The flight was fast and smooth. The seats were also decent and the width of the aisles had just enough room to wheel my bag and also not get hit when the carts came through. They are still too narrow, but better than some planes. I appreciated the good coffee, too (illy)."
Cons: "The food was inedible! This was the worst food I have ever had on a flight, seriously. The omeletes had the consistency of rubber, and my special meal (Asian vegetarian) was some fried thing that I couldn't eat at all and my companion - who will usually eat anything, would not touch it. I asked the attendant for an omelet instead (before I knew they were just as bad) and explained to her that the I can't eat fried food. She said she was surprised since Asian vegetarian is usually Indian - or at least discernibly Asian and so, would have been OK for a gluten-free vegetarian diet such as mine."
Cons: "Inconsiderate surrounding passengers: adults kicking my seat, pushing on my headrest, leaving feet in aisles"
Pros: "The leg room on plane was great."
Cons: "Boarding was very unorganized. They did not have enough room to line up people for organized groups. People were cutting in line, walking up in front, where as people had been in line for half an hour. they need more clarity and staff to help with this."
Cons: "A mechanical issue delayed our return by over an hour. I guess they didn't know the extent or the time needed to repair, so we boarded at the regular time and sat in the plane. Good cabin crews both ways. Food meh. The 787 over was much better than the aging 767 coming back. I like the new app based entertainment system."
Pros: "Staff was nice and plane wasn't full so had space for better sleeping since there was nothing better to do on the plane."
Cons: "I was very disappointed. Why spend so much money on updating first class and business when the rest of the seats are completely out of date. I couldn't even charge my phone to get ahold of my ride when we landed. And the tiny screens barely worked, couldn't even watch a movie because it just froze up the whole time."
Pros: "Virtually empty flight"
Cons: "1h delayed but warned about it hours before"
Pros: "Boarding I guess was good. Flight was on time and arrived early in San Francisco."
Cons: "This was not a Luftansa flight, it was United. The crew was okay, but were not very good with putting any effort in for the passengers. The entertainment systems were clunky, slow and unresponsive. They looked old and/or just poorly designed or implemented. Could have just been cheap? Mine froze during the flight and never worked after that. The food was some of the worst I've ever had on a flight. Don't choose the vegetarian option unless you want an upset stomach. Seats were cramped and uncomfortable, but at least we got a clean blanket. They kept the plane cold for some unknown reason, so we needed it."
Cons: "I couldn't put subtitles in French on English movies. 8 could only watch them dubbed. I didn't understand this as it seems standard for all other flights I've taken."
Cons: "Tried to change flight to different day, and agent said it was available. I had to call them to find out not only was the flight no longer available, but there were none in the same time frame I needed and the next option would cost $1500+. I lost over $575 for a flight I couldn't even take. DO NOT BOOK ON KAYAK!"
Cons: "Touch screen on the outgoing flight was awful...the right half didn't work so pretty much no selections could be made. The return flight screen functioned ok. Also, no USB charge port on either flight!"
Pros: "The flight staff was really nice and attentive. They provided food and drinks."
Cons: "The flight got delayed a few times and there was a lot of turbalanece."
Pros: "Attendant kept re-filling our wine glasses! Very friendly!"
Cons: "A little more leg room would be nice."
Pros: "My ticket was with Lufthansa but the airline was in fact United Airlines. My original flight was from Paris to Newark. The United flight was cancelled with no explanation. So there was nothing to like."
Cons: "The United flight was cancelled with no explanation. My orignal ticket was for a direct 8 hour flight. When my flight was rescheduled it was with a connection in Washington, D.C. with a 4 hour lay-over. I arrived home almost 5 hours later than scheduled. Awful experience!"
Pros: "The flight was smooth with a perfect landing, so I was happy with the pilot."
Cons: "The United Airline Flight Attendants who were French were rude. The pilot announced that several of them were retiring after working for 50 years. I think they stayed in their jobs too long because they were very abrupt when I asked for a USA custom form instead of a French form."
Cons: "my light does not focus on my area, but on neighbor's area."
Pros: "The purchasing experience was great."
Cons: "Had to pay for the 2nd bag for an international flight. Didn't expect it."
Cons: "The lousy attitude, mediocre equipment, non-proactive planning to prepare for a known problem......overall, this is not the airline, I used to fly few years back. I think, United knows that there are not many options for New Jersey residents to fly anywhere, without being on UA flights so they take customers for granted.......Well, it won't be for too long, if they don't get their act together.......People will start driving to Philadelphia and find themselves other choices......"
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and the movie selection was expansive ."
Cons: "There was no seat available when I arrived so I had to wait outside the gate for a long time while the crew found one. There was a shortage of blankets. The food was not as palatable as I expected."
Pros: "Nothing much"
Cons: "Service needs to be radically improved."
Pros: "I got a seat that had extended leg room so that was good."
Cons: "The plane was relatively old and therefore the entertainment system was very poor. The screen quality was bad and could hardly see the movies. The touch screen did not work well and the screen kept falling down (I had one that came out of the arm of the seat). I noticed those around me had the same issues with their entertainment systems. The service on the plane was just adequate with the staff fairly efficient but not very outgoing or positive. I recently flew LOT and Lufthansa internationally in coach (economy plus) and they provided better meals, towels for washing, more and frequent drink runs and better snacks. Overall, just a mediocre flight -- not terrible, but not good."
Pros: "The staff are friendly and cordial despite passengers weary of long lines."
Cons: "You should warn travelers, especially in summer, to get to the airport at least 3 hours in advance. The lines for check-in with United Airlines are very long and slow and other check-in points have long lines. The staff are very nice and friendly, however."
Pros: "Once I was on the flight it was fine except for the food which was decent"
Cons: "On my outbound flight from IAD to BRU my flight was delayed 3.5 hours because the "plane was late to arrive". Seems like this happens a lot on United flights. The staff at the gate of Dulles airport were extremely rude and difficult to deal with, which made it frustrating to try and figure out my connection situation. I missed my connection from Brussels to Paris and had to buy a train ticket for which I was not reimbursed by United. Then, on the way back from Paris, my flight was delayed 2.5 hours for the same reason. At least this time I had a direct flight. This entire experience makes me think twice about flying United again. I live in DC and it would be just as (in)convenient for me to go to BWI instead of Dulles for international flights, where there seems to be more options outside of flying United."
Pros: "Food was surprisingly good . I had last row on plane, aisle seat in central section. Good because there are only 3 seats across. Flight attendants very pleasant."
Cons: "The recline of my seat was not working properly. I could push it back and it would have been quite comfortable since seat slid forward a bit when back rest went back, but my seat would just spring back into upright position."
Pros: "Good leg room. Good Movies. Good Service."
Cons: "This was not Lufthansa, this was United."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "To start the flight was 1.5 hours late leaving Chicago. About one hour late arriving in Paris. 15 to 20 minutes at a time!"
Pros: "Smooth flight until very last minute. Landing was rough, very abrupt descent."
Pros: "Sitting in economy plus is definitely the way to go for a trans Atlantic flight. The seats are very comfortable and give me, an average size person, enough leg room to sit for longer periods of time. The inflight videos are great and the staff was exceptionally courteous."
Cons: "United still falls behind on food offerings. Although the food is not unexceptional, it is not the best. Definitely pack snacks if you want to eat healthier and fix your hunger cravings."
