I assume it's a safety thing but seems like there could be a better way to handle this and speed up process to make sure people aren't missing connecting flights."

AA has people waving you down the aisle looking at your passport and sending you to then Verify my boarding pass and that I had documents ok to travel, they told me I did and still sent me over to a security person who asked more questions than the immigration officials in the US, he then sent me to the counter to get my passport scanned ( not sure what that meant), after waiting 10 minutes of waiting the counter clerk asked me what I needed and I told her I was sent there, it was evident there was no reason for me to be there and she printed my boarding pass, which I didn’t need since I had a mobile pass. Then when boarding the aee two people asking a bunch of questions about people having control of their items and looking at your documents which the person who scans to board does again...really very inefficient and slow, it sure it is really helping with safety. Could be done smoother, faster and a lot less people."

Pros: "I decided to travel First Class from Houston TX and that was the greatest choice I ever made. IAH requires travelers to arrive 2-3 hrs early due to traffic or weather conditions. I checked in at 2 pm and waited for my 5 pm boarding call. First class was amazing! I stored my belongings without any issues. I sipped wine and dined on pasta and watched the movie Father Figures with Owen Wilson and Ed Helms. The stewardess was polite and friendly. The food was enjoyable and the passengers were friendly. The bathroom as also immaculate, I was impressed."

This is my first experience with American Airlines, and absolutely do not have a good impression whatsoever. There was only one person of the counter who could help re-assign passengers to different flights due to their layovers. After waiting in line for 40 minutes and the line making no movement I called the airline 1-800 hundred number and explain my situation to the American Airlines Airlines representative. they really give me a new flight that left 20 minutes later after my call if I did not call I would not mean it that flight nor any other fights that morning because they're all in the afternoon."

"This was not an Iberia Flight, this was a LEVEL flight (even if you, Kayak, sold it to me as Iberia). The ground hostess was disgraceful, and only because of her nasty behavior towards me and my family, I am planning not to fly LEVEL ever again. I am not sure I will fly through Kayak either. Because of your deceptive techniques, I thought I was buying a flight with luggge included, but I wasn’t. I had to pay 550 euros extra in luggage. Are you, Kayak, going to return this money to me? That would be elegant. And also because of your deceptive techniques, I thought I was flying Iberia, but I was not, it was Level. It turns out Iberia does take cats on board, but level does not. So once I was at the airport ready to fly with my cat, I was told cats cannot fly level. Overall, a sad and aweful experience."

Very unfortunately for me, I had developed a cough prior to flying, and when a couple of passengers complained they handled the situation very professionally and did not make things in any way awkward for me. Cons: "I am filing a complaint for my recent flight from Madrid to Chicago, IL on 2/26/17. During my flight, a five year old sat in front of me who was disruptive throughout the whole 9 hour flight. He was yelling and slamming on his tray table nonstop. This made it hard to sleep or relax on the flight. He was disruptive to everyone in the whole cabin. I tried to be patient, as it was a child, but when the child started climbing the seats of the row and kicking his legs in the aisle, I had to act. Not only was the child a hazard to the well being of the passengers of the flight, but he could have hurt himself. His parents did not seem to act on his behavior and did not speak my language so I was forced to approach the flight attendant in my cabin. I told the attendant, “N. Cara” as her name tag stated, how concerned I was with the child’s safety and how he was disrupting the flight experience of all the passengers on the flight. She was disgruntled as I was the third passenger to approach her. Instead of acting on the situation, she scolded me. In a rude and derogatory tone, she yelled at me claiming she couldn’t do anything and I should just move to a different seat. She yelled so loud she attracted the attention of all the passengers around. I am shocked and disappointed with the treatment and customer service I received from the crew on this flight. Furthermore, I recommend that the airline should ensure that their employees are competent enough to deal with situations where passenger’s safety are at risk. The fact that the crew member did not attempt to approach the child’s mother or address the situation at all was appalling. It should not be the customer’s responsibility to address disturbances or safety precautions on a flight. I do not think I was treated well on this flight and I am very unhappy with the services I received and paid a great amount of money for. I believe I should be compensated for the mistreatment I endured. This may have been the worst flight I have ever had and I do not plan on choosing Iberia Airlines ever again due to this experience."

Cons: "My family wasn't given a choice on the meal they were given which was hard because most of them don't eat fish (it was codfish). One of the flights was delayed 2 hrs & then didn't take off for 40 mins after the two hours because boarding wasn't started til 10 mins before it was scheduled to takeoff"

Cons: "TAP was late getting the first flight out, offered almost no help and almost left 22 people stranded in Portugal and tried to get us to pay for a new flight at our own expense. Customer service was terrible. Multiple people in line said they had been stranded in Portugal by TAP airlines before."

Pros: "Very efficient and competent crew. Very much like the A330 plane."
Cons: "On our flight from Lisbon to Paris Orly the baggage took two hours become it was delivered. We were later told the baggage crew forgot some of the bags."

Pros: "We really enjoyed TAP Air Portugal and expect to fly with them again. Comfortable seats, pillow, blanket, and MEALS! Good ones with actual silver! USB charging port at every seat, with a good selection of movies. Great airline for a great price!"

Cons: "TV didn't work. A female attendant made me store my hat but didn't make a male passenger."

Cons: "We were never prompted to pay for our check in baggage at the time of purchase and so when we showed up we were forced to pay 85 euros for one checked bag for an international flight on top of a ticket that already cost more than $250. The luggage restrictions were never shown previously. Will never fly TAP Portugal again."

Cons: "Boarding was slow. A group of very rowdy passengers who showed zero consideration for their fellow passengers and whom the crew did little or nothing to restrain, other than confiscating a bottle of alcohol they carried on board."

Cons: "1) An extra piece of baggage, using the iPhone TAP, was priced at EUR 65; but, finalizing the purchase, the app tried to charge me EUR 140! Had to go to LIS airport to buy at the right price. 2) Had to pay for my free of charge seats!!!! They changed 4 times!!! a) Having tickets with seat assignments free of charge, had the chosen seats confirmed on e-ticket. b) At airport, 3 days before departure, attendant informed that seats assignment had been erased; she made new seat assignments at worse location; c) On check-in, found that seats were changed again to worse even; now to the back, and “2 in the middle of 4”. d) Had to pay to get my original free of charge seat assignments!!! Had similar situations in all my recent TAP flights. Cannot believe is a system problem! Looks like more a TAP policy to short-change (long time, in my case) customers."

Cons: "Gates were switched with no notification. Sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes before takeoff apparently waiting foR the little truck to tow us to the runway. The seats are incredibly short in length, zero room for a 6’3” person. I was terribly scrunched up and uncomfortable. Knees are raw from rubbing the back of the seat in front of me. I’ll be watching flights to be sure I never take this model of plane again or chooses another airline."

Pros: "Very nice flight. Complimentary wine, meals and movies. We were in Economy Plus so the leg room was quite good."

Cons: "Book wheelchair assistance for flight, all went well. At destination Lisbon, no wheelchair no assistance very poor service."

Pros: "They broke my bag, it took them over 3 months to answer my complaint and then they said that the Manufacturer would take care of it. On top of that they made me pay to check on my bag for each flight, including connections, and they didn’t even reimburse that"

Cons: "40euro checked bag fee on an international itinerary was an unpleasant surprise. They were quite disorganized; our airport-printed boarding passes wouldn't scan at the gate, they didn't have a jet-way ready upon arrival in Lisbon ..."

Pros: "Crew on board efficient and polite. In flight entertainment on a rolling programme of videos played an an user-friendly player and all in 2 languages. Meols - two of them- stable and standard airline fare served quickly and efficiently by crew. Comfy seat with recline and tilt. Blankets and pillows provided as standard."
Cons: "The wait for check in was almost an hour longer tha. Expected and nowhere comfortable to wait. Executive lounge overpriced and meagre without any reclining seats. May as well have saved the money and used the terminal facilities No in flight magazine available to my seat for on board purchases and very little choice off goods on offer."

Pros: "Honestly I didn't like anything because before I boarded , I was charged for all my luggage . They said that tap changed there policy , how I suppose to know ? Why didn't it say anything while purchasing a ticket"
Cons: "I was charged for my 3 luggage . It's not fair . I still have the invoice , before ibbook the ticket it said that you get free luggage ."

Cons: "The service was below average, nobody seems to be eager to assist. The food that was offered on the flight was below expectations. The company should work on improving customer care"

Pros: "The staff was very nice. Only bad incident was the misinformation on getting the D Tax. We went early to the airport to do it but could not get it because of erroneous information form the check in agent."
Cons: "When we checked our bags the check in agent did not let us take out bags after getting the boarding pass so we could get the D Tax refund at Customs. She said it was not necessary. She was wrong. French customs wanted to see the merchandise which we no longer had. When we complained at TAP we were told do it in Lisbon. Again in Lisbon we could not get the D tax because that custom agent wanted to see the merchandise which was being transferred to our Lisbon - Newark flight. We loss refunds of over $400. This problem ruined a perfect trip."

Pros: "Crew did a good job of keeping their cool when my flight was canceled and merged with another. After 4 hours of delay because the Pope was traveling to the same place we were and having to hand out all new boarding passes to confused and anxious passengers, the crew were always friendly and helpful."

Cons: "My special meal request was not provided despite having email confirmation before boarding the flight. Also, my luggage was lost at the transfer of my journey"

Cons: "I flew TAP in sept 2016. It was full service invoked TAP again because of this and then had to pay for a small checked bag at the airport. Also there were a lot of sick people on this flight. Two people near me theew up."

Cons: "Food was pretty bad, the flight attendant was unfriendly, which is unlike any Portuguese we have met in our trip, maybe she was just having a bad day."

Cons: "Showed up two hours early for flight. Forgot my passport and TAP refused to help us in any way possible. Ended up having to purchase two tickets through another airline. Will never travel with this airline again or recommend this airline."

Cons: "It wasn't at all the airline's fault, but this flight saw random searches at the gate of carry-on luggage + patdowns of selected passengers. I understand fully the imperatives for security, However it would be nice if there were some way to signal passengers that they might want to get to the gate early...... Fortunately I'd experienced it before (same flight out of Lisbon) and knew there was a good chance of a repeat...."

Pros: "The captain and the crew were excellent."
Cons: "Upgrade the entertainment system."

Cons: "No vegetarian meals, unless you request it 48 hours in advance. Seats are incredibly uncomfortable and the planes are old. Compared to the entertainment services provided on other aircrafts for other aircraft providers, the experience is abysmal. Bathroom was also not well attended."

Cons: "Less meat in the food, please. I somehow missed the opportunity to request a vegetarian meal, but many other airlines offer at least one vegetarian entree option (e.g., pasta)."

Pros: "Love how tap took care of us when hurricane Mathew was passing. We were sent to a nice hotel in Fatima (city in Portugal). The company paid for our lunch dinner and breakfast. Unbelievable customer service."
