Issues getting checked in. Multiple lines which we were ushered from and to only to be told to go back to self check kiosk. By the time we get to self check kiosk for the 2nd time our gate is closed and we’ve missed our flight. Not sure why the person at the check in counter couldn’t check our bags for us and get us moving through security??? No offer of any reimbursement and additionall cost for new flight later in the day at more than twice the cost of the flight we missed. Lack of clear direction or any semblance of customer service. I guess you get what you pay for...

To be charged $20 at the ticket counter for a printed boarding pass is offensive. Despite having already checked in online, Ryannair apparently thinks I should have spent my holiday hunting down a print shop as not to incur their "get a printed boarding pass from an unpleasant ticket counter employee" fee. No boarding pass kiosks and unclear why they would not provide a digital one upon online check-in. Or rather it became clear as I handed over my debit card. Seats are intentionally designated apart from your travel companions so you'll pay more to have them switched to sit next your friend. Cabin is extra cramped. Ryannair is all-around terrible by budget airline standards.

Crew did a good job of keeping their cool when my flight was canceled and merged with another. After 4 hours of delay because the Pope was traveling to the same place we were and having to hand out all new boarding passes to confused and anxious passengers, the crew were always friendly and helpful.

I flew TAP in sept 2016. It was full service invoked TAP again because of this and then had to pay for a small checked bag at the airport. Also there were a lot of sick people on this flight. Two people near me theew up.

The staff was very nice. Only bad incident was the misinformation on getting the D Tax. We went early to the airport to do it but could not get it because of erroneous information form the check in agent.

When we checked our bags the check in agent did not let us take out bags after getting the boarding pass so we could get the D Tax refund at Customs. She said it was not necessary. She was wrong. French customs wanted to see the merchandise which we no longer had. When we complained at TAP we were told do it in Lisbon. Again in Lisbon we could not get the D tax because that custom agent wanted to see the merchandise which was being transferred to our Lisbon - Newark flight. We loss refunds of over $400. This problem ruined a perfect trip.

I paid extra for the extra-legroom seats, and that was good. Though they charge for snacks/food/drinks, I was fine with a free cup of water.

Our seats up front (2nd row) didn't recline, and it wasn't because of bulkheads or exit rows. It was a short flight, so it wasn't too bad.

I like that I got to Lisbon

It took me three hours to book my flight. First, the vueling website was down and I once I got to the payment section of the website, it crashed. Then I tired with customer service, and they could not get my payment to work on their end also. So I had to have my husband try, across the globe, and he was finally was able to book my trip. When I got to the airport in Paris, I was told i don't not purchase a ticket with baggage. Which, was incorrect because, I sat on the phone in Italy BEFORE I EVEN MADE IT TO PARIS TO BOARD MY LISBON FLIGHT, and worked out payment with customer service. Due to the fact that there were six pending flights on my credit card. And to top it all off once I was able to check in at the Paris airport, your customer service staff and ticketing staff there, treated me with such disrespect, condescending attitudes, and would not answer any of my questions but told me it was not their problem and I need to work it out with someone else. I then had to repurchase my bags and when I asked to speak to a manager, the ticketing counter said they did not have one and then directed me to the customer service counter. There I was told that they did not work for the vueling company and my issue could not be handled by them. I will never fly this airline again and will advise everyone I know to do the same.

Ryanair deliberately seperates people traveling together in order to get them to fork out an extra 7€/person. They put us in 3E, 5E, 17E and 31E (all middle seats) yet we were on same reservation! Thankfully plane was not full so we were able to shuffle seats around. Strange business plan....

I bought extra baggage service and my credit card was debited for 40 euros 2 weeks before the flight. On the day of the flight I logged on to make sure I actually have the extra baggage, turned out my account doesn't show it. So I buy another extra baggage thinking that there must be a mistake, and my card was debited again. In the airport, I was told that the system does not show any extra baggage and that I have to pay 200 euros as a penalty! After I protested, I was given a number to call to fix the issue. I tried calling for 20 min with no answer. The employee then tells me "Oh there's no-one there on Sundays" Which he failed to mention when he gave me the number. So we came to the agreement that I have to pay an extra 40 euros because the boarding time was getting close. The next day I try to call with no answer, I send an email with no answer! I was charged 3 times for one extra baggage with no response to my complaint. Not only lousy but absent customer service!

We flew from Porto, Portugal to Paris. The tourist information at the Porto airport was very helpful. The airline did provide some food!

The website was very confusing. I had a difficult time figuring out whether or not I had to pay extra to check a bag leaving Portugal. My husband and I had wine and olive oil in our baggage so knew we could not carry on our bags. A fellow passenger, much younger than I, found it impossible and ended up paying twice as much as he had to pay the "airport" price.

I arrived from another international flight and ran like crazy for my connection and arrived before the flight departed. We (along with everyone) had to check luggage (at no charge), despite being first in line (regular queue) and despite the fact that there was plenty of room in the overhead lockers (and would have sped up boarding considerably).

We fly all the time and this crew is the best ever. They made us feel comfortable and not like a burden...even when my daughter was sick. I want to choose my next destination based on where they are going.

The staff was very nice. Only bad incident was the misinformation on getting the D Tax. We went early to the airport to do it but could not get it because of erroneous information form the check in agent.

When we checked our bags the check in agent did not let us take out bags after getting the boarding pass so we could get the D Tax refund at Customs. She said it was not necessary. She was wrong. French customs wanted to see the merchandise which we no longer had. When we complained at TAP we were told do it in Lisbon. Again in Lisbon we could not get the D tax because that custom agent wanted to see the merchandise which was being transferred to our Lisbon - Newark flight. We loss refunds of over $400. This problem ruined a perfect trip.

Crew did a good job of keeping their cool when my flight was canceled and merged with another. After 4 hours of delay because the Pope was traveling to the same place we were and having to hand out all new boarding passes to confused and anxious passengers, the crew were always friendly and helpful.

40euro checked bag fee on an international itinerary was an unpleasant surprise. They were quite disorganized; our airport-printed boarding passes wouldn't scan at the gate, they didn't have a jet-way ready upon arrival in Lisbon ...

Love how tap took care of us when hurricane Mathew was passing. We were sent to a nice hotel in Fatima (city in Portugal). The company paid for our lunch dinner and breakfast. Unbelievable customer service.

Great connection. Efficient birding. Pleasant staff. Got the delux package which gives you extra leg room, extra baggage and priority boarding which came to about $125.00 for the entire ticket for a three hour non-stop flight from Barre in southern Italy to Madrid. Great value! Pleasant flight. Much better than I was expecting!

€21 to print out my boarding pass. They tell you that you have to print out your own boarding pass when you book on line but since I was traveling I didn’t have a printer.

Check in was easy.

Aircraft was old and run down. The BCN terminal did not have enough seating and not knowing the gate until an hour before the flight kind of sucks.

I paid extra for the extra-legroom seats, and that was good. Though they charge for snacks/food/drinks, I was fine with a free cup of water.

Our seats up front (2nd row) didn't recline, and it wasn't because of bulkheads or exit rows. It was a short flight, so it wasn't too bad.

I like that I got to Lisbon

It took me three hours to book my flight. First, the vueling website was down and I once I got to the payment section of the website, it crashed. Then I tired with customer service, and they could not get my payment to work on their end also. So I had to have my husband try, across the globe, and he was finally was able to book my trip. When I got to the airport in Paris, I was told i don't not purchase a ticket with baggage. Which, was incorrect because, I sat on the phone in Italy BEFORE I EVEN MADE IT TO PARIS TO BOARD MY LISBON FLIGHT, and worked out payment with customer service. Due to the fact that there were six pending flights on my credit card. And to top it all off once I was able to check in at the Paris airport, your customer service staff and ticketing staff there, treated me with such disrespect, condescending attitudes, and would not answer any of my questions but told me it was not their problem and I need to work it out with someone else. I then had to repurchase my bags and when I asked to speak to a manager, the ticketing counter said they did not have one and then directed me to the customer service counter. There I was told that they did not work for the vueling company and my issue could not be handled by them. I will never fly this airline again and will advise everyone I know to do the same.

I was told that my carry on luggage was too big for the overhead bin and had to pay 35 euro. The flight attendant attempted to fit it in the bin and it fit just fine. So thanks...I paid for something I didn’t have to.
