Cons: "I arrived 13 hours late, had two extra flights. I was delayed 3 hours first flight, 1.5 hours second flight after watching two flights that I “wasn’t allowed” to be on depart right in front of me at 9 and 10 instead of the 11 that they rebooked me on. Once I landed in Lisbon after the second flight that o wasn’t supposed to take. We missed the connection by 5 minutes and there were many people flying to my same destination. I had to wait 5 hours in Lisbon when I shouldn’t have ever went to Lisbon. I bought a ticket from Newark to Zürich through Porto 10 hours in total. I think TAP overbooked everyone and seated us on purpose. The secondflight was delayed due to “bad weather” and it was perfectly nice outside. Shame on TAP. I’m sure other people are complaining."

It was imposible to accept, so I've cancelled and bouhgt another ticket from other airline and ask for refund. Three months later I still waiting for the money. Not recommend at all TAP."

Cons: "When we checked our bags the check in agent did not let us take out bags after getting the boarding pass so we could get the D Tax refund at Customs. She said it was not necessary. She was wrong. French customs wanted to see the merchandise which we no longer had. When we complained at TAP we were told do it in Lisbon. Again in Lisbon we could not get the D tax because that custom agent wanted to see the merchandise which was being transferred to our Lisbon - Newark flight. We loss refunds of over $400. This problem ruined a perfect trip."

Pros: "I know the flight between Lisbon and Amsterdam is only 3 hours, but it could have been better. First, boarding was a mess because no one could hear announcements being made. Once on the plane, things only got worse. I'm a small person- only 5'4" and even I had no leg room! This was made worse when the seat in front reclined- very claustrophobic. There were also zero entertainment options."

Even when my kids were quiet, we were reminded twice to keep quiet. It was very restricting and I was forced to walk back and forth with my two year old to keep her quiet so the crew can rest. Why is the crew resting when they are supposed to be working on that flight? The meal quality sucked, I did not finish it, let alone my kids. My kids were prettu much hungry for 8 hrs. Not a very family friendly flight."

Cons: "I was delighted to spend the extra money to have the Lufthansa experience, riding on an airline considered in the top ten airlines out of 100, as opposed to United's ranking of 68, down from 60 the year before. I was extremely surprised to find that I, indeed, was scheduled for United. The double trip code was VERY inconvenient, found myself constantly having to call the other airline to book the seat, find the gate, find out about luggage limitations, etc. Not intuitive in any manner. Please don't confuse customers with your 7 point tiny type saying we're just kidding, you'll really be on an airline of our choice when the day comes!!! but you'll pay the bigger bucks!!! UGH."

Cons: "Just before announcements to board, the gate agent advised the plane was being checked out / aircraft maintenance. The creeping delay commenced: 20 minutes, then 15 minutes more, then 30 minutes more, etc... with very little communication about when what going on. Finally, we were advised of a gate change and new aircraft. We landed 93 minutes late. Problems happen but keep customers informed!"

We were referred to one person after the other only to finally end up in a 3hour line at customer service where we were told we miss the ground transportation and would have to find our own way home. We rented a car from Hertz and drove to Richmond arriving at 5:30am.... very disappointing."

Cons: "A mechanical issue delayed our return by over an hour. I guess they didn't know the extent or the time needed to repair, so we boarded at the regular time and sat in the plane. Good cabin crews both ways. Food meh. The 787 over was much better than the aging 767 coming back. I like the new app based entertainment system."

I had to call them to find out not only was the flight no longer available, but there were none in the same time frame I needed and the next option would cost $1500+. I lost over $575 for a flight I couldn't even take. DO NOT BOOK ON KAYAK!"

We received no email notification of this change and were very confused when we arrived at the airport and Lufthansa employees told us they don't operate a flight direct to New York. The flight was very nice with United but notice of this change was needed."
