Traveling with bulky blankets and pillows in order to be able to sleep on a night flight is not always possible. JB provides eyemask and ear plugs, which is ridiculous. I can bring my own eyemask and ear plugs. I even paid extra for upgrade seats! The headrests are not adjustable and the recline is barely noticeable. It was a long 6 hour flight! No entertainment. I have flown other airlines to South America and been able to enjoy full feature recent release films, TV shows and games. Why can't JB figure out how to do that on their international flights? No meals. All other airlines offer meal service on their international flights. I pay as much for JB flights as I have for other airlines going to South America. The value for JB tickets just isn't there. To fly JB, picture yourself getting on board with your own pillows, blankets, entertainment and food. That about sums it up."

Cons: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."

The show was at 11 am and I arrived at Richmond at that time. Your airline sucks. To make it worst on my way to Aguascalientes I got stuck in Houston for the night and half a day because yall delayed flights due to snow that never happened. I had to before for food vouchers because I had already gone over my budget with the delay. Overall it was a horrible experience."

The bag claim services from when I landed in Richmond didn't have a clue on how to contact Newark or to confirm my bags will be on the flight for that day. I had to do the research and find it myself while she watched a movie on her iPad. Needless to say if I could give a negative star rating I would. I missed the banquet and received my bags the next day and still couldn't get a reason from either airport on why they got left behind."

I was just standing there waiting when a young girl walked by me in a uniform and said rudely and almost annoyed, "do you have a question". I replied that I was waiting on my bag. She then said these are it and I said so my bag has been lost? Without any empathy AT ALL she again, rudely and now most definitely annoyed said Do you have your bag tag? I said yes and she proceeded to walk away to a corner office. I assumed I was to follow. She took my tag, no communication at all from her, I said what are you doing and she replied I have to file a claim. She then proceeded to tell me that Newark Airport was horrible and never travel through there if I know what's good for me. This was extremely unprofessional. I was simply wanting some guidance from her on what to expect etc. I had to ask her what my next steps were. She handed me a flyer and said if I had any questions to call baggage information listed on the pamphlet. I left. The next day at about 1 p.m. I called the number and the update said my bag had left the airport and was out for delivery. Keep in mind that I had to work the next day after the airline losing my bag and had to purchase shower items etc due to them being in my lost bag. Portland jetport and my home address is less than 40 minutes apart, yet my bag did not arrive at my home until 8:30 p.m. and I'm also not confident it would have ever arrived because I called around 7 p.m. and spoke with someone who called the delivery service to ask their ETA. I paid $25 to check my bag and yet it was lost. What did I pay for?! If I can help it, I will NEVER fly United again and I'll be certain to tell everyone I know about my experience with this airline."

It was close and stuffy, very little space to stretch or move about when that was allowed. I'm not tall, but in terms of body mass I'm thicker and wider than many folks, but not obese, and my body thermostat tends to run on the warm side. So the flight was a bit of a physical and mental ordeal for me. The entertainment might have been great had my headphone port been operational. A previous passenger broke off the plug in the hole and the flight staff didn't have a pair of pliers on board to pull it out. Consequently, I was unable to listen to the media in-flight. Also, I couldn't recline my seat because the fussy older woman who sat behind me complained when I did, which made it difficult to snooze."

Luckily I got a full refund. Definately not worth the hassle and airport drama I will NEVER fly this airline again. I feel sorry for their employees who have to deal with such a shitty system."

How about come to work on time? Lastly, the flight attendants were nice but unprofessional. They were joking around and laughing through announcements, etc. I'm not a fuddy duddy and its okay to have a little fun but...I just didn't feel like they were taking it seriously at all."

I ended up stuck in the airport alone for seven hours, some people were told they had to wait until the next day! I've flown many times and this is the ONLY airline I have ever seen that did such a thing. I will NEVER use them again, nor will I recommend them."

At 11:20 they announce that our plane landed and just needed to unload and get cleaned and we could start boarding shortly. Two minutes claret we were told the flight was cancelled. They told us everyone would fit on the 3:49 flight that would arrive in Orlando at 4:10. By that time I was tired of waiting and just wanted to get to Orlando so I asked to get on the flight to Tampa that was leaving at 12:15. The airline wouldn't get me a flight that was with delta that would have leaf at 6:55. They only offered a seat on one of their later flights, a refund, or a $7 meal voucher. That meal voucher wasn't even enough to cover the cost of a bagel and coffee. Also when I purchased the ticket it didn't say anything about paying for a carry-on bag. When I got to the airport I found out I had to pay $55 to take my carry-on. This was my worst flight experience."

I got to the door 15 minutes before the departure time (because of the long lines at security at Atlanta Hartsfield airport) and the door was closed already. When I tried to rebook the flight for that same day, along with a lot of other people, the Spirit personal were rude and slow. They were not familiar with the system and took forever to find a way to re arrange the international part of my trip. Of course, when they realized how to do it, all the options for my first flight (I was stopping at Fort Lauderdale) were taken and they can't offered me any options. I ended up buying a new ticket (with another airline!!!) because I needed to be at my destination that same day. Never again in Spirit!!!"

The lady at the counter laughed at me and proceeded to tell me no. The flight ended up getting canceled and the next flight I could be moved to was over 24 hours later. Needless to say I ended up taking my money back and will not be using the gracious $50 credit the airline offered me. After checking the other flight that left later the weekend it was plagued with massive delays also. Not sure how this airline stays in business."

She was only trying to give me ATL to NORTH CAROLINA to Baltimore or ATL to Orlando to Baltimore. Which doesn't make sense at all. Finally after asking multiple times she was able to "find" me in her database a flight leaving at 7:30 am. There's more to this but I don't feel like typing it all out. No food or hotel vouchers from anyone. Sucks because I was having a bad weekend with a family emergency. Had no money on me and hadn't eaten. I could've definitely made it had I been able to get on the flight I paid for with the last bit of money I had on me. Greyhound was 3 times cheaper and may have been faster. Bad experience. At least a food voucher and hotel accommodations would have been nice. You get what you pay for I guess! I'm just happy someone from my church ministry was able to come gete from the airport so I could eat and sleep on an actual bed. I'm not from this city and do not know anyone. Not OK. Beware of Spirit Airlines."
