Pros: Very friendly crew, very clean cabin, very comfortable seatsRead more about Lufthansa
Pros: Very friendly crew, very clean cabin, very comfortable seats
Pros: The crew, leg room with seats! The flight crew was extremely nice!!!!
Cons: Everything was pleasant....I wouldn’t change anything.
Cons: Food is a joke
Pros: Comfort of A380 Legs space
Cons: Terrible Connecto in Frankfurt We had to run for 15mn to get our Singapore flight with no help from Lufthansa: poor service
Pros: The fight had a lot of open seats as I had a whole row to myself! Also the crew was kind.
Cons: Flight was delayed, but it didn’t interfere with my travel plans.
Pros: Crew was very friendly and attentive. Seats were very tight and uncomfortable, specially for a 6’3 tall person!
Cons: Boarding could be a little bit more organized
Cons: Better Communication from Lufthansa
Cons: Confortable seats
Cons: A delay to unload then reload bags, followed by no in-flight communication of connecting flights, led to a missed connection and an overnight hotel stay.
Pros: I was seated in Row 18 (comfort economy?) and my seat was relatively comfortable. The cabin was clean and pleasant. The crew was friendly, efficient, and professional.
Cons: My family was seated in the economy section and their seats were extremely uncomfortable. I had the pasta dish for dinner and it was mushy to the point of being inedible.
Pros: Spacious seating, easy access to charging plug and good movies.
Cons: Boarding is never fun, why not do back first?
Cons: Yo no pude viajar y no tube ni siquiera una remuneración un empleado de luftansa me dijo que no podía viajar Ali mejor por que no le simpatize y le quedó sin viajar y perdiendo dinero tiempo
Pros: for the first time ever, my kid ate the airplane food, and it was because it was good. the service was really good and the staff outstanding.
Cons: Te cabin pressure gave us headache. always happens with the A380 though.
Pros: Crew, boarding, seat
Cons: Paris airport is extremely passenger unfriendly. Better to connect somewhere else
Pros: on time no hassle
Cons: nothing in particular
Pros: Great hospitality
Cons: The fact that I was re routed that my flight from Paris was late and made me miss my connection.
Pros: Attentive and friendly crew, good selection of in-flight entertainment
Cons: Crew did not come around very frequently with water throughout flight, mostly only during regular beverage service.
Pros: The staff was communicative and genuine. The food was decent. Even though the flight arrived late I felt ok about it due to the direct communication of details about the situation. I was stuck in the extremely cramped space of seats just in front of the lavatory making the seat in front me 5 inches from my nose when reclined but the staff was sympathetic offering to ask the passenger in front of me to redress their seat more upright and also allowing me to spread out across two seats to compensate.
Cons: While the staff compensated for the more than standardly cramped seating arrangement, I think the row of seats just in front of the lavatories should be either better designed or designated not usable. I am only 5’3” and 125lbs but still was faced with a mere 5 inches in front of me when the passenger in front of me reclined his seat. I couldn’t even stand in order to exit the row and had to crawl over the seats to my side. This had me thinking how dangerous this row could be in case of an emergency. Please consider designating these seats either not to be used or optional for passengers.
Pros: great airport and ease of check in and quickness on boarding flight.
Cons: boarding everyone all at once creates long unnecessary lines when staggered boarding would help
Pros: Getting a text alert so I didn't waste my time going to the airport
Cons: The fact that Sunday morning my flight was cancelled Saturday night with no apparent reason or explanation given.
Pros: How all drinks, food, snacks & headsets are included and the staff so respectful and kind.
Cons: The guy behind me coughing all over me. Not exactly your issue though.
Pros: Great service, comfy plane, smooth ride.
Pros: Arrived with enough time for me to connect to my international flight.
Cons: Boarding had no clear order. Had an international connecting flight and by the time I needed to board, there was no room in the overhead and I had to check my luggage. The airline should provide a vegan snack option for customers.
Pros: The food for the morning was a white chocolate cranberry cookie which was delicious
Cons: Our plane was 30 mins late and the terminal was right next to security so we couldn’t hear them when they spoke the English or French on the PA system about us being delayed. We just barely made our connecting flight and our next flight was way better in service. Our luggage didn’t make the connection and hoping that all our precious cargo from our anniversary trip made it. The flight attendant told us we had enough time to make it to our next flight but I honestly ran from one point of the airport to the other. The staff said it wasn’t that far and no checkpoints to go through - this information was false.
Cons: The boarding area was cramped.
Pros: The crew was kind and helpful and the movie selections, food, and seats were all great.
Pros: Crew attention
Pros: Flight went well.
Cons: Frankfurt airport is large and complex. Takes some effort to negotiate from one flight to another.
Cons: Expect to pay $85 euro for a carry on bag that they will ask you to check in. This is our returning trip with the same set of bags for the round trip to Paris. At the gate we were asked to check in the other carry on bag which we bought right before the trip making sure it fit the new small size req. Still that was put into check-in. We ended up with no carry on luggages with us boarded. Only to find quite a lot of bags that are much bigger than ours were allowed to be in the cabin.
Pros: I was sleep the whole time
Cons: It was okay
Pros: Food was great. Good movies. Friendly staff!
Cons: The television screens were very old and discolored.
Pros: Crew were all super polite and friendly
Pros: Water bottle when we arrived at our seat.
Cons: Paying 8 euros for premium movies AND if you wanted earphones (I had my own), you would need to pay 2 euros more. Excessive. Choice of movies was rather limited even in premium. In regular, it was quasi non-existent (2).
Pros: The water and small coffee cake was nice to have on this connecting flight.
Cons: First, I had issues with checking into my flight online, which lead to me having to print my boarding pass at the airport. Since I had a separate flight with Eurowings that sent me from Munich to Paris, which was not connected with this flight, I came in directly into the airport and no where near a Kiosk to check in or print out my ticket/boarding pass. I explained to numerous employees my situation and they casually exclaimed I should be able to make it in. Once I got into the airport I could barely get through security since I did not have my boarding pass. I kept explaining I don't have a boarding pass because I could not check into my flight to obtain it. Then when they finally let me through with only 10 minutes to spare before my flight's gate would close, I finally reached the boarding desk only to be told I had to wait because out of the two men who were scanning boarding passes, they were too busy to help me. I then had to explain three times that I had already paid for and booked my flight, however, I could not check in online and was having an issue with an error that stated I was missing information, even though there was nothing marked in red or anything marked to edit, so each time I tried it denied me. I also tried calling for customer support and did not get a hold of anyone because the lines were too busy. After explaining all of this to the man at boarding, he made me wait an additional 5 minutes before helping me check into the flight and print out my boarding pass. I was treated like a stand-by customer and I did not appreciate it since I paid for this flight and tried to check in 24 hours prior. I was expecting much more from Lufthansa, as my boyfriend recommended this flight company to me, but I was extremely disappointed in so many ways it makes me question whether I want to fly this airline again for future trips abroad.
Pros: Smooth flight. No delay, no unpleasant surprise.
Pros: On my going flight MSP to Frankfurt, I had a normal seat and as a tall person, it was miserable. The seats were so tight I had to have my legs in the aisle and constantly stand just to make it. On the return I was given an exit row and it was quite nice.
Cons: Condor is a reduced price airline so I was not expecting a large amount of entertainment. But only two free movies was a little bit extreme. The music selection was good.
Pros: The flight was not fully booked.
Cons: The snack provided was totally insufficient. the check-in staff were stringent about luggage size and weight even when the flight was not full.
Pros: The flight was short and well organized, boarding relatively efficient, snack was just OK, service was nice and crew was very accommodating and seemed happy. Mobile boarding options worked well.
Cons: Snack could be better.
Pros: phenomenal transfer from one flight to the next, thank you lufthansa
Pros: The flight was on time enough that I comfortably got to my connecting flight. It was still late and some other passengers were anxious they wouldn't get theirs. The crew was nice.
Cons: Business class seats were regular seats with the middle seat unused. The "meal" on this early flight (had to leave the house around 4:30am to get to it) was light. I'm glad I had the time to stop at the business lounge first. I don't recall any entertainment system, which isn't a big issue on this short flight.
Pros: made sure we didnt miss our connecting flight to denver after flight from paris was delayed. met us at landing and took us to immigration and gate
Pros: Geat customer service by flight attendants.
Pros: Food was pretty darn good, and the crew was very generous with drinks.
Cons: There was some metal box by my left foot that restricted my leg room even more than usual. But I'm not sure if there was anything that could have been done about that.
Pros: The leg room was definitely more than on a US flight, which I gravely appreciated.
Cons: Boarding was a bit chaotic -- no rhyme or reason . Pasta dish and chicken dish were both low quality.
Pros: Boarding and flight was on time
Cons: Seats and comfort was heavily compromised in economy class
Cons: It would have been nice to know if each meal contained cheese, as oposed to just general "chicken and rice" and "noodles with marinara and cheese" It turned ut the rice was in a cheese sauce, and i could not eat it, and could also not eat the alternate option. Please think about giving out a detailed list of ingredients for the in flight meals so we can make more informed choices when we have food restrictions!
Pros: All the services were great.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Pros: Fast on ant off
Cons: Not enough hip or leg room which is somewhat usual, but recent flights with United are much better
Pros: Calm, friendly and professional crew, good food and spotlessly clean aircraft.
Cons: Disorganized boarding. People were jumping the line saying they were in the zone that was called when they couldn’t have been. I was there early (one of the 1st) but because I’m polite and only approached the gate when my zone was called, ended up at the back. More monitoring of this would help because I saw other people bothered by this.
Pros: Smooth flight from Copenhagen to Berlin - uneventful which is good. They even offered free coffee and tea.
Pros: The flights and food were good. no problems there.
Cons: There was a baggage strike in Copenhagen. We sat on the tarmac for about an hour awaiting a gate opening. The flight to Chicago took off an hour late and we missed our connecting flight into Columbus. And our bags never arrived in Chicago.
Pros: The was knowledgeable, but customer acumen sucks.
Cons: The crew does not acknowledge the passengers. Even when one the crew member was pushing a shopping cart down the aile with the Merchandise for people to purchase, she was just in such a hurry to avoid passengers.
Pros: Crew was great and the plane was comfortable. All the amenities were included in the price and that was a plus.
Pros: Good airline
Cons: Plane was changed to a different plane and caused lots of confusion. Boarding process was chaos, loaded all passengers in a room too small with many standing and getting too hot.
Cons: The pilot strike resulted in cancellation of my flights so getting home turned in to a challenge
Cons: The food offering
Pros: Major delay that caused me to miss a connecting flight. Food was also very mediocre (beef with chocolate sauce???) and many people in my flight were forced to check regulation carry ons for exorbitant fees. I would expect this kind of thing from a budget airline like Ryanair or something, but thought SAS could do better.
Pros: Beautiful airport, nice merchandise and merchants.flights on time.
Cons: In Copenhagen I left my iphone in the bin during security check. Half an hour later i heard my name on P.A. system. The message was muffled and never repeated. I ran in circles trying to retrieve my phone and I got very poor assistance. I had to be deboarded an boarded again and barely made my flight. I was misinformed several times and ran around the airport with my hand luggage like a chicken without a head. Why wasn’t it brought to my gate? They had my info.
Pros: Good crew
Cons: Premium economy wasn’t as good as others
Pros: Nice staff, comfortable seats with good room, complimentary beverages with refills offered.
Cons: Late leaving, when boarding in CPH had to wait in extremely hot area once past the desk where our boarding passes were scanned and then the area where we had to queue just prior to boarding the plane was glass and therefore extremely hot. The worst issue was that there was one family with extremely loud children with the parents doing nothing. I saw a steward way up the plane looking down at them at one stage while serving another passenger but she did nothing. I like children but this was constant with the father actually encouraging the children to make more noise once he realised that other passengers were annoyed. There were plenty of other children on the plane who were behaving. Although SAS staff were aware of this they did nothing to ensure the comfort of the other passengers. One friend of mine stood for about 40 minutes at the back of the plane and another for about 20 minutes to get away from this constant noise as it was so loud and persistent. I had to listen to music to block it out.SAS staff should have intervened because this was very loud and as I have said constant i.e. every few seconds for most of the flight.
Cons: How possible with any criteria could charge 33€ for 1.5 such exagerate no good company at all ..
Cons: Expensive rates on luggage
Pros: Efficient processing of passengers onto aircraft.
Cons: They only offered tea and coffee for free as a drink and nothing anything more, and were not kind at explaining this.
Pros: The airline staff were so positive and friendly. Really made the long trip easier.
Cons: ended up having to put both of our large carry-on items under the seat in front of us while the flight attendants stuffed people's coats and jackets into the overhead
Pros: Smoothest landing I've ever experienced.
Cons: I missed the refreshments, if any were served at all. Granted I was tired and probably dosed off during that part of the flight.
Cons: Booked SAS Go level which included 1 piece of luggage each. At check-in, we were told that is not the case despite SAS' own website saying that it is. I was charged another $320 and I am disgusted with their business practices which revolve around, deceit, lies andl I would even say fraud! There were many others complaining about the SAS Go luggage issue and then having to pay again. I could have gone with Ryan Air for a fraction of the cost.
Pros: The flight crew were very nice and helpful..
Cons: I didn't like that we waited an hour to take off I had to run through the terminal in Chicago to catch my flight to Dallas. I had to rush though customs then run to check in baggage didn't have time just to drop off and run to shuttle then run to terminal security check in then run to my gate to catch my flight I was 2 minutes before my gate closed. I barely made the flight. I am also still waiting on United Airlines to find my luggage, they are supposed to call me and drop off my luggage.
Pros: I had a connecting flight in Stockholm and forgot my laptop in the first plane. SAS personnel was very friendly and got me my laptop quickly and I was able to make my connection, even though it was pretty tight.
Cons: Seats with too little space.
Pros: we landed 20 minutes before schedule
Cons: Out of all the staff on board they did not give me and a few others those blue customs form, so we made a huge line and when we got to the agent he told us we had to go all the way around fill one out and then come back. The attendants new that those were necessary why so many yet not one made sure we got them lousy service. I wish we got a crew that wasnt so insecure and cared more about providing a good service instead of caring so much over their appearance. I rather have good efficient staff what they look like doesnt matter to me.
Pros: Was able to selct my seat
Cons: Had to pay €70 to check in luggage - most expensive ive ever seen! No beverages other than coffee and tea abailable, water could be appreciated
Pros: they were quick and apologetic
Cons: I did not like having to pay Euro 70 for my luggage at the AP. I do not recall ever having got the option to pay for my suitcase online when I booked my ticket. You guys need to make this more clear.
Pros: Flight was on time, boarding was efficient.
Cons: No free snack? Come on. What is this, wizzair?
Pros: On time arrivals/departures, competent staff who were polite and attentive - plane very clean!
Pros: Nice meal, friendly staff
Pros: The flight was comfortable. Boarding was fast and easy. Flight crew was attentive and friendly. I would 100% fly with SAS again.
Cons: Our checked bag was delayed for a very long time. It came out 15 minutes after our baggage carrousel claimed all the bags from our flight were completed. My wife was obviously extremely concerned and it started our honeymoon off on a more stressful note than it had to be.
Pros: Staff seemed nice. Boarding didn't take too long even when I was selected for a random check.
Cons: The air conditioning didn't go on until take off. There were no options for food. All alcoholic beverages were not complementary and priced too high. I got sick after eating the meal that was provided. i reserved a seat but at check in the computer assigned me a different seat number. I was flying with a family member and instead of sitting next to them I had to sit next to a stranger.
Pros: Was told to collect our luggage and buy a new ticket!!!!
Cons: Wasn't allowed to board connecting flight
Pros: great plane and food and crew
Cons: cant pre book luggage way too expensive for bags
Cons: sas online seat selection and checkin, computer crashed
Pros: The plane was well kept and the entertainment system worked well with enough choice. The crew was average: no problems.
Cons: The (transatlantic) flight was delayed 8 hours and the only compensation received was 175DKK for lunch. Had to stay in the airport over 11 hours due to this delay and had already had a 16 hour layover from the day before. I realize that unexpected delays may occur, particularly in cases where passenger safety is in question, but delays of more than 5 hours cause major inconvenience and I felt stuck in the airport with my bags and having checked out of my hotel room already. Just compensating for lunch is not enough. In the future a partial reimbursement for the flight, access to the priority lounge or a more comfortable facility such as a hotel would provide the passengers with compensation proportional to the inconvenience.
Cons: After losing the bag they had charged me 60 Euros for, it took them over 24 hours to trace, retrieve and deliver the bag. They made no offer to refund the fee, which any reasonable company would have done.
Pros: The plane was new, great seats and staff
Cons: Delayed flights, microphone is too fuzzy, hard to understand. Also why couldn't we get 2 or more sodas.. Crazy! The Asian airlines beat you! Very expensive stuff like a small red bottle of wine was like almost $15! Nuts... Very disappointed.. It should be free for the money we pay! Also staff just let people leave their windows open which was crazy coz most passengers are tired from other trips and of course in Europe you can hardly see anyone letting the elderly and children have any first priority boarding or let alone line up. I had my disabled husband and a young active little grandchild... Cathay Pacific, PAL,KAL, CAL are great about priority boarding for the elderly and children. Its sad your company do not have compassion or empathy for families with little children and the elderly population.. They really suffer!
Pros: we didn't crash
Cons: it was extremely hot in boarding area. when we landed we sat on the tarmac for an hour with no air conditioning and we weren't allowed to use the
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: Seats uncomfortable and way too small especially when people in front lean back in your space. Not enough space to put feet. Also I paid for my family of three to be grouped together on flight from Stockholm to Chicago and we were seated in separate aisles so we could not converse together at all. I feel I got cheated in that aspect.
Cons: 2 hr delay on a 2 hr flight
Cons: Over crowded boarding area - delay at departure
Cons: Everything...I was not on the flight. The fight was cancelled due to the on-going Swedish pilot strike. The first option SAS provided was getting out in a week. I said that would not work. They then scheduled me on Lufthansa, but due to delays in Frankfurt due to weather we missed out connection to ORD. 4+ hours after standing in endless lines Lufthansa resheduled us the next day. But, it took nearly two days to get home.
Cons: Delay was ovet 4 hours.
Pros: friendly and helpful people,on time, efficient
Cons: This is not SAS's problem, but it was not very pleasant to have to board the plane by steps in the pouring rain. Got through it, though!
Pros: Cabin crew was nice.
Cons: Plane was old and really dirty. no televisions. I booked a premium seat, but was assigned a middle seat in economy. Not sure where the glitch took place. Cabin crew was friendly though. ALSO, SAS/United booked my connection through O'Hare, giving me about 1.5 hours to clear customs and security...I was only able to make my flight due to some nice people who let me cut lines and a lot of running through the terminal. Generally annoyed with the experience.
Cons: Why does SAS require passengers to use a kiosk to get boarding passes and luggage tags and then make you stand in a queue for 35 minutes just to drop off the luggage at de Gaulle airport in Paris.
Pros: Nothing. Literally nothing.
Cons: EVERYTHING!! Packed like sardines with ZERO distancing for a four hour flight. Flight attendants were horrible and did nothing to mandate mask wearing. Literally watched a guy sleep nearly the entire flight with his mask off and the FA walked by him multiple times without saying anything. Will never fly with American after their abysmal attempt to keep us safe. I did not feel safe for a second on that horrendous flight. Definitely getting a COVID test and I will know where I got it from if I test positive. Also the seats are uncomfortable and it was a very bumpy flight (I understand that part cannot be avoided). I don’t understand how you cancel flights and bump people to other flights only for them to be SUPER packed. I thought at the rate of cases rising airlines should be doing a better job at taking safety precautions. Not American. Why do they think it’s a safe idea at this time to have my wife and I packed in with a total stranger for four hours? No social distancing whatsoever! Overall I cannot say a single good thing about this flight. Worst in my entire life
Cons: The flight was 2 hours delayed because there was a mechanical issue on the plane. We sat and waited on the plane for 1 hour while the Maintenance crew tried fixing the problem. After sitting there for one hour, they told us the problem wasn’t fixed and we have to change aircrafts. The other aircraft was all the way in terminal D (we were in terminal A) and the boarding process took a long time. Overall it was an awful flight and experience with American Airlines. I missed my mother’s birthday party because of the 2 hour delay.
Pros: The crew were wonderful and understanding and good sports.
Cons: There were problems as soon as the plane got to the gate. After the passengers got off the plane, the man at the counter came on the P.A and said it’ll be a few minutes, they’re catering the plane now from the back to the front. The flight crew still needed to get on a preform safety checks. He apologized again. Then it was 8:40, time to take off and we’re still waiting to even board. The man at the counter said again, thank you for your patience and relayed the same message, only this time the flight attendants were walking away from the gate. Around 9 some lady higher up told the man to announce that the flight crew had timed out and stand by crew was on the way to the gate, said sorry again. A little later the man says sorry, there’s a gate change. You’re going to K6 now. When we get to the new gate it’s almost 9:30pm and while we were all gathered at the gate, the flight crew that supposedly “timed out” showed up and proceeded to get on the plane. Passengers started getting mad and saying we were lied to and to just tell us the truth. Chicago PD started showing up. We finally got on the plane but it would be another 30 minutes before we moved because of issues getting our bags off the original plane. We ended up being almost 2 hours delayed.
Pros: Everything was great. I especially liked the enter active map that showed some towns and lakes we flew over and the speed and elevation of the aircraft.
Cons: More details on the map, for example, show landforms, mountain ranges, major roadways, rivers, etc.
Pros: The place to charge the phone is easily accessible on the back of the seat in front (as opposed to underneath).
Cons: Did not like that I had to check my bag at the gate
Pros: Horrible !!!
Cons: Be on time !!!!
Pros: I didn’t interact with the crew but they seems nice.
Cons: The trip from HonoluIu to Los Angeles was too warm.
Cons: The WiFi I was terrible other than that great flight
Cons: Be on time. Plus we were in first class and it would be nice if the center counsel was smaller giving the passenger more seat room.
Pros: Not much
Cons: The carrier was supposed to be Alaska it turned out to be American Airlines and with that comes the confusion checking in with the wrong confirmation number. On a separate note, this was a bundled itinerary and the Thrifty Car shuttle was so infrequent and slow to the terminal I nearly missed my flight... I am not sure if I would bundle my travel plans again..,,also Thrifty car rental was short on cars in Liz Angeles on arrival
Pros: It was on time, no delays
Pros: Made it to destination
Cons: Gate changed without any notification
Cons: I had a delay of 4 hours. Got home very late. Not what I had planned on.
Cons: Delayed takeoff by 1 hour waiting for a crew to fly in. Upon crew arrival, new crew member states that there are standby crew available and he's not sure why they didn't call on them. Then we continued to wait for 3 more passengers who were delayed and now had a chance to board our flight. Once landed, gate was occupied by yet another flight running late so we waited for 15 minutes to get to the gate.
Cons: Hour delay
Cons: Changing terminals atleast 4 times
Cons: Because of airline delay and increased immigration wait time, we missed our flight. No compensation but we were connected to another flight to Sac. 1-1/2 hours later, which worked out okay, except we got home very late at night.
Pros: It was o k.
Cons: No complain
Pros: Do you really think there is anything to like about flying these days. We are sardines pack on a your planes.
Cons: Purchased business class seats, boarded in group 5. Had no where to put my 1 backpack. All the storage up front was gone. Why should I pay extra for a seat if I have to wait for everyone to get off the plane so I can go back 10 seat rows to get my bag. Dirty tray tables.
Pros: I arrived safely.
Cons: The crew managed to serve a glass of water. No snack, not even a bag of pretzels. They managed to collect trash four times. Again, they barely acknowledged the passengers. What happened to customer service?
Pros: It was generally ok
Cons: The tourbulance was crazy The fact I received my bag in Sacramento and it was damaged upset me a lot
Cons: Left with plenty of time but: -Terrible traffic! More than 3 hrs -Had to wait 30 min for shuttle -At airport they said flight was via American, other terminal. My paper from Kayak says Air Alaska -Terminal for flight uses separate bldg so shuttles to terminal , more time needed.
Pros: Arrived early
Pros: nothing really
Cons: crowded seats , packed flight,
Pros: The flight out was really comfortable but the flight back was a little cramped. The crew was great.
Cons: The return flight
Pros: easy flight
Cons: the remodel at LAX is a mess but the shuttles are nice, just be prepared if you have to shuttle to another terminal. Also check food, I went from gate 50A and had to shuttle to 52A and that area only has one area to get something to eat and its just sandwich, and not a lot of choices.
Pros: The flight was on time.
Cons: The seats are hard and uncomfortable
Cons: Flight was very delayed
Cons: The long delay was terrible
Cons: Four hour layover on a flight from Edinburgh to Sacramento.
Cons: Flight into DFW was delayed over an hour and ended up missing connection from DFW to SMF by less than 10 minutes because connecting flight left the gate early! We had 5 people in our group, including 3 children under the age of 10. Instead of taking off on time or just a couple minutes late (and oh by the way, the flight to SMF was scheduled to land early because of favorable winds) the flight left the gate early while we were sprinting from gate C31 to A17, missing the door closing by minutes and stranding our party for a three hour wait for an aircraft that went to SFO instead (75 miles away from Sacramento). As the coup de gras, our luggage didn't make it on the plane to SFO so now it's sitting in Sacramento awaiting delivery. I know there were a lot of upset people with the weather delays yesterday, but a bit of foresight or accommodation by American or a particularly savvy gate agent could have prevented the 5 of us from being among them.
Cons: It also didn't happen due to rerouting
Pros: It seemed like it took longer to board this time. Otherwise, all was good. Flight was on time leaving and early landing.
Cons: It seemed like boarding took longer that usual this time. It seems like it would go more smoothly if it were set up that everyone boards in the order from where they are seated, starting in the back, working forward.
Pros: How friendly the staff at the gate always are.
Cons: How lazy and unfriendly the staff at the ticket counter in LA are. I really hate that they make you check in yourself PLUS print out your own bags tags while they just stand there looking at you. What a waste of time and my money paying to be on this flight!
Cons: There was an announcement made after takeoff that due to "turbulence" no hot beverages would be served. That is just unbelievable! I spent a good amount on a ticket and you mean to tell me that you won't serve coffee due to turbulence?? Turbulence is staple of every flight. What an excuse!!! American Airlines stinks! No tvs on any of the flights too.
Pros: Super service from a great crew!
Pros: THAT i WAS ABLE TO TRAVEL AND GET TO MY DESTINATION.
Cons: WITH A CODE-SHARE, THE TICKET SHOULD SPECIFY WHICH CARRIER I WILL ACTUALLY FLY WITH. THIS WAS NOT DONE AND I ALMOST MISSED MY FLIGHT BECAUSE ALASKA AND AMERICAN ARE IN 2 DIFFERENT - VERY DIFFERENT TERMINALS. THEN THE LOBBY AGENT COULD NOT LOCATE ALASKA FLIGHT ON THE AMERICAN TERMINAL - ANOTHER DELAY. POOR EXPERIENCE OVERALL.
Pros: Flight crew was awesome!
Cons: Connected from Cabo through Phoenix... seems that AA has really done a great job with passengers, but luggage is a whole other story, waited over an hour in Phoenix for luggage to come out, of course it didn't make the connection (had to clear customs in Phoenix)
Cons: The seats even in first class were so old the springs were stabbing me in the back. No entertainment system. American Airlines is ALWAYS late. I was delayed 5 hours. Food is horrid. Rating applies to all American flights I've been on.
Pros: No comment.
Cons: Due to flight delays and missed flight because of the delays, we had to rebook and reticket and took a different airline
Pros: Gate crew kept the door open as we dashed to our connection and welcomed us by name as they hustled us on board. Ground crew did an amazing job of transferring our luggage in the short 10 minutes or so that we had between planes. Thank you everyone!
Cons: Flight attendant rude. No smile, only saw them once
Cons: The layover was supposed to be an hour...ended up taking 3.5 hours!
Pros: I like the updated airplane were we all had our own Tv's to watch whatever we wanted
Cons: Had to switch planes twice late boarding food sucks it what to freaking hot in the plan seat where Uncomfy no freaking movie on our way back I'm not sure if I'll fly again with AA to many complains from people
Cons: They forced me to check my bag in to baggage claim instead of at the gate. The airport staff were extremely rude and disrespectful.
Cons: Everything was perfect
Cons: I could not change the flight with less payment so I missed the flight and booked another one.
Pros: Music/radio was nice at my seat; got into Sacramento early
Cons: No gate # on boarding pass, almost missed flight; kind of had to slouch to look out the window; rough/fast landing
Pros: Staff mixed Qatari and Canadian, did their best
Cons: With a sore arm, it was an impossible task to find a cozy position without shap metallic angles protruding.
Pros: Wasn't able to get my seats ahead of time, but was lucky to be put in an aisle seat.
Cons: It would be very helpful if the person at the counter would remind International travelers to make sure that they get their VAT receipts stamped at the border/passport agent.
Cons: Curt and rude
Cons: In 25 years of traveling I think this is the worst food I ever had in a airplane. Lucky that the butter and the bread were eatable
Pros: Space for my legs, good movies and food. Smooth ride. It was my first trip with the airline and i loved it
Cons: Had to wait 1 hour to get my bag back. They were having trouble to find it. Because i waited an hour they gave me a $10 voucher to eat at the airport
Pros: They did a good job and I enjoyed their touch screen entertainment on the flight. I enjoyed the wine on the flight over and back. I will fly Air Canada again
Cons: Nothing, they did a good job
Pros: The entertainment options were good and the fight crew was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The delays and lack of information in the boarding process are unacceptable - this occurred on my trip from Montreal to Paris as we as the return trip. Passengers feel like cattle being herded.
Pros: Entertainment system had good offers.
Cons: Queuing in CDG was inefficient as was much of the airport experience at all sites (outside of PHL).
Pros: These were all LH code shares with Air Canada. Checkin and boarding at CDG 2A is the best you can do there. Only a short walk from checkin thru immigration and security to the gate. Also Air Canada checked my bag to HNL. There were US immigration and customs, small scale and quick, in Vancouver but no requirement for baggage inspection unlike awful LAX. For future trips between HNL and Europe, I am flying Air Canada via Canada.
Cons: White wine was room temp.
Pros: clean, polite, helpful crew
Cons: obtaining boarding passess via smartphone
Pros: The flight was not fully booked so there was some extra space....ie empty seats
Cons: The flight was 1.5 hours late in departing. Fortunately we just made our connecting flight in time.
Pros: The bad stuff overshadowed the good stuff. Bad experience.
Cons: We took off late and never made up for the time lost which resulted in me missing my connection in Denver. Had to be rerouted to Toronto that night and spent night in hotel. Next day, we took off late and that resulted in me missing my connection in Denver... It took me two days instead of one to travel to my last destination. Not happy with Air Canada, three out four flights took off late. I also almost missed my flight in Montreal to go to Paris if it was not for the friendly and helpful Canadian Customs people.
Pros: The flight attendants were very professional and nice.
Cons: The flight took off late and did not make up the lost time during the flight.
Pros: The price was outstanding. The entertainment was excellent. Staff very friendly
Cons: Food was really bad. I mean we left France and that's the good capital of the world, but none of it made into the plane.
Pros: Food and movies were good
Cons: I received a boarding pass in AMD for all my flights, when at the gate in paris the agent said we have to give you a new boarding pass and seat. I had window prior, now it was the MIDDLE SEAT!!!! They said they couldnt do anything about it because Air India changed it and they couldnt do anything about it. Especially since the flight was also full. Not Air Canada's fault, but the expererince of middle seat is TERRIBLE.
Pros: Drop off at the counter was fast and easy on the upper level departure entrance. From my drop off at 9:00 am, I made it thru baggage check-in, passing thru passport control, passing thru security and into the gate duty free area in 25 mins! Impressive experience.
Cons: With an hour delay out of Paris due to waiting for missing aircraft flight documents to be completed and delivered to the airplane on the holding ramp, we ended up arriving in Toronto an hour late. With only an original connection time of 90 minutes, it was not possible for me to make it thru Canadian and US customs to the connection gate. I was to learn that no other connection to a Kansas City was available until much later in the afternoon / early evening. As a result, I ended up arriving in Kansas City 6 (six) hours later than originally scheduled, three quarters of the time it took to travel from Paris to Toronto. To say the least , I was not at all thrilled having lost that time.
Pros: Nice plane, food, staff, entertainment. It was great
Cons: We were delayed taking off. We boarded on time but then had to sit and wait in the plane for almost an hour before taking off. We had a connecting flight in Toronto and thankfully made it but some people missed their flights.
Cons: We missed our flight to Minnepolis we got a later flight home. We were tired and disappointed about getting home late. When we got to the gate our plane was still there but they said it was too late to get on but they delayed the plane 10 minutes to take our luggage off. We got a later flight. Not happy.
Pros: Both planes were nice. Attendants were pleasant. Food and entertaining were great.
Cons: Flight from Paris to Toronto was delayed 4 hours. That automatically caused us to miss our connecting flight from Toronto to Nashville. The 1st flight turned out to be more than 4 hours late. The 2nd flight was delayed as well. Not to mention we were directed many places throughout the Toronto airport trying to locate a boarding pass for the 2nd flight in hopes to make it to Nashville that day. All members of the Air Canada staff were helpful, however traveling for over 20 hours majority of which was spent in foreign airports made for a long and unpleasant day. It would have been different had it been our fault for being late or missing a flight, but we were very early for our international flights which simply added to the amount of time we had to sit, wait, and hope. A coupon was given to us, however being that I live in a different country I don't know how quick I will be able to redeem this.
Pros: The plain was new
Cons: I asked for a blanket and they told me that they are out of blankets
Pros: Please post meal intentions on-line so I can plan for the possible need to bring food on board. I had repeated instances when my elbow would hit the buttons on the arm rest, thereby changing video/lights/call for help, etc. Poor ergonometric placement.
Cons: Delayed over an hour, making it almost impossible to catch our connecting flight in Montreal. Thankfully, the flight out of Montreal was delayed and we were able to make the flight by the very last minute.
Pros: The Canadian airports are much nicer than the US airports. Things seem to flow better. They are cleaner and have more services than the US. They also have less people. Air Canada is a very good airline. They had schedule issues like any airline, but they handled them well and communicated them well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The meals were very good. Our trip was long, but that was due to our choices. I was very satisfied and highly recommend Air Canada.
Cons: All the planes are full. Seating is cramped unless you pay a lot for an upgrade. We found connection times tight in Montreal. We had to jog each time to make our connection.
Pros: We boarded on time and made connecting flight with no issues.
Cons: My son had no tv monitor (broken?0 the entire trip with no resolution to the issue. We asked flight crew several times to see what could be done and were told they would reset it. We have very little confidence that was done and no other resolution was pursued. The plane was not very clean and the smell of one of the bathrooms was terrible.
Pros: Very kind & attentive crew made my flight to Europe enjoyable. Baggage check-in & pick-up was quick. It was one of the most affordable flight options. For the price, I was very satistied with my experience.
Cons: Seats were smaller.
Pros: Flight from Paris to Montreal was very nicexcited with comfortable seats, entertainment, and pillows
Cons: Going through customs in canada and the US due to 2 flights in canada.
Pros: Food was much better than I've had on a plane in years
Cons: touch screen was very finicky
Cons: Missed connecting flight due to late take off from Paris and long wait at customs in Montreal.
Pros: Air Canada is a wonderful airline for the price!! Seats are comfy staff is excellent. Food is decent.
Cons: Food wasn't great but what do you expect it's on a airplane.
Pros: The food was decent and the snack was good too -- a small hot pizza.
Pros: The crew and wonderful, and it's why i chose Air Canada -- i have flown with them a few times over the years and have never had a bad experience during the flight. they are always pleasant! Kudos to them.
Cons: At Paris, I was given the boarding passes that went with my original itinerary even tho the flight had already been changed. they told me my bag was checked through to dulles --hindsight is 20/20. if only i hadn't checked the bag. I don't think coach seats should be 'reclinable' -- the space is much too small. it's rude to do so in such cramped quarters and there's always one rude person. she happened to sit in front of me and never put her seat up the entire flight.
Pros: The flight was delayed long enough that I missed the connection flight but they put me on the earlier flight so I did make the connection
Pros: It was a good flight overall.
Pros: Food was reasonably good, and seat had enough legroom, more than in some airlines I have flown recently.
Cons: very disorganized. website for checkin was indecipherable. I had to call Air Canada, which charged me for the call (15 centimes per minute) then put me on hold, only to finally learn that I could only check in in person because we were traveling with a pet. --- We paid extra for preferential seating, and when we got to the counter were told that we could not have those seats bcs we were traveling with a pet - the pet was acknowledged on our records and travel documents, yet the company allowed us to sign up for preferential seating, then would not let us access those seats, but our previously reserved window seats were gone and we were assigned aisle and center seats, which were then changed again to other aisle and center seats. --- Half the flights on the departure board, including ours, were delayed, alhto there were no weather problems. Both our plane and the plane in the gate next to where we were waiting had mechanical problems - a coincidence, or a repeated failing?
Pros: Entertainment system was awesome. Flight was comfortable. Crew very friendly.
Cons: Checkin staff at airport was not friendly. Airline cannot allocate seats together even though booking was done months in advance. seriously!!!
Pros: The flight was comfortable, the food was good and the in flight entertainment options offered a good variety of recent releases.
Cons: It was late. Again. Each of my Air Canada flights have been late and boarding was a mess.
Pros: The movie selection was relatively good.
Cons: They changed my seat 3 times before I got on the plane (from a window seat to an aisle seat and much farther back on the plane). I didn't complain and got on the plane, only to be told for a forth time (after I had already settled in my seat) that I had to change my seat again, to a middle seat. It was by far the least comfortable seat I have sat in with very little room both in front of and next to me. Nobody should be asked to move like that, especially after choosing my seat online at least three months prior to the flight when I purchased my ticket. Food also not great.
Pros: I liked the comfortable airplane. The bathroom we used by the front of the cabin was a great size bathroom. Food was OK but could have been better.
Cons: I upgraded the seats for me and my 9 year old daughter to economy premium for about $300 per seat. You would think they would give you two seats together considering you are flying with a minor. Nope! The seats were on different side of the isle and they had a seat between. One of the flight attendants was gonna accommodate us to be seated next to each other on the side with two seats only and my daughter was happy to be next to me. Another flight attendant comes after us and moves us to the middle where are 4 seats between the isles. I would recommend to ask what seats you are getting before boarding. I had picked two seats next to each other but in the meantime they sold the window seat to somebody else and moved me one seat away from my 9 year old daughter plus an isle between us. Will NEVER fly them again. I felt very uncomfortable and honestly like criminal while waiting for them to decide about my seating arrangements after paying additional $600 on the top of the regular fare. This was a flight from Paris to Montreal.
Pros: The food was good. The flight attendant were helpful and cordial.
Cons: We had to wit two hours on the tarmac because of a computer error.
Pros: The fact that there is a way to have on board entertainment but this was clitchy. Hot snack was welcome. Pillows and blankets. Direct flight from Casa.
Cons: Rude and filthy airline hostess. Having greasy hair and being rude is totally unprofessional. Requesting that a sleeping passenger bring their chair to upright position so that the passenger behind can have a snack? It doesn't make sense. This flight was not full at all and we were strongly urged to check our carry-on due to this. Well they didn't apparently see the fragile sticker as our latern and ceramics were damaged and the bag came out on the main conveyor. Also the door wouldn't open for baggage upon arrival so we were delayed an hour?
Cons: I understand that it is the duty of the traveller to figure out the legalities but a little heads up about visa requirements would be nice. I did know I needed a document to transit Canada but their website is absolutely not straight forward in telling you what you need to do. I read there was an exempt till September 2016 and since I was flying before it, I thought I would be fine. While I understand it was my fault for not doing my research, it's the way the airline company handled the situation that incredibly frustrated me. There is no empathy or willingness to help a traveler about to embark on their journey, when they are told they can't board. I didn't know you needed a visa just to transit!! It's just stone cold responses and haughtiness. It's a new rule, cut me some slack! They just pushed me off to a partner airline and I was asked to pay 1500$ for a one way flight. I m getting very frustrated with airlines of late! Customer service sucks. There is no genuine empathy for a person in a bind. It's all about making money and getting you out of the line. I'm just disappointed.
Pros: Made it home safely
Cons: Flight hour late to take off. Also food service lacking. We were in back rows and meat dish out of stock fir both lunch and snack.
Pros: Cabin crews and the actual flight was an alright experience, it was the personnel on the ground.
Cons: Lack of personnel in cdg for checking bags & rude personnel on the ground.
Pros: Food was decent, beverage service was frequent
Cons: Service alarm button is in armrest, dings constantly during flight when people sleep on it
Pros: The flight crew was pleasant and helpful, providing water throughout the flight.
Cons: AirCanada did not schedule a long enough connection in Montreal. Procedures were not explained well, either. I had to run to my gate to make my connection because it took over an hour for my checked luggage to be approved so that I could go through Customs. I was not the only person who experienced this problem. Several people on my flight missed their connection, and several still waiting when I left were in danger of missing their connection. I have flown on other airlines through other cities internationally and never experienced this type of issue.
Pros: Everything was professional. The pilots was awesome
Pros: Food was fine, staff was professional, flight was quite.
Cons: The lavatories were unacceptably filthy. There was a puddle on the floor in one of them: Disgusting!
Pros: Food good crew great.
Cons: Cramped seats and full plane.
Pros: The ease of boarding
Cons: The food
Pros: The in flight movie options were great, and the food and beverages were good.
Pros: The crew was really nice and attentive
Cons: The food could have been better and the seats were SO bad, especially for a 9 hour flight.
Pros: Getting home.
Cons: It was an older airplane. For a long flight from Montreal to San Francisco, a plane with more room would be more humane. People were lined up for the bathrooms most of the trip since could not use the small first class bathroom. If one wanted a meal, it was one you had to pay for. Broken monitor
Pros: Food was excellent, seating was comfortable and entertainment choices were good.
Cons: Boarding could have been more organized. It seemed to have been a little chaotic.
Cons: Boarding at CDG in Paris was chaotic. Called group 1 and 2 to line up but boarding didn’t start for approx 45 minutes.
Cons: It was great
Pros: Entertainment selection was nice. Amount of meals was also great.
Cons: Meal service could have been closer together. We went 8 hours between meals.
Cons: Space in seating very limited, and some seats in business class empty and also some seats with more room.
Pros: except for a young steward who smiled kindly
Cons: the other crew that served us had no smiles or eye contact. an incident even happened with a passenger that could have been avoided if the crew was friendlier
Pros: I had THE WORST experience with ONE flight attendant leaving Paris CDG, flying to Chicago O’Hare. Flight #9334. On 7/26 @ 11:22am. I am hypoglycemic and the flight attendant skipped my line for food I acknowledged her three times and she ignored me so on the fourth time I raised my voice saying “excuse me ma’am” that seem to have irritated her or rubbed her the wrong way because her response was extremely unprofessional yelling at me and accused me of startling her. She compared my voice to the startle of 911 and caused a scene in front of the majority of the passengers. All I wanted was the food that was available for each passenger because she skipped My row. After talking to another flight attendant who claim to be a manager name Celeste who was wearing a visible name tag along with every other flight attendant except for her, I asked her for the name so I could write up a review she refused to give me her name saying it was against their policy to give up first names even though it’s clearly on everybody’s shirt except hers she removed it or covered it up w/ her apron even though Robert Robert was wearing an apron with his name tag outside of his apron like he should the attendant that gave me problems took off her name tag and covered it with an apron that was a violation of dress code. A simple apology is all I asked for but she refused to apologize and the managers only response was “I can’t make her apologize” Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect on a flight as I am a frequent flyer to Paris on United everybody else and all other flights was extremely helpful and courteous. This woman started ranting and raving about 911 and getting people nervous for no reason. I will be writing a formal letter to the corporate office. I just barely got home and wanted to write this review because it ruined my experience in 9 1/2 hour flight experience. It was also very embarrassing for me and my family, as other customers were bothered by this and had to listen to this. I was trying to speak over the air conditioner and after the third time of her not acknowledging me that is one I raise my voice politely by saying “excuse me ma’am”. I am a frequent united flier. Furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 3 furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 2 1/2 hrs. By this time my back was throbbing and when I talked to the gentleman upfront he told me to write a letter for some type of compensation regarding everything I have been through. Here are pictures of the lady who is out of dress code the flight attendant and also out of line dealing with plus dealing with customers she’s obviously unhappy with her job and should not be in the customer service industry as I know for being a businesswoman myself owning my own salon I deal with customers all day and I know my number one job is to make sure my customers are happy I am not .

Cons: Again United ugh! They took us to the gate where we had a 4 hour layover. We watched an emergency happening at the gate (not their fault) which caused delays at that gate. When it was getting close to the time for our flight and they were still boarding an earlier flight, I checked with them to see if ours would be delayed. They had changed the gate without making an announcement. We had to get ourselves to the new gate with barely time to spare. They never turned the seatbelt light off for the trip so we could not use the restroom
Pros: United flight left without me! I was there in time...45 minutes early... but sitting in another one of their planes waiting to get off the connecting flight!
Cons: See above
Cons: My Wife and I got booted from Lufthansa to a United flight where our seats were across the plane from each other. In order to sit together, we had to spend another $300. United charged us an extra $100 for a check on bag that Swiss and Lufthansa did not charge us for.
Pros: Flight was on time and I loved going through US customs in Ireland, so that it made my connection to my USA flight a breeze.
Cons: Too many crying babies and children. (Flights need a section for young children and infants.) I can handle a 2 hour flight, but not 6+ hours of constant noise) I did not use it, but the entertainment system kept locking up and the flight attendants needed to reboot. If I had been depending on this entertainment it would not have been good. The flight attendants did not come through the cabin enough to pick up trash.
Pros: Flight was on time
Cons: Boarded on the tarmac when it was cold and windy and in no particular order so it was a long time standing in the cold
Pros: The entertainment interface and selection was fantastic!
Cons: Minor, but an arm rest would not stay up. Also, let's face it, the food food is never excellent, rarely good, but understandably hard to make so.
Pros: Crew was helpful.
Cons: We were sitting right next to the crew resting area and it was very restricting to us. I had two little kids that I had to keep quiet for about 6 hours out of 8. Even when my kids were quiet, we were reminded twice to keep quiet. It was very restricting and I was forced to walk back and forth with my two year old to keep her quiet so the crew can rest. Why is the crew resting when they are supposed to be working on that flight? The meal quality sucked, I did not finish it, let alone my kids. My kids were prettu much hungry for 8 hrs. Not a very family friendly flight.
Pros: We arrive a half hour early.
Pros: Friendly staff, - smiled and nice from beginning to end. The flight was fast and smooth. The seats were also decent and the width of the aisles had just enough room to wheel my bag and also not get hit when the carts came through. They are still too narrow, but better than some planes. I appreciated the good coffee, too (illy).
Cons: The food was inedible! This was the worst food I have ever had on a flight, seriously. The omeletes had the consistency of rubber, and my special meal (Asian vegetarian) was some fried thing that I couldn't eat at all and my companion - who will usually eat anything, would not touch it. I asked the attendant for an omelet instead (before I knew they were just as bad) and explained to her that the I can't eat fried food. She said she was surprised since Asian vegetarian is usually Indian - or at least discernibly Asian and so, would have been OK for a gluten-free vegetarian diet such as mine.
Pros: Greed and sensitive environment....Airlines should ask for height/weight to better assign seating. Airlines could charge two large adults extra space fee and thus split the cost of the middle seat so that way they have more room and share the cost of breathing room and a consumer is not wedged between them.
Cons: Greed and sensitive environment....Airlines should ask for height/weight to better assign seating. Airlines could charge two large adults extra space fee and thus split the cost of the middle seat so that way they have more room and share the cost of breathing room and a consumer is not wedged between them.
Pros: Ahead of schedule
Cons: Plane was hot. Light sweat almost whole flight
Pros: Flight was on time both leaving and arriving
Cons: The individual, Inited WiFi entertainment accessed via the Inited app did not work. I have been on several long distance Inited flights, and it never has. Error messages include “service is not available st this time” and “unable to connect to server - wait a few minutes and refresh browser.” Since in seat video is very limited, this can make for a long flight.
Pros: Not much. We did arrive alive, which is the best part of it.
Cons: First flight of the day took off late because of a mechanical issue. Couldn't they fix it during the night?
Cons: Flights from SMF to ORD to IND included on board flight entertainment at no cost. Flight from IND to ORD it was included. However from ORD back to SMF there was a fee. For the amount of money paid for the flight and for someone on a tight budget, this was extremely disappointing.
Pros: The huge windows and overhead bins on the 787 are fantastic. United has a decent seatback entertainment system, however it could stand to use maybe a few more movies. In economy the food was palatable, I went with the cheese manicotti for "lunch" and was awoken to a ham and cheese on a pretzel bun for "breakfast." The Illy coffee is much better than the old garbage.
Cons: The boarding area at CDG while nice was very hot. The huge windows made the place a hot house. I was relieved to get on the plane where it was much cooler.
Cons: Customer service was terrible. I was told I was not their customer and they wouldn't help me. When the agents sent me away for the 2nd time, after promising to hold the door, I returned and the agent closed it in my face.
Pros: Smaller plane enhanced comfort
Cons: Did not use entertainment app
Pros: Same as above. I miss the old days of magazines as some of us cannot pay for the Wi-Fi
Cons: You have very good crew people. There was a male flight Ttendant Chicago to Sac whoncalmlynand deftly handled a grouchy passenger People get testy on long uncomfortable flights. He handled this guy very well.
Cons: Food and service
Cons: Understandable they could not help about weather, but was terrible about keeping us updated.
Pros: Quick flight, beautiful day, interesting company sitting next to me very pleasant flight.
Cons: The flight was overbooked and they were offering vouchers for later flights, wasn't a bad thing, though, I'd have done it.
Pros: No bad weather, no bad experiences, all good.
Cons: Again, N/A
Pros: The United ground crew who assisted me on boarding the flight.
Cons: The delay in take-off. And most of all, the CDG as a point of connection - not a fault of the airline.
Cons: A mechanical issue delayed our return by over an hour. I guess they didn't know the extent or the time needed to repair, so we boarded at the regular time and sat in the plane. Good cabin crews both ways. Food meh. The 787 over was much better than the aging 767 coming back. I like the new app based entertainment system.
Pros: Staff was nice and plane wasn't full so had space for better sleeping since there was nothing better to do on the plane.
Cons: I was very disappointed. Why spend so much money on updating first class and business when the rest of the seats are completely out of date. I couldn't even charge my phone to get ahold of my ride when we landed. And the tiny screens barely worked, couldn't even watch a movie because it just froze up the whole time.
Cons: They cancelled the flight and we took a small bus instead. It took over 2 hours after the flight was cancelled for us to be on a bus to make the 90 min drive to Sacramento. Horrible, I wish I would have paid for a bus ticket instead of paying for a flight.
Cons: It was too warm on the plane, lost a bag and sat on the runway after leaving gate for about 30 mins
Pros: My ticket was with Lufthansa but the airline was in fact United Airlines. My original flight was from Paris to Newark. The United flight was cancelled with no explanation. So there was nothing to like.
Cons: The United flight was cancelled with no explanation. My orignal ticket was for a direct 8 hour flight. When my flight was rescheduled it was with a connection in Washington, D.C. with a 4 hour lay-over. I arrived home almost 5 hours later than scheduled. Awful experience!
Cons: my light does not focus on my area, but on neighbor's area.
Pros: The seats were comfortable and the movie selection was expansive .
Cons: There was no seat available when I arrived so I had to wait outside the gate for a long time while the crew found one. There was a shortage of blankets. The food was not as palatable as I expected.
Pros: Nothing much
Cons: Service needs to be radically improved.
Pros: The seats on the E175 were more comfortable than those on other RJs.
Pros: Seating was very nice in Delta select, lots of leg room!!!
Cons: There were 3 flight attendants on this flight and two of the three were great. One however was the rudest woman I've ever met. Her favorite word was "no" and she talked down to everyone, including her fellow flight attendants. I really wish I had gotten her name but when I asked her, her response was, "why?" I was so fed yo with her I just said forget it and avoided her. I understand people have bad days but I have a feeling this was more of a personality issue. She acted better than everyone else. It really only takes one person to ruin the whole flight
Cons: Our seats and boarding passes were given to two other people! How can someone else board a plane with our names on the boarding passes?!
Pros: I got a seat that had extended leg room so that was good.
Cons: The plane was relatively old and therefore the entertainment system was very poor. The screen quality was bad and could hardly see the movies. The touch screen did not work well and the screen kept falling down (I had one that came out of the arm of the seat). I noticed those around me had the same issues with their entertainment systems. The service on the plane was just adequate with the staff fairly efficient but not very outgoing or positive. I recently flew LOT and Lufthansa internationally in coach (economy plus) and they provided better meals, towels for washing, more and frequent drink runs and better snacks. Overall, just a mediocre flight -- not terrible, but not good.
Pros: the customer service rep was very professional and helped us out.
Cons: my girlfriend and I were removed from the plane. she had received troubling news from her family that kept stacking on, not to mention we were tired from traveling all day thanks to delays making us miss our flights. and when we gestured for an attendant to come by, light dark skin, facial hair, glasses. he had customer service come by and we reiterated the question if we decided we would like to get off the plane would it be possible to receive a voucher for the flight. but we told him that we were just trying to consider options and we were good to go, and the customer service told us that the attendant did not feel comfortable with us on the plane, and that my girlfriend reached out and touched him and he did not feel safe. we never even raised our hands our eye brows. they caused us all kinds of hell, we couldn't get another flight till 2210, they embarrassed and humiliated my girlfriend because she was crying. unacceptable.
Pros: Once I was on the flight it was fine except for the food which was decent
Cons: On my outbound flight from IAD to BRU my flight was delayed 3.5 hours because the "plane was late to arrive". Seems like this happens a lot on United flights. The staff at the gate of Dulles airport were extremely rude and difficult to deal with, which made it frustrating to try and figure out my connection situation. I missed my connection from Brussels to Paris and had to buy a train ticket for which I was not reimbursed by United. Then, on the way back from Paris, my flight was delayed 2.5 hours for the same reason. At least this time I had a direct flight. This entire experience makes me think twice about flying United again. I live in DC and it would be just as (in)convenient for me to go to BWI instead of Dulles for international flights, where there seems to be more options outside of flying United.
Pros: Everything else was fine
Cons: For such a long flight and quite expensive some food should be provided. I have never flown before like that (over hundreds of overseas flights) and had NO FOOD given at all.
Cons: 6 hour delay in SFO is apparently not unusual. Gate agent tells us that they will always bump that flight for other western regional airport since SMF doesn't have a curfew. United could care less and not transparent. And then they have the gull to tell us it was weather related. There was no bad weather anywhere in the western US that day! I tracked the plane backwards online and it never left Cali all day. United lies to shift blame away from their decision to screw all those on that flight. Advise: If you have this connection skip it, rent a car in SFO and drive to SMF. You will be to the good many hours.
