Pros: The service and patience
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: The service and patience
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Great service and comfortable ride excellent staff
Cons: Cannot expect better service
Pros: Being on time
Cons: Nothing you guys did great thank you so much.
Pros: The crew was so kind and amazing. They definitely made our flight great!
Cons: The entertainment wasn’t working for most of the flight. We only got about an hour and a half of entertainment
Pros: Great crew, good in-flight movies. Good food.
Cons: Wifi connectivity was poor for most of the flight. Plane was very hot it was difficult to sleep.
Pros: Entertainment and helpful staff
Cons: Had worst seat on plane on outward because I didn't know I could pick a seat free of charge before online checkin This could be a lack of communication on Kayak/Last Minute.com as opposed to Virgin
Pros: The seats reclined at a good pitch and were very comfortable. The crew were friendly and service was good.
Cons: I understand that on the night flight, they were trying to keep the lights up for dinner service, but it prevented my toddler from being able to sleep and thus made for a difficult rest of the journey.
Pros: Most of it was of a reasonable standard.
Cons: Plane was full
Pros: Crew were great! Neck cushions on chair aren’t adjustable and not comfortable.
Pros: The crew where awesome and catered to every need and requirement.
Cons: need to have a slightly deeper seat pitch in premium economy to allow people out without having to wake each other up. Especially on night flights.
Pros: The crew was maybe average, that was still the best point.
Cons: Extremely tight space. The food was almost inedible. Awful.
Pros: The crew were very attentive, they tried hard to help me with comfort, drinks etc. I didnt have food as it was so good in the Virgin Clubhouse!
Cons: The bed! When you flip it flat its rock hard, and the matress they provide is useless! Need foam matress to really make it more comfotable. If the seat reclined another few inches i wouldnt bother flipping it.
Pros: I like the professional approach of the airline and the staff. Seats are really comfortable and i did not need my sleeping pillow at all as the headrest of my seat was already so comfortable.
Cons: There is not much which i did not like about this airline. Just like other airlines, now have started feeling that Economy class travellers are being approached with bit biased approach in hospitality though they have major contribution in meeting flight running expenses. All airlines should start considering this fact and improve the overall approach.
Pros: The flight itself was good! The one from London to Delhi was better than from JFK to London
Cons: I wasn’t told about my baggage were being delivered through different airlines the other day!
Pros: My flight was canceled and Virgin Atlantic gave us a free room in the hotel Ramada. My next flight was at 18:55 and I asked Virgin Atlantic agent am I allowed to stay in the room until time for my flight comes, he confirmed yes and gave me breakfast, lunch, and dinner voucher. However, next day around 12 I got call from Front Desk that I have to leave my room right away because it's time to chack out and If I want to stay longer I have to pay. I called Virgin Atlantic agancy again and the agent run my information and said to me I can stayin the room longer. After that I called front desk to confirm that but they said they didn't hear anything from Virgin Atlantic and I have to leave the room by 1pm. All of this was really unpleasant!
Cons: I didn't like anything. I didn't like the communication between Virgin Atlantic with travelers, communication between Virgin Atlantic and hotel Ramada. Everything was really poorly.
Pros: The airplane was quiet My seat did not recline, but was seated in a different place where the seat reclined Bathrooms were clean and plenty
Cons: The remote controls for the entertainment system That you can’t reach the vents when you have to be buckled
Pros: A smoothtrip run by great staff.
Cons: Thé food was rather stodgy overall.
Pros: Top glass airline
Cons: I lake food and good service crew
Pros: Although we were badly delayed the cabin service was excellent in every way. Good meal , cheerful staff and well turned out.
Cons: I did not like the fact that my seat was between 2 small children that belonged to a family sitting behind me .It was ridiculous to put a stranger on a 10 hour flight with a 3yrar old on one side and a 5 year old on the other
Pros: Staff on this flight were excellent
Pros: Nothing. The whole experience was horrible.
Cons: I didn't make it to Siem Reap because the first leg of the trip from IAD to London was cancelled by Virgin Atlantic after it was fully boarded. The excuse was that a flight attendant had food poisoning and was unable to fly and so the entire flight was cancelled. The Virgin team seemed unconcerned and showed NO sense of urgency to try and get people rebooked. Their solution was to rebook everyone on an evening flight the next day. If a passenger was only going to London, that was probably fine. But for people with connecting flights -- or like me with multiple connecting flights -- that wasn't acceptable.
Pros: Overall comfortable journey
Cons: No option to book food option 24 hours before as could check in could not been done earlier than 24 hours before flight. I logged exactly 24 hrs before filled in details which took a few minutes by that time said too late to book special meal.
Cons: It was terribly late. No one had a clue on when flight would depart.
Cons: Once In London, we were told by British Airways that was flying us to Nice that Delta had “lost” our infant electronic ticket - It took 1.5h to get new ticket reissued! We missed our connection and had to wait 3 more hours for the next flight - We were somewhat lucky as multiple flights were delayed/cancelled that day - I will avoid using Virgin Atlantic in the future as they need Delta and British operate their flights and this makes it prone to issues like that
Pros: The entertainment selection was good, though I didn't need to see the blurb about having vloggers available before every movie. One of the very few airlines to use boarding by rows, which speeds up the boarding process.
Cons: The legroom is very cramped, pretty difficult to eat your meal with the seat in front reclined. The crew were not very attentive: they completely missed me while I was waving the rubbish on their collection rounds. In the end I had to dump it myself in the toilet bins. The PA system is too loud compared to the rest of the entertainment, had to remove the headphones for each one of them.
Pros: The crew was the best part of my experience, super nice and accomodating
Cons: the wifi had subpar performance
Pros: Check in was very smooth with very friendly staff. On board crew was very welcoming and service was excellent.
Cons: Aircraft configuration of the 787-9 was very poor with 9 seats abreast making the seats very cramped and very poor leg room.
Pros: Even it was a 12-13hrs flight, I had been my best flight ever in a long flight. Virgin really exeeced my expectations.
Cons: given milk yoghurt with VGML breakfast
Pros: From the check in to the service on board was very good. Staff were polite and respectful.
Cons: The food was small. There did not serve bread with the meal
Pros: I liked that the boarding went really fast and the staff at the JFK airport was super nice and helpful.
Cons: I didn't like how rude the airplane crew was and how useless and unhappy they were. The sits were very uncomfortable and the food didn't have any taste.
Cons: One toilet not working
Cons: Seat reclining happens even during meal time and landing! I had to ask crew to get passenger in front to put seat back upright during meal time!!! Crew should've noticed themselves and ask the passenger without my prompting!! So annoyed!! I complained to VA too
Pros: The food was surprisingly ok and the seats in PE were comfortable, plus there were two USB ports, perfect!
Cons: Being woken up to be asked if I wanted to eat, twice! If I wanted to eat, I wouldn't have a sleeping mask on my face, or be asleep! Plus, upper class and premium economy didn't board first.
Pros: Genuinely pleasant cabin crew, good service, good food.
Cons: Virgin Upper Class seats are cramped, with very limited stowage space. Turning the seat into a lay flat bed (and returning it seat at the end of the flight) takes some effort--not the simplest of processes. I'm not tall, but my feet protruded into the aisle so I was being disturbed whilst sleeping. Seat is also quite narrow--feels quite claustrophobic when sleeping.
Pros: Still a more pleasant experience than BA but others have overtaken. Crew make a difference though.
Cons: Limo service wasn't great in China - asked for address of hotel - a major international chain and confusion on booking details
Pros: New Dreamliner aircraft was very comfortable with loads of leg room for a tall person like myself at 1.76m
Cons: My seat was directly under the aircon and it was blowing very cold all night which made it quite uncomfortable. Fortunately I had an extra blanket which I could wrap over my head.
Pros: The boarding and the overall flight experience was quite good.
Cons: There were movie options such as Sully and Deepwater Horizon, which I think are unsuitable for flights. Overall, the movie options could have had more variety.
Pros: Smiling and helpful staff Great FREE food and drinks good movies Free goodie bag of travel goods, blanket, pillow etc Free candy for landing descent
Cons: Leg room is a little tight
Pros: The crew, food and entertainment the food has improved, the ground and flight staffs was very pleasant and helpful
Cons: We were flying to Miami, then into a cruise, weighs restrictions,we were find a100 dollars for a couple more kg, we were on holiday for nearly three weeks
Pros: The crew left my breakfast in the sear next to me because I was asleep (unfortunately i didn't notice till I started to disembark...)
Cons: I couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep very well, even though I was in a window seat (which I can normally lean on).
Pros: Very good on board services and nice crew
Cons: At boarding in Atlanta, they only checked in 1 of my 3 luggages to my final destination, the 2 others are lost...
Pros: Friendly crew and good food
Pros: Everything except the plane itself
Cons: Plane cramped
Pros: We were late arriving at the airport and the checkin desk people were SO nice putting us through. Otherwise we never would have made it on the flight. Also the extra legroom seats were well worth it!
Pros: Staff excellent - Inflight screen useful.
Cons: Could not do online Check in - apparently as there were 4 separate legs on my Ticket.
Pros: The food has improved.
Cons: Flight turned back after an hour. Held in HK for 24 hours. Dreamliner no big sea change in air transport. Economy still uncomfortable and cramped. Crew give the impression of being bossy and aloof, I saw them making faces behind someone's back. Emirates crew are so much more helpful and pleasant.
Pros: At JFK the lounge and service was the best I have encountered.
Pros: The flight wasn't crowded so I had a whole row of seats to myself.
Cons: A less starchy/high carbohydrate meal. More green veg.
Cons: Wasted 24+ hours and a bunch of money. The employees at Dallas did not stop me from boarding an international flight. When landing in London, they immediately turned me around stating, "You can't go on holiday". Cool, thanks. So 12 hours later, im sitting back in Dallas with a whole lot less planned. Thanks DFW! You the best.
Pros: Food was tasty and plenty. Crew was attentive and professional. Even with a 20 minute delay for take off, we arrived on time.
Cons: The leg room and seat width seem to be less than other planes. The monitor was very touchy and hard to make it respond
Pros: The crew was great, comfortable
Cons: I was on a long business trip heading back from India. The flight was delayed leaving India which would have made me miss my connection in London to Phx. Fortunately the flight from London to Phx was delayed (because it was delayed arriving into London) and I was able to make my connection. Especially when we had to take a bus from the plane to the terminal, there is no way I would have made my connection. While I know there are reasons for the delays, it is frustrating. After a long week of traveling and 21 hours of flying- ones patience does run out.
Pros: Getting off. Entertainment system.
Cons: The food. Working toilets. 10 abreast seating is too tight on 777. Avoid.
Cons: Seats and screens, usb charging points
Pros: Booked via JustFly.com and I guess I did not read the fine-print. What seemed like a great deal – $475 USD for an off-peak round trip, LAX-LON-LAX, booked two months in advance – was not much cheaper, once I paid seat assignments and, new one on me, +$100 to check one non-cabin-sized bag each way.
Cons: Please, don't bait and switch British Airways for American Airlines. I chose to fly BA for a reason, but outbound was AA. I know it's a tough job, tending to 300+ passengers on any trans-Atlantic flight, but AA comfort and courtesy were lacking. It was a different story flying home on my BA 747.
Pros: Good seat
Cons: Headset didn't work and no replacement
Pros: The crew skipped me for breakfast and i had to ask for food.
Cons: The food was not very good. Bread rolls stale and inedible. The rest of the flight was good.
Cons: Never got on the flight!! This was a Christmas gift & they took the money when booked it and told me they needed credit card verification 2hrs before departure! Terms and conditions doesn’t say I needed the credit card when checking-in! They also NEVER notified us that I was needing that information! The person who booked my flight is overseas!!! They are the worst at customer service. Still waiting to hear back from them! It’s the holidays and they are absolutely careless! I must add that when checking-in the agent was rude, unprofessional and even mocked me! ridiculous!
Cons: Pd for seat upgrade so I could have leg room as I injured piriformis. Gate agent wanted to seat 2 people together so took away my chosen seat. I explained but she lied and said person was in wheelchair. Got on board and took photos of young woman seated - not in wheelchair and was up walking. Agent lied and was nasty. Ruined entire trip as I was not able to move much or stretch my injured leg. Am still in pain as I type this review. Complained to AA. Agent was so nasty! Should not be allowed to work with passengers. Fire her!
Pros: Boarding from Dallas was very good but when landed in London there was no service provided to me as I requested. I asked for wheelchair and help claiming my luggage due to health problem but when I asked at the airplan gate if some body will help me the answer was wait over there with a rude way and ended by walking to the passport area and claiming my bags by my self, my bags was not there and I was going back and forth to follow directions been given to find my luggage. I was very exhausted and tired and asked people around me for help.
Cons: There was no help at all especially from the British airway. Unlikely there was very rude answer by telling me if you need help you can hire somebody to help you at claiming bags area. This answer was not expected at all and I was very disoppointed as I made a request to have a wheelchair from London. This request was ignored in London. I was very tired and placed my self to a risk of injury because I hade recent surgery to my right shoulder. As a British air way and this was my first experience I will think carefully next time to use this service again. One of my luggage was damaged and this bag was new and this was my first time to use it they told me at customer service this just a scratch and there is no liability for this kind of damage. hopefully some body can investigate this and do something
Cons: Very strict on baggage.. Even they don’t compromise for an additional kg in check in bag.you need to pay for most of the things.. even for a drink
Pros: Veggie Asian meal was great - curry.
Cons: Freezing cold air conditioning. Seven hours siting in a fridge. Asked stewardess to turn it up. She didn't.
Pros: The lady at the counter before we boarded switched our seats for us so our tickets could be together.
Cons: The seats we had were exit seats right next to the bathroom and it was a night time flight. So 8 hours overnight of constant commotion and people walking by. The flight attendants were blatantly rude and would sit right in front of us and openly talk badly about the passengers. One of the flight attendants walked by and literally just grabbed my drink out of my hand and took it. There was only one flight attendant who was actually pleasant and polite to everyone and her name was Kate. The other flight attendants were just rude and abrasive to everyone and basically would mock people who did not speak English as their primary language. We were both treated okay but I was truly appalled with the way they spoke to some of the other passengers.
Pros: I needed special assistance due to limit of mobility and I have been refused assistance twice
Cons: On the top of that my luggage was damaged
Pros: It got cancelled and the flight company took 500 usd dollars back from me
Pros: The help on getting on the plane and the pleasant staff on the flight
Cons: The food
Pros: Smooth flight, got in early.
Cons: Breakfast was average. Could do better
Pros: Moved seats together, great plane and serviceN
Cons: Delay getting landing slot
Pros: Easy checking with great Customer Care. Made my trip enjoyable. Will use again in July...
Pros: We didn’t crash
Cons: Pushed out of my seat by huge man next to me who ate smelly crisps and farted most of the trip
Pros: The flight itself was fine
Cons: I bought the tickets together, but was informed at the ticket counter that i had only purchased tickets—not boarding passes. Boarding passes needed to be purchased by paying extra if my husband and I wanted to sit next to each other. I tried calling the customer service line through kayak and waited on hold for a long time with no indication of wait time. When the gate agent arrived, we asked and were moved to seats next to each other right away. The ticket agent at initial check in was very abrasive and non-solution oriented. if what she was saying was true— that we only paid for tickets and had to pay extra for boarding passes together— that was never made clear during the booking process. It’s unlikely I’ll use kayak again unless I know for sure what I’m buying.
Cons: I chose a package on the cheap flights that has a left hand side for choosing number of baggage which invariably inreases fare depending on the number of baggage and i choose 2 and paid for 2 baggage but the ticket came with 1 baggage and i contacted both by phone call, email and your website but did not get any fsvourable response. Had to pay again at the airport for the extra bag. This is highly unfair.
Pros: Price, new plane, interactive system
Pros: The crew we're very pleasant & friendly. The flight was on time even though we sat in the runway for a bit.
Cons: Having to pay 3 Euros for a cup of coffee. And the seats were very uncomfortable.
Pros: I liked the touch screen entertainment.
Cons: I am understanding during a flight delay- that's not in the crew's control. But when an employee swears up and down that there is NO chance our bags won't arrive with us and then is WRONG, that is bullshit. Also, I'm a 5'6 woman, and even I had knee pain from the tiny leg room. Imagine how my 6'2 partner felt.
Pros: The entertainment was good. Lots of choices. Food was about what I would expect for airline food.
Cons: The seats were terrible. I don't know what it was about them, but I've never had a more uncomfortable flight. My husband had leg cramps for much of the flight and couldn't get comfortable. The rest of the flight was fine, but the uncomfortable seats were a huge minus. We'll probably try to avoid 787s from now on. The window-darkening system was annoying. They darkened the windows when it was dark outside and they darkened the cabin, so we couldn't look out the window. It was dark outside--why the need to darken the windows?? My husband requests window seats so he can look out the window.
Pros: The crew, the movies, and window seat
Cons: Didn't like how tight the flight was. Way too compact and 3 seats near window seats makes it so uncomfortable.
Pros: British Airway, as their partner, made everything perfect.
Cons: Iberia never picks up the phone. American Airlines always says 'No' first, & sticks with their 'No' for about an hour before being willing to think of work 'round solutions. AA online check-in didn't work, There's always a 45+ minute wait by phone to get AA to answer.. Then the customer service line of Airlines @ LAX had 70+ people needing help, but only one person working. So it was an hour long wait, only to be told 'No' you can't fly. Yet once I walked over to British Airways, they found a way to get me to my destination. Airlines just does not have enough employees and doesn't care.
Cons: I've flown a lot, and I really couldn't believe how rude the flight attendants were on this flight. They seemed very inconvenienced by their job. I gave a snack pack back to a FA bc of my allergies and she snatched it out of my hand while walking by me without even looking at me...my husband's jaw dropped, he saw it too. It was unbelievable how rude they were.
Pros: I gate checked in the stroller at LAX. When it was pretty much dumped in front of me at LHR with an unspecified apology, the sun hood was bent so it doesn't fold right anymore, there's scuff marks on the side, there's a part missing from the left wheel and it drags to one side now. Not happy. If I'd been told, we'll take this off you and damage it, I might have checked it normally. Our car seat was fine.
Cons: Damaging our stroller. Food wasn't good either. A yogurt with various toppings apparently is a "Continental breakfast".
Pros: Was on time
Pros: The seat was comfortable.
Cons: It was very cold, even with my vent closed and wearing a sweater. The food did not taste very good. One of the flight attendants (middle aged Caucasian male) was rude with an overall dismissive demeanor. For example, I requested water and he handed me a cup of warm water while giving everyone else around me a cup of ice with their beverage without being asked.
Pros: Entertainment system in Economy is really good, big screens and also plug point and usb points for charging.
Cons: Aisle is cramped so that you get nudged when trolley is being carted up and down. Food was pretty rubbish most of mine went to the bin (this is a terrible waste, rather not get served this and bring my own on board).
Cons: We boarded on time but were kept waiting 2 hours on the runway The entertainment system was broken so no screens worked the whole flight! Terrible,
Cons: The woman in front of me pushed her seat all the way back. The people behind me were from Africa, and they talked really loudly. They didn't need to yell. Finally, why does American Airlines load the plane with the people who sit at the front first? It makes NO SENSE. Put the people who sit in the back on first. That way, you don't have to try to get past people in the front who are still trying to load their stuff or get seated. There has got to be a more efficient way of getting off the plane. We stood and stood waiting for passengers to get their stuff and disembark.
Pros: Short flight times, lovely staff , food and wine ok, not so crowded so more space
Pros: Eventually we made it
Cons: Plane was delayed because a door wasn't working (old). Business class entertainment was a tablet that was collected an hour before we landed. Food was very bland.
Pros: The flight was comfortable and kept to schedule.
Cons: AA staff at JFK airport were rude and unhelpful. Staff onboard the flight were excellent.
Pros: The "very" new 777-200 was very comfortable, well-laid out. I usually skip or leave half of the in-flight food served, but this rates as one of the best meals, I've had in an airplane outside of business class. The in-flight entertainment/information service was decent, but perhaps because the plane was still in new condition.
Cons: On this entire business trip, I booked with other companies, but ended up 5 flights operated by American Airlines. One cancellation, 4 delayed, 3 late arrivals. The last one was the most annoying. I will be avoiding AA in the future. The domestic crews are generally brusque and miserable. The international flight crews were more accommodating and pleasant, but most of them also seemed annoyed at passenger presence. Also, having to pay for a preferred seat on a half-empty airplane is simply unfair. By 24hrs before the flight, AA must have known there were plenty of empty seats.
Pros: Boarding the plane from the back first saved longer queues. Unfortunately people cheat and the boarding officers don't send them back to the right queue. Toilets were clean. Staff excellent. I was glad all my flights were stuffed to the gunnels. Presumably that is best for the environment rather than lots of planes with fewer passengers in each.
Cons: Passport control with new computer ID checks was fast. Baggage was slow coming. I booked through Netflights and they didn't book me a good seat. If I could have changed it myself they should have told me. On the way to Tampa on 3rd March I couldn't check in within 24 hours and had to wait half an hour while they changed our plane. BA used to do short science programmes which I loved. Shame these have finished.
Pros: The upgrade to main cabin extra was worth the cost. Extra leg room, entertainment options, and room to breathe when the passenger in cent leans all the way back made a long flight more than bearable. The crew handled themselves and us very well.
Pros: Fantastic customer service - from lounge to arrival gate. Unlike BA this airline does recognize its frequent flyers and upgrades us often to business. I fly a lot - Executive Platinum - and this makes a huge difference.
Cons: My connecting flight LHR to AMS was on BA and they really droped the ball compared to AA.
Pros: I was in a seat in coach that was appalling. (28C?), one row behind the exit row seating. I am only 5' 8" but could not cross my legs. The guy to my left was KNITTING, so was constantly jogging my arm which I carefully had kept inside the armrest on my side. I will avoid flying in a BA 747 in future. Even Business is awful on those jets. I flew in Business once, and thought the head to tail layout was the worst I have experienced. I pulled down the joint divider and thought the person in the next bed was dead, he was lying there with his arms crossed over his chest! It's time to update the 747's or retire them.
Cons: The pathetic little 4.5" times 3.5" screen in the seatback was a joke in today's environment.
Pros: Good flight, but pretty jammed in.
Cons: Coach seats were definitely not comfortable
Pros: Very nice crew
Cons: We did not have dinner as we tried to get some sleep on this 6.5 hour overnight flight to London. The 767 was in a 2-3-2 configuration for economy plus and general economy. Thankfully they kept the temps cool to the point where we used our coats as additional blankets. I appreciated that the FA’s did not wake us for dinner and they closed my window shade at some point. They were 100% polite and helpful. That said, with the new Polaris Business Sears, UAL has eliminated the restrooms between Business and Economy. So it is a very long walk to the restrooms from Econ Plus and it appears that there are only 4 restrooms for about 120 passengers. Absurd. My family made do because we used the restrooms in the middle of the night when most people were sleeping but this would have been a nightmare after breakfast or with a small child. It appears that UAL has gone for profit over customer satisfaction.
Cons: The queues at immigration in San Francisco were disgracefully long. it took us 3 hrs to get to our luggage. Advice to US govt to employ more immigration officers. Airlines should report on this
Pros: Boarding Announcements Clean
Cons: Very cold Bathroom in back of plane
Pros: Getting a meal and drink
Cons: You need to spell out that when you purchase a BASIC ECONOMY fair, you will be charged for luggage and cannot change your seat. This isn't all spelled out in big bold letters when you buy on Kayak and the carrier treats you bottom of the class.
Pros: Request for supply of earplugs was kindly met. Cabin crew were attentive and friendly. Food was some of the best I have ever eaten in Economy.
Cons: Check-in staff at EWR were abrupt to the point of rudeness. Did not feel valued as a customer.
Pros: The flight attendant in our section was amazing. She gave us tips for London and gave us some complimentary alcoholic drinks. She made the flight so much more enjoyable.
Cons: The seat comfort was just ok. Neither my husband or I was able to get much sleep. The seats in coach are very tight and we couldn't really get comfortable.
Cons: Movie selection wasn't very good, and the touch screens aren't sensitive enough, so I could feel the person behind me poking the screen really hard to make selections.
Pros: Great price — easy flight. Had an entire row to myself, so I could stretch out.
Cons: Food could of had a better selection but wasn’t the worst I’ve had
Pros: Flight was nice and empty
Pros: IT WAS UNEVENTFUL WHICH IS WHAT YOU WANT. CREW WAS VERY NICE AND NO CRYING YOUNGSTERS.
Pros: 1. Super friendly crew 2. Plenty of space in Economy Plus seats
Cons: 1. Very average food 2. Continuous problems with the entertainment system during the whole flight
Pros: The plane was new
Cons: Flight was switched to United airlines so the confirmation number did not work and we could not check in on line. Food was the worst I have had on a flight.
Pros: The controlled and orderly way when boarding.
Cons: The staff from the desk was unfriendly. On boarding no one showed you where your seat is located. The food was dreadful. The same aweful pasta meal on the outbound journey was served again. During the flight I was feeling very unwell I asked the flight attendant our axeick bag which she brought, but I was told to go to the toilet. She did not return to enquire after my well being. I was in the toilet for 5 minutes. Very uncaring. The tea was cold when served
Pros: The crew were competent, friendly and helpful. The back of seat entertainment was very good, with a lot of new releases. When the flight was delayed the pilot did come around and speak to passengers, which I appreciated.
Cons: The flight was delayed and we were not given any information about what was going on.
Cons: I was billed for 58$ for check-in baggage despite I upgraded my seat to economy plus paying 187$.
Cons: Not much choice of good movies
Pros: TV and movie choices should be according to 2018 instead of1980. Also TV should be from running Era
Cons: board . The door was closed & we waited for 2 economy passengers - took an hour . mY experience - once the door is closed , it does not open until the plane reaches the destination .
Cons: Lufthansa as an agent is a mistake! I had to deal with them prior to flying to the US. I have never ever had to deal with such bad service in my entire life. United was great though and I highly recommend them.
Pros: Despite sitting in the middle seat and being well over 6 feet, there was room.
Pros: Decent flight, can’t complain, pretty much empty.
Cons: laberithine process to get my boarding pass. Booked on Kayak with last minute on a Luthanasa flight operated by United. Basically had to call all three in order to get my boarding passes as the website didn’t work. Really confusing.
Pros: Captain and crew were brilliant, kept passengers informed throughout as to the delays, as a result all passengers were patient and understanding. Not much more could have been done to improve the experience as the snow and conditions at Dublin airport were out of their hands.
Pros: Entertainment and leg room brilliant!
Cons: Good was disgusting
Pros: Very nice people working and good service.
Pros: The flight attendant was nice and helpful.
Cons: There was not much legroom. Especially when the person in front of you reclines. The menu stated they had craft beers. They did not. The Entertainment system is very old. My iPhone 7 has a larger and better quality screen. Not to mention it is based on channels like a TV so when you turn the channel it changes the already playing channels. At least Delta has large touch screens so you can choose what you want to watch and watch it from the beginning. The flight was late and one of our bags did not make it on the flight. We were happy it was on the next flight.
Cons: Delayed for so long! 5 hrs
Pros: Getting back to the UK
Cons: When booking with Lufthansa I don't then expect to be on a united airlines flight Terrible customer service and substandard old uncomfortable aircraft
Pros: Clean aircraft good entertainment, cockpit crew polite
Cons: The check in staff were unbelievably rude nearly looked and were abrupt and dismissive to a simple question. The cabin crew looked scruffy, and clearly had a lack of pride in their job and presentation. This is the first time I have ever flown United and I must say I would avoid flying with them again if possible, which is a shame and the aircraft and the entertainment on board were good
Pros: Pleased with all
Pros: The check in was good. The craft was clean.
Pros: My television screen in front did not work. There were no images and the sound was very bad. So I could not listen to music either.
Cons: The airline was generous with luggage allowances.
Pros: Improve the food and be ahead of the best
Pros: Again could not fault staff and quality of flight services, luckily space to sleep so fantastic flight.
Pros: Brisk, efficient cabin crew served food and drink quickly then left us alone to sleep.
Cons: Flight delayed by 75 minutes "awaiting plane". 20 minute wait when finally arrived at Heathrow for steps down to bus to take us to terminal.
Pros: The flight was on time.
Cons: The staff had no meal for me despite me having ordered one. The entertainment system wasn't working and neither was the wifi to allow you to watch on your own device. Old planes with uncomfortable seats. Really poor airline.
Pros: Great crew.
Cons: Food quality could be improved upon (less sugar and carbs, more fresh vegetables/fruits)
Pros: Crew were amazing, so friendly and helpful Entertainment system was so so good Landed early
Cons: Overnight wasn't the easiest flight in the seats Serving people coffee when others are probably trying to sleep probably wasn't the wisest idea either Pre flight queue system is just baffling
Cons: Was surprised to receive dinner and wished they had not served so we could have more quiet time.
Pros: It got us from a to b but not much more to be said!
Cons: The idea of the entertainment system broadcast to your hand held device is fine - it didn't work for me though.
Cons: Incorrect flight info . there was no lufthansa airplane it was a united flight 4 terminals away so i wasted my time n money n missed the flight. Nowhere did the reservation state the correct flight number and l the link went to ufthansa site yet couldnt check into a non existant flight. Kayak sucks. Not the airline
Pros: Efficient boarding. Friendly and helpful crew. Prompt baggage reclaim at Heathrow.
Cons: Bland food, with no beef option in Business. And what happened to the ice cream sundaes? They've been thrown over for salted caramel gelato. Not nearly as good. The old three-class 767s are TERRIBLE for comfort in Business Class.
Pros: Missing my connection due a security in Newark the plan was 2 h delay
Cons: I upgrade to premium economy. This gave me a seat with legroom -but one that did NOT RECLINE ... on a night flight. I am very unhappy. It was not made clear when I upgraded (must have been very small print). I feel ripped off
Pros: United wifi app allows you to watch some film and tv on demand, if you've downloaded the app in advance. Staff nice.
Cons: Seatback screen the size of an original iPhone, possibly smaller - and no on-demand content to be viewed on it, the movies play when they play. Most TV series available on the app have only one episode. Overhead baggage bins are TINY. Most normal carry-ons won't fit at all in central bins, and some not in side ones either. Expect a fight over them if flight is busy. Large IFE box under every window seat in economy.
