Cons: "I wouldn't know how our flight to Sioux Falls was. Delta left without us, after they made us late. We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

The plane was dirty inside and the seats werent comfortable at all, the plane was making weird noises. There is no window in the 11A Window Seat. Really really bad service at all."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 4 times, didn't land in ATL until almost 4 a.m. Still was charged for bags and when I called in to reschedule so I could get another nights sleep they said next flight wasn't until 10 the next day and there was charge for that. Also my flight from ATL to Boston earlier that week was delayed 3x. Overall not impressed with this connection. Meanwhile another flight to Boston from ATL left and I was not notified or selected for this change."

While it always goes relatively quickly I feel it should be more organized and folks made to follow a system. Cramming right up against the ticket counter doesn't do anyone any good."

We both had middle seats, which means that the people on either side if us were single travelers. Why couldn't one of them be reassigned so that we could have sat together?"

Somehow the food served was truly disgusting, like an horrible TV dinner. United always stands out on international flight for having the worst dinner served. Always take your own lunch with you! Finally it has been my consistent experience on United that the stewardesses are really unfriendly. They do their job just fine but do they look so miserable compared to other companies. Do the airline treat them real bad?"

Border control mumbling and barking orders at people like they're cattle. Not the best way to welcome tourists, but at least United Airlines crew made up for it with their smiles."

Cons: "Since united took over food court it is impossible to get breakfast. 30 minute wait at the kiosks, missing items at express, no coffee at Stromboli stand, another line to get coffee. 8:30 flight pulls out on time but doesn't leave for another 45 minutes, still posts as leaving on time."

Pros: "Not bad overall. I was exhausted at one point and passed out in my chair. I would have missed my flight if the gentleman boarding people hadn't noticed and woke me up to ask if I should be on the flight. I was out so deeply that I hadn't heard any announcements. There wasn't any food on the three flights but a cookie waffle thing and that was all I had during the 13ish hours I was on planes. The staff was super awesome and nice. Space wasn't any different than other planes, but tight on the first flight. I got lucky on the last two."

She was yelling at me to put my bag in the bag to see if it will fit. She was completely rude and acted like she hated her job! I will NEVER fly with UNITED again! I will be contacting United regarding this issue as well! The other lady at the gate called her led and after that she contacted her supervisor and they also didn't let me on the flight! This was the worst experience I have EVER had! I will NEVER FLY WITH UNITED AGAIN."

Cons: "Process for customs was not well explained (where/how to meet up with bags for customs process). We went through customs on the second leg of the flight with barely enough time to get through customs and then back through security at the Calgary airport. Our flight had been unilaterally changed by the airline due to too tight a connection but the new flight (much less convenient, had to get up at 3:00 am) was as bad or worse. We would have missed our connecting flight if it had not been delayed due to weather at our destination."

Cons: "We were asked to pay attention to the safety demonstration, yet I could not see it because the flight attendant was standing so far ahead up the aisle that even if I leaned out, I could not see her. I also don't understand why United boards from front to rear. It's illogical and time consuming."

Cons: "1) Seats barely recline beyond 90 degrees. 2) person behind me had knees jamming against my seat the entire flight. 3) Food was unimpressive. was on British Airways a week before and it was great. 4) Paying for cocktails on a long haul flight is absurd. 5) Instructed to "download a ridiculous app" for entertainment. 6) I couldn't get WiFi in the airport to function!!! so was at a loss. I was traveling overseas for God's sake. IN a foreign country. 7) Outlet to plug my power sources for mobile devices into was not functioning."
