She even gave some of us a tour of the galleys and taught us a few things about Mosaic customers as well as a few other operational things. I didn’t catch the other flights attendants names as they covered more of the back of the plane but they were both insanely hospitable and it was very clear that they loved their jobs as they were having fun. The women who checked us in also accommodated is with Even More Space seats after knowing we were crew members!"

Called Jet Blue the day before, and found change fee was more than cost of flight. Dealer said they'd cover, but I have no guarantee. Truck still not in. Can't book flight until in. Dealer not very communicative. The whole world is a mess. What can I expect?"

Cons: "Checking in was difficult for me. My husband was able to check in through the cruise line. when we got to the airport the counter was not open. i checked in but did not get a seat assignment. When we got to the gate our flight to Boston was delayed until 3am from midnight. I tried getting a seat assignment but was told I had to wait until all the other flights were taken care of. I finally got my seat with my husband after 10p. I am a very nervous flyer so this was very nerve racking for me. But once I got my seat I calmed down. We always fly Jet Blue when we can. The flight itself was wonderful. And the counter folks were very patient with the customers dealing with delays."

Cons: "An electrical problem caused the plane to shut down. Rather than finding us new flights, we waited for many hours for the plane to be repaired. I was planning on making it to work by 9 this morning but the only folks who received alternate flights were the ones with connections :( in addition to this, the power shutting down on the plane was extremely unsettling. I have flown hundreds of times and have zero fear of flying. Today, I was terrified that the power would shut off mid-flight at any moment. I truly wish we'd been given another plane...i know that's tough. But something along those lines would have been better than stepping back on the one that shut down with all of us in it...after waiting for hours for it to be repaired. I do appreciate the $150 coupon though."
Pros: "I LOVED the comfort of the ample seating space and leg room, compared to American and free WiFi and movies with the individual monitors on the seat backs for every passenger. I flew Jet Blue on my return flight from LA to Boston to attend our son’s USC graduation. The flight from Boston to LA was on an American Airlines flight. The seats were super narrow with very cramped leg room. To add insult to discomfort , I learned just after take off on the American flight to LA that our dogs got loose at home and the person caring for them was frantic. I had to purchase in flight WIFI ($16/ hour $18 for the entire flight) to attend to the Lost dog issue (hugely stressful) only to learn after the flight that $300 worth of fraudulent charges occurred during the flight that my bank’s fraud department claims occurred as a result of entering my card information to purchase the internet access. That depleted the majority of our travel budget. (We live paycheck to paycheck and had pinched & saved to be able attend this special event) I was so apprehensive on the returning flight and can’t describe my relief to learn the WIFI was free. My fears dissolved as did my aching head and back as I settled into a wonderfully comfortable seat with far more leg room than my prior flight. Thanks Key Blue! You have a fan for life!!"

I thought there was more than one baby and was surprised to see all that was generated by one. Our attendant was a little snarky and dismissive. One entertainment screen was on the fritz, and the sound was messed up on the other, so we hacked them together to make one functioning system for one of us. The fly-fi was out of range for all but the last 30 minutes. The seats seem to be getting narrower, and I've lost weight!"
Pros: "I did appreciate how apologetic the flight crew was and eventually we were able to board our flight. I also appreciated the credit that Jetblue gave me for the inconvienence. That showed sensitivity on their part that was refreshing. I know it is the holidays so its busy, and unexpected situations do arise during these times especially, so at least the credit provided some positive relief to the disappointment."
Cons: "I understand that maintaince is a necessary and usual part of flying planes every day, that said, I had booked the earlier flight for the purpose and intention of getting into Boston earlier to spend more time with my family but arriving 5 hours later than expected was disappointing. Needless to say, the traffic getting out of Boston at 4pm on a Tuesday only added insult to injury. This was also the second time that I had an underwhelming experience overall flying Jetblue so that added to the disappointment."

Pros: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."

Neat clean A330, friendly crew & food + beverages to brag (you pay outrageous prices on 'leaner-meaner' airlines if at all available). Loved the whole experience. Flying is not only getting from A to B & Delta has realized it. Looking forward to my next Delta flight!"

We arrived in Boston at 12:02 am, 11 1/2 hours after our arrival at JFK from Rome. This was not a very friendly welcome home. We never would have booked such an extended delay as we only live 4 hours from New York City."

The seating was the same as every other airline - not roomy enough. On the bright side, I've had more than a few meals on international flights with six or more other airlines and this was the best meal service so far. Dinner was very tasty!"

The options United gave me would have had me missing the wedding, AA had more flights that allowed me to make it in time, considering it was booked 12 hours before take-off, it was decently reasonable and left on time and got in early (imagine that, United). Thank you American Airlines, again!"

Cons: "We boarded the plane at 1:30 for a 2:00 flight, there was a filter out in one of the three bathrooms; the option to take a 45 min flight without use of the restrooms was there, we were told to use the restroom if we needed to before the flight so everyone did... then we continued to sit on the ground for two hours. After two hours we were allowed to get off the plane, 20 minutes later back onto the plane, backed away from the gate and then pulled into a different gate and were told to get back off the plane. At this point we were given no info or direction but to go talk to special services if we want to re-book a different flight (sold out until at the earliest 8:15pm). After about an hour they announce they are re-boarding the original plane, takes another 45 minutes to board the plane, then we are told two separate issues caused this lengthy delay one was a filter in the bathroom and the other was a thermostat... seems like very basic standard maintenance issues that could have been avoided with routine checks. We were offered zero compensation, the trip took over 6 hours in all to fly from Philadelphia PA to Boston MA; a trip I could have driven in less time. I continue to have issues with American Airlines and "mechanical" delays, the last flight i was on From Charlotte to Baltimore was delayed an hour due to a strap in the cargo area. I don't understand the logic behind the decisions made to hold the full plane over 5 hours instead of taking a 45 minute flight, but I will say the crew was very apologetic and handled the situation well."
I think that everything could have been better. The woman who checked me in at the airport was awful. She did everything to make us miss the flight. She answered with unwillingness, already mentioning that l couldn’t board because of 2 minutes, and we were in the check-in line for more than 5 minutes. She only solved the problem after we started asking several questions about about her reason for not releasing the boarding pass to us. We had a very stressful boarding.
The trip late more than 1 hour and gate change. The trip with reasonable price but everything is so poor. And they try to make extra money for anything
I liked that the flight was non stop, but there was a lack of amenities to enjoy during the 3 hours of flight. The food and beverages were not complimentary which is fine, but some of the snack revenue/ profit could go towards expanding the seats by 2-3 inches or an option for in flight movies.
The flight attendant was late and we boarded an hour later than we were scheduled.

It's cheap and when it works, it works. When it doesn't work, they have no back-up or relationships with other airlines. Lost 2 days of our vacation."

Overall, though the crew was great, I would NEVER fly this airline again."

Our plane taxied into the gate my connecting flight was docked at. We waited in the plane so my connecting flight could take off. In turn I wasn't pushed to a flight 5 hours later. I left my accommodations at 6:15AM. Due to layovers and delays I will not be home until 11:15PM. Also planes required "maintenance" each time and still had no running water and jammed overhead compartments."

None of the attendants at the desk knew what was going on and basically said they didn't know if we would be able to make the flight to Portland that day unless they could find another plane. They finally found another plane, but when we arrived to Portland there was someone at the gate and we sat on the tarmac for sometime. Clearly lack of communication or something. Upon landing every single person got their bags, but somehow mine did not make it on. They said that happens often that they can't fit all the bags and they have to send them on other flights. Unbelievable. I will ever fly frontier again, it is not worth the reduced ticket price to end up just being charged outrageous prices for everything else and having such disorganization and lack of proper scheduling."

She called for help and another woman told me that I would "only" have to pay $60 for the suitcase (which is the most outrageous baggage fee I've ever heard). At that point, I handed my ticket to the woman at the counter and asked her to charge my ticket. When I tried to board, I realized that I didn't have my ticket so I went back to get my ticket from the woman - she LOST it and needed to reprint it. When I got home, I saw that in addition to the $60 bag fee, they charged me $2.50 to print my ticket! Frontier's business practices are deceptive! Sure, the tickets were about $100 cheaper but having to pay extra for baggage fees and dealing with delayed flights makes it not worth the money at all!"

While in that trip I was not charged for the bag as the size & weight fitted into your norms. But I had to pay $195 for 3 bags,including the bag which I had while leaving Boston. The behavior of the staff manning the boarding gate was nasty. As I was not having a credit card with me, I chose to pay cash. But they refused to accept cash & told me that my flight will be cancelled and I won't be allowed to board the aircraft. I panicked & requested the passengers to take money from me and swipe their card. With great difficulty I found a passenger who obliged me. A fresh boarding pass was issued to all 4 of us. The bag which I had while taking the flight to Chicago on 8/6/17 fitted on the equipment which measures the sizes, but I was made to pay for it. Very horrible experience of flying a so called low fare airline."

Cons: "Flight down to Fort Lauderdale was cancelled we were told "because of the crew". It went downhill from there. No updates on progress...The spirit team at Boston airport was clueless and rude. Finally after hours of waiting and wondering how this all was to be handeled, we were told the "only option" was to get a flight to fort Meyers the next day at 3pm and get bussed to ft Lauderdale. This inaction would have caused us to miss not just the one day we already missed, but another on top of that. And I kid you not, we spoke to 7 different staff members, including the female who looked to be in charge, and not one of them uttered an actually apology for the inconvenience. I had to call on my own to rebook and pay $1,400 to get another flight one way for 3 of us. We booked spirit to save $$, and we actually ended up spending more and missing a day of our hard-earned vacation. We will never fly spirit again. I have been bumped from flights before, but NEVER has it been so mishandled and we were never treated as if we were an annoyance. We should have been offered compensation above and beyond the refund of our one way flight."

With what I paid for the flight itself, the charge for 1 carry-on bag and the fee for selecting a seat at the time of booking, my total cost was more than what I would have paid on Delta or American. Will not be a repeat customer of Spirit."

I wasn't happy that when I did the early check in the day before departure it offered me to get bumped up to Zone 2 so we would get seated first and have first access to the overhead bin. I purchased it for about $20 but on the way to West Palm they called both zones to get up to board the plane and for the return trip to Boston, Zone 1 got called first to board. This was money spent for nothing....like a donation. the bottom line is that what we spent with Spirit was not less expensive than other airlines. By the time you add all extra fees, there are no savings."
Cons: "the flight was delayed again and again for over 18 hours even as other planes from other airlines took off around us. at one point we boarded the flight and sat 10 feet from the gate for over an hour before they returned us to thr gate and made us disembark. for another set of delays we were told that the person supposed to tow the plane had lost his access badge and another person had to drive in from home to do the work. other than this, the gate staff gave the passengers limited to no information. no amenities were provided to delayed passengers (no snacks, accommodations, etc). plus, the terminal had only one women's restroom with only two stalls, one of which was frequently out of toilet paper."

I had carried it on at Logan and with Delta 2/8 and 2/10) and many other airlines before. On board people all around us carried on bags similar in size to our checked bag."

A 3 hr flight turned out to be a 15 hr journey to destination. Crazy."

Keep 'em on the phone.. You'll win. Seats are cramped and they cost the same as better airlines after all their extra, hidden fees. Enjoy it Spirit. That was our first, and last flight with you.. ever. I'd rather take a three stop flight to get to my destination from a reputable airline."

Cons: "After a slight parking delay at the airport I made it to the Spirit check-in 43 minutes before departure. Spirit representatives had already left the counter leaving me, my family, and several other passengers who arrived just after me with no ability to get boarding passes. We proceeded to the security area where we could see the Spirit reps who could have easily checked us in at that point. We spoke out to them asking for help but they simply looked down and ignored us. They told the TSA agents they would not come out till after the flight departed. Imagine how frustrating that was to hear. No other airline behaves like this. Later, my request for cancellation and refund was rejected because I missed the 45 minute window. I am out $544. I managed to get a flight with Delta that morning and was treated like royalty by comparison. The Delta flight was almost the same price to boot. Never again Spirit! Not worth saving a few pennies to be treated like that."

Airline has no reciprocal agreement to put us on other flights. Agent gave us wrong info, told us to take refund, and come back if we couldn't get on another airline. We took his advice, came back, and the flight cost was over $1,000 each. We will never book on Spirit again."

Cons: "Where to begin. You arrive at the airport to endless lines. There were three lines to check in and we learned eventually that one line was for Cuban flights. One for us and one for something else. However, the staff was rude and there was no signage indicating which was which. Then the baggage claim lady charged me $59 extra for my bag but then said that if I had had my friends check the bag I wouldn't have had to pay the fee. Of course then it was too late. Then the flight was delayed because the bad overbooked it. Finally at Boston our bags took forever to arrive and when they did the were soaking wet. I understand that Spirit is meant to be the economical carrier but that is no excuse for rude and incompetent staff. I heard SOO many people say they would never fly Spirit again. Get it together Spirit!"

When we found at AT CHECK IN, 24 hours ahead of time about all the extr fees, we rebooked on another airline and said forget this airline, what a rip off! Never again will book this airline with all those hidden fees. It was excessive and not mentioned till check in. Bad business model!!"

Cons: "I had 2 tickets booked for Boston on November 17th at 5:58pm. I tried to check in online for both travelers, but according to Spirit Airlines website, you cannot check 2 tickets from the same account. When I arrived at BWI airport and went to the Spirit Airlines desk the lady told me that the flight is closed even though it was still not boarding time yet. I explained to her what happened and asked for cooperation, but she just kept repeating that flight is closed and next flight is in 2 days, which I couldn't wait for, because of the scheduled appointments that I had in Boston. In general the service was terrible and the website platform didn't work right. I had tk pay $250 dollars for last minute ticket while I already lost the money for the first two tickets."

Cons: "Horrible Horrible airlines. First airline that I will make it a point to never fly again. They obviously are nickle and dime-ing everything, but more more predatory than that. Was warned by many on how to avoid this, but still ended up with $140 in extra fees and spent 30 mins on the phone to a foreign customer service line. Spirit changed the gate 20 minutes before boarding but kept the electronic signage same, so people arriving on time waiting at the original gate and missed their flight. With some repeated experience you may be able to to learn minimize you losses but honestly it is not worth this experience again. And if you search online, you will notice that this is a common experience with Spirit."

THEN to realize HE made a mistake..... That was the flight delayed! I then had to ask for a refund and explain that he mixed up my flight. Had 40 min to make it through security at that point. Cons: "Paying my small luggage for 45 dollars"
Cons: "1- no luggage , tricky to make money on any bag including the back bag they charge $50 extra for the back bag that is more than 8x12x16. 2-my return flight seat sold to a person that pay more for it and put me on a flight with a stop (l suppose to be in boston by 10:20 am , instead I reached home at 9:30 pm ) 11 hours delay in airports. 3-i suppose to receive $50 CREDIT ON MY CREDIT CARD AS A REIMBURSEMENT FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE . BUT NONE PAID."
Pros: "Cheap flight, no waiting to print boarding pass."
Cons: "The flight was slightly delayed, but the gate agent did not seem to know about it and the email was sent well after the scheduled boarding time. It was completely unnecessary for me to run through the airport. The same thing happened the last time I flew from BWI to Logan with Spirit."
Cons: "Your baggage policy is GARBAGE. Way to expensive. I will not fly with Spirit in the future if I can help it."
Cons: "The flight attendants were totally unprofessional. After falling asleep during taken off, what sounded like a rowdy brunch with too many mimosas woke me up. It turned out to be four flight attendants hanging out in the rear of the plane chatting very loudly. They were certainly the loudest people on this 6:30 am flight. They were much louder than the three young unattended minor boys on the flight. It sounded like they were having a great time. They were even swapping "funny" stories about passengers from previous flights. I could have slept despite the uncomfortable non-reclining seats on this flight but the flight attendant party made it it impossible. I am sure I was not the only one. Everyone in the back 5 rows was awake. The most unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced. On another note, the spirit website that one must use to check in for free is a pain. The mobile version does not work properly and the password reset link doesnt workl"
Pros: "Absolutely nothing."
Cons: "We were told that our flight was delayed, with no explanation. Then, we were told it was weather. However, weather in Boston was clear and then slightly stormy. They said it was a 'ground stop' which is for severe weather. People waiting for passengers in Boston said that the weather was not severe. Then, after waiting for hours, with a plane at our gate, our flight was canceled, without explanation. People received conflicting information from, a cabin pressure issue, to a severe smell aboard the plane, to a ground stop in Boston. Spirit could not book us on another flight or a different airline until potentially late the next day (we didn't wait in the 2-hour line to find out). This is the last time I will fly with Spirit. Budget tickets shouldn't mean budget service and lies."

Cons: "The flight was canceled and we did not have any compensation for the damage. I lost all my arrangements I had in boston during the day , my whole weekend was messed up because I was traveling only for two days."
