Cons: "For some reason, the pilot couldn't figure out how to adjust the cabin temperature for the first hour or so. This made the flight (and I was sitting in an exit row seat, right by the door which is usually cooler) uncomfortably hot and muggy. Food? No food. Thank goodness for Delta Lounge (even if it was the one in PHL). Just snacks make this a poor option for many. I don't know what is up, but the USB charger on the two monitors didn't work and neither did the outlet between the seats. And I have two different sets of cables "just in case" and they're the 3-in-1 so I can try to charge multiple devices (Apple, Android and Samsung) but nothing worked."

As boarding began she had to redirect at least seventy-five percent of those in front of me as they were not in First Class. Had she made one or more clear announcements about boarding procedure I rather doubt such a misunderstanding would have occurred with so many."
Cons: "For the third Delta flight in a row (all First Class) the crew did not make any effort to keep economy class cuctomers form storing bags in the First Class overhead or using the only First Class laveratory during flight. This flight I was unable to utilize the laveratory even once due to this excessive and continuous useage. Trying to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint, yet I am sorely tempted to return to charter service when disrespect of the airlines own basic service class rules gets piled on top of TSA hassles."

Cons: "Delta Flight #1661 I paid for 1st class. My first flight was late so I arrived at the gate after boarding began. When the gate attendant scanned my ticket another printed. When he handed me the ticket my seat had changed to seat 25E. I told the attendant that I had paid for first class. He asked me to step aside while he contacted his supervisor, Joe. Then I had to wait until ENTIRE flight had boarded which defeated part of the reason I paid for the upgrade. This was on top of the fact I was so thirsty because 1st flight didn't have drink service and because it was late I had to book it to the connection arriving sweaty, hot and needing to use the bathroom. I was told they had given my seat away to someone as a free upgrade. Joe offered me a $100 voucher to take other seat which was less than I paid for 1st class, plus the seat was a middle seat in the rear of the plane. When I told him as much, he tried to manipulate me by telling me that they would have to kick someone out of my seat. When I declined the downgrade, they made me stand by while they kicked someone out of my seat which was embarrassing and humiliating. Then, when they handed me a new boarding pass, it was not the seat I had paid for and selected, instead it was in the first row, which I’ve always hated because there is no under seat storage and I cannot keep my backpack with me. When I pay for first class, it is primarily so that I can board first and so that I have extra room to work (which I need access to my bag to do). While I was trying to take out the minimum of the things I needed from my bag and figure out how to manage without it, 3 times a flight attendant told me they had to take my bag (since I was the last person to board they tried to prevent me from using the bathroom and they were anxious to leave early). I tried to explain that Delta had prevented me from boarding earlier and that they gave away the seat I paid for which was NOT the first row."

On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

My personal entertainment system did not work properly so I could not use it."

Over priced,horrible food and no workin tv. Expect more for the price. Will be my last time using them after years of doin so"

We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall."

Then flight was supposed to be delayed 90 minutes. This meant missing connections so automatic rebooking took place. Flight was then not delayed and had to rebook on original flight. Naturally bag didn't make the trip."

We then had to fly stand by to Chicago and stand by again to get to St. Louis."

Cons: "Didn't realize AirCanada Rouge didn't have entertainment, which allowed me to get work done...but you know, movies are cool too. Also the seats are super close together and make it a bit clostrophobic."

Cons: "Spending the entire flight with my knees wedged into the the back of the seat in front of me was painful. I'm 6'2" which is not unusually tall. So greedy and careless for Air Canada to put the seat rows so close, selling an extra row of seats while causing pain for all the tall passengers."

Pros: "crew was helpful and nice, especially in the terminal which is hard for mom to get around. If you need a wheelchair remember to ask beforehand. We hadn't so we had to wait sometimes while they located one for us. As we had long layovers (so mom could rest) this wasn't a problem for us, but with shorter turn around times it could be an issue."
Cons: "people were rude. couldn't lean seat back and it was a red eye so I had no sleep for 25 hours. WAY too NOISY for a red-eye flight which also didn't help with rest."

Pros: "I was able to use my iPhone, good thing I had an iPhone"
Cons: "I wasn't told to download the app before I got on the plane. It was a ten hour flight with limited entertainment on my iPhone. I was rebooked on SAS with my flight to Europe. SAS Entertainment and Food was much better than AirCanadas Entertainmnet and Food on the long flight from Montreal to Copenhagen."

Pros: "We had to book our son on a flight from Phila to Toronto unexpectedly. We had lost our car keys in Canada and had no way to get new ones. (That's a long and complicated story.) our only option was to fly our son up with the spare key. Luckily he had just gotten his passport. He got a window seat and lived the adventure. The crew couldn't have been nicer."

Cons: "The gate changed 4 times and there was confusion at final boarding. The Toronto airport TSA agents have absolutely no manners and need to be retrained or fired. Traveling has become very stressful and try make it worse. There was a Hispanic girl, heavy set with curly hair yelling at us to approach the scanners. I talked to her asking her to be gentle with us because we'd just flown for 7 hours and are suffering from time zone changes. Another yelled at my seatmate about his travel size after shave. She was a black Caribbean. She snapped at me about the importance of security and that he was rude for saying he didn't care that she'd throw his stuff away. I told her that he said he didn't care because he's tired and quite frankly, a trail sized aftershave that she doesn't approve actually doesn't matter and is nothing for her to get worked up about. Her colleagues were all staring at her as she started throwing her weight around and making unprofessional nonverbal noises. Then there the room where you weight for your name on the screen to appear if your number is 1 or 2. The people in there are extremely gruff. There was only one Hispanic woman who took my slip of paper that had my pic who said please and thank you. Then when you go to customs to get your passport signed, the guy at counter 10 starts arguing with me for no reason. I put 1 family member on the customs form. He asked if anyone is traveling with me. I said no. He clarified that one should mean an additional person and not just me traveling. I said it wasn't clear and I didn't know. But he decided to get argumentative with me about it until I said ok and walked away. Your TSA process is a nightmare. I did not experience that at Heathrow, Vienna, Or Tel Aviv (all places that have recently experienced terrorism). I didn't even experience it in my arrival town Denver. Toronto TSA is very very poor."

Cons: "No entertainment system. Very slow boarding."

Pros: "The crew treated me very well. I had reasonable leg room in economy class. The plane was beautiful, clean and super modern, one of the nicest aircraft that I have flown with in many years!"
Cons: "I ordered Asian vegan meals, but I was very disappointed with was presented to me. The food looked awful, tasted bland and insipid! I hope that that problem will be rectified on my return to the US."

Cons: "1. Flight left late. 2. After landing sat on tarmac for 30 minutes waiting for gate. 3. After arriving at gate, had to wait 15 minutes to open door. 4. Poor service assisting me to get to connecting flight on other side of airport."

Cons: "There were some delays taking off, but I don't think it had to do with the airline"

Cons: "We did have a 30 minute delay, not a big deal but a delay none the less. And boarding was a bit of a mess as announcements were hard to hear."

Cons: "The entertainment options seem quite limited for a flight that long. Most of the movies and television episodes offered were dated."

Pros: "My flight was comfortable and without any issues. Good was great. The inflight entertainment should have more choices."

Cons: "My Mon couldn't fly because I never have noticed that she needed a Canadian Visa. She came from Mexico with her American visa and the experience buying a ticket with this airline was a nightmare."

Cons: "When service came to 40 they barely had anything but snacks. Long flight and only one round of service seems scanty. Flight half over when they came by. Difficult impossible to lower arm in middle seats"

Pros: "My father passed away earlier that day and I needed a ticket quickly to fly home. At the airport I was a mess and the airline counter attendant was so amazing helping me ( I had never flown United and had no idea about their luggage policies ect..). She quickly pulled me aside.. helped me with checking in and did her best to fine me another seat thatvwas better than the one I had already chosen.Also, she gave me a hug and her condolences. Flying with an airline that has heart helped me so much during one of the most difficult times of my life. I will absolutely fly with them again."
Cons: "No complaints ... but I paid for a movie to take my mind off of my father's passing during the flight and there was a short in my monitor for our whole row. It kept cutting in and out and "searching for signal", I only was able to see 1/4 of the movie I paid for with all the interruptions in signal."

Cons: "Crew was rude, not just to me, but to other patrons. Flight was packed going and the man scanning boarding passes spoke to those of us asking simple questions as if we were stupid and defiant. Was he a prison guard in his previous job? On the way to Newark, I had an aisle seat. One of the stewardesses blazed by me with a cart ramming it into my shoulder without so much as a, "sorry." I'm not a big woman but maybe as I dozed off I leaned over a bit...There is no way she didn't feel her cart hit me. Rudeness, it seems is a part of the culture at United because the flight attendants coming back squeezed past the long line for the bathroom without saying, "excuse me." They did however, say, "I need to get by," and one of them brushed by the gentlemen sitting next to me and bumped his laptop and coffee. Overall it seems that the crew working these particular United flights have forgotten that we pay hard earned money to fly. Some of us are going on vacation, to see loved ones, and some are flying to deal with unpleasant circumstances. The staff may fly several times a day, but most passengers do not. There's a lot of prep and anxiety, that goes into taking a flight and a surly flight crew multiplies that anxiety. No one wants to fly with a crew that hates their job."

Cons: "My wifi didn't work on board I was completely counting on it to work and I paid for it and it never actually connected me (so I wasted the money and didn't get a refund and I also missed an important online meeting!"

Cons: "Very cramped seating. The on flight entertainment kept searching for a satillite signal, only ever staying on for 30 seconds before searching for the next 3 minutes."

Cons: "On the return home, I was seated in the last row right next to the lavatory. I was bumped into at least 25 times by other passengers and flight attendants. I would suggest removing the aisle seat on both sides."

Then united rebooked me for the next day but gave me no voucher or money towards a hotel so I had to get one myself since it was all night in the Houston airport.mthem the rebooked flight had mechanical problems we had to change airplanes, and gates/terminals and were delayed another 2.5 hours. It was terrible."

Cons: "Where do I start. Let's start with booking and the lack of knowledge, inability to listen and respond in an appropriate manner, and the fact that after I asked to speak to a manager due to the previous issues with the agent, and after being transferred all I needed was some understanding and support due to a family emergency and instead I get a short rude push back and then hung up on by the manager after I expressed my struggle and desperation for help. The lack of empathy and just the overall experience was beyond horrible, and if it wasn't for the desperate situation I was in I would have never used your services."

Cons: "I didn't like that on the way to Philly I could watch movies on my device, but on the way back I would have had to pay to use the seat-back system."

Pros: "It was a light flight, so I could have my carry-on with me even though I was in group 5. The breakfast -- berry pecan French toast -- was surprisingly tasty and satisfying (if not very attractively presented)."
Cons: "Too bad I had to pay so much for the exit row seat. I'm tall and it's needed for standard comfort (as opposed to extra comfort). Oh well. Gotta squeeze those dollars out of the passengers every way they can."

If you know a large number of your passengers are coming in on a flight from the east coast that was delayed for de-icing...wouldn't it be easier to just hold the flight, since it is the last flight of the night. United's customer service and care of passengers is horrible!"

Cons: "I was asked to change my flight. I did so out of the goodness of my heart. I then went to check into my new flight and I was told I wouldn't probably be put on it. Although it was eventually corrected, it was unnecessary frustration."
