Pros: "Delay of check in with upgrade"

Cons: "I needed to change the date of the flight and JAL refused to change it. that sort of made it a bad flight since I couldn't take it."

Pros: "The crew is outstanding. A girl two seats away from me barfed and two attendants were there immediately with a bag, cleaning wipes, etc. They are very friendly and patient with passengers. The next best part was the comfort. I got a good amount of sleep on my nine-hour flight."

Cons: "A family with 2 kids making noisy and crying nonstop during the flight the father was playing Japanese video games with headphones on and very careless but once in a wile started yelling at Kiks because they distracted him from his entertainment. Grandma next to them was careless too,mother left the kids to father and was sitting 2 rows in the back and they never came at least to try to make them quiet even when the kids started to kik everywhere licluding the food tray and almost breaks it. Unfortunately the staff never came and try to talk to them about this issue Most of the people including several senior citizens looked angry and frustrated."

Broker in between introduce by website made it impossible to rebook flight in practice. Those website are very practical to look for flights but unless they give you the company direct you are better off switching to company site and book it there. Cons: "I purchased a flight through one of the participating vendors on kayak for a major airline and accidentally chose the wrong departure date. I never received a confirmation email and therefore missed the flight. I understand and take full responsibility for booking the wrong departure date but when I tried to change it after missing the flight I was told that the airline policy was to charge a $300 change fee plus $30 for the third-party vendor. Because this was booked as a round-trip this vendor was attempting to charge me $330 plus the full price purchase of a new ticket as the "change fee". For some reason I was unable to explain to the person on the phone that it made no sense for me to pay full price for a ticket plus give that vendor an extra $330. I was forced to eat the entire round-trip ticket and of course save $330 by just hanging up and booking a new flight. I have course book a new flight directly with the airline. I could not even fly standby on the next flight with the airline because they told me they were unable to assist me in anyway because I booked through a third-party vendor. There were plenty of seats available on the next flight and I would've been able to fly standby had I purchased directly from the airline. Never again"

I get really anxious with flying and traveling in general and was so eased just by their friendliness and organization. Thank you! I also forgot to write a review but my flight from San Diego to Tokyo on June 27 was also amazing. I was really stressed out over some logistics of my trip and the people at the gate in San Diego were so helpful!"

Pros: "On the flight home they upgraded me to business class while apologizing my original economy seat was not available. Amazing. I had a rather unsettled stomach so when the food service came I wasn't hungry. I told the flight attendant, and she brought me some very bland easy to eat food without me even asking. She then checked on me constantly to see how I was feeling, and suggested sparkling water. When I deplaned, she checked one more time with me, if they could do anything. I was feeling much better, and give this airline my highest endorsement."

The lavatories spotless, along with those cool Japanese bidets...first one I've seen on a plane. Overall, I loved the experience."

They normally only allow early boarding of young children, but we need extra time as I have 2 children to organise and my daughters sight dictates that i have to assist her. Other passengers were not impressed. I would like the airlines to take the initiative to have all children boarded early as if we board with everyone else, the aisles will be blocked as my children try to get organised."

Reason: There are two queues 1 For people who did a web checkin 2 people who didn’t do a web checkin The Qatar staff at Hyderabad experienced a technical glitch because their only system failed and there was no backup option. There was no apology from any of the staff. No one values the time of the people who chose Qatar making it a very bad experience overall"

Cons: "Four travelers were seated in 4 different areas on flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco flight. Three of us of us were senior citizens. Two had disabilities and were.not accommodated in any way by Cathay Pacific (CP) while loading in the four areas of the plane. Those of us that we're physically able could not help those with mobility issues because of the proximity of the seating, I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well. I traveled internationally to Asia three times now on CP and the first two were excellent. In the past had had flown other carriers on out trips to asia. This experience on this flight was beyond bad. I had plan on several more trips to Asia the next three years, and I will say that at this point, I will not fly CP again. Something needs to change. A call to me is in order. I witnessed several gaps in CP systems and other issues with training the staff. Your survey did not specify the flight crew. Except for the loading issues and the lack of information about Customs being.closed at SF, the service was world class...what I had come to expect from CP"

Cathay has no agent in airport to speak with...must communicate through local airport personnel, who have no information, nor authority to help. Cathay wouldn't track down bag or deliver in readonable amount of time, so we had to go back next day at midnight when nxt plane arrived + hope bags were on it. We were shocked as crew was so organized getting us (people) to connecting flight in Hong Kong. Woman met us at gate and personally led us to connection gate. Only a few gates down in same terminal. In case you're curious: not that we expect Michelin star dining, but the food is dismal. Some of the worst airline food ever. It's like pure sodium + tastes very much like the aluminum can it surely came out of."

Cons: "The flight from Phoenix to Vancouver was good except for the poor wifi when we were connected to the air canada wifi. Since there is no mini TVs on the back of the seats, you have to connect to their wifi to access shows and movies from your own device which is fine if it works. Tried to watch a movie which had huge problems connecting and the loading signal was on for a large amount of time. Once it had connected to the movie, it had restarted to the beginning about 25 times during watching it. Very disappointing and made it very unenjoyable. Also, right after we boarded, the pilot went on the intercom to tell us the ground crew had a gas spill and had to take extra time to clean it up which led us to sit on the plane for an extra 45 minutes and that led us to miss our connecting flight."

Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!"

Air Canada needs to revisit the timetables from Toronto, all the transatlantic flights leave after 16:00, that creates long queues in the airport security and huge delays in cases like mine. I arrived 20 hours after my original flight because of this schedule. Additionally, they did not offer us any food, while the whole process took more than 10 hours. We arrived in Toronto at midnight local, when everything had already closed for the day."

Cons: "Did not fly Air Canada from Phoenix to Toronto; flew much cheaper version "Rouge". Flight was delayed more than 40 minutes in Phoenix while cargo rearranged, making us late for connection in Toronto (1.5 hour layover initially). Stewardess told us we could make flight if we ran through airport, but when we got to the gate, we were told that we had been rescheduled on another flight 2 days later! Crew on flight did not tell us this. We did manage to get another flight to Frankfurt 2 hours later on Air Canada, then to Barcelona on Lufthansa, arriving 8 hours later than originally scheduled. Rouge flight had fewer amenities than Southwest and less legroom. Did not know what were getting when booked flight -Will never fly Rouge again!"

Cons: "As far as I'm concerned , I didn't fly Air Canada, I flew Air Canada Rouge. Air Canada Rouge is a VERY poor representative of the Air Canada brand. There is NO legroom!!! My seat mate, who is Canadian told me that they reduced the distance by 3 inches from the Air Canada standard. I am not a tall person, I only have a 30 inch inseam, but my knees were touching the seat in front of me. Anyone over 6 feet tall would be VERY uncomfortable."
