Pros: "I booked an aisle seat and they did not honour it at checking"
Cons: "Everything."

Pros: "The Air Canada Rouge crew was young, efficient & courteous; seats were good; and it was the only direct flight that I can get that day, at a convenient time during the daytime."
Cons: "Better entertainment ( u can only get them streamed to your own device), and maybe a bit better food."

Pros: "Great crew"
Cons: "How late the flight was but they gave us a coupon to make up for it"

Pros: "Crew was friendly."
Cons: "It was incredibly cramped on the plane. Also, despite our ticket saying boarding starting at 2:05, we got there at 2:08 and were among the last people on the plane so there was no room for our luggage."

Pros: "Worst seats of any airline"
Cons: "Worst seats of any airline"

Cons: "Rude staff , flight was delayed, child sitting next to me kept kicking me and his mother wouldn't say anything to him staff also didn't do anything."

Pros: "Prompt boarding"
Cons: "Timing of flight from Phoenix"

Pros: "Boarding was OK."
Cons: "Very uncomfortable generally. No water on the plane. Cold coffee and tea. Just a bad experience."

Pros: "Air NZ part of flight great. Air Canada leaving 1hr late and announcing not enough space In cabin for everyones carry on just caused anxiety for passengers esp re making connecting flights in time"
Cons: "air nz food, blankets, entertainment choices"

Pros: "the hostesses were friendly. safe flight"
Cons: "they always start at first class with drinks and food , by the time they reach further back your flight is half over, can they not do one cart from front and one from back. I realize we were not in first class but please don't ignore us"

Pros: "We did finally get to our destination."
Cons: "Late flights, missed connection, no ground service"

Cons: "Staff was rude; they seemed more interested in talking to themselves than assisting customers. Air Canada never treats customers properly."

Cons: "The flight from Phoenix to Vancouver was good except for the poor wifi when we were connected to the air canada wifi. Since there is no mini TVs on the back of the seats, you have to connect to their wifi to access shows and movies from your own device which is fine if it works. Tried to watch a movie which had huge problems connecting and the loading signal was on for a large amount of time. Once it had connected to the movie, it had restarted to the beginning about 25 times during watching it. Very disappointing and made it very unenjoyable. Also, right after we boarded, the pilot went on the intercom to tell us the ground crew had a gas spill and had to take extra time to clean it up which led us to sit on the plane for an extra 45 minutes and that led us to miss our connecting flight."

Cons: "It’s Rouge. ‘Nuff said."

Pros: "The pilot made the flight a fast time. The airfare was a good price."
Cons: "The seat leg room was too cramped and the plane was older with a noisy cabin in the rear third area"

Pros: "Airport security was great and the airport pane was clean with a great crew!"
Cons: "Didn’t depart on schedule and then had to wait in Calgary to depart as the gate wasn’t available"

Pros: "Got a seat. Made it on the flight."
Cons: "My original flight (booked in January) was changed to the following day and there was no notification. So though the first leg was fine, the second flight (Toronto to London) i had to scramble in Toronto to book the flight and get a seat. (50K elite member)."

Pros: "Every thing"

Pros: "Everything"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "The crew was fairly friendly. A glass of beverage was offered and water was offered a couple more times."
Cons: "Mddle seat is never fun and is one of my dislikes but I didn't hate it. The choice to opt out of the rating of the food and entertainment is not an option on this survey therefore I give 3 stars because they were only available for purchase and I did not purchase any."

Pros: "Didn't like much about this flight. Only benefit was the price and I wish I would have paid more to fly with someone else."
Cons: "Flew Air Canada to the east coast for a vacation. They lost my bag on the way over. Understandable. Things happen. I reported it missing at the airport. My vacation has come and gone and still no bag. Here we are 9 days later and no update or anything. Their baggage center is a NIGHTMARE. I wait on hold for over an hour each time only to be greeted by someone who couldn't care less about my issues. Every person has told me something different. It is beyond frustrating. Highly doubt I will ever see that bag again."

Pros: "The overall process was painless and the flight was cheap"
Cons: "Seats were very close to the seat in front of you. If you're over 6 foot 1 inch don't fly with them."

Pros: "Seat were comfortable (however the struggle is when you have someone with long legs behind you...)"
Cons: "Entertainment was using the app, they could have had a sign at the gate so those of us that didn't have it could have download it before boarding."

Pros: "Pleasant crew"
Cons: "No leg room, very uncomfortable"

Pros: "Friendly crew. Comfortable seats with enough leg room."
Cons: "Cold air blowing on our seats that apparently could not be turned off - we asked twice. Very crowded in terminal with several flights boarding at same time, didnt know when we were being called up and didnt know which line to be in- very confusing"

Pros: "Seats very hard to sit in for 5 hrs."

Pros: "The seating on the airbus 319 in main cabin is very cramped. Prefer Westjet 737. Will use them in future."

Cons: "We were crammed in with no room to move. no way to get comfortable. Seats not comfortable. Very tight space and not pleasant."

Pros: "Staff were courteous. No problem there."
Cons: "The plane was old and there was little leg room. Should retire it."

Pros: "Everything went well with this trip home, the service was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. A real improvement from earlier Air Canada flights. Flights left on time, a bonus."

Pros: "Good flight everything was pleasant but..."
Cons: "My bag did not arrive for close to 2 hours after we landed. About 15 bags were released on the carousel at an appropriate time and over an hour later the rest of the plane's bags arrived. The staff were not overly concerned. They announced a number of times that the bags were coming, it was almost comical. I have dealt with this before at Pearson I don't understand why it takes large amounts of time to unload bags from the plane? Or why a few bags arrived and the others took 2 hours? I am not sure if Air Canada has any control over this or if it is Pearson's responsibility but I would appreciate if you could forward this complaint to the appropriate folks. Thanks."

Pros: "There was drinks but no snacks like cookies or pretzels. There was no form of entertainment on the plane The lines on the airport was way too long and it was overcrowded"

Pros: "The landing of the aircraft was second to none when we landed in Calgary."
Cons: "The seats we were sitting in were uncomfortable. There seemed to be a ridge near the back of the seat cushion and it was very uncomfortable for the entire trip."

Pros: "Boarding is very slow and disorganized. Plane was unusually noisy. Rouge seats are the WORST very little legroom even by economy standards."

Pros: "I thought the crew was awesome. Very friendly, but the bathrooms definitely needed to be taken care of. SO dirty."
Cons: "TV wasn't working at all which made for a very long flight! Food selection ran out. I felt like the plane was old and outdated."

Cons: "Plane way too cold, seat would not recline"

Cons: "The way we were treated when we had to deplane because of mechanical problems. Air Canada spent little time looking for hotel rooms and told us if we can find one for ourselves they would be willing to give us up to$150 for the room if we saved our receipts. Where can you find a room in Phoenix for $150? You can't. The plane was suppose to leave 6:25pm . This was 9:00pm. No offer of food , drinks nothing. People were tired and hungry. Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!"

Cons: "No movies or muisc on the plane. No snacks to eat on the plan journey. No entertainment at all!!"

Pros: "Smooth flight, and all the rest was okay."
Cons: "My seat was damaged and it was hard on my neck, unable to rest it as the top part was jutting out."

Pros: "at least a packet of crisps with your drinks of juice and water"
Cons: "no movies and music-earphones"

Pros: "The pilot got us through some pretty heavy turbulence. Good job!"
Cons: "We were waiting in the plane for a couple of hours. They had us then disembark for half an hour and board again. I missed my connection. Air Canada needs to revisit the timetables from Toronto, all the transatlantic flights leave after 16:00, that creates long queues in the airport security and huge delays in cases like mine. I arrived 20 hours after my original flight because of this schedule. Additionally, they did not offer us any food, while the whole process took more than 10 hours. We arrived in Toronto at midnight local, when everything had already closed for the day."

Pros: "Had the good fortune of an under-booked flight, allowing more space to spread out."
Cons: "Flight departed about 75 minutes behind schedule, but if that was necessary to ensure a safe flight, I'm fine with the delay. We still make our connection, thanks to prompt assistance at the airport."

Cons: "Did not fly Air Canada from Phoenix to Toronto; flew much cheaper version "Rouge". Flight was delayed more than 40 minutes in Phoenix while cargo rearranged, making us late for connection in Toronto (1.5 hour layover initially). Stewardess told us we could make flight if we ran through airport, but when we got to the gate, we were told that we had been rescheduled on another flight 2 days later! Crew on flight did not tell us this. We did manage to get another flight to Frankfurt 2 hours later on Air Canada, then to Barcelona on Lufthansa, arriving 8 hours later than originally scheduled. Rouge flight had fewer amenities than Southwest and less legroom. Did not know what were getting when booked flight -Will never fly Rouge again!"

Pros: "There was nothing to like about the flight, other than the fact that the crew was compatent."
Cons: "As far as I'm concerned , I didn't fly Air Canada, I flew Air Canada Rouge. Air Canada Rouge is a VERY poor representative of the Air Canada brand. There is NO legroom!!! My seat mate, who is Canadian told me that they reduced the distance by 3 inches from the Air Canada standard. I am not a tall person, I only have a 30 inch inseam, but my knees were touching the seat in front of me. Anyone over 6 feet tall would be VERY uncomfortable."

Pros: "Competent staff."
Cons: "Packed in."

Pros: "The flight attendants and pilots do as much as they can to mitigate a truly awful travel experience."
Cons: "There is nothing about the experience that can be recommended. The seat layout is cramped and awful, the entertainment options are half-baked. Even the food is several notches below what you'd get on a normal Air Canada fight. This version of the airline is a national embarrassment."

Cons: "Very crowded, small seating and legroom"

Pros: "The breakfast, one piece of poundcake, that was the only highlight, and one decent size bathroom."
Cons: "Boarding was unorganized, nobody knew what was going on, but the biggest disappointment is there were no movies there are no video screens on the entire plane so unless you bring your own device and have pre-downloaded Air Canada app there are no entertainment options at all! Who ever heard of a transatlantic flight that didn't have a movie? Make sure you download the app so you can at least watch the movies on your tiny screen."

Cons: "Over all, the flight back from Brussels through Montreal and Toronto was a huge pain.. Having connecting flights means nothing regarding security in Canada. We went through security THREE times. My duty free bag of Belgian beer was ripped open two separate times. It was a huge pain. The food also wasn't very good.. For paying almost $1,000 for my plane tickets, I am dissatisfied. I will be looking for a different airline next time. On the way TO France from Toronto, Air canada "over booked" the flight and even though we had paid $100 each to upgrade our two tickets we still weren't able to sit next to each other. Being a very nervous flyer and having someone say, "oh sorry, we overbooked the flight, too bad" is NOT good customer service. Get it together Canada. Not everyone in the world can shrug it off like you do. Never again do I want to fly with them."
