Pros: "Upgrading to the economy plus helped, but that cost me an extra $40. So on top of a plane ticket that was no where close on being on time going or coming back, there was a 25 dollar baggage handling each way, a $40 upgrade (So I can try an get some sleep as we were 2 hours behind coming home, I understand this was optional) and then 22.50 parking fee. So, a $350 dollar ticket turned into a $350+25+25+40+22 = $460 dollar plane ticket. Alaskan airline is not as good of deal as you might think."
Cons: "Alaskan airline can't be on time. they said that they have an 80% on time rating, but the first 2 flights I have ever taken with them (out and back) have both been late, and not just a few minutes. KC to SEA nearly 4 hours late, SEA to KC an hour and a half late. Cheaper, but less reliable. and on top of it all I had to pay 6 dollars for the movie. A movie that was skipping and jumping around"
Pros: "Spacious and comfortable Boeing 737-900 which was not over-booked. Lots of room and efficient boarding process. Friendly crew."
Pros: "Flew Frontier on the way to my destination and Alaska on the way home, the difference was night and day. Everything was better, the seats were comfier, the tray table was larger, there was a wifi option, complimentary food and drink, much more professional staff, even the plane noise was much quieter and to top everything off we got home over 30 minutes earlier than expected. Alaska is definitely my new preference."

Further complicating the problem is that the clearance under the seat varies depending where in the cabin you're seated. It's become an extremely stressful proposition for which I have the privilege of paying an extra +$100 each way whilst having to give up one of my carry ons. As far as I can see, the charge is just straight up greed, since no one would be able to use the space beneath the seat in front of me, anyway, and carrying on my cat cause zero extra work for the crew. I'm going to have rethink my loyalty to Delta. At least with Southwest, they'll let me check two bags for no additional cost."

We sat in the plane for about 15 minutes after landing and the whole time the air wasn't working. Couple that with the fact that I was seated in the row in front of the emergency exit which actually has less room than a normal seat and it made for a miserable flight"

Once again, exit row seats to accommodate for my boyfriend and my heights, and both of our knee surgeries and his blood clot issues, would have cost us to reserve ahead of time. I think that at least a portion of exit row seats should be reserved for individuals with height requirements and special accommodation needs."

Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!"

They weighed my suitcase and even make me take 1 lb out because the scale was 51 lbs, instead of 50! Furthermore, the flight was half empty. Then I had one extra package that I wanted to check. I was told to take it as a carry-on. I told them I thought it was too large. They disagreed. In any event, I took the package to security and was told it was too large! I am really disappointed in the service and am hoping this is not because American Airlines is now running US airways."

The whole time, we kept trying to explain to the different airport staff that we had a connecting flight that we needed to catch, however nothing was being done by any of the parties to ensure that we would make it to our connecting flight. All parties (Customs, TSA, & American Airlines) just kept trying to pass the blame to each other instead of helping us and were rude on top of that. The delays were out of our control causing us to not only miss our flight, but also caused us to have to spend more money to stay at a hotel in Phoenix since the next flight available was not until the morning. This situation has also caused both my husband and me to miss work, causing us to miss out on today's wages. This entire situation has been the worst airport experience we've ever had, and we've traveled all over the world. We usually fly with American Airlines, and would hate to have to go with another airline, but we would have to if this situation is not rectified, and if we are not compensated for all of the additional costs imposed on us."

Also, no USB charging outlets were available. I live in Korea and don't have an American style outlet to connect to a USB, so my devices died. The provided tiny aisle TV which played programmed shows and movies kept freezing, skipping, and turning off. Entertainment is usually the saving grace for budget int'l flights, whose food, service, and comfort can be expected to suck. Next time I'll shell out for Korean Air or Asiana."

I didn't get to my car until an hour and a half AFTER getting my bags. I left Phoenix at 7pm and didn't get to my apartment until 2am. And I had to get up for an 8am meeting the next day. I will say the crew on the flight was amazing and upbeat- they made the trip!"

I boarded plane planning on worse case and landed finding myself in best case situation,on time and safe. Water was not given during the three hour flight - you pay for all refreshments! The planes feel like a budget experience with cheap fold down trays and arm rests that slam down making lots of noise, and there is very little foom under the seat to put a small bag. My same small back pack that fits under other airlines seats wasn't even close to going under forcing me to straddle for the the entire flight. I will NOT use Frontier again. The airline feels like Alligeant that costs much less. I'll stick with Southwest!"

It has become evident that airlines do not care about their customers anymore. I mean if you are going to make us pay for everything then at least be polite. And on the return flight we had to sit for a half hour and wait while they moved another plane that was occupying out gate."

Pros: "This was my first flight on Frontier and didn't know what to expect. When my iPhone boarding pass wouldn't work at security I was sent to the Frontier counter and they helped me instantly. The Phoenix boarding lounge was NOT a good introduction with holes and rips in the seats and a "sofa" that rocked everyone on it whenever someone moved.. The gate attendant however was great - and funny. The plane was VERY nice and made up for the lounge plus we made it to Colorado Springs 20 minutes early! The price ($56 including fees and taxes) means I'll be looking at Frontier in the future."

Checked in online, they charged us $45 per carry on (didn't read the small print, because it's so small, and no other airline I've been on charges for carry ons). To check a bag was cheaper, $35 but no one was at the counter. Also, they charged us $20 per seat when we checked in, did not give us the option of a no-charge seat online. (even though we did have tickets) So, I paid an additional $130 for the 2 tickets total. Shabby airline."

The guy helping me I believe helped the mentally handicapped woman get her duffle in the free bag slot, no problem ... I check in go up stairs two hours later same lady is checking tickets, verbally arguing with MULTIPLE people about baggage.. including me, when I was already downstairs and pre approved to fly with my bag. She made us all get out of line and either pay or re check the size of our bag, some people ended up paying while I got to get BACK in line after already waiting to board and another employee approved my bag to fly. This lady is arguing, smiling, but loudly arguing, very rude and condescending like she was better than everyone. I was appalled at the way they treat their PAYING guest.. Like come on lady, nobody wants to be up at 5 am getting on a plane, but that is the job she chose, so no reason to take it out on paying customers. I honestly couldn't believe her attitude."

Not only did I have to pay for a seat at check in, but I had to pay $40 to brin a carry on!!!! So what the heck did my ticket pay for?!?! Once I choked down the extra $53, I went to the gate and the flight was cancelled. The gate attendant offered a refund or to put me on a flight the next day. He wouldn't look at other airlines for me. The only nice thing they did was make the refund process easy on the phone, since I had to leave the terminal to find another ticket counter to help me. I will not be flying frontier. Ever."
