The flight itself was great. The captain explained a lot about where we were and what to look for out the window. Flight attendants were great so is the plane. Thank you, I will be flying with alaska again. I'm partial to boeing aircraft. Retired Boeing employee. Ed.."

Pros: "Spacious and comfortable Boeing 737-900 which was not over-booked. Lots of room and efficient boarding process. Friendly crew."

Pros: "Flew Frontier on the way to my destination and Alaska on the way home, the difference was night and day. Everything was better, the seats were comfier, the tray table was larger, there was a wifi option, complimentary food and drink, much more professional staff, even the plane noise was much quieter and to top everything off we got home over 30 minutes earlier than expected. Alaska is definitely my new preference."

Pros: "I really like Alaska Airlines overall. Their planes are newer, have power outlets at every seat and the oversize luggage compartment make it easier for everyone to fit with their carry on bags. Way more comfortable than their main competitor at our little airport."
Cons: "I got a notice to check in the day before my flight, which is fine except that they had completely changed my flight to a different one with no prior notice. I searched through my email after I got home in case I missed it, but couldn't find anything. I would have appreciated a bit better communication."

Cons: "kayak never sent a precheck email, app told me i was flying american. went to american, no flight. they told me to go to alaska air, a tram ride and a 10 minute walk. could have missed my flight if running late. the app needs to say which airline to go to, i don't care who the flight was booked thru. huge hassle, wasn't happy."
